John Ondrasik is standing up for Israeli hostages in the best way he knows how. Having written and performed songs with strong social messages over the last several decades, he is responding to the horrors of Hamas' October 7th attacks by rewriting the words to his hit song “Superman (It's Not Easy)”. Ondrasik's revised lyrics turn pain into resilience, but why aren't other artists speaking out? Ondrasik has sung about 9/11, about Afghanistan, about Ukraine, and about terror attacks in Israel. But he is almost alone in the music industry. Why are artists so afraid to do the right thing, and stand against terrorism? John Ondrasik is a Grammy-Award nominated singer-songwriter who has spent the last several decades writing deeply personal songs with strong social messages in six studio albums featured in over 350 films, TV shows, and advertisements under his hockey moniker, Five for Fighting. Most recently, John has been using his platform to advocate for Israel and denounce the holding of Israeli hostages and the Oct. 7th attacks by the terrorist group Hamas. He has recently updated the words of his song Superman to highlight Israeli hostage Alon Ohel, and the other hostages still held by Hamas.Read the transcript here.Subscribe to our Substack here.Listen to Superman here.

I had one of the best days of my radio career: I got to speak with one of my favorite musical artists of all time - John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting. His albums Slice and Bookmarks are two of my favorite albums ever, and "Superman (It's Not Easy) is my favorite song of all time. I was a Superman fan from a young age, so naturally, the song resonated with me because of that. My dad would rock me to sleep to the song most nights. I'll forever connect the song with my dad and I growing up. Over the years, the song has taken many forms for me, and it has gotten me through some hard times. Townsquare Spotlight w/ John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting Hence why it was an honor to speak with John Ondrasik this weekend. John and I talk about his latest "Music Matters Challenge" in conjunction with Music in Our Schools Month. We also talk about how John is no stranger to writing songs with strong social messages. His latest single "OK" dives into the catastrophes happening in Israel. John shares accounts of his recent visit to Israel and performing for refugees. Lastly, we talk of the legacy songs like "Superman (It's Not Easy)" and "100 Years" have had on the social consciousness. Catching Up w/ GRAMMY Nominated Five For Fighting In the two decades since Five for Fighting's first major single, “Superman (It's Not Easy),” hit the stratosphere, Five For Fighting (aka John Ondrasik), has released six studio LPs, including the platinum-certified “America Town” and “The Battle for Everything;” and the top-10 charting “Two Lights,” along with an EP and live albums. A post 9-11 anthem, Ondrasik performed “Superman (It's Not Easy),” at the 2001 Concert for New York, a benefit show at Madison Square Garden that honored first responders and the fallen about a month after the tragic September 11th attacks. Ondrasik has penned major hits, including the chart-topping “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” “Chances,” “World,” and “Easy Tonight,” which have earned tens of millions of streams and placed him as a top-10 Hot Adult Contemporary artist for the 2000s. The reflective “100 Years” has joined “Superman (It's Not Easy)” as part of the American Songbook and continues to stand the test of time. Five For Fighting's music has also been featured in more than 350 films, television shows, and commercials, including the Oscar-winning “The Blind Side,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “The Sopranos,” and the CBS drama, “Code Black.” For more information visit: www.fiveforfighting.com. Five For Fighting's "Music Matters Challenge" for Music in Our Schools Month Tying in with "Music In Our Schools Month,"GRAMMY® nominated John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting and The Tullman Family Office, through its operational philanthropic wing Tullman Community Ventures, announce the “Music Matters Challenge,” which launched on March 26, and is running through April 30; with the Grand Prize winners to be announced on May 14. The national online music challenge asks Americans to create an original rendition of the song “Let Music Fill My World,” a song recorded and written by Five For Fighting's John Ondrasik and students of the Farragut Career Academy in Chicago, Illinois; while sharing their own story of a time where music greatly impacted them, changed their life, or moved them to where they remember that story today. The challenge is designed to spotlight the magic of music and bring awareness to the generational impact of removing music from schools. To enter the contest, visit: www.letmusicfillmyworld.com. Let Music Fill My World Let Music Fill My World The “Music Matters Challenge” is hosted by “Let Music Fill My World,” an organization founded by The Tullman Family Office, and is on a mission to ensure that every child in America has access to music education in their schools. Two Grand Prize winners will be awarded – one for individual entries: $10,000 in cash, plus the opportunity to participate in selecting a music teacher for an under-resourced school to receive a salary of up to $300,000 for three years; and one for school entries, where the winning school receives a $25,000 school grant. Let Music Fill MY World Let Music Fill MY World “Let Music Fill My World” was created to ensure every child in America has access to music education in their schools with efforts to put the mission in action by Placing Music Teachers in Schools - every year, the Tullman Family Office will fund at least one full-time music education teacher in a school in America that does not have one, for a three-year salary up to $300k. Maximizing Fundraising for Music Education Nationwide by paving a path for significant fundraising opportunities through concerts and other artistic ventures with iconic artists to increase nonprofit funding in support of music education in schools and Increasing Congressional Attention on Federal Funding for Music Education by using the Let Music Fill My World platform to urge Members of Congress to support robust funding for music education in schools. Says Ondrasik, "In speaking with philanthropist Cayley Tullman about how we can best support music in the schools in inner-city Chicago, I thought of my mom, Anna Marie. Mom was a USC music grad and piano teacher. When LA Unified cut all music funding for schools in the 1970s, she volunteered at Van Gogh Elementary School and began putting on full musicals with the 5th and 6th grade classes. The impact that my mother had on me, and my classmates resonates over 50 years later. Many students still keep in touch with my mom, and for the most, music has continued to be instrumental in their lives. That is why I was so proud to collaborate with students at Farragut Academy in Chicago in writing “Let Music Fill my World.” Though the title was mine, the lyrics are the kids! That effort, due to the Tullman Family Office, now provides a full-time music teacher for three years at Farragut! Lives will be changed for the better. The “Music Matters Challenge” will bring our mission and efforts to the nation, raising awareness for music in the schools while letting everyone sing and lend their voice to such a critical cause while having fun, and again, participating in a prize that will bring another full-time music teacher to a school in desperate need.” Adds Cayley Tullman, President of The Tullman Family Office and former U.S. Diplomat: "I remember sitting on the floor in front of the couch at my grandparents' home in California, mesmerized watching my Uncle Stan play guitar and sing. Stan struggled with mental health and addiction, but when playing music, he shined so bright. ?Looking back, I believe music was his solace and gave him a way to express himself that he could not do with words alone. ?I miss him a lot and know he would be proud of our mission to connect more young people with the magic of music.” Stay up to date on all things “Let Music Fill My World,” and the “Music Matters Challenge” on socials here. Check out video message from John Ondrasik and Cayley Tullman. Five For Fighting's "OK" is Not a Political Message, But a Moral One John recently released a new single/music video, “OK” – a composition that expresses Ondrasik's heartfelt view about the October 7th Hamas attacks in Israel, while addressing the cultural aftermath both in America and around the world. Michael Ramirez, two-time Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, drew the single cover image. The State of Israel and the Israeli Foreign Minister both shared the video. Ondrasik states, “'OK' is not a political message, but a moral one. A call to action. The final image of the ‘OK' music video is Martin Luther King and his historic call to every man and woman on this earth: ‘He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.' Thankfully, as happens in the darkest of times, there are heroes in our midst. Some are in this video, several have names that we know, others will never be known.”

Five for Fighting, the stage name of singer/singwriter John Ondrasik, has some crazy timing. He popped over to Israel for a five day immersion in the reality and the pain of our post-October 7th reality. And he was in Tel Aviv on the night that the Islamic Republic of Iran launched more than 300 attack drones and ballistic missiles at us. As we now know, 99% of the offensive weapons were intercepted. Beyond miraculously. But within minutes of Ondrasik performing his amazing new song – “OK” – about October 7th and this seriously messed up world we live in – the Home Front Command issued directives country-wide for everyone to seek shelter. Iran was attacking imminently. We were told 24-48 hours. It turned out to be much less. Ondrasik could have left that night – he was travelling with his young son. But he did not. He stayed. And that tells you everything you need to know about the man. Thank you, John. He performed on Saturday night at Hostage Square at the big weekly support rally for hostages and their families. Moments after he finished his set I went backstage to congratulate him on a magnificent and moving performance. Within minutes we were all hurrying home. I caught up with John on Saturday midday - as we were waiting to see what Iran would do - and we had a great talk about the moral cowardice in the west that is emboldening violent extremism. He understands that it's not just about Israel but that western democracy and freedoms are threatened by this surge of Marxist and extreme Islamist violence. Since the introduction to this podcast was recorded, the 7-year old Beduin girl who I mention having been critically injured, has died. Her tragic fatality is the only one. A number of people were injured by missile and drone debris and there was some damage to a major Israeli Air Force base. Ondrasik stayed on for the full five days. Five for Fighting. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing high alert regarding Iran and its proxies in the region, he was unable to visit the site of the Nova music festival. But I am confident that John Ondrasik will be back. Not only is his music beautiful but he is one of those rare artists who has a moral backbone and is speaking out, no matter the consequences. The world needs more John Ondrasiks. Five for Fighting. Go Leafs! You really don't want to miss this amazing discussion. Or the video for the song. “OK.”Except. Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley interviews John Ondrasik. Grammy® nominated singer-songwriter John Ondrasik, otherwise known as FIVE FOR FIGHTING, would like to talk about the “Music Matters Challenge” that just launched on March 26 and will run through April 30, which is a national online music challenge that will help raise awareness and dedicate resources for music programs in the nation's underserved schools. Two grand prizes will be awarded – one for an individual ($10,000 in cash and the opportunity to select a music teacher to receive a three year salary); and one for school entries (a $25,000 school grant). John created the challenge with Cayley Tullman of the Tullman Family Office, after the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Tullman, and a group of eight students participated in weekly after-school workshops to compose an original song, “Let Music Fill My World,” which expressed why music mattered in their lives. The students wrote all of the verses in the song themselves, and had the opportunity to professionally record their song and create a music video with the help of seasoned industry music producers. As a part of this effort, the Tullman Family Office fully funded a full-time music teacher for the students at Chicago's Farragut Career Academy, which propelled the idea to create the “Music Matters Challenge.” Listen to “Let Music Fill My World” HERE. FIVE FOR FIGHTING is currently on a U.S. tour showcasing worldwide hit songs from John's Platinum-selling career, backed by a string quartet. The 18-city tour hits theaters and performing arts centers nationwide and goes through April 26 in San Juan Capistrano, California, with performances in Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO; Milwaukee, WI; Chicago (Evanson), IL; Pittsburgh, PA; Portland, OR; Olympia, WA, and many more. On tour, Ondrasik will perform his mega-hits such as "Superman (It's Not Easy)", "100 YEARS", "The Riddle", "Chances", and many more. To purchase tickets, visitwww.fiveforfighting.com.

For people of a certain age, who entered adulthood around the turn of the last century, the music of Five for Fighting is a cultural touchstone. The song, "Superman (It's Not Easy)" was an anthem post 9/11. John Ondrasik, the man who is Five for Fighting, performed it at the 2001 Concert for New York. Ondrasik, who will be playing the Fargo Theater in Fargo on March 26, accompanied by a string quartet, has never been shy about tackling controversial issues with his music. He wrote a song critical of the way American troops were ordered to depart Afghanistan. He wrote a song in support of Ukraine in their fight against the bloody, revanchist aggression of Vladimir Putin's regime. Most recently, Ondrasik has weighed in on the war between Israel and Hamas. Called "OK," it juxtaposes images of the Hamas terror attack on Israelis, and Hamas sympathizers here in America supporting it, with a call for moral clarity on the issue. Ondrasik joined this episode of Plain Talk to discuss the song, and the dangers of artists taking on touchy political issues. "I think it's the right thing to do," he said when I asked him why he would take the risk of releasing these songs. "If I was 22 years old and trying to have a career in the music industry would I still be writing these songs? I don't know," he said. "I hope so." He noted that these issues -- Ukraine, Israel, Afghanistan -- are not necessarily partisan. Actor Debra Messing, an outspoken liberal, and right-wing talk radio host Mark Levine agree on Israel, he pointed out. The positions on Ukraine don't break down neatly along ideological or partisan lines either. Ondrasik said he doesn't consider the politics of these situations when he chooses to write about them. "OK" is a moral message, not a political one, he claims. But he did say there is an overall leftward bias in his industry. "If Donald Trump had been responsible for that Afghanistan disaster I'd probably have a Grammy in my hand." If you interested in attending Ondrasik's show in Fargo, you can purchase tickets at FiveforFighting.com or on the website for the Fargo Theatre. Also on this episode, my co-host Ben Hanson and I discuss Gov. Doug Burgum's refusal to say whether he'd certify the 2020 election, and the recent NDGOP presidential caucus vote. John Ondrasik - Singer and Songwriter, Five For Fighting In The Lord of the Rings, Tolkien captures a solid bit of advice from Bilbo, directed toward his nephew Frodo. He says,  “It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.” In the pursuit of success, it's tempting to chase shiny objects. That's certainly true in the music industry. But in spite of having two platinum albums, hundreds of credits on soundtracks, ads, and tv shows, AND composing a song that brought America together in the days following 9/11, today's guest has stayed grounded, even as he continued to dream big dreams. Together, we'll consider the question:   How can you stay true to yourself as a leader? A conversation with John Ondrasik, AKA Five For Fighting, on this episode of Lead With a Question. Today, I have a very special guest, and fighter for freedom Grammy nominated musician John Ondrasik. John recently wrote and recorded a video for his smash hit "Blood on My Hands" highlighting the travesty still playing out in Afghanistan. John isn't a political hack, or ultra-woke celebrity; he is a rational thinking human who loves his country. We dig deep into his song "Blood on My Hands," which was originally banned on YouTube, and then from pressure from his fans and some 1st Amendment supporting politicians, it was re-instated. We also discuss how we have hope that there is still some fight left in this country, and we just need to keep fighting the good fight. We dig into what keeps him motivated, how his music career didn't take off until much later in life, and why he has a Mathematics degree from UCLA. I promise you this is a great interview, and you will leave inspired and motivated by John. About John Ondrasik: The only way for a story to progress is to turn the page. John Ondrasik— the songwriter and performer known as the platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated, Five For Fighting—knows this well. In the two decades since his first major single, “Superman (It's Not Easy),” hit the stratosphere, the artist has both evolved and come back ‘round full circle. Creativity, if nothing else, is paradoxical. To date, Five For Fighting, has released six studio LPs, including the platinum certified America Town and The Battle for Everything; and the top-10 charting Two Lights, along with an EP and live albums. Ondrasik has penned major hits, including the chart-topping “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” “Chances,” “World,” and “Easy Tonight,” which have earned tens of millions of streams and place him as a top-10 Hot Adult Contemporary artist for the 2000s. The reflective “100 Years” has joined “Superman (It's Not Easy)“ as part of the American Songbook and continues to stand the test of time at weddings, birthdays, graduations, memorials, and many a home video. Five For Fighting's music has also been featured in more than 350 films, television shows, and commercials, including the Oscar-winning The Blind Side, Hawaii Five-O, The Sopranos and the CBS drama, Code Black. Referencing Fight For Fighting's success in the 2000s, AllMusic called Ondrasik “one of the decade's leading balladeers.” But perhaps his biggest achievement is performing “Superman (It's Not Easy),” at the 2001 Concert for New York, a benefit show at Madison Square Garden that honored first responders and the fallen about a month after the tragic September 11th attacks. Ondrasik performed alongside other big-name artists like Paul McCartney, The Who, Elton John, Billy Joel, and dozens more. Says Ondrasik, “It was a surreal experience. I was honored and blessed to pay tribute to the heroes who ran into those buildings at ground zero, and hopefully, through a song, provide a little solace to family members who'd lost loved ones.” Now, though, what once was a dream is a reality. Buoyed by his unique falsetto voice and his prowess on the piano—a skill bestowed to him by his piano teacher mother—Ondrasik has made a solid reputation for himself in the world of songwriting and performance, selling upwards of three million albums over his career. Not only does he tour with his popular string quartet and play solo and rock band gigs, but he is also a high demand keynote speaker in which he combines themes of creativity and innovation with his business acumen.  Along with his father, he has managed the family business throughout his musical career.  As Ondrasik happily puts it, his company, Precision Wire Products, “makes the best shopping cart in the world!” He's presented at TEDx, The Salk Institute, American Cancer Society, and dozens more. Perhaps being the son of an astrophysicist dad and having a degree in mathematics from UCLA has something to do with it. “Math was the Plan-B to get a real job when the mus...

Despite the Biden administration heralding the pull-out from Afghanistan as a "success," America's tumultuous retreat has sparked outrage and shame both in the United States as well as abroad. Following the suicide bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport that killed 13 US service members and close to 170 Afghan civilians, Five For Fighting's John Ondrasik decided to turn his frustration into a song to protest the American withdrawal. John joined Marc and Dany to discuss his latest track, "Blood on My Hands," his horror after the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, and perform two of his songs, "Tuesday" and "Blood On My Hands." John Ondrasik, better known by his stage name Five for Fighting, is a platinum-selling, Grammy nominated American singer-songwriter. His songs include "100 Years," "Superman (It's Not Easy)," "Chances," "The Riddle," "Freedom Never Cries," "What If," and his latest single, "Blood On My Hands." https://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/11.3.21-Ondrasik-Transcript-Final.pdf (Download the transcript here. )

John Ondrasik started playing piano when he was three. Thirty years later, as Five for Fighting, he found himself playing beside his musical heroes at Madison Square Garden after his song “Superman (It's Not Easy)” became an anthem for the fallen heroes of 9/11. On this episode of the Glenn Beck Podcast, Ondrasik and Glenn chat about music, fame, songwriting, freedom, and the strange power of “Let's Go Brandon.” He plays “Freedom Never Cries,” “100 Years,” and his latest single, “Blood on My Hands,” which is a protest song, a good one, about Joe Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. “Afghanistan is not a political cause,” Ondrasik tells Glenn. “It's a moral cause.” Hollywood used to celebrate subversive protest music, so why is one of America's most celebrated ballad artists being ignored by the mainstream?  Sponsor:  Built Bar - The makers of Built Bar understand that flavor comes first. And whether it's the mint brownie flavor, salted caramel, cookies 'n' cream, or any of their other amazing flavors, you can rest assured that real chocolate and great taste came first. In today's episode, our guest is Sean Matson, Co-Founder & CEO of MATBOCK, a company run by retired Navy SEALS and whose staff are also former US Military Veterans. [8:22] Why should we listen to you? I enjoy authentic conversations with people and sharing what's passionate to me. For me, it's my work, my working out, and my family. I want my work to impact wherever we're doing with our work, I want to inspire other people to work out and be better. And then for my family, trying to push them and lead them as husband and father, to be the best versions of themselves.  [11:18] What are some of the things that you could have done that much blown your life up? I didn't have the best father, and my mom entirely raised me. And so before I had that was kind of always in the back of my head, I must be a dad. I had to realize that that train has to keep moving. If that train stops, because I get off, we got more significant problems. It was also the same thing that was reassuring to know now that I'm not there anymore, they could continue to do what they need to do, and they don't need me. I wanted to be the guy leading. I liked when I was in the I'm an officer. So I was naturally in a leadership position. I loved being with my guys and doing everything with guys into and pouring my heart and making sure that I've going to bring these guys home. [14:55] Sean's company and what he does Matbock's name comes with my business partner and my last name. My last name is Matson, and his last name is Steinbach, and we both went through SEAL training. We created this product initially, thought we were going to sell it to a company and license it, and figured give it to someone else, let them do it, we'd make all the money off of the royalties. We know that we're always getting high-quality products because they are on the front line like we can tap into them. There's never a shortage of ideas. There's always a shortage, but it's a good one. The company also gives close to 10 times the typical 510 percent royalty on an idea from a veteran or police officer.   [16:53] When we built the company of MatBock, the idea was to hire a guy similar to me to come in and be an r&d guy and pay him 100, 150, $200,000 a year to do that position. But after six months, 12 months, it is no longer relevant. Because again, that train is kept ongoing, it's moving, and he does have experience. But he's not going to know the latest trend. Tapping into resources has been our kind of bread and butter to that and how we've created that. [18:02] Vision or passionate idea to be like an entrepreneur In 2006, Zach and I flew from San Diego to Alaska to do our advanced cold-weather training. It's an eight-hour flight on the back of C 130 military aircraft. And it took 30 of our hours to build and load all our cargo onto the pallet. And we're sitting there just like there's got to be a better way. So we redesign this entire cargo net system. We got a patent for it. We've only sold like one of them now and then, like, ten plus years. It's been ours. It was our worst product ever. But what it ultimately did for us was we stayed laser focus on that one product to get it to market. And now we can get what that took us years to get that to call in a few months to get a product to market, a process in place.  [26:25] The rise of Superman It's all about flow state how you get your body into the flow. The cool thing is they use a lot of examples of like extreme sports athletes and talk about how they get to that flow state. [27:35] What promise did God make to the world when He created you? That no matter what, I'm true to me, and that I will always be transparent and lead whoever's with me, in the place that not only we should be going, but I'm going to be going. Key Quotes [23:10 - 23:14] number one reason companies go out of business is they choke on their own success.   Connect with Sean Matson: Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sean-matson Website: https://www.matbock.com/

(doesn't really matter now) I'm conflicted here it's a good sendoff to Clark. Part of his narrative in the show was that he wanted to me normal at times.  I think I built it up too much in my mind. But tbh I'm a bit salty we still never got Welling in the suit CG on the Super fight was a bit rough but TV budget so okay What's up with Lyla? Is this going to be explained in the comic tie-in? Sidequest the episode.  Big stakes from part 1 aren't really in play here Michelle  Tom Welling not in Superman suit Lazarus Pit, really? The multiverse is ending; Barry spends a lot of time on side mission Harbinger's going to Anti-Monitor really not explained Roses SP -  “Yea. I kind of promised my crew we'd never have to do another crossover” Jonathan crying and being passed off from person to person until Mick stops him World's Finest Teamup to Earth-99. “Bat Of The Future” Lois has a thing for ALLSupermen Lex Luther's “Superfriends” comment to Earth-167 Superman It was fitting to have Batman in the Batwoman episode Superman v Superman fight was made better by two actors: Brandon Routh and Tyler Hoechlin For all the Legends Of Tomorrow side characters to be in Crisis, it was good to see Jonah Hex End credit symbols are pretty cool   Chris Leo replaces Gideon Routh is still a perfect Superman. This is the series they should be pursuing.  He is from Superman Returns via reference to his son Jason Kara eyes up Routh Supes gets told he's her cousin by Superman prime was fun Ray and Supes trading quips on teh Waverider was fun Having not watched Cryer in Supergirl I don't know what he was like previously but he nails it as Lex Kevin Conroy is batman even if its evil batman. they took my batman and put him in live action. Normally I complain about guggenheim and his need to defy expectations of fans. I actually liked it here. To many people Kevin Conroy is the definitive version of batman. One who never kills. To take this version and have him be a broken version similar to Dark Knight Returns Batman was not what I expected. And seeing Conroy pull off broken Batman both physically and mentally was quite the show. Teased me with Batman Beyond when referencing a Gotham from the future Smallville Didn't expect to get it. Like the nod to Lex as president Wish there had been more Alternate earth Mick is still delightful as is his babysitting Michelle  Tom Welling!!!! Everyone noticing how buff he is Like the Kara/Constantine/Mia teamup Kate and Kara develop relationship Cryer gets to be more Lex Luthor-y than on Supergirl Kate has character development w/interaction w/Bruce Brandon Routh gets to show the world why he's a great Superman and deserves to take over from Cavill Episode made me like Superman again For reference: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Easter Eggs and References in Part Two (10 Dec 2019) https://comicbook.com/dc/2019/12/10/crisis-infinite-earths-part-2-easter-eggs/      ARROW NEWS:   CW Reveals When Arrow, Flash, Batwoman and More Return From Winter Hiatus (Date: 18 Dec 2019) Both Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will air on Jan. 14 to close out the Arrowverse's "Crisis on Infinite Earths". Y'alls coverage of the show plus the One-shots and other stuff yuns do is fantastic. Just listened to Purgatory and thought that I would mention that on VUDU you can buy the bundles of Invansion and Crisis On Earth-X. They haven't got Elseworlds bundled yet but hopefully they do, and obviously I hope eventually they get Crisis On Infinite Earths bundled too. Thanks, I appreciate y'all, it's been fun listening to y'alls coverage, and looking forward to these last little bit of episodes. Thanks! REDDIT (via Chris): https://www.reddit.com/r/arrow/comments/e9vu1r/crisis_spoilers_star_city/ Posted byu/rleach1001 7 days ago [Crisis Spoilers] Star City spoiler Star City 2046 can't be the same Earth featured in Legends of Tomorrow. I know Sara said the Waverider jumped dimensions, but she has to be wrong. In Legends of Tomorrow S1E6, Sara meets future Oliver and he says: "30 years ago, you and Ray hopped on a spaceship, and you never came back." In Crisis Part One, they meet alternate Oliver, and he says: "You're dead. You... you went down with the Gambit." So, Earth-16 is an alternate Earth that's very similar to Star City 2046, but Sara actually died on the Gambit. She never got on the Amazo, joined the League, or came back to Star City. Star City 2046 was a potential future for Earth-1 that was avoided.   NEXT EPISODE   Link to Promo: https://comicbook.com/dc/2019/12/09/crisis-on-infinite-earths-spoilers-part-3-trailer-watch-online-the-flash/ (Date: 9 Dec 2019)    Episode: “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3” [Flash: Season 6 Episode 9] Air Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2019 Summary: Pariah enlists Black Lightning to help stop the Anti-Monitor after Flash-90 Shares what he learned from his battle in 'Elseworlds'.
