Camille is an astrologer, musician, writer, civil servant from Washington, D.C. To her, Astrology is a marriage of the human condition with the cosmic condition. As above, so below. As below, so above. Over several years, she has seen hundreds of clients and has built a practice that celebrates that connection to the cosmos. Her consults are steeped in the soulful concepts & archetypal poetry of Evolutionary Astrology & are informed by the technical & traditional techniques of Hellenistic Astrology. Laura adds to Camille's body of work on Neptune & the Black condition. This episode is dedicated to Neptune - the God and Goddess of the sea, of dreams, and of imagination. Laura's hypothesis: Neptune is the illusion and belief that White is superior; when in reality, White People don't truly believe this. Whiteness is deception and theft. You do not steal from People of the Global Majority if they are culturally and economically poor. Neptune, depending on the natal position or by transit, can inflate someone's ideal of themselves. Throughout history, a group of people subjugated another group by casting a veil over them to make them believe they are less than. In reimagining Neptune, Neptune is seen as a malefic through the cis-hetero patriarchal white supremacist lens because Neptune is anti-capitalist. A Neptune transit can awaken someone to their true essence and in turn, reclaim their sovereignty and agency. ⏰ Timestamps ⏰ 00:22 Introducing Camille Michelle Gray and her interest in Neptune 5:19 Some facts about Neptune 7:04 Camille's Neptune significations 8:17 Laura's Neptune significations 8:32 Richard Tarnas' Neptune significations 12:36 Laura's Neptune hypothesis 13:36 Camille's work Neptune and the Black condition 18:36 Neptune and mythology 26:26 Neptune as assimilation 29:50 Neptune as psychedelics, plant medicines, and cultural appropriation of spiritual practices. 30:53 Neptune as Hollywood and Film 31:40 Neptune in Aries 34:47 John Randolph's chart - The Nottoway Plantation 38:38 Neptune in Aries historically 39:48 The Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 45:22 Neptune predictions for the moment 49:44 Ryan Coogler and Sinners 1:01:47 Beyonce and Cowboy Carter 1:04:28 Kendrick Lamar and the Superbowl 1:07:38 Camille's predictions for Neptune and politics 1:11:46 Saturn and Neptune in Aries 1:17:54 How to work with Camille Show Notes: Camille's Website Camille's Instagram Natal Chart & Transit Readings ORDER MY BOOK HOW TO MANIFEST Laura Chung Instagram Laura Chung's Website Laura Chung's Tik Tok YouTube Channel Awaken and Align Instagram Connect with Awaken and Align: If you enjoyed the podcast and you feel called, please share it, and tag me! Hello, and welcome to Entangled! The podcast where we explore the science of consciousness, the true nature of reality, and what it means to be a spiritual being having a human experience.I'm your host, Jordan Youkilis, and in this episode, I share my capstone paper. I wrote this essay to complete my Master of Arts in Consciousness & Human Potential at Maharishi International University last month. This paper is titled “Is Consciousness the Unified Field? Evidence for a New Paradigm of Reality”.The capstone prompt was “The Application of Maharishi Vedic Science to Solve a Problem in Society.” The final research paper explores practical outcomes of Maharishi Vedic Science — how the principles brought out by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi can practically address current problems, such as education, government, school violence, PTSD, striving from full human development, need for creativity, etc.In “Is Consciousness the Unified Field?”, I propose that the Vedic concept of the field of pure consciousness and the self-interacting field of modern string theory are one and the same. I first describe the history of our current paradigm of reality, one defined by materialism, reductionism, and determinism. I then highlight anomalous phenomena which do not fit the materialist paradigm, including the hard problem of consciousness, the paradoxes of quantum mechanics, quantum entanglement, the mystical experience, and higher states of consciousness.I then argue that consciousness is fundamental, and that matter is the illusion. Next, I explain how these anomalous phenomenon can be explained by a consciousness-based paradigm of reality as proposed by Maharishi Vedic Science. I conclude with thoughts on what this paradigm shift in our understanding of ultimate reality could mean for the future of humanity. If you enjoy this essay and are interested in learning more about Maharishi Vedic Science, check out the rest of the miniseries in Entangled episodes 47-53 and 82.Music from the show is available on the Spotify playlist “Entangled – The Vibes”. We LOVE to hear from you! You can text us feedback + suggested episode topics here.In this episode of the Astrology Hub Podcast, Amanda Pua Walsh sits down with renowned astrologer, author, and philosopher Richard Tarnas. Known for his groundbreaking works, The Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos and Psyche, Rick shares insights on astrology's gifts and challenges, its role in shaping individual and collective understanding, and its future amid technological advancements. This intimate conversation highlights his profound wisdom and humility, offering listeners a glimpse into his unique approach to astrology and life. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Marjorie Woollacott was a scientist with a materialist worldview when she, in her 30s, had a spiritually transformative experience. Her heart opened. There was a feeling of total peace and equanimity. She felt at home. After the experience, Woollacott gradually reoriented her research and teaching in physiology and neuroscience towards the nonphysical human experience. Many of her 200 peer reviewed scientific articles are about the effects of meditation. “When we meditate, we begin to let go of our feeling of smallness and separateness to a feeling of interconnectedness with everything else in the world”, Marjorie says. Later, she began looking more fully into the nature of consciousness. In that context, she wants to highlight two scientists-philosophers in particular, Bernardo Kastrup and Federico Faggin (the inventor of the microprocessor). “They show us scientifically why seeing consciousness as fundamental is essential to our understanding of the universe.” Woollacott is co-editor of an anthology that is fresh on the shelves as we record this episode, The Playful Universe. It is about meaningful coincidences, something psychology giant Carl Jung called synchronicities. Cultural historian and archetypal cosmologist Richard Tarnas, who has written the introduction to the book, defines synchronicities like this: observed coincidences, in which two or more independent events, having no apparent causal connection, nevertheless seem to form a meaningful pattern in our lives. Synchronicities are often seemingly trivial. It could be something quotidian you haven't thought about in 20 years, but when you do, that same thing suddenly appears all around you; in newspapers, signs, things you hear. Another contributor to the anthology, Jungian psychologist and mythologist Roderick Main, describes the evolution of our human understanding of the universe as having gone from enchantment to disenchantment (the scientific revolution) to reenchantment, which is happening now. “Life is still mysterious.” How can synchronicities happen? In Marjorie Woollacott's view, we are points of consciousness within the universal consciousness, and we are all entangled and co-creating this universe. “Within that playful entanglement, we draw the situations to ourselves that are most important for the unfolding of our paths in this universe.” She also points out that our beliefs create our reality, which means that what we pay attention to in our lives is what we allow to unfold. So, how should we act on synchronicities? “Value them highly and explore them.” Marjorie Woollacott believes we have some kind of guidance from the nonphysical reality. She refers to research she has done on mediumship, where mediums say they are in contact with people from “the other side”. “I saw the incredibly strong evidence about these people communicating with us, telling us things we didn't know that turned out to be true, and that could help us.” This is documented in peer reviewed papers, Many feel – and claim – that this world is unfair, and not only to themselves but to millions. “I believe it's a fundamental misunderstanding”, Marjorie says. “But we all have these thoughts. We are both a soul with infinite awareness and a tiny point of awareness. And the tiny point, where our ego resides, is always making judgments about what's pleasurable, what's painful, what causes suffering, and what causes expansion. And from that point of view, yeah, things can be really difficult.” “But if we can take the view of the whole, which is our essence, there is probably something we can learn from that moment of pain that will move us forward in our expansion of knowing who we are.” Marjorie's website The Playful Universe Bio at AAPS Bio at Galileo Commission

To honour the milestone 50th episode, I'm joined by Richard Tarnas, a renowned historian and archetypal cosmologist. August 8th is the peak of the astrological event known as the Lion's Gate Portal. The Sun (in Leo) aligns with Sirius, Orion's Belt, and Earth. Simultaneously, Orion's Belt aligns with the Pyramids of Giza. Ancient Egyptians revered Sirius, the “spiritual star,” and associated it with gods Osiris and Sopdet. Each year the rising of Sirius marked the flooding of the Nile. As author of The Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos and Psyche, Richard is the ideal guest to mark the occasion. He is the founding director of the graduate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He teaches courses in the history of ideas, archetypal studies, depth psychology, and religious evolution. For ten years he lived and worked at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, studying with the likes of Stanislav Grof, Joseph Campbell, and James Hillman, later serving as Esalen's director of programs and education. In re-enchanting the Western worldview, Richard traces the historical and cultural roots of the modern mind. Although much was gained, much was lost, including the ensoulment of the cosmos, and a sense of participation with higher forms of intelligence. Is civilisation experiencing a mythological fall from grace due to human hubris? Is global chaos a symbolic manifestation of humanity's descent into the underworld? How can a new worldview support spiritual transformation, sense-making, and flourishing on a global scale? Before we begin, one more special announcement: Richard is one of a number of contributing authors, including myself, for the new volume by the Academy for the Advancement of Postmaterialist Sciences: The Playful Universe: Synchronicity and the Nature of Consciousness. The book is released late August, with an online symposium scheduled for the 26th or 27th September. Resources Richard's Website. Episode 7 In this podcast, professional astrologers Chani Nicholas, Thea Anderson, and Eliza Robertson look to the sky to make sense of what's happening here on Earth. This episode brings you into the astrological group chat to talk through how the recent eclipses and Jupiter–Uranus conjunction landed IRL. From the ongoing student protests (and violent backlash) to the discord surrounding the exorbitant Met Gala, we look at how these astrological events manifested in the collective. Plus, we give you a preview of what's coming next. It's practical. It's chatty. And it grounds the current astrology in everyday life. Some podcast apps may not display links from our show notes (see below) properly, so we have included a list of links at the end of this description. * Archetypal astrology is an approach influenced by Jungian and transpersonal psychology that studies the connection between the changing positions of the planets in the solar system and archetypal patterns in human experience and history. The evidence of consistent correlations between planetary alignments and world events, as seen through the lens of archetypal astrology, can provide us with an invaluable larger context for our time. * In this episode, CIIS Professor Emeritus and cultural historian Richard Tarnas provides an in-depth overview of what's happening with the planets now, helping us become more conscious of the deep unconscious, less like puppets and more like co-creative participants in relation to the archetypal powers within and around us to better understand the profound drama currently facing the Earth community. * This episode was recorded during a live online event on February 8th, 2024. In this episode, Joe and Kyle are honored to welcome back Stanislav and Brigitte Grof: Stan being the person who kickstarted their interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness, breathwork, and this podcast; and Brigitte: his other half, co-creator of Grof® Legacy Training, and support system (and often, voice) since his stroke a few years back. They discuss the recently released Stanislav Grof, LSD Pioneer: From Pharmacology to Archetypes, which Brigitte assembled in honor of Stan's 90th birthday. It celebrates his life's work in pioneering research into non-ordinary states of consciousness and transpersonal psychology, and features an extended interview with Stan; testimonials from a number of legends in the psychedelic and psychological fields like Jack Kornfield, Rupert Sheldrake, Richard Tarnas, and Fritjof Capra; and a large photo album of rarely seen pictures, including Stan doing his first experiments with LSD. And they talk about so much more: The evolution of LSD psychotherapy as Stan realized people's experiences were coming from the psyche rather than any pharmacology; why he started practicing and teaching breathwork; Stan's love of treasure hunts; how the perinatal matrices were born and how each corresponds to astrology and religious archetypes; why experience in breathwork can be so beneficial to better psychedelic experiences and facilitation; why integration is equally as important as the experience; and an argument to take archetypal astrology more seriously – that there is often a synchronicity that can't be denied between these archetypes, events, and experiences. "Raamat, mille käsitlusobjektiks on õhtumaa vaimu evolutsioon, püstitab erakordseid nõudmisi nii lugejale kui ka autorile, kuna see nõuab meilt sageli radikaalselt teistsuguste vaatepunktide omaksvõtmist. Selline raamat vajab mõningast intellektuaalset paindlikkust – vastuvõtlikku metafüüsilist kujutlusvõimet, suutlikkust näha maailma läbi teiste ajastute meeste ja naiste silmade. Mingis mõttes nõuab see alustamist tühjalt lehelt, asjade vaatamist ilma juba olemasolevate arusaamade toeta – või koormata," kirjutab Richard Tarnas "Õhtumaa vaimu passiooni" sissejuhatuses. "Tähenduse teejuhtide" 212. saates tulebki juttu Richard Tarnase raamatust, mis ilmus Edmund Burke'i Seltsi raamatusarjas selle suve lõpus.

Esimest korda sattus see mulle pihku 2019. aasta kevadel. Sama aasta sügisel ja järgneva aasta kevadel andis see selgroo mu kahele "Oluliste raamatute" sarja kuuluvale kursusele EBS-is – "Vormiv vastasseis" [3] oli pühendatud Henri Bergsoni [4] "Loovale evolutsioonile" ja "Romantiline reaktsioon" [5] Johann Wolfgang Goethe [6] "Faustile".2021. aasta kevadel oli mul tänuväärne võimalus Tarnase endaga vestelda. Meie intervjuu "Kõik hingab koos" [7] ilmus Tähenduse teejuhtide 9. numbris ning see andis pealkirja ka meie sel suvel ilmunud kogumikule [8], mis võtab ühtede kaante vahele kokku lehe kahel esimesel hooajal ilmunud intervjuud. Sama aasta sügisel pidas Richard Tarnas külalisloengu EBS-i kursusel "Hinge kood" [9]. Umbes sel ajal salvestasime Siim Lille ja Mihkel Kunnusega "Õhtumaa vaimu passioonile" pühendatud vestlusringi "Monoliitse mõtlemise miinused" [10].Sel suvel ilmus "Õhtumaa vaimu passioon" Tanel Perni [11] suurepärases tõlkes ka eesti keeles. Septembri lõpus rääkisime Tarnase raamatust Kuku Raadios Marek Strandbergiga [12]. Kuivõrd tänases vestluses osaleb Mareki kõrval luterlik pastor Arne Hiob, siis on mul plaan keskenduda eelkõige reformatsiooni rollile õhtumaa vaimu evolutsioonis. "Reformatsiooni ainukordne paradoks seisneb selle olemuslikus ambivalentsuses, kuna see kujutas endast ühtaegu konservatiivset usulist reaktsiooni ja radikaalset libertaarset revolutsiooni," kirjutab Richard Tarnas.Peatse kohtumiseni!H.——————————————[1] https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...[2] https://www.apollo.ee/ohtumaa-vaimu-p...[3] https://youtu.be/U1fxxC0H5TA?si=UFelW...[4] https://youtu.be/ZSxFv2fb9GQ?si=VzC64...[5] https://youtu.be/C-3hMuebUrw?si=1Lv8F...[6] https://www.youtube.com/live/f_x4TEba...[7] https://teejuhid.postimees.ee/7253438... Hello and welcome to Entangled! The podcast where we explore the science of consciousness, the true nature of reality, and what it means to be a spiritual being having a human experience. I'm your host Jordan Youkilis, and today I'm joined by my friend Kate Kettelkamp. Kate is the Founder of Kronos Astrology and is currently enrolled as a Doctoral candidate in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies. In this conversation, Kate discusses her interest in imagination and the concept of lost or negative imagination. We consider the Hermetic principle of “As above, so below”. Kate then discusses astrology as a timekeeping technique. From there, we discuss the planet Saturn, a planetary body which carries charge for many individuals. We next discuss the process of enlightenment before diving into a discussion of natal charts. Next, we examine Kate's natal chart, with a focus on her 3rd and 9th houses as well as her sun, moon, and rising signs. We then consider psychedelics and discuss the integration of psychedelic experiences through modalities such as astrology and meditation. Then, we discuss experiences of epiphany while in altered states of consciousness and concepts including ‘maya', the ‘dark night of the soul', and ‘descent into the underworld'. From there, we review my natal chart, touching on the constellation of Capricorn and the planet Mercury or Hermes. We next consider whether the moon could be artificial, the idea of predictive programming, and the impact of apocalyptic literature. From there, we discuss extraterrestrials and our ongoing astrological shift from Pisces into Aquarius. Kate then provides a brief history of astrological philosophy and highlights that “millionaires don't work with astrologers, but billionaires do”. Kate next highlights major upcoming astrological transitions and the hope that in the Age of Aquarius, Saturn will relive humanity with an unveiling of reality. We end the conversation with an optimistic vision for the future. This Outro is called Astrology, Alchemy, & Theurgy. Outros available for this and all episodes at entangledpodcast.substack.com. In this thought-provoking episode, we delve into a myriad of topics ranging from the complexities of curatorial practice in art to the secular study of religion. Nico Sarian guides us through an intellectual journey that stretches from the art scene in Moscow to the academic corridors of the University of Toronto, touching on astrology, Zen Buddhism, and the nature of suffering along the way. Prepare for a multi-layered discussion that challenges conventional wisdom and explores the intersections of art, religion, and culture. Join the awesome whatsapp community that Nico is helping to build Early Life and Academic Background Nico Sarian began his career journey after completing high school and entering the world of fashion. Intrigued by the art world, he transitioned into academia due to a spiritual crisis. Nico studied art history and philosophy at King's College in London, and this led to work as an art curator in Moscow. Defining a Curator According to Nico, the role of a curator involves managing a triangle between works of art, the public, and the space or architecture. Failing to manage all three elements would reduce a curator to merely a critic. The role of a curator is likened to that of a priest in that they serve as a mediator between these elements. Evolution into Religious Studies Nico later began teaching at a British art college in Moscow, which fueled his interest in theory, aesthetics, and teaching. After discovering the field of religious studies, he started studying it in a secular context at the University of Toronto. Influence of Russian Culture Nico spent considerable time in Russia and was in a relationship with a Russian woman for four to five years. He studied the Russian language to immerse himself fully in the culture, stating that Russia felt like another planet to him. Esoteric Studies Nico discussed various aspects of astrology, Zen Buddhism, and Shintoism. He mentioned Richard Tarnas as a researcher who places astrology in a historical context and contrasts Vedic and Western astrology. The demotion of Pluto to an asteroid sparked a debate about its relevance in modern astrology and contemporary life. The Philosophical Angle Nico is a critic of modernity and holds a deep academic viewpoint. His questioning of our modern belief systems was influenced by philosophers like Bruno Latour, who claimed, “We have never been modern.” Questioning Religion and Spirituality Nico wrestles with the concept of secularism in religious studies. His inability to give a straight answer to whether he believes in God stems from his view that the term 'secular' is an illusion. Life Philosophy Nico argues that suffering is not a problem; rather, it's the inability to deal with suffering that becomes the problem. He spent three years studying Sanskrit and used the term “Duhka” to discuss the concept of suffering. Future Directions Nico mentioned the idea of creating an infinite discussion board that incorporates various perspectives, aiming to foster and create symbolic capital. The episode delved into Nico's multifaceted life journey, from art and fashion to philosophy and religious studies. He provided a comprehensive view of how different disciplines intersect and inform each other, offering a critique of modernity along the way.

If you are interested in astrology, then this episode is for you. After studying archetypal astrology with Rick Tarnas last semester for my PhD, I have become fascinated with planetary archetypes, and wish to convey the scientific substance of astrology to as many people as possible. Astrology isn't something you "believe in" - that's like saying you "believe" the Earth is round. We get into this in the podcast. My guest today is the archetypal astrologer Dr Renn Butler, who studied with Stanislav Grof and Richard Tarnas at the Esalen Institute in California beginning in 1980, certifying as a Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator in 1989, and recertifying in Grof® Breathwork in 2023. We also talk about Stan Grof's work and his collaboration with Tarnas on the perinatal matrices.Renn offers workshops in British Columbia and abroad, as well as archetypal astrology consultations with clients around the world. I had a session with him this year and could not recommend him highly enough!! Renn's first book, Pathways to Wholeness, is about astrology and psychedelic experiences, was published in 2014, followed by The Archetypal Universe in 2018, which focuses on dreams, and The Astrology of Love and Relationships in 2022, which is about relationships. Renn received his PhD in Archetypal Astrology and Transpersonal Psychology from Ubiquity University in 2022, and has also worked part time as a health care worker with physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged adults for over thirty years and lives in Victoria, B.C.For more information, please go to his website at the link below -->www.rennbutler.comIf you are interested in doing one of his courses, see the links below -->22-week course in Archetypal and Holotropic Astrology (starts September 30th 2023)www.rennbutler.com/online-courses Our 8-week course in Grof Studies (starts October 1 2023)www.grofstudies.com/courses ANN – Archetypal News Networkhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPhz4c6KHp5LP81F-Ky-2sg Grof Legacy Training Internationalhttps://grof-legacy-training.com/ ........................................................................For anything related to me, please go to https://www.arabellathais.com

This interview with Becca Tarnas was recorded during the 2023 NORWAC gathering. I remember the first time Becca spoke at the conference years ago. Happy to see her evolution as a speaker over the years. I was especially engrossed with her lecture called: "Astrology and Psychedelics: A Symbiotic Relationship Is there a connection between astrology and psychedelics? At Esalen Institute in the mid-1970s, Stanislav Grof and his doctoral student Richard Tarnas were trying to solve the mystery of the inter- and intra-individual variability of LSD sessions. The radical suggestion that astrology might be the answer opened up a vast new domain of research. As the biographer of Grof, archetypal astrologer Becca Tarnas is uniquely positioned to present on this topic of the mutually illuminating relationship between psychedelics and astrology." dr richard tarnas presents a (slightly) more level-headed explanation of astrology as archetypal guidelines, and how to make sense of the cosmos without shaping your life around them. but first, ed dames & co remote viewed bigfoot as a carbon-converting projector obelisk floating in space, but it's also not a projector obelisk floating in space, or aliens put the projector obelisk there/not there in space

Bioneers: Revolution From the Heart of Nature | Bioneers Radio Series
The world has entered a period of radical creative destruction — of breakdown and breakthrough. The very fate of human civilization hangs in the balance. Where have we gone so wrong? Could it be our cosmology itself, our view of our place in the natural and cosmic order? As author Richard Tarnas observes, “World views create worlds.” Is a fundamental transformation of our civilization's world view the gateway to our survival and flourishing as a species? In this Bioneers audio special, we take an experiential journey into cosmology, consciousness and change, with: Chief Oren Lyons, Native American leader from the Onondaga Nation of the Iroquois Confederacy; Richard Tarnas, the author of Cosmos and Psyche: Intimations of a New World View; and featuring music from Shaman's Dream and Blue Tech.
