Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is het vierde deel in de magische Harry Potter-reeks van J.K. Rowling. In this episode, we are taking you back a number of years to a lost episode! We spent some time many years ago speaking with Tad Stones, a Disney animator who worked for the company from 1974-2003. The problem is this edit fell through the cracks and went into podcast purgatory. We are here to resurrect it and get our conversation with Tad Stones out so you all can listen. This conversation begins with EPCOT Center and some of the different items he had his hands on. We get into World of Motion, Journey into Imagination, and more. The EPCOT perspectives from these early days are fascinating and surprising at the same time, as most of this is not the major highlight of Tad's Disney career. Tad also gets into a fun story about meeting George Lucas in the early 1980s, eating fried chicken, and even giving a little foreshadowing about the prequels. Either way, this is such a cool interaction and story that we are so excited to share with you. Tad has such a unique perspective on the early EPCOT years, digging into development, planning, and how it all came together. Tad has been a major part of Disney animation, which is one of his biggest claims to fame. Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Hercules, & Atlantis are all credited to Tad, which is unbelievable if you think about it. While we were hoping to have Tad at RetroMagic back in 2023, we are hoping there is a chance we can have him at a future event so listeners can have the opportunity to meet him. While this episode has been many years in the making, we hope you all have enjoyed the time with Tad Stones.

Just because the boys are on vacation doesn't mean there's no show. Blake brings Tad Stones, creator of Darkwing Duck, back on to discuss the new Ducktales show and talking about the old Disney Afternoon days. It's a good conversation that you should sit back and enjoy.
In Episode 169 of Jake's Happy Nostalgia Show, we are joined by animation veteran Tad Stones! Chances are you grew up with many of Tad's projects. For several decades, Tad was an animator, writer, producer and director on various Disney films and TV series. He created a number of animated series for the company including Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and the TV adaptations of Aladdin and Hercules, as well as directing the second and third Aladdin movies, executive produced Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, directed, produced and co-wrote the Hellboy films and many more!
The 2023 Comic-Con International in San Diego won't have a big movie or TV presence this year because of the writers' & actors' strikes. But Tad Stones, who's been to a few cons, says it'll be fun anyway!
This is a preview for the Weirdest Episode Ever about the time Darkwing Duck did a parody of Twin Peaks. The full episode is an exclusive for patrons pledging $5 or more a month, but this preview is going on the free feed both as an enticement and also because I share some quotes from Tad Stones, creator of Darkwing Duck, about how this strange piece of TV came to be. If you want to hear the full episode, head over to our Patreon and pledge at the $5-a-month level; you'll not only get all WEEs so far but also every episode of the new miniseries, Backdoor Pilots, launching next month. Let's get dangerous! For a history of the Scrooge McDuck comics and how they ended up onscreen as Ducktales, listen to the What a Cartoon episode about it. Why yes, Drew did in fact compile a list of all the instances of doubling on the original Twin Peaks. Watch Sesame Street's own Twin Peaks parody, which is also called Twin Beaks.
Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers is an American animated adventure comedy television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation.[1] Created by Tad Stones and Alan Zaslove, it featured chipmunks Chip and Dale, mice Gadget and Monterey Jack, and housefly Zipper as a team of mystery-solving detectives working on "small crimes." Before we revisit this Disney classic, we try Chick-O-Stick, the retro peanut butter coconut candy that one of us called "as dry as a desert" and the other of us thoroughly enjoyed. Megan talks about meeting Chip & Dale at Disney World with her fanatic brother, Steve talks about forming his own Rescue Rangers gang, and we both enjoy revisiting this afterschool cartoon now available on Disney+ Links to listen can be found at www.stopruiningmychildhood.com Support our show on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/stopruiningmychildhood

After a brief gap, we're back with an all-new episode of the Nostalgia Theater show! This week, we’re talking about Disney's Darkwing Duck, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this very year (read my article on the show here). A spin-off of Disney’s very successful DuckTales, Darkwing was created by veteran animator Tad Stones (Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command), who was gracious enough to join me for a fun and insightful hour of conversation as we took a fond look back at the terror that flaps in the night, plus his many other experiences in the world of animation. Though originally thought by some fans to be a spin-off of the 1987 DuckTales series, creator Tad Stones stated in a 2016 report that he believes the two shows exist in different universes. Despite this, supporting characters Launchpad McQuack and Gizmoduck appear in both series in similar roles, and Scrooge McDuck is mentioned in the Darkwing Duck episode "Tiff of the Titans". Additionally, the 2011 comic book series DuckTales makes reference to Darkwing Duck and features various villains from the series. A crossover between the Darkwing Duck and DuckTales comics occurs in issues 17–18 and issues 5–6, respectively, of each.
