In our conversation he describes his vision and why he thinks that these goals are possible to achieve.
Fenicia Redman is helping us to remove pornography, obscene material from our school libraries. On October 18, 2022 Fenicia Redman testified in support of SB 966 Parents Bill of Rights, Senator Mastriano; Sponsor "I am a mom of a minor student in the Great Valley School District, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Since 2021, I have publicly appealed to School Directors, Principals, and Superintendent/Asst Superintendents to remove explicit, graphic, sexual material from the school library. Despite bringing this to the attention of the School Board at numerous public meetings, the School Board has taken no action whatsoever. No calls. No emails. Silence. I filed complaints with our local Police Department and the Chester County District Attorney. They took no action. They have no problem distributing graphic, sexually explicit material to public school children. I, along with others, silently protested on the steps of the Pennsylvania Capitol Rotunda, holding up posters showing explicit, graphic sexual material from public school libraries. The only response we received was the threat of forcible removal by Capitol Police for displaying graphic sexual images in the Capitol building. Yet, these images appear in library books available to public school children in Great Valley and neighboring School Districts. As a mom, I WILL NOT surrender to this blatant attempt by Extremist School Staff, Police, Attorney General Shapiro, his DA, and Governor Wolf to hypersexualize my minor child. So, to be clear, I will walk barefoot on broken glass up the steps of the Supreme Court of the United States to find justice for my child and our nation's children. I need your help" Send email for Fenicia Redman to injunctionmom@proton.me --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/communion5779/support

This episode is very interesting. I am responding to the "fake news" comments in my most recent article. Also, Governor Wolf wants to bless some of PA residents with $2,000 checks from the state's Billion Dollar Surplus, but he faces some major opposition. This is the most chill podcast episode for me, especially talking about how many people said my article was "fake news". Yes, I have something to say. Grab a drink or snack welcome to the Café. Full Hour | In today's third hour, Guy Ciarrocchi returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his decision to run for United States Congress against Mary Gay Scanlon, a congresswoman who has been on the forefront of propagating hyper-progressive policies. First, Guy comments on the issue most important to Pennsylvanians, being the topic of inflation, telling of the negative effects imposed by policies set forth by the Biden administration. Then, Guy and Giordano switch into a conversation centered on education, discussing the decision by Governor Wolf and the Biden administration to close schools, telling of the negative implication of Coronavirus policies on local schools. Then, Giordano and Dan return to a topic they discussed in the first hour, telling of a horrific car crash at a SEPTA station in the Kensington section of the city, with a car killing pedestrians after traveling over 100 mph down city streets. Giordano and Dan discuss the state of Kensington, with Giordano upset that the City has seemingly turned the section into a real-life equivalent of Hamsterdam from the Wire, allowing crime to persist with no regard for those who have to live through it. Giordano tells what needs to be done for things to change, and pontificates why Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to the happenings in Kensington. (Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images)

Trustees and Presidents- Opportunities and Challenges In Intercollegiate Athletics
Since the Great Recession of 2008-2010, enrollment in Pennsylvania's 14-campus state university system has notably changed, with some campuses growing in enrollment, and others losing students precipitously. The Commonwealth's annual system funding was recently ranked 46th out of 50 states, a dismal statistic. Yet, there are "help wanted" signs everywhere from employers who want to hire college educated employees. What gives? Pennsylvania is far from alone in facing a challenge of increasing costs and fewer graduates. Other state systems around the country are in various stages of the same existential crisis. The solution cannot be just to raise tuition and fees-national research shows student debt is averaging $30,000. To complicate things further, intercollegiate athletics plays a crucial role in attracting, retaining and engaging students on campus. Many of these campuses have highly successful NCAA Division II (and I) athletic programs, with some sports winning NCAA titles. All have loyal alumni and faculty who care deeply about good teaching. Next year, six of the 14 campuses will integrate into two entities, and will show off new names and administrative structures. No campuses were closed. The hope is these reimagined universities will be more responsive to the needs of their regional workforces and the 21st century economy, attracting a scholar and an athlete who wants a dynamic education at an affordable price. All will keep their NCAA athletic teams and identity, no small accomplishment. There are many good lessons in this conversation for other higher education system professionals and for those who work on system campuses to absorb. My guests today are two of the leaders, the CEO and the Board Chair, Daniel Greenstein and Cynthia Shapira. Dr. Greenstein is the chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education. Since 2018, Dan has served as the chief executive officer of the State System (PASSHE), which operates Pennsylvania's 14 public universities, serving nearly 100,000 degree-seeking students and thousands more enrolled in certificate and other career-development programs. The chancellor works with the Board of Governors to recommend and develop overall policies for the System. Dr. Shapira is Chair of the Board of Governors, and president of the David S. and Karen A. Shapira Foundation, leading the development and implementation of the foundation's philanthropic initiatives. She was appointed by Governor Tom Corbett to the Pennsylvania Commission on Women and served on Governor Wolf's Advisory Board on Education and Workforce Development. In 2017, she was honored as a Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania. Dan and Cindy were recently recognized by "City and State Politics and Policy" as recipients of the 2022 Higher Education Power 100 in Pennsylvania. Mentioned in the podcast (and recommended by both Dan and Cindy): Arthur Levine's new book, The Great Upheaval: Higher Education's Past, Present, and Uncertain Future, a complimentary read for this conversation. The term used by Cindy refers to the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/karen-weaver/message
Michael Torres—Deputy Editor of RealClearPennsylvania—joins The Dawn Stensland Show to discuss his latest editorial, “Pennsylvania’s Constitutional Conundrum.” Over the past several years, Republican legislators have proposed nearly 80 constitutional amendments. The amendments wouldn’t need Governor Wolf’s signature and their fate would be determined by a state-wide ballot vote. Torres also reacts to John Fetterman’s debate-night proclamation that there shouldn’t be any limits on abortion, and his willingness to abolish the Senate filibuster. How will these statements impact Fetterman’s candidacy for U.S. Senate in a general election?

President Joe Biden has announced the creation of a disinformation governance board within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Nina Jankowicz will head the board—notably, during the 2020 election she inaccurately labeled the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian propaganda. On Thursday, an embarrassing TikTok of Nina Jankowicz—the proposed head of Biden’s disinformation governance board—resurfaced in which she sings about the dangers of misinformation to the tune of Mary Poppins’ “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Elon Musk sold nearly $4 billion in Tesla stock in order to finance his proposed purchase of Twitter, Inc. During a rally in Ohio, Donald Trump joked that President Biden is being led around by the Easter bunny.

In today's second hour, Giordano welcomes back Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate and former U.S. Attorney Bill McSwain to discuss the importance of school choice after a move by Governor Wolf that deals a huge blow to charter schools within Pennsylvania. McSwain, arguably the strongest candidate for school choice, tells the importance of allowing choice in school selection, particularly here in Philadelphia where the public schools underperform. McSwain explains the benefit of school choice, being the common sense concept of competition to encourage accountability for schools that get automatic public funding. Also, Giordano and McSwain discuss the passage of Act 77 and the Republican state lawmaker desire now to negate the bipartisan agreement that should've never been agreed upon in the first place, and McSwain tells why Pennsylvanians deserve a strong leader like him. When the pandemic hit a lot of businesses were effected, many shut down, many were hanging on by a lifeline. In Jordan's case, his dream of opening a brewery lasted 28 days before the government told him to shut down. What followed was Jordan joining a handful of other Pennsylvania businesses in REFUSING to shut down in defiance of Governor Wolf's orders. This is one business of many who dealt with this, this is one business of many that stood their ground, this is one story that shows what it takes to be a lion business owner in a sea of sheep. Today, Jordan's business is thriving but that can't be said for all the businesses that chose to be "Compliant". --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/whiskeytangolife/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/whiskeytangolife/support

Ms. Coleman has spent a lifetime in public service beginning at a very young age. At the age of twenty, Cassandra was appointed Mayor of her hometown of Exeter Borough to fill her late grandfather, Mayor Joseph Coyne's unexpired term. Following her appointment, Cassandra was re-elected Mayor twice and left office to join the Wolf Administration. In addition to serving as Mayor, Cassandra served as a Junior Council Representative for Exeter Borough during her junior & senior years of high school. She was featured in Oprah Magazine in a segment titled “Women Who Defy Age.” Cassandra was also featured in a national NBC segment called “The Smart Woman”. The Times Leader Media Group honored Cassandra twice for her accomplishments; in 2008 as a Top 40 under 40 recipient and named her in 2019 as one of 14 Distinctive Women. Ms. Coleman can also regularly be found at her family's Italian restaurant, Vino Dolce, in Hanover Twp, where, over 18 years in business she held every position in the establishment, from salad maker to eventually manager to assist her parents. She truly enjoys all their customers, especially their “regulars” who have become more like family. Cassandra is the proud mother to Jimmy IV and continues to reside in Exeter, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. CASSANDRA COLEMAN Executive Director America250PA.
Last week, Pennsylvanians went to the ballot box and voted to restrict Governor Wolf or any other tyrannical governor's power to institute unending emergency declarations. Never again should this much power be left unchecked in the hands of a petty tyrant.
Part I: Law of the Day - “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deut. 6:4-9) Part II: Response and critique of Governor Wolf's proposal for subsidizing higher education. There is evidence of massive and coordinated voter fraud in key “swing states” compliments of the Hugo Chavez/Democrat party/Dominion rigged software conspiracy. But, even more important than getting this evidence before judges (maybe the Supreme Court) is for these state legislatures to PAY ATTENTION! Even if Governor Wolf of Pennsylvania “certifies” the state's electoral votes for Biden, the legislature can certify for Trump. The goal is simple: deny 270 for Biden and throw the election into the House.
