SERIES 3 EPISODE 17: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Trump is now claiming that the White House rigged the presidential election in 2020. HE was president in 2020. HE was in the White House. "Zuckerberg admits the White House pushed to suppress Hunter Biden laptop story, in other words the 2020 presidential election was rigged," Trump writes. I'm telling you: Mijni-strokes. SPEAKING OF WHICH: There's way more to Trump exploiting Arlington National Cemetery on Monday to take smiling thumbs-up selfies while literally standing on the graves of American heroes. An Arlington official tried to stop the photography; a Trumpist allegedly shoved him; the Trump Campaign decided the correct response was to claim the Arlington official was "suffering from a mental health episode."  JACK SMITH OUTWITS THE SUPREME COURT: This one weird trick actually works. He filed his superseding indictment in the Insurrection case in Washington. It's a little more complicated than this, but basically he got around SCOTUS by changing every reference to "President Trump" to "Candidate Trump" and calling the 1/6 Call To Arms a "campaign speech." RAGE IN THE MACHINE: Thousands of newspaper columns were deleted (hundreds at The New York Times alone) when Kamala Harris agreed to her first sit-down interview. It's with Dana Bash on CNN so she still hasn't scheduled one anybody will SEE. The Cook Political Report has moved two more states from "Lean Democrat" to "Likely" and moved North Carolina from "Lean Republican" to "Toss-up." Maybe that's why Trump has agreed to the September 10th debate - or seemed to. The actual words in his acceptance never says he'll actually be there. And we have the first polling on weirdness by party and while the GOP is accurately seen as more weird, the lead is hardly big enough. B-Block (23:55) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: RW troll blasts Democrats for "not being interested" in the Trump assassination attempt. Turns out all the Democrats on the House committee went to the site survey Monday. Only three of the seven Republicans bothered to. Trump makes the list too after what HR McMaster revealed about the Taliban Trump ordered released. And somebody who made this list in 2007 for indiscretions as a tv reporter is back for mocking Gus Walz while not merely a right wing media nut but also the volleyball coach at a high school with a praised and cherished program for learning-challenged kids. C-Block (33:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: 43 years ago now, my television career starts because the late Lou Dobbs had issues keeping his pants on. It's still amazing.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

www.commsolutionsmn.com- Sometimes the news moves faster than we can keep up with. In the time between we cut this, edited it, and posted it, both Lou Dobbs passed away (RIP) and Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race. Despite that, this is still a hard-hitting, explosive podcast. We all watched in horror as a 20-year old Thomas Crooks tried to change the trajectory of the nation as he tried to end the campaign of President Trump with a single shot. He miraculously turned his head at the right moment, causing the bullet to hit him in the ear, rather than in the head. After the Secret Service piled on President Trump, up he rises like a phoenix from the ashes with a defiant fist in the air, urging the crowd to fight. On that day, a legend was born. In a sad turnabout, a good man lost his life. The people have had enough and everyday Americans seem set on taking their country back from the radicals. There were so many Secret Service failures, that it's hard to believe that it was all accidental bungling of an extremely important job... and the head of the department refuses to step down or take any responibility. Of course the left has decided to give President Trump a day's worth of unity and are now back in rare form. They want to get rid of Biden and have called the attempt on Trump's life "staged" and others have even publicly lamented the shooter's miss. We take a deep dive and give you our expert analysis. Let us know what you think!

SERIES 2 EPISODE 216: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-BLOCK (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: I'm sorry to write this, but it is now time for Joe Biden to withdraw his name for nomination for re-election as president of the United States. He should release his delegates with instructions to vote for Kamala Harris for president. We can, I hope, spend the next twenty years embracing Joe Biden and the greatest sacrifice made by any American politician in our lifetimes while we celebrate Trump being turned down by the pardon board for the twentieth consecutive year. For now, we must approach this without emotion because what is now a problem is on the verge of becoming a disaster. Its essence can be boiled down to five points. First: democracy lives or dies on this. Also the climate and thus continuing life on the planet. We have to choose whatever path offers the best odds. Second: the long awaited FOB (Friends of Biden) push in private is complete. Friends of Biden. Obama's warning to “allies” that the Biden path was “greatly diminished” followed Pelosi, Schumer, Jeffries, and possibly the Clintons reaching out in private to the president to tell him he must exit. I believe if he does not do so by next week these same leaders will risk a temporary rupture of the party by publicly saying they can no longer support him. Third: as I said previously America will always choose the old man yelling at the cloud, especially over the old man whispering intelligently but inaudibly. This nation elected Reagan twice. Fourth: the president has said he will be re-elected because he's done such a good job. This, sadly, is no longer predominant in elections. And it is no how you beat a liar promising the gullible eternal life. Fifth: the polls are cratering. The last 47 of them, Trump leads. I'm beginning to spot a pattern. In new polling by Emerson College, Biden is down by four nationally, and now an average of five-and-a-half in the seven swing states. On the other hand, the same poll pitted Trump against a mythical “younger Democrat who is qualified for the job.” As ludicrously vague as that is, and as much as the rule that the Imaginary Candidate always out-polls the real one, the results are too staggering to totally ignore. In those same seven swing states, that imaginary Democrat beats Trump by an average of seven points. The pendulum swings nearly thirteen points, and even with all the caveats it should at least reassure Democrats that they would not be throwing away their only chance of victory by changing – even now.  MEANWHILE: Evidence continues to mount that Trump was not hit by a bullet but by debris knocked towards him, and is lying about it - as he lies about everything else. The usual idiots were fooled into believing he'd pivot. His acceptance speech at FascistCon24 was the pivot everyone expected, until he demanded that all the charges be dropped against him CUZ UNITY. And the exploitation of the firefighter killed at his rally kind of went off the rails when he brought what was supposedly the man's uniform onstage as if it were a religious icon - and they had misspelled his names. And one of Trump's longest-standing pro-conspiracy co-conspirators is dead. Lou Dobbs – an original birther and a despicable human being – died yesterday. B-BLOCK (32:25) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: We now have more information on who thought MSNBC would do better taking Joe Scarborough off the air as the Republican convention opened and replacing him with NBC's online-only news anchors. It's Cesar Conde, the NBC News boss who's as bad as all the other NBC News bosses. Matt Gaetz spoke at the RNC and he either got too much botox or he had himself laminated. And we have that rare consecutive edition winner. Van Jones of CNN is back and badder than ever. C-BLOCK (47:47) FRIDAYS WITH THURBER: So the Republicans have officially nominated a convicted felon still scheduled to be on trial for espionage and for leading an attempted violent overthrow of the government. In view of that, I must again read you the story James Thurber wrote about Trump fifteen years before Trump was born: The Greatest Man In The World.    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It's Friday, July 19th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Muslims gunned down Catholic father of four A 29-year-old Pakistani Catholic father of four young children was gunned down by Muslim neighbors last week after he objected to their harassment of Catholics in the area, reports Morning Star News. Marshall Masih of Lahore was the sole breadwinner for his elderly parents, wife and four children – who ranged from 10 years old to 18 months old. Please pray God's comfort for the Masih family. Biden could withdraw from race imminently President Joe Biden is taking calls to step aside as the Democratic presidential candidate seriously and multiple Democratic officials think an exit is a matter of time, reports Reuters. Biden, 81, who recently contracted contracted COVID while campaigning in Las Vegas, has faced increasing pressure from heavyweights in his party to cede his position at the top of the ticket after a shoddy debate performance against former President Donald Trump as well as demonstrable mental acuity issues. Even Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York reportedly urged him to drop out of the race, reports ABC News. Describing assassination attempt, Trump said, “God is on my side.” Last night, as former President Donald Trump accepted the Republican presidential nomination in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he described Saturday night's assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, reports The Epoch Times. TRUMP: “I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me really, really hard on my right ear. I said to myself, ‘Wow, what was that? It can only be a bullet and moved my right hand to my ear, brought it down. My hand was covered with blood. I immediately knew it was very serious that we were under attack. I proceeded to drop to the ground. “Bullets were continuing to fly as very brave Secret Service agents rushed to the stage and pounced on top of me so that I would be protected. There was blood pouring everywhere and yet, in a certain way, I felt very safe because I had God on my side. (cheers) I felt that. “And the amazing thing is that prior to the shot, if I had not moved my head at that very last instant, the assassin's bullet would have perfectly hit its mark, and I would not be here tonight. We would not be together.” Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very ready help in trouble.” Trump opposes illegals invasion Biden has encouraged on southern border Trump described the difference between President Joe Biden, who has allowed the invasion into America at our Southern border, numbering 8-20 million, and the chart which he had referenced in Butler, Pennsylvania which saved his life as he looked toward it and escaped the assassin's bullet meant for his brain. TRUMP: “Less than four years ago, I handed this administration the strongest border in American history. But you can see on the chart that saved my life --that was the chart that saved my life -- I said, ‘Look at it. I'm so proud of it. I think it's one of the greatest. That was was done by the Border Patrol. One of the greatest charts I've ever seen. It showed everything just like that, you know, the chart. “Oh, there it is. That's pretty good. Wow!  Last time I put up that chart, I never really got to look at it. (laughter) But without that chart, I would not be here today! (cheers) “I said, ‘You've got to see this chart.' I was so proud of it. And by the time I got to there … I never got to see it that day. But I'm seeing it now. And I was very proud. And if you look at the arrow in the bottom, that's the lowest level, the one on the bottom, heavy red arrow. That's the lowest level of illegal immigrants ever to come into our country in recorded history, right there. That was my last week in office.” Trump: "I will make America affordable again." And Trump vowed to fix America's crippled economy and cast a vision not only for American energy independence again, but American energy dominance. TRUMP: “Starting on Day One, we will drive down prices and make America affordable again. It's not affordable. People can't live like this. Under this administration, groceries are up 57%, gasoline is up 60 and 70%. Mortgage rates have quadrupled. The total household costs have increased an average of $28,000 per family under this administration. “Republicans have a plan to bring down prices and bring them down very, very rapidly. by slashing energy costs. We will in turn reduce the cost of transportation, manufacturing, and all household goods. “And remember, we have more liquid gold under our feet than any other country by far. Under the Trump administration, just three and a half years ago, we were energy independent, but soon we will actually be better than that. We will be energy dominant and supply not only ourselves, but we will supply the rest of the world.” CBS News described Trump's 90-minute speech as the longest convention speech in modern American history. (You can read or search the transcript for key words through a special link at www.TheWorldview.com) News anchor Lou Dobbs has died Lou Dobbs, the conservative political pundit and longtime host of “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” on CNN and then Fox Business Network, has died. He was 78. After 30 years on the air on CNN, he announced his last broadcast on that cable news network in 2009. DOBBS: “This will be my last broadcast here on CNN where I've worked for the past 30 years. I'm the last of the original anchors here on CNN and I'm proud to have had the privilege of helping to build the world's first news network. “Over the past six months, it's become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, politics, and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN, and to engage in constructive problem solving, as well as to contribute positively to a better understanding of the great issues of our day.” Dobbs became known for his fight against illegal immigration, his warnings about Islamist terrorism, and his opposition to outsourcing when industrial jobs in the United States were being moved overseas, contributing to the economic and cultural collapse of small, industrial towns. Dobbs was also known for his pro-Trump coverage. Sitcom legend Bob Newhart, a faithful husband, has died And finally, comedian and sitcom legend Bob Newhart has died at age 94, reports Fox News. Known for his deadpan, stammering humor, Newhart, a comedian who left accounting, signed with Warner Records to record "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart” which sold like hotcakes. He became known for "The Bob Newhart Show," a series which ran from 1972-1978 in which he portrayed a Chicago psychologist living with his wife.  Later, he starred in another sitcom called Newhart, which ran from 1982-1990, in which he portrayed a Vermont innkeeper in a small town with eccentric characters. In his later years, he played the father of Buddy, the unusually tall elf in the 2003 Christmas movie starring Will Ferrell. Unlike many of his multi-divorced Hollywood friends, Bob Newhart was married to his bride, Ginnie, for 60 years. In fact, on an awards show, Newhart shared this story about his wife to whom he had then been married for 40 years. NEWHART: “I have to thank my wife of 40 years. She has kept me grounded. She never lets me get too full of myself. “We have in California --  on Wednesdays, they pick up the garbage and you have to recycle it, you know, take plastic and the paper and that all goes in one, one place. “And very often late Tuesday, my wife will say to me, ‘Honey, would you take out the recycling? They're picking it up tomorrow and you got to separate it.' I will say to her, ‘Do you think Joanne Woodward asked, asked Paul Newman to recycle the, the cans and the plastic?' And she said, ‘If you were Paul Newman, I wouldn't ask you to do it.'” Proverbs 17:22 says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, July 19th, in the year of our Lord 2024. Join me Adam McManus, and my two sons, Honor and Valor, at the Colorado Father-Son retreat Thursday, August 15th through Sunday, August 18th. The news of Texas covered today includes:Our Lone Star story of the day: The Texas Tribune has a big “social justice” story out on Lubbock and it's full of half truths, utter ignorance, and even a lie or two. There are many things ignored by these people, the biggest of which is that people can choose to live anywhere they want and choose to build any type of house they want, and thousands upon thousands do so in Lubbock – of all races, creeds, and ethnicities. Also missed is how freeways run through South, Southwest, West, and Northwest Lubbock too so, why are those not racist constructs? Why are people in the newest areas wanting and waiting on a new freeway, an outer loop? So much of these ideas presented are solely constructs of victimhood that pretty much all this group advocates should be ignored. Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.Oil & gas rig count unchanged this week.Texas' Civilian Labor Force Exceeds 15.3 Million, unemployment rate remains at 4.0 percent.RIP: Comedy genius Bob Newhart who did his first standup in Houston.RIP: Childress-native, and legendary broadcaster, Lou Dobbs. According to an explosive new report, the new head of CNN is looking to make some significant changes in an effort to confront the increasing pressure coming from the digital media landscape. Bottom line? CNN can't afford its pricey anchors! A report from celebrity gossip magazine InTouch that was featured on Yahoo Entertainment News, suggests former Fox News host Chris Wallace (as well as others like Anderson Cooper) could be on the chopping block! Does this prove that Tucker Carlson and other big names like my former Fox News and Fox Business colleagues, including Lou Dobbs, Megyn Kelly, Dan Bongino, and myself, were smart to go it alone in a new digital media landscape? You know my answer to that. Join me for a live look at the quickly changing media landscape - plus find out more about a major new development in the Fani Willis case that could completely dissolve Fulton County's charges against Trump. In his book, “The Case to Impeach and Imprison Joe Biden,” former White House Stenographer Mike McCormick writes about Obama being the invisible hand behind all of Joe Biden's kickbacks. McCormick says he was also involved in Ukraine and has been covering it up ever since. He says Obama and Biden set up The Alliance for Prosperity reportedly to address the unaccompanied minor crisis, building cages at the southern border. In 2014, 15, and 16, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala each received $500 million, even though Honduras is a country of only 9 million people. Biden sent $500 million to then Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernandez, photographed with Joe Biden in the White House while smuggling drugs into America by the ton, aligned with the Cartels. Yet Joe Biden threw money at them by the hundreds of millions of dollars with Barack Obama's blessing. McCormick believes this is why we have an open border today under Cartel control. McCormick says Biden is clearly a criminal and proved it in Ukraine. And McCormick believes Biden committed treason in Honduras giving aid and comfort to our enemies, the Cartels. We're seeing the results of both of those activities today. Millions of taxpayer dollars have been given to criminals in Ukraine and our southern border is now owned by the Cartels. McCormick says that's all Joe Biden and Barack Obama. SERIES 2 EPISODE 104: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) Trump made another threat of political violence and terrorism and once again escaped being treated like any other terrorist or criminal trying to blackmail the nation by promising mass death and destruction if he doesn't get his way. After attending the appeals court hearing on his "presidential immunity" nonsense, Trump said if the prosecution of him continued "It'll be bedlam in the country." But he hasn't engaged in insurrection. Not since Noon Eastern yesterday. Meanwhile his attorney, Judge Luttig's former law clerk, insisted that no, if he hadn't been impeached and removed from office, Trump could not be prosecuted for ordering Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival.  But he's not saying HE would CAUSE the bedlam. Besides the background drumbeat of Trumpist political violence, the point of the "presidential immunity" action is to stall. And the Just Security website has game-planned when this Jack Smith prosecution is likely to end. Two of the answers end within plenty of time, the third begins to brush up against an old favorite: the DOJ tradition of not acting within 60 days of an election. And speaking of oldies but goodies, Trump reverts to birtherism. This time his victim is Nikki Haley. And his own mother.  And just for laughs, it was in an 1814 book of witticisms that our ancestors first read "Every man who is his own lawyer, has a fool for a client." So guess who intends to deliver some of the closing arguments in his Business Fraud Trial case in New York tomorrow? Our resident Fool. B-Block (17:48) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: I knew there was a reason not to say anything about the "disappearance" of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin: his "minor medical procedure" was surgery for prostate cancer. And the ESPN/Big Sleeveless Pat/Aaron Rodgers/Jimmy Kimmel disaster escalates: Rodgers denies he implied anything about Kimmel, uses ESPN as a platform to spread vaccine disinformation, and attacks an ESPN VP who had been protecting his buddy's show. Like ESPN's Rush Limbaugh disaster 20 years ago, this will end in tears. (25:15) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORD: political and journalistic accounts mysteriously disappear on Ketamine Musk's site. Judge Judy makes a presidential endorsement. And Lou Dobbs, Tulsi Gabbard, Don Lemon and Jim Rome are too desperate to just stand in front of a mirror and do their new shows to an audience that cares. C-Block (31:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Since it's ESPN time, why not tell again the events of 32 years ago this month when I met the wonderful actress Elizabeth Montgomery on a flight, we became great friends, and she... helped me to launch the ESPN Radio Network?    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Two days before the RNC meeting later this month, Mike Lindell's team will join Turning Point USA to educate hundreds of clerks from around the country about going to paper ballots and hand counts. Lindell set up an infrastructure of 300,000 people on the ground ready to help secure our 2024 election. He's doing more than the RNC which has lost five elections in a row. Lindell says candidates should drop out of the GOP race and back Trump. The will of the people is clear. They can't lie and say Nikki Haley has more votes. Even Democrats want Trump back. They remember December 2019 when consumer confidence was the highest in history. Lindell says like Trump or not, you were living pretty darn good in the United States back then. Ronna McDaniel and the RNC had better get behind President Trump. He wonders what is her agenda and the reason she stayed on? The Supreme Court Justices see what's going on in our country. They know they need to make decisions based on our Constitution and keep politics out of it. Lindell expects a 9-0 opinion to keep Trump on the ballot. When FOX, Newsmax and Salem Media went silent after J6, Lindell set up his own platforms, Lindell TV and FrankSpeech. Lindell today announced the debut of his new show debuting Monday, “Lou Dobbs Tonight” weeknights at 7pm Eastern. Lindell and Lou announcing the show's first big interview is with our real President Donald Trump. Former House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes says as Congress faces the dilemma of reauthorizing FISA Section 702, members of Congress must decide how they're going to stop the corruption at the DOJ that is threatening not only the security of our elections but the Republican Party itself. Donald Trump is leading Biden in the national polls and they're trying to put him in jail with all the charges he's facing. The FBI used the FISA court to spy on a presidential candidate back in 2016. They used the counterintelligence division of the DOJ and FBI to surveil a President. The House should just pass short term CR's until they get the answers they want from the DOJ and FBI about targeting Donald Trump, about the invasion at the southern border. Nunes says the only solution to end the corruption of FISA is to have members of the House and Senate oversee the Executive and Judicial Branch. They won't like the embedded oversight but they can't be trusted. Tell them you'll fund them for 30 days until they get the information requested. Then decide whether to fund them for another 30 days. It's the only leverage the GOP has with a slim majority. We now know why so many former FBI and DOJ officials ended up working for Facebook and Twitter. They can use those opportunities to target Americans. What's worse, political activists within these large companies could gather information and share it with the intel community or a George Soros operation.
