This was not intended as another kids takeover episode, but kids being kids they chipped away at us during a country walk in order to make this happen...and then they took over. In this episode we discuss the forthcoming The Flash movie and how that is the conclusion of 5 character trilogies, our take on Batfleck vs Keaton (aka Keat-man), whether AI can answer our age old debate around our favourite characters Batman and Bond. Speaking of Bond we end up on the topic of the recently re-released Goldeneye 007 for modern platforms and explain to the kids that Fortnite is not the genesis of all characters. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/soh/message

Michael Keat is best known for his pseudonym Miguel Mantovani, head honcho of the mighty Cuban Brothers. An actor, singer, dancer and all-round tomfoolery merchant, he has recently appeared in movies such as Ill Manors, David Brent: Life On The Road and Sunshine On Leith. Michael joins Steven to talk about his life as an actor, how he creates characters, and the personality traits and drive needed in order to carve out a successful career in the world of entertainment. KEY TAKEAWAYS Authenticity counts for a lot in the world of entertainment. It's not enough to be talented - people also need to want to work with you. Being open, honest and authentic is the key to that. You find ideas and draw inspiration from the places you visit and the people you meet. Always be open to influences, because they can take you on paths you'd never previously considered. Finding your groove in the world of entertainment is all about experimentation. You try things out and focus on the parts that work. Finding your flow is essential in the landscape of comedy Sometimes, you don't even need the jokes to work. You just need to find that flow state, and you'll be funny no matter what happens. BEST MOMENTS 'Anyone who's a creator or an actor will have misgivings' 'I wear my heart on my sleeve' 'This was a great way to earn a crust and have some fun' 'If you're in tune - in flow - then you'll be comical, regardless' VALUABLE RESOURCES The Steven Sulley Study The Cuban Brothers - https://thecubanbrothers.com ABOUT THE HOST The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success. My view is you should have multiple focuses to be a well-rounded individual. Success shouldn't be just one thing like money, for example, it should also consist of a healthy fit lifestyle and thriving relationships. As a person who has made a success in life and also made huge cock-ups I feel I can offer suggestions and tips on how to become successful or at least start your pursuit. My 'Study' has taken resources from reading and education plus being around, my perception, of successful people and I, know a lot of successful people from all walks of life. The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: voicesoftoday.net/zsu The Eve of St Agnes By John Keats Narrated by Denis Daly The Eve of St. Agnes was first published in 1820 in a collection containing many of Keat's best known poems. Several of these were retellings of stories which were popular in the Middle Ages and earlier times. The title refers to the feast of St Agnes, a Fourth Century martyr, who is the patron saint of virgins. The main characters are Madeline and her lover Porphyro, who persuades an elderly friend of the family, to arrange for him to visit Madeline in the evening of the feast day. After an anguished disucssion the lovers escape from the castle where Madeline is immured and set out for life together on the southern moors. Their flight is not detected at the time due to the noisy and drunken revelling associated with the feast.
The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: voicesoftoday.net/6ck Lamia By John Keats Narrated by Denis Daly Lamia is a narrative poem that reflects Keat's intensive exploration of Greek mythology. It first appeared in 1820 in a collection entitled Lamia, Isabella, the Eve of St Agnes and Other Poems. The poem describes the search of the god Hermes for a beautiful nymph, during which he encounters Lamia, who is trapped in the form of a serpent. At her fervent request, Hermes transforms Lamia into a human form and she departs to pursue a liaison with her lover, the glamorous Corinthian youth, Lycias. The relationship comes to a dramatic and bitter end when Lamia's true form is revealed to Lycias. Lamia disappears and Lycias dies from grief.

The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: voicesoftoday.net/odes Four Odes By John Keats Narrated by Denis Daly 1) Ode to a Nightingale 2) Ode on a Grecian Urn 3) Ode to Psyche 4) Ode on Melancholy Many of the short poems for which Keats has become famous were written in a burst of inspiration early in 1819, including these four odes. The generally melancholy and sometime elegaic quality of these poems is reflective of Keat's inevitable precooupation with his declining health. Another significant factor was his infatuation with Fanny Brawne, who returned his affection in an unfortunately non-exclusive manner.

In this month's episode of Fitter & Faster, former professional athlete turned coach Rebekah Keat joins host Emma-Kate Lidbury to talk about all aspects of getting race ready. Keat now coaches athletes of all abilities—from pros to beginners—at Team Sirius, the coaching company she leads together with her wife Siri Lindley, who coached three-time Ironman world champion Mirinda Carfrae to her world titles. With race season right around the corner here in the northern hemisphere, Keat gives us her insights and advice on those all-important weeks leading into race day. We chat through how your training should change from about six weeks out from your key race all the way through to your taper (and Keat gives us one of Carfrae's key race simulation sessions). We also talk through the psychological preparation needed, including visualization and goal setting. Keat gives us her advice on how best to set up your race week, both from a training standpoint as well as a logistical point of view. Of course, it wouldn't be Fitter & Faster without our Gear Up section with our resident gear guru Chris Foster, and in this episode Foster runs us through all the key pieces of equipment that you need to prepare well ahead of race week. We talk wetsuits, goggles, bike maintenance, and more—plus we even manage to work in a Talledega Nights reference. This show is brought to you by Shimano. Shimano has recently launched its Shimano Road Crew, as highlighted in this show, which is a group of inspiring people working hard to harness the positive power of cycling within their respective communities, which includes BIPOC, indigenous, queer, and body size-inclusive communities.

The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: voicesoftoday.net/adonais16966d Adonais An Elegy on the Death of John Keats By Percy Bysshe Shelley Narrated by Denis Daly John Keats died in Rome in February, 1821, at the age of twenty-five. Shelley, who was to follow him to the grave the following year, was inspired to compose this pastoral lament, which consists of 55 Spenserian stanzas. Shelley bitterly, but incorrectly, attributed his friend's untimely passing essentially to Keat's extreme reaction to the savage criticism of his major work, Endymion. In the preface to Adonais, Shelley describes Endymion as "one of the noblest specimens of the workmanship of God," and in the poem he states that: "till the Future dares forget the Past, his fate and fame shall be an echo and a light unto eternity!"

He is also a Digital Consultant to various progressive faith agencies and organizations. Rev. Jim and Christopher Harris talk about what it means to be a digital minister at a large church, as well as how those practices can be applied to churches of any size. "Digital ministry is not a vertical silo in the church. It's a horizontal slab that covers every single thing. What is the digital ministry of worship, of stewardship, of education, of pastoral care, of social justice? It can't stand separate from those, but it has to be embedded in all of those." - Rev. Jim Keat Listen to the full episode as Rev. Jim talks about these topics: (6:27) Real Connection (9:21) Campfires and Conversations (12:26) What is a digital minister? This week, Rob is joined by professional footballer, property investor and entrepreneur, Martyn Woolford, who's here to discuss his journey from the football pitch to the boardroom. It's a fascinating story of determination and ingenuity that has seen Martyn turn his considerable skills in sport into incredible strengths in property investment. Sign Up For MSOPI Here: https://bit.ly/msopi-nomad KEY TAKEAWAYS Determination has always been a part of Martyn's life, whether in sport or business. Downtime is better spent on development than rest. It's a formula that has taken Martyn from success to success. Looking for somewhere to invest his football earnings, Martyn aimed for property, as he felt that it was a secure and trusted form of investment. He and his business partner began small, and gradually grew, soon coming to realise that it was an effective, solid way to grow his money and to provide for his future. Early on, Martyn was of the widely held opinion that you cannot be a property investor without money, and so each time he invested, he would wait until the profits were recouped before he invested again. He soon came to realise that there are many other ways of raising finance and investing, which has made subsequent investments that much more expedient. Learning and development are fine, but it's also valuable to realise that you can't know everything. It's more to do with how you deal with challenges and adversity. It's worth pre-empting any community issues before breaking ground on new developments. Martyn endorses educating potential neighbours about the benefits of new development, in order to avoid any potential planning issues in the future. People need to treat property as a business and not a hobby. Many think of it as a side-line. If you put the time in, you'll reap greater rewards. Ups and downs are typical in business as well as life. It's all about having the mentality and open-mindedness to accept these bumps in the road, and the determination to work your way around them. BEST MOMENTS ‘I'm willing to do more than the next guy to get where I am' ‘Once we started to understand the reason for investment, it's pushed us on' ‘You'll never know everything' 'Time is more valuable than money' ‘If you rest on what you know now, in five years' time you'll be irrelevant' ‘If you treat property as a hobby, you'll get hobby rewards' ‘It's all about knowing where you're going' VALUABLE RESOURCES The Property Nomads Website Buy To Let: How To Get Started – By Rob Smallbone (Amazon) Martyn Woolford Twitter - https://twitter.com/martynwoolford?lang=en LJ & Keat - http://www.ljandkeatlettings.co.uk/landlords.htm Martyn Woolford Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/wooly11/?hl=en LJ & Keat Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ljandkeat/ martyn@ljandkeat.co.uk ABOUT THE HOST Rob Smallbone, Rachael Taylor and Matt McSherry, the hosts of The Property Nomads Podcast, are on a global mission to guide your success.
