After the UPLF coaching ended I registered for the Next Level podcasting coaching program that centered on revenue generation and only three weeks into the program, I provided sponsorship services to an author that invested in my 30-day package thus I earned revenue from the Next Level course before I completed the program.I'm here to tell you that Doug Sandler and Strickland Bonner are two of the best in the podcast business and all you have to do is invest in yourself, follow their model and you will be on your way. In this episode Doug and Strick tackle questions about: When to know you're talking too much on your podcast, as opposed to your guest. How do you reach the people you are trying to reach when you launch a show? When you first launch, how do you gauge success without constantly checking numbers and worrying about how you sound? How do you get the results you want from your call to action or other tools to monetize your podcast? Key Takeaways: Your guest should be talking at least twice as much as you are. Figure out where the people are that are most in need of your services and introduce them to what you have to offer, however it makes sense for you. Resist the temptation to check your numbers and just keep doing your thing, and listen to yourself with an objective ear. About Doug and Strick Doug Sandler and Strickland Bonner have been friends for more than 20 years. They share a common passion for exemplary customer service, which begins with becoming fast friends with pretty much everyone they meet! Going above and beyond has always been their key to business success and both have spent their careers over-delivering in a world plagued by mediocre service. As podcasters and hosts of the wildly popular Nice Guys on Business Podcast, Doug and Strick have created and produced more than 800 episodes and in November of 2017 achieved one heck of a milestone, crossing over the 1 million downloads mark. As their client and their friend, I can honestly say, no one does relationship like these guys and I’m thrilled to have them as guests on my show! Buckle up – whenever you are with them, it’s bound to be one hell of a ride! In this episode Virginia and the Nice Guys discuss: How creating authentic relationships creates the foundation for an amazing business! Key Takeaways: Be an ACTUAL person, not a “persona” Turn the people you meet into your FRIENDS! Become an authentic conversationalist – listen and learn! When you are trying to connect, see what you can do for others FIRST You might not know how the “money thing” is going to work at first, so be open to exploring options with your prospects! The loudest prospect is not always the best customer!
