Forget skipping lattes—Amber Frankhuizen is here to talk about real financial freedom (and why you should still enjoy your matcha). Michelle and Amber get real about building wealth, dismantling money myths, and why women must step up and own their financial power. Get the tea on overspending traps, pricing your work with confidence, and why making more money isn't just about luxury—it's about impact. Relearn what true wealth means as they dive into media literacy, self-care, and finding the rituals that help you feel your best self. Her LinkedIn bio says she's “the Founder, CEO & Chief Strategist at AFMKTG,” which is true, but it's not the whole truth. (And honestly, it's a little boring.) The reality is, Amber founded her award-winning creative agency, AFMKTG, on an ironing board, figuring out how to build a profitable business out of nothing after jumping from the corporate ladder without a plan or a parachute. Her experience in building her own business, managing nearly a half-billion dollars in real estate assets, and being a mentor and coach for 10+ years has culminated in the birth of the Old Money Podcast. Amber is bold, straight up and direct - she has provocative views on business and a tongue-in-cheek approach that keeps her team and clients on their toes. ------------------------ In today's episode, we cover the following: Inside the Old Money Podcast Breaking generational money cycles Amber's debt recovery plan Spending vs. overspending How to protect your energy Hypnosis, neurofeedback and self-care Inside our morning routines and rituals Intentional media consumption Being smart consumers The power of consistency ----------------------- RESOURCES: Episode 94: Life According to Agency Owner Amber Frankhuizen Tune into Old Money Podcast Follow hypnotist @JuliaBalto on Instagram ----------------------- GUEST INFO: To learn more about Amber and the Old Money Podcast, follow her on Instagram at @AFMKTG, @AmberInCalifornia, and @OldMoneyPodcast and on TikTok @OldMoneyPodcast, and visit her websites at AFMKTG.com and OldMoneyPodcast.com. It's a cult of one dynamic almost too frightful for this show. When your very own caregiver poisons, manipulates, exploits, and lies to you for personal gain... it's the cult of Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome, a nightmare phenomenon made internationally famous by the notorious (iconic?) Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a victim of child medical abuse, who played a role in the murder of her cult leader of one, aka, her very own mother. To explore the many culty angles of this week's unique subject, host Amanda is joined by novelist and investigative podcaster Andrea Dunlop, whose show Nobody Should Believe Me was inspired by her very close personal connection to the "cult" of Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome. On this episode of the Growing with Purpose podcast, host Paul Spiegelman speaks with Beck Sydow, the Founder of HumanKind Business Leaders, and former CEO of StickerGiant. Beck's passion is bringing people-hearted and business-minded leadership beliefs to individuals, teams, and organizations. A self-proclaimed “business geek” as well as a longtime mindfulness practitioner, Beck's aim is to help people understand the importance of weaving together business and leadership, and to do so by showing up to work as their full selves. And Beck finds that sharing their personal story is a helpful illustration of this belief. Beck grew up in an evangelical christian household, received a bachelor's degree from Liberty University, a large evangelical school, and later gained one of their master's degrees from Naropa University, a buddhist-inspired school. Beck is also same sex attracted and gender nonbinary, a component of their identity that has taken time to fully embrace and share with others, including their colleagues at different organizations, and family. And although the road has not always felt smooth, Beck acknowledges that in order for us as leaders to promise a culture of acceptance, we have to be willing to remove our own masks and show up as our full selves. Tune into this episode to hear Beck and Paul discuss mindfulness in the workplace, embracing one's complete self, and not being afraid to share our true selves with the ones we care about the most.

Today is September 30 and it's International Podcast Day, an international celebration of the power of podcasts! In this episode, Andrew talks about the history of our podcast, and then he re-shares the stories from 2017 until today on a little walk down memory. There are so many tips and tricks for small business across the episodes over the years, and we wanted to take a moment highlight how our show has changed along with the changing business climate. StickerGiant's podcast Stickers on the Mic started in 2017 as Sticker Stories and then spent two seasons under that moniker before we decided to rebrand the show to help differentiate it a bit and also own the brand name for the show. Since 2017, we've told 120 stories of entrepreneurs who took their passion and turned it into a growing business. This adds up to real awareness and actual business! This celebration is a great opportunity to connect with fellow podcasters, podcast listeners, podcast enthusiasts, and leaders in the podcasting industry. Help spread the word by telling your friends, sharing the celebration on your podcasts and social media feeds, and using #InternationalPodcastDay. We are excited to join this year, and we will help keep the celebration going year after year.

We're kicking off season two with a special episode to celebrate National Sticker Day. “One of the bigger challenges for founder entrepreneurs is letting go of the levers, handing the levers over…” Speaking with John Fischer, CEO of StickerGiant was a contrast with many other interviews I’ve had with successful entrepreneurs who are, perhaps, less deliberate. John manages StickerGiant with “Open Book Management,” and it’s not a “phase” for StickerGiant. It’s the way the company operates, generating 20% growth year over year and a dominant and growing position in their very competitive niche. In this interview, John and I discuss how he manages the business driven by metrics, goals and reports, while keeping the culture fun and dynamic.

He loves brand management and takes pride in the StickerGiant personality he helps manage and control. He also manages and oversees all Paid Search and Digital Advertising. Jesse created #NationalStickerDay, which is on January 13th annually, and came up with the whacky idea of Saul the #LargestStickerBall who is now a Guinness World Record. This Public Relations campaign brought a lot of notoriety to StickerGiant including mentions in ABC News across 14 major US Cities, an appearance on 9NEWS KUSA in studio, a joke on Late Night with Seth Myers and the pending launch of the record in the Guinness World Records Book this Fall 2018. Welcome to the second episode of Sticker Stories, our podcast. This week's show is all about entrepreneurship, focusing on Founder's Stories, and we have an extra-special visitor on the show to tell us his story. Our guest will be John Fischer, the StickerGiant himself, and he will share with us the early days of this business and how it's become the company it is today. At the end of this post, we'll provide resources for budding entrepreneurs, and we'll preview some of the awesome entrepreneurial activity that we support worldwide--it's going to be a full show.
In our first full-length episode we talk about Delighting Customers, and some of the ways that we do it here at StickerGiant, whether it's our shipping camera photos or super-fun referral program. We also bring in some customer examples, and along the way take a deep dive into sticker sheets. Today's Top of Mind was all about the last apps we used and bought.
Welcome to the trailer of StickerGiant's podcast Sticker Stories. Meet Andrew and Hamish, the hosts of the show, and get a preview of the awesome small businesses that market their companies with stickers. Also, since it's National Doughnut Day, we share a fun die cut sticker that's in the shape of a doughnut. Today’s music was Cha Cappella from Jimmy Fontanez and My Rollercoaster from Kimya Dawson.
This is a song that a friend of ours wrote. It's whimsical and fun, and eminently dance-able. When we need a pick-me-up around the office, you can be sure this is cranked to 11.
