Hey mission fam! In this milestone 200th episode - Thoughts on Unity, I'm diving deep into the heart of Easter and what it truly means to be unified. As I prepared for the Millennial Choir's Messiah in America concert, I started reflecting on how quickly we can divide ourselves into tribes and categories - whether it's about mission experiences, personal choices, or different ways of showing up in life. Christ's message was never about everyone being exactly the same, but about being one under His love. I share powerful insights about how contrast is actually necessary for our growth, and how His Atonement covers all our differences and challenges. Using scriptures and personal stories, I explore how we can create compassionate space for each other, embrace our unique journeys, and truly honor the spirit of Easter by choosing unity over division. If you're feeling stuck, struggling with your mission experience, or just need a reminder of how deeply loved you are, this episode is for you. I'll help you see that love's redeeming work is already done, and we can choose connection over criticism every single time. Let's be unified in Christ and celebrate the incredible hope of resurrection and renewal. As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help LDS missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends. How much of what you read online has been planted there by Russian propagandists? How many times have you followed a social media account, or reposted information from an account, that's controlled by a Russian Troll Farm? How aware are you of Russia's ongoing (and shockingly successful) attempts to cripple and then topple America from within? This episode is a different, much more dystopian kind of scary. Inner Journey with Greg Friedman esxplores Unity vs. Divisiveness. Naturalist David Attenborough once asked, "Did you know that if you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing will happen? But if you shake the jar hard, the ants start killing each other. The red ants consider the black ants their enemies, and the black ants consider the red ants their enemies. The true enemy is the one shaking the jar." The same thing happens in human society. So, before we attack each other, we should think about it who's shaking the jar.

From politics and religion to work life and family life....everyone has an opinion and they're not afraid to use it. Today, your hosts Tracy and Cathrine dive into the divisiveness of divisiveness. They begin with a brief debate on how the word divisive is even pronounced. There are two trains of thought on that. ;0) In this episode, you will discover... Addressing the issue - Calling out the elephant in the room. Overcoming Divisiveness - Wait. What? You mean it can be overcome? Faith Over Fear - The real answers to the real problems. As always, your hosts share encouragement from the Bible with you. 1 Corinthians 1:10 A Church Divided Over Leaders 10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. Romans 14:13 13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. Jude 17-19 A Call to Persevere 17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. And, they leave you with a call to action. CTA: Let's all just practice kindness and grace

Cutting ties with family is not just a personal choice; it's a cultural phenomenon with far-reaching consequences. We're tackling the controversial trend of going no contact, especially within the LGBTQ community, and how this practice, amplified by social media and even some psychological approaches, disrupts family harmony. Joined by insights from an Israeli psychologist and a revealing clip from MSNBC, we dissect the ideological shift that is reshaping how we handle familial and generational bonds. Our conversation anchors on viewing these challenges through a biblical perspective, recognizing our shared human frailty, and the transformative power of grace and forgiveness. Our complex world often prioritizes self-interest, leading to divisiveness that creeps into even the most faith-based communities. We share our personal stories and the joy discovered in serving others, acknowledging the cultural polarization that complicates political and religious identities. Despite sharing core beliefs, many feel isolated when political discrepancies are left unaddressed. We're advocating for humility and love as foundational values, fostering unity and open dialogue within the Christian community, and encouraging a deeper understanding of how these dynamics affect our interactions.Emotional resilience and biblical discipleship aren't just buzzwords; they're crucial tools for navigating today's parenting landscape and the fragility brought on by digital echo chambers. By examining the story of King David and his emotional candor with God, we highlight a path toward healing and maturity. Our discussion extends to the pitfalls of unchecked pride and the necessity of difficult conversations to build stronger, Christ-centered relationships. We invite you to join us on this journey of emotional and spiritual growth, where true strength is found in surrender to God's unchanging grace.Join us weekly as we strive help people embrace God's standard for sexuality! In Episode 172. Resolving Differences, I explore the important topic of resolving differences. I delve into the brain's natural tendency to categorize things as "good" or "bad," which can lead to divisiveness, especially in our current climate. I highlight scriptural teachings that emphasize Christ's inclusivity and the invitation for all to come unto Him. I provide practical steps to combat this divisiveness, such as understanding that we may not know someone's full story, creating a safe space for diverse perspectives, and gently addressing divisive language. Importantly, I encourage listeners to let go of the need to convince others and instead focus on broadening their circles to include people with different beliefs and experiences. By embracing our differences and making room for everyone, I suggest we can create a more unified and Christ-like community. In conclusion, I emphasize that the best way to resolve differences is not to try to resolve them, but rather to understand that we are all part of the same human experience and should welcome everyone into our circles with love and understanding. Phillip and I have a educational leadership background which I'm sure you notice especially as we talked Reimagining Leadership, Inclusion, and Wellbeing, Divisiveness and Empowering Diverse Voices and Perspectives. Tune in as we explore the need for effective leadership and the influence individuals can have on shaping the future. We highlighted the importance of leaders being inclusive and not presuming to have all the answers. Phillip expressed regret over the polarization and vilification that occurred during the referendum period in Australia, particularly regarding the role and voice of First Nations Australians. We also discussed the concept of leadership, with Phillip suggesting a shift from the traditional 'silverback' metaphor to a new narrative. According to Phillip, the role of a leader should be to help frame questions and enable solutions in collaboration with the community, rather than being the dominant figure who imposes solutions. This new approach would require a different ecosystem and environment as this new model of leadership is necessary to address complex issues such as climate change, wealth distribution, and access to justice. The changing attitudes towards personal well-being and professional success post covid shows a growing trend of individuals who believe they have something to offer and are willing to take risks to achieve their goals. Additionally, we are observing a shift towards seeking out spiritual communities and a desire to connect with the right people for influence. We also covered the importance of empowering diverse voices, particularly those of young people, and the value of having a range of perspectives and experiences represented. Phillip shared his leadership style, which emphasizes openness to a variety of viewpoints and emotional reasoning in decision-making. We acknowledged the challenges and potential risks of this approach but agreed on the importance of hearing and considering all voices. I am sure you will find some interesting points and views here form one of Australia's finest educators. On today's episode of the Occult Symbolism and Pop Culture with Isaac Weishaupt podcast we are talking about me! You've listened to me for years and now's it's about time time to put me in the hot seat. I'm doing this so you know who I am and how I view the world. I need you to understand who you get your information from so you know my biases and leanings. If we don't agree on everything (as we probably don't) we can at least respectfully disagree and remain in each other's spheres. Divisiveness tears people apart and stovepipes people into being manipulated so it's healthy to have dissenting and differing opinions. To help foster this understanding, we'll go through my upbringing and experiences in life before walking through my opinions in controversial topics from politics to religion, guns & drugs, sex & porn, environment, equality and more!Also- I will NOT be revealing my real name.
