Dal 4 luglio e fino al 5 settembre 2021 va in scena il racconto di terre e di uomini tra le colline del Piemonte del sud e il mare: un racconto di radici che si incrociano e danno vita a esperienze nuove, di vie e di rotte che puntano lontano, dove lo sguardo può solo immaginare. L'edizione 2021 riunisce 22 Comuni le associazioni di territorio, le cantine e abbatte in un sol colpo le frontiere immaginarie e reali tra le province nel nome della bellezza e del paesaggio umano, agricolo e architettonico. Langhe, Monferrato, Roero e Appennino Piemontese diventano così, tra spettacoli, concerti, incontri, un unico scenario diverso per caratteristiche, ma uguale per potenzialità e armonia.“ATTRAVERSO è vero lo firmiamo noi, Paola Farinetti e Simona Ressico – dicono le due direttrici artistiche del Festival – ma accanto a noi ci sono centinaia di persone: amministratori, operatori turistici, vignaioli, volontari, amanti del territorio….Nonostante il Covid 19, non ci siamo mai fermati perché i rapporti e le relazioni costruite in questi sei anni con ognuno dei paesi piemontesi, piccoli e grandi che di questo Festival sono l'anima e l'ossatura, sono stati e sono più forti di tutto. Ed è una grande soddisfazione. Il risultato di una costruzione certosina e di una grande passione. ATTRAVERSO è un Festival intenso, emozionale, originale, di quelli che hanno l'ambizione di legarsi strettamente al luogo nel quale nascono, un Festival che nasce dal territorio e non sul territorio, dal basso e non calato dall'alto, con un programma artistico originale, pensato ad hoc, che cerca di unire sempre la qualità della proposta al giusto tasso di popolarità e si declina perfettamente sui luoghi che lo ospitano. E dal 2020 in qua, mai parole sono state più vere, non semplici slogan in fondo a una locandina.” Tra piazze, cortili, Forti possenti, Auditorium, giardini e natura, nuovi comuni si sono uniti alla rete del Festival: è il caso di Cherasco, nella provincia di Cuneo, o di Tortona e Gavi col suo Forte, in quella di Alessandria; per altri, come Mornese, Parodi, Rocca Grimalda, l'Area Archeologica di Libarna, sempre nel Monferrato Alessandrino, o di Novello, nel cuore della Langa del Barolo, si tratta invece di un ritorno, dopo una pausa. Seguendo le linee guida delle precedenti edizioni Attraverso conferma la proposta di appuntamenti di qualità e non usuali, differenti rispetto a quelli normalmente in circuitazione, spesso piccole produzioni in luoghi particolari di grande bellezza e suggestione. Non solo concerti e spettacoli teatrali, ma incontri, dialoghi, contaminazioni di genere, di linguaggi, di artisti. Un grande programma per “attraversare” l'estate insieme e tornare a ritrovarci. Tanti gli highlight del programma, alcuni in più repliche sulle province e altri per la prima volta ospiti del Festival: Moni Ovadia che con la sua particolare lettura del canto XXVI dell'Inferno Dante. Il coraggio di assumere il proprio destino, sarà in tre luoghi, al Parco Capanne di Marcarolo, a Casale Monferrato e a Cherasco; Paolo Fresu, icona del jazz italiano che piace al mondo a Bra e al Forte di Gavi; Andrea Pennacchi, anima di “Propaganda Live” a Calamandrana e a Bra; il filosofo-psicanalista Massimo Recalcati a Monforte d'Alba in mezzo alle colline e alle vigne e a Cassano Spinola-Gavazzana. E poi, sempre per la prima volta nel programma del Festival, Lillo, reduce dai grandi successi di LOL, insieme “ai Vagabondi” per un concerto-spettacolo tutto da ridere all'Auditorium Horszowski di Monforte; Vinicio Capossela con un progetto speciale dedicato a Dante al Forte di Gavi; Mario Tozzi, insieme al jazzista Enzo Favata, per un concerto-incontro dedicato ai temi più che mai attuali della sostenibilità a Tortona e, sempre a Tortona, lo spettacolo Trash!..2..1 della giornalista scientifica Alessandra Viola e del fisico Piero Martin dedicato al tema altrettanto importante del riciclo dei rifiuti; Dori Ghezzi a Nizza Monferrato, dove arriveranno altri protagonisti importanti per tre incontri speciali che si terranno sulla piazza del Municipio; lo scienziato delle piante Stefano Mancuso al Parco Capanne di Marcarolo e la cantante, ex Ustmamò, Mara Redeghieri, sempre al Parco; il matematico Piergiorgio Odifreddi a Rocca Grimalda; i paladini del nuovo liscio, gli Extraliscio, vera e propria passione e scoperta di Elisabetta Sgarbi che sarà, anche lei, presente a Bra per un incontro; lo scrittore e giornalista Giorgio Dell'Arti, sempre a Bra, e la filosofa rock Ilaria Gaspari a Serralunga d'Alba all'interno del programma delle Passeggiate Letterarie nel Bosco dei Pensieri della Fondazione Mirafiore. E' il caso di Ascanio Celestini che aprirà Attraverso il 4 luglio a Morbello con il reading I parassiti – un diario nei giorni del Covid 19, di Paolo Crepet che a Tortona terrà una lectio magistralis a partire dal suo ultimo saggio “Oltre la tempesta”, o ancora di Federico Buffa che porterà a Cassano Spinola-Gavazzana il suo spettacolo “Italia Mundial”, di Michela Murgia a Calamandrana, dello storico Alessandro Barbero, affezionato di Attraverso, che a Cherasco racconterà il suo Dante Alighieri; di Enrica Tesio e Mao che a Tortona spiegheranno che in fondo in fondo “Gli adulti non esistono”, del filosofo Umberto Galimberti, ad Alba e a Casale, di Oscar Farinetti a Ovada che proverà a spiegare la ricetta giusta per il lancio del Monferrato e di Stefano Massini ad Alba. Sinibaldo Scorza, pittore del Seicento genovese nato a Voltaggio nell'entroterra, fu un artista molto particolare: formatosi infatti sulla pittura fiamminga che circolava nella Genova di inizio Seicento (soprattutto quella di Frans Snyders), si interessò alla rappresentazione della natura nei dipinti e iniziò una felice e fortunata produzione di opere d'arte che avevano per protagonisti gli animali. Sinibaldo Scorza (che fu anche un eccellente paesaggista) quindi fu uno dei primi artisti a diffondere in Italia le opere con gli animali come soggetti principali, che spesso non erano gli unici protagonisti ma erano inclusi in opere con storie e miti dove gli animali ricoprivano un ruolo fondamentale. La sua lezione poi si diffuse e fu ripresa, tra gli altri, da Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione detto il Grechetto. Vediamo con Ilaria e Federico quali sono le sue opere più interessanti!
