Slam the Gavel welcomes John Scott from Florida to the podcast. John is the victim of multiple DCF Civil Rights Violations by a caseworker that has since left DCF. It all started November 6th, 2023. The caseworker, B. Bachelor, was rude, made malicious insinuations and wanted John to go into detail about DV that was done to him by his ex while in front of the children. This caseworker criminally conspired with multiple members of the Okaloosa County, FL Sheriff's Department to have him arrested for allegedly being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. However, there was a paperwork issue.... Where is the accountability??     John discussed his story and has a 2023 arrest case sealed by a Federal Judge and a 2022 Civil Rights Violation case sealed as well. John has court on April 7th, 2025 and has reached out to 200 law firms and found one that deals with DCF cases. John is trying to get the retainer together to be represented by Rapier Law Firm from Illinois. To Reach John Scott:  nkchvactech315@gmail.com***** Supportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)Maryann Petri: dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.comhttps://www.tiktok.com/@maryannpetriFacebook:  https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/guitarpeace/Pinterest: Slam The Gavel Podcast/@guitarpeaceLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maryann-petri-62a46b1ab/  YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536  Twitter https://x.com/PetriMaryannEzlegalsuit.comhttps://ko-fi.com/maryannpetri*DISCLAIMER* The use of this information is at the viewer/user's own risk. The Justice Department released a 73-page report Wednesday detailing systemic civil rights violations by the Memphis Police Department, including excessive force, racial disparities, and mistreatment of people with mental health issues. The report highlighted "aggressive and frightening encounters" with children, such as an eight-year-old who faced nine incidents of threats, handcuffing, and physical harm from 2021 to 2023. The investigation followed the January 2023 death of Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man fatally beaten by officers after a traffic stop. Footage of the attack sparked national outrage and prompted a federal investigation into the department's practices. The report revealed that officers routinely escalated encounters, used intimidation, and relied on traffic stops for crime control, disproportionately targeting Black residents. The federal trial of Brett Hankison, the former Louisville police officer charged with civil rights violations in Breonna Taylor's death, has concluded with a mistrial. After three days of jury deliberations, the case remains unresolved, leaving many questions lingering about police violence against Black individuals. As reported by the Louisville Courier-Journal, the jurors spent three full days deliberating but couldn't reach a unanimous decision regarding the fate of 47-year-old Hankison. He had previously been acquitted in March 2022 on state charges related to wanton endangerment in the same case. The jury, composed of five white men, one Black man, and six white women, requested a copy of the court transcript, which was denied. The judge issued an Allen Charge, which is an instruction to try harder in order to avoid a mistrial. But jurors were unable to reach a unanimous decision and a mistrial was declared.    Slam the Gavel welcomes Jenny Reimenschneider back to the podcast. She was last on the show Season 3, Episode 80. She also invited her friend Deb to speak on the podcast in regards to what has happened with Jenny's mother. Jenny is a long-term  activist and Montgomery County, PA resident. She comes from a very close-knit, community-service oriented family.  The idea that in the year 2022, in the United States, a human being can actually own another human being, is atrocious.        The  family has been living the nightmare of having an uninvolved, stranger taking complete control not just of their Mother, but their entire extended family. After unfortunately reaching out to the county looking for assistance, the family suddenly found themselves falsely accused of not properly clothing and feeding their Mother, not taking her to appointments, using her money, and other things that were easily refuted had anyone taken the time to look at.   After attending a hearing with a clearly predetermined outcome, a judge assigned this stranger, whom none of the family had ever met, and who didn't even speak to their Mother, became the owner of their Mother.       For eight months now, she has endured multiple fractures and head injuries, the situation has caused her to mentally, physically and cognitively decline exponentially, and the county claims they “can't do anything”.      What Jenny wants everyone to know is that she and her family are "co-guardians" of their mother as of September. They get to see their mother more often and get to take her out of the nursing home per judge's orders. Jenny also encourages that if you need help with a loved one, ask another relative or a friend, but do not go to the state for help. NO ONE should not, under any circumstances ask county agencies for help. Do not under any circumstances allow anyone you care about to become under the control of a “Guardian “.    To Reach Jenny Reimenschneider: Facebook:  Guardianship Court Corruption Victims 2021 and freeelsier@yahoo.comSupport the show(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)http://www.dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.com/Support the showSupportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)http://beentheregotout.com/http://www.dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.com/

Mannes discusses individual cases that reflect the trend, telling of the handling of the Ryan Pownall case that even encouraged a liberal justice to speak out on the unconstitutionality of Krasner's action. Then, Dom welcomes Louisiana Senator and firecracker John Kennedy onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his upcoming appearance supporting Dr. Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania. First, Giordano asks Senator Kennedy about his fantastic one-liners that he uses regularly in media, with Kennedy explaining his affinity for reading and telling that the wit usually comes naturally. They don't get the same level of attention as the 2-million-strong federal workforce, but another 30,000 people work as staff members on Capitol Hill. Instances of discrimination and unfair employment practices occur there, too. That's where the Office of Compliance comes in. It's job is to make sure 13 civil rights, labor and workplace safety laws apply in the place they were written. Susan Tsui Grundmann, OOC's executive director, tells Federal Drive with Tom Temin what's been going on since she joined earlier this year.

On January 4, 2013, Mrs. Royce Eckley received the phone call any parent dreads.  Her son, Marcus, was dead.  She was told her son had comitted suicide.  However, upon further investigation, all were lead to believe that this was not the case. Mrs. Eckley turned to all powers that be in Louisiana (where Marcus lived), and those calls were never returned.  We want to help spread Marcus' story and just maybe someone listening can help. We have had this case on our show previously, but today is Marcus' birthday & we have made this a day of action. Here are words from Mrs. Eckley regarding her son: "Marcus Anthony Merritt, Sr. was born May 25, 1975 and that was one of the happiest days of my life. He was my firstborn and only son. Growing up, he was a character, a real boy who enjoyed pretending he was a cowboy. I told him after he was grown that he truly turned into one because, he owned and loved riding his horses. When Marc was around, people tended to gravitate towards him, he made you feel at ease, laugh and genuinely welcome. He liked to cook out but, we knew if he was in charge of cooking IN, it was going to be hot dogs lol. Once Marc told me, " Momma, it couldn't have been easy for you being a woman to raise a man but, you did." That really made me feel good because, I did my best. He was truly loved by all who had the joy of knowing him and in turn we knew we were also loved. He was a wonderful Daddy who his kids adored. To be hugged by Marc was being hugged tightly and making you feel safe. I sure miss him and his hugs. I love him very, very much." We will be taking your questions at 215-383-3795 during the live broadcast.  This will also be available for replay if you missed the show.  Remember to follow us at @tracyfortshow, like us on Facebook at The Tracy Fort Show, and you can ae-mail the show at thetracyfortshow@gmail.com.  Thank you for supporting us!
