The BlackBerry movie was shot in Canada by a bunch of guys from Canada (Matt Johnson, Matthew Miller and DOP: Jared Raap) with help from the Canadian taxpayer about the Canadian company Research in Motion (RIM) that invented one of the first smartphones; the BlackBerry. Its Friday; the first one in November and we had a lot of fun stuff to talk about and discuss as we get ready for the weekend! Vic Carucci made his weekly appearance to talk Bills/Seahawks this Sunday in Orchard Park, as well as Chris Krieger from WNY Heroes; and we had some topics such as: being named in lawsuits, Roll Up The Rim, a funny happening Rob ran into while trying to buy a used car AND did you lie about who you voted for to your spouse? Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Joining us from WNY Heros, was co-founder Chris Krieger who is also a great friend of the program here. He told us about his event tonight which Rob is hosting from 7-10, virtually, on WNYHeroes.org! The annual benefit takes place to support veterans in their efforts in regular everyday life and helping them adjust to those conditions; as well as help them cope with trauma in unique ways. This gala is one of those ways. We talked about a Roll Up The Rim slip that Rob found in his desk from Tim Hortons which he believes is about 3 years old. His challenge was to go to a T.H.'s restaurant at some point yesterday and we revealed what happened on TODAYS show. Will Bull get 'one free donut' from Rob off of his nasty, aged Roll Up The Rim lip paper-slip. Vic Carucci stopped in for his weekly Bills football segment to discuss ALL of the latest regarding the team, its recent games and upcoming matchup! Vic broke down what he saw in the Bills big divisional win here at home over the Pats this past Sunday and some of the injuries and player updates from the week. He also had a chance to get into this weeks big-time showdown at Bills Stadium when the 6-1 Seahawks come to town to offensively combat the Bills! How does he see this game going and what needs to happen for a Bills win? He got into all of it with us as he does every Friday. Have you ever been named in a lawsuit? Not sued by someone, or sued someone else, but have you ever been secondarily 'named' in a lawsuit in which you were not one of the main participants? Rob has before and he shared the story in a very discreet manner, to protect the innocent, yet it was still FASCINATING! We took some of you texts as well and discussed how crazy it would be to get named in a 'suit. ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Thanks for checking out the C100 Mornings podcast with JC, Peter, and Erin (in for melody Rose). Here’s what you’ll find on the latest episode: There might be a perfectly good reason as why this is happening, why friends just won't commit to getting together for a simple coffee! It's near impossible to link up for a quick catch up. Which one are you in this relationship? For example, JC is the one who commits. Erin? She never commits. Peter literally can't PAY people to listen to him. Seriously, he's paying carpenters to work on his house and they listen to country music all day long while they work. Should it bother Peter as much as it does and can you can come up with a solution for him, because he doesn't have one! Also, you waited too long! When you wait to long to bring things up, you know, little things in relationships, or someone that owes you $20 and never pays you back, OR coworkers that you WORK beside for several years, but somehow you never got their name? When were you guilty of waiting too long? On Trending, how people are feeling about the new Tim’s Roll Up The Rim contest, and our first look at the new Ellen Page doc that puts Nova Scotia in an unfortunate racism spotlight. And on $1000 Minute, it would help if you knew a thing or two about musicals and disasters. Enjoy the pod and then make plans to listen to the show every weekday morning on C100.

This year's Roll Up the Rim will see Tim Horton's change the format of the iconic game. As the company looks to combat criticism over waste, they will be utilizing their app instead of giving away an unnecessary amount of non-recyclable cups. GUEST: Marc Gordon, The Customer Experience Expert
After more than three decades in the making, Tim Hortons said its iconic roll-up-the-rim-to-win contest will undergo a major revamp next year after sales fell in the latest quarter, and the retailer faces backlash from environmentalists over its disposable cups. A big part of refreshing the promotion that runs annually from February to April will be to move it online, according to its parent company Restaurant Brands International Inc. But, how will customers react to a shift away from rolling up the rim of a physical cup to win a prize? Ron Buist is the former marketing director for Tim Hortons, and during his time with the company he created the iconic Roll Up the Rim contest in 1980's. Is it time for Tim Hortons to change their Roll Up The Rim contest by making it more environmentally friendly?Guest: Sylvain Charlebois, professor and researcher in food distribution and policy, Dean of the Rowe School of Business at Dalhousie University -A story went viral this week about a supposed brawl between hockey parents in Simcoe. While the situation wasn't actually as dramatic as was initially reported, the phenomenon of angry sports parents isn't unusual, so this wasn't too difficult to believe. Guest: Todd Miller, former president of Hockey Calgary, author of "Moron: The Behind The Scenes Story of Minor Hockey"- A 19-year-old man has been charged with stunt driving after police say they clocked him going 246 km/h on Highway 403 in Mississauga. Despite the sheer recklessness shown in this situation, police haven't determined whether or not the driver will be facing criminal charges. Scott asks callers for their opinion on why this driver and others like him don't face more severe penalties.
