Dacă ai ajuns aici, cu siguranță că iubești cafeaua și o consideri chiar indispensabilă. Aproape fiecare om a introdus-o în rutina sa zilnică. Cum te trezești, te duci să te speli pe față, mănânci de dimineață și îți începi ziua așa cum se cuvine. Cu o ceașcă caldă de cafea care îți redă energia și te ajută să îți începi ziua cu dreptul. De la clasicul ibric care ședea pe aragaz, am ajuns să folosim aparate profesionale de făcut cafea. Fie că vorbim despre filtre de cafea, aparate de cafea sau espressoare. Fiecare modalitate de făcut cafea este ideală, atât timp cât îndeplinește nevoile tale. Contează câtă cafea bei și cum vrei tu să o savurezi. Cum ți-am spus și mai sus și probabil știai și tu, cafeaua nu mai este o necesitate pe cât este este o plăcere, poate chiar o artă. Nimeni nu ar trebui să îți spună cum să îți faci cafeaua, mai ales că ai petrecut timp să îți perfecționezi modul în care o prepari. În acest articol vom încerca să te îndrumăm nu doar în alegerea modului de preparare al cafelei de dimineață, ci și al modului în care îți vei începe ziua. Îți vom prezenta câteva avantaje ale principalelor trei posibile aparate de preparare a cafelei, iar mai departe decizi tu ce este mai bun pentru nevoile tale. 1. Aparatul de cafea, perfect în casa ta Majoritatea aparatelor de cafea sunt foarte ușor de folosit, pentru că funcționează pe bază de capsule. Aceste aparate se găsesc în piață la prețuri mici. Capsulele sunt ideale pentru cei care vor să experimenteze diferite arome. Costul capsulelor pe lună ar putea să fie destul de ridicat. Trebuie să iei în calcul și cantitatea de cafea pe care o bei zilnic. 2. Aparat în bucătărie, ghici espressor ce-i Îți oferă foarte multe modalități de preparare, de la cafeaua boabe care este măcinată, până la capsule. Dacă sunteți iubitori de cafea tare, înseamnă că espressoul este ceea ce cauți. Aceste aparate se găsesc în piață la o varietate mare de preț. De ce? Funcțiile pe care le are îl diferențiază. Dacă nu știi ce să alegi, îți recomandăm espressoarele Krups, pe care le găsești în multe forme și prețuri care să vină în ajutorul oricărei nevoi. 3. Filtrul de cafea, multă cafea pentru multă cafea Filtrul de cafea este poate cel mai facil mod de a prepara cafeaua. Dacă ești de mult timp băutor de cafea, probabil că nu te interesează detaliile mici și vrei doar să îți faci multă cafea, pe care să o pui în termos și să te duci spre birou. Dacă te regăsești în aceste rânduri, atunci un filtru de cafea este ideal pentru tine. De ce? Pentru că acesta poate face multe cești de cafea dintr-o singură utilizare. Cum funcționează? Destul de simplu. Ai un compartiment semi-transparent care este gradat și în care pui apă în funcție de câtă cafea vrei, după aceea pui un filtru. Peste filtru pui cafeaua, iar după aștepți să se întâmple magia.

The piece features the sample of Krups Type 222 Coffee Grinder and has been written for the Obsolete Sounds project. "The composition reimagines an obsolete world in both the form and the content: it is a tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach, in particular to his Kaffeekantate, and is formally a cantata divided into 3 subsections: recitativo, aria and coro, shaped upon a baroque cliché but filled with contemporary though obsolete sounds deriving from the aforementioned sample. "The recitativo is a free section in which the elements of the whole cantata are introduced. The aria is similar to a baroque aria con da capo, it includes “instruments” and “basso continuo” (all deriving from the Krups coffee grinder sample), and a brief final cadenza of the “soloist”. The coro is a polyphonic SATB choir where a dialogue between high and low voices is established. The whole piece ends with a 4-part chord ideally sung by the ideal choir." Tec-Ed CEO Stephanie Rosenbaum joins Tim Keirnan for a critique of two different electric kettle designs that heat water quickly and precisely: the KRUPS BW3140 Savoy and the Cuisinart CPK-17 PerfecTemp. Both designs accomplish the goal but in very different ways. The KRUPS kettle has its user interface in its base and excellent balance in its carafe, while the Cuisinart has its user interface in the handle of the carafe with better labeling, but worse ergonomics for the carafe itself. We discuss the details thoroughly, along with reflecting on how complex a user population can be for even the most simple tasks like heating water. Perhaps what he's best known for is as a chameleon—he's successfully worked in radio, print media, cookbook publishing, TV, and teaching. Today Arthur talks about: Pork, Fat, Salt And here is Arthur's recipe this week! MARINADE SECHE A dry rub for pork, adapted from Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Vol. 1 Enough for 8 pounds of pork – chops, tenderloin, ribs 2 teaspoons dried thyme or sage 3 tablespoons salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1 teaspoon ground allspice 1 teaspoon ground bay leaf (see note) (optional) Rub the thyme or sage between the palm and heel of your hands, to make it powdery. Combine with the other ingredients and mix well. Use a rounded teaspoon of mixture for every pound of pork. Rub it in and let stand at room temperature – no more than 2 hours -- until you are ready to cook the meat. Or, wrap in plastic and refrigerate up to 48 hours. Note: I use a small Krups coffee grinder (very inexpensive and mine is now 30 years old) to grind spices – put bay leaves in and pulse then let run until leaves are powdered.

Der Computeringenieur Robert Wang hat den Instant Pot vor etwas mehr als zehn Jahren erfunden. Bekannt geworden ist das Gerät vor allem im Internet, bei Amazon und in den sozialen Medien. Bei Facebook zum Beispiel gibt es eine Instant-Pot-Community, die heute fast 3 Millionen Mitglieder hat und dort Rezepte und Erfahrungen austauscht. Einfacher – und vor allem schneller Mit einem Multikocher kann man sein Essen entweder langsam kochen wie in einem Schongarer oder schnell wie in einem Dampfkochtopf, etwa dem in der Schweiz bekannten Duromatic. Vor allem das schnelle Kochen ist beliebt, denn es kann die Zubereitungszeit von einer Stunde oder mehr auf 20 Minuten oder weniger verkürzen. Auch die Handhabung eines Multikochers ist einfach: Die Zutaten werden zusammen in den Topf gegeben oder einige davon erst kurz im Topf selber angebraten, bevor der Rest dazugegeben wird. Danach wird der Kocher luftdicht verschlossen, damit sich der Dampfdruck aufbauen kann, der das Kochen so viel schneller macht. Am Morgen gekocht, am Mittag gegessen Dank Knöpfen und Display am Kochtopf kann bei den meisten Modellen die Kochzeit leicht eingegeben werden. Dort lässt sich auch einstellen, dass der Multikocher die Mahlzeit nach dem Ende des Kochvorgangs noch stundenlang warmhält. Wer will, kann den Topf also am Morgen nach dem Aufstehen füllen und so programmieren, dass pünktlich zu Mittag eine warme Mahlzeit auf dem Tisch steht. Allerdings lässt sich mit einem Multikocher nicht jedes Essen gleich gut zubereiten. Was knusprig werden soll, bereitet man besser auf herkömmliche Art und Weise zu. Dafür lassen sich Eintöpfe, Suppen oder Geschmortes viel einfacher und erfolgsversprechender als im Ofen oder auf der Herdplatte kochen. In der Schweiz oft nur schwer erhältlich Vor allem in den USA wollen deshalb gerade jüngere Leute nicht mehr auf ihren Instant Pot verzichten. Auch in vielen Testberichten bekommt das Gerät sehr gute Noten. Die beliebte Kochshow «America's Test Kitchen», die in den USA im öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunk gezeigt wird, bevorzugt allerdings ein Modell des Herstellers Fagor. Viele der im Internet gerühmten Geräte sind in der Schweiz jedoch nicht oder nur schwer erhältlich. Der Instant Pot kann zum Beispiel bei Amazon bestellt werden, aber nur an eine Adresse in Deutschland. In der Schweiz sind dafür Multikocher von Marken wie Krups oder Crock-Pot im Verkauf. Bei der Auswahl sollte man unter anderem darauf achten, wie gross das Gerät ist, denn manche Modelle nehmen in der Küche viel Platz weg. Mehrpersonenhaushalte sollten sich trotzdem nicht für ein zu kleines Gerät entscheiden, denn Töpfe mit einem Fassungsvermögen von drei Litern oder weniger langen höchstens für zwei sehr bescheidene Esser.
