Sorin Grindeanu, președinte interimar, urmează să fie confirmat oficial în fruntea partidului, cu puteri depline. Evenimentul marchează schimbări importante în structura internă a PSD, inclusiv alegerea unei noi echipe de conducere și modificarea statutului. Printre noutăți se numără și renunțarea oficială la eticheta de „progresist”. Noua echipă a PSD, propusă prin moțiunea lui Sorin Grindeanu, reunește membri cu notorietate, cu putere în partid, dar din zone diferite: eurodeputatul Victor Negrescu, vicepreședinte al Parlamentului European, candidează pentru un post de prim-vicepreședinte al PSD. În același timp, eurodeputatul Claudiu Manda, vicepreședinte pe regiunea sud-vest, candidează pentru postul de secretar general al partidului, înlocuindu-l pe Paul Stănescu, iar deputatul Gabriel Zetea, în prezent vicepreședinte pe administrație și infrastructură, candidează pentru un post de vicepreședinte regional pentru zona de Nord-Vest. Noua echipă de conducere va cuprinde cinci prim-vicepreședinți, opt vicepreședinți regionali și 12 vicepreședinți pe diverse domenii de activitate, pe lângă secretarul general și președintele Consiliului Național și poziția de președinte. Astfel, scrie ziarul Adevărul, numărul membrilor conducerii crește de la 21 la 27.  Lupii tineri din echipa lui Sorin Grindeanu. Cine sunt greii PSD din spatele lor (Cotidianul) Tinerii din PSD care au ajuns în lumina reflectoarelor sunt crescuți la umbra greilor din PSD. Liderii cu greutate se retrag din prim-plan, dar nu renunță la frâiele puterii. În echipa lui Grindeanu nu se vor mai regăsi Paul Stănescu, Marian Neacșu, Radu Moldovan. Nici Mihai Tudose nu mai e chiar în prima linie, deși rămâne președintele Consiliului Național. Alți lideri cu vechime s-au retras mai demult. Dar asta nu înseamnă că nu influențează deciziile partidului de după cortină.  Lupii noi din PSD sunt crescuți la umbra lor, o arată evoluția carierei acestora din urmă și, în unele cazuri, declarațiile publice. Oamenii grei din PSD i-au crescut și i-au aruncat acum în jungla de la București ca să ocupe primele poziții la vârful partidului și să le ducă mai departe moștenirea.  Cine pleacă, cine vine în echipa lui Grindeanu citiți în Cotidianul. Fostul primar Daniel Tudorache se pregătește să intre în Top 10 inculpați de lux ajutați de Lia Savonea, șefa Înaltei Curți, să scape de pedepse (Libertatea) Daniel Tudorache este următorul condamnat care se pregătește să își anuleze pedeapsa, după recursul în casație depus de el și ajuns la complet, din componența căruia face parte și șefa Înaltei Curți, Lia Savonea. Până acum, judecătoarea a ajutat cel puțin 10 nume grele din politică, administrație și mediul privat să scape ori să își îndulcească situația penală. Fostul primar al Sectorului 1, Daniel Tudorache, condamnat pe 21 ianuarie 2025 la 3 ani de închisoare cu suspendare pentru complicitate la trafic de influență, va afla pe 17 noiembrie 2025 dacă va scăpa sau nu de pedeapsă. Libertatea prezintă în ordine cronologică descrescătoare alte 10 dosare ale unor inculpați VIP care au beneficiat de clemența judecătoarei Lia Savonea de când a ajuns la Înalta Curte. Send us a textYou probably know a little bit about Hannibal, Missouri, because of the books written by a guy named Mark Twain, but I bet you don't know much about the history of African Americans who've lived in Hannibal, even though Hannibal has had African American residents from its earliest days. I didn't until I talked with Faye Dant, founder of a Hannibal museum called Jim's Journey. In this episode, Dant fills me in on the history that's been hard to come by.  We talk about her deep family roots in Hannibal and Missouri, and how the lack of recognition for Black history in Hannibal inspired her to create the museum. She describes how she researches the history of the area's African American communities, and what she learned about the first African Americans in Hannibal. She gives an overview of the city's Black neighborhoods and how African Americans weren't allowed to be in many Hannibal neighborhoods after dark.  She describes the limited economic and educational opportunities available to African Americans in town, and her own experience going through the public schools as they integrated. We talk about the foundations of community life, and a couple of people who left an outsized mark on the area's history: Joe Douglas and George Coleman Poage. We wrap up with a discussion of what she learned about Mark Twain growing up in Hannibal and what she thinks about the way Hannibal presents Mark Twain today.

Diversiunea Cioloș la SRI (SpotMedia) Cum și-a început mandatul președintele Nicușor Dan / Alergător pe lângă minge (G4Media) Dezastruos ar fi cuvântul potrivit. În primele două luni după câștigarea alegerilor, președintele Nicușor Dan a arătat că nu dispune de suficientă forță pentru a-și impune voința politică, a comis cel puțin o eroare majoră și a demonstrat o capacitate limitată de înțelegere a mecanismelor statului, precum și zero instincte politice, scrie jurnalistul Dan Tăpălagă. Un șef de stat dispune de multă legitimitate și de o putere reală, dacă știe cum să le folosească. Când nu o face, tot sistemul îi miroase imediat neputința. Așa se face că, în justiție, nu i-a ieșit mai nimic: Inspecția Judiciară, Înalta Curte, judecătorul propus de PSD la CCR (Mihai Busuioc) — toți provin din tabăra anti-reformistă. Și toți au defilat nestingheriți pe sub nasul indiferent al președintelui Dan. Adăugați la acest tablou și catastrofa de negociere politică de la formarea guvernului, unde PSD a obținut cam tot ce și-a dorit — inclusiv Ministerul Justiției. Altfel spus, tot PSD va propune viitorii procurori-șefi ai DNA și Parchetului General, pe care Nicușor Dan ar dori să-i schimbe. Foarte bine, doar că tocmai le-a cedat PSD-ului puterea de a face noile numiri. Cel mai spectaculos autogol a fost atacarea la CCR a legii care înăsprește pedepsele pentru propaganda extremistă. Nicușor Dan a folosit, practic, aceleași argumente cu Călin Georgescu, George Simion, AUR și Diana Șoșoacă. Președintele mai are o ultimă șansă de reabilitare, odată cu numirea șefilor de servicii secrete, anunțată pentru toamnă. Integral pe pagina G4Media. Oamenii politici din România au o legătură complicată și netransparentă cu serviciile de informații, iar compromisurile și lipsa de control civil asupra acestora au devenit critice pentru nivelul de încredere din societate în instituțiile statului. Liderii politici cred că raportul de forțe din coaliție depinde de cine va conduce SRI și SIE. Consultarea președintelui cu partidele nu va fi legată de nume, pentru că atributul nominalizării îi revine șefului statului, ci mai degrabă va fi legată de tatonarea șefilor de partide pentru obținerea unor reacții cu privire la votul din Parlament vizavi de o propunere sau alta. Dar cum poți face asta într-o țară în care toată lumea fură? Cum poți vorbi despre dreptate socială când magistrații - tocmai cei care se presupune că ar trebui să facă dreptate - și-au făcut stat în stat și se ceartă cu premierul pe media de vârstă la care binevoiesc să iasă la pensie - că o fi 52 de ani, iar nu 48, cum spune Bolojan? Cum poți repara relația cu acest popor care a votat la două mâini cu PSD și populiștii timp de 35 de ani, dar care a avut pretenția ca răspunderea pentru populism să și-o asume altcineva? În fine, cum poți lupta în răspăr cu un popor mânios și care respinge exact singurele surse de bunăstare care pot ține România în viață în următorii ani - fondurile și valorile europene? Jurnalistul PressOne Adrian Mihălțianu remarcă faptul că s-a acordat o atenție sporită nedreptăților pe care le fac bugetarii (cu mic, cu mare, la grămadă) și privații (mai ales companiile alea mari și străine, care nu-și păstrează, domnule, profiturile în țară), și o atenție foarte scăzută pușculiței de bani a partidelor și a rețelelor lor mafiote din teritoriu: celebrul PNDL / Anghel Saligny, programul din care se hrănesc miile de primari din teritoriu și mai ales baronii locali care au definit aceste partide în ultimii 30 de ani.  Înțeleg că domnul Bolojan nu poate isteriza din prima clientela politică PNL și PSD și că trebuie să-și pregătească atent următorii pași dacă vrea să rămână la guvernare suficient timp cât să urnească lucrurile, însă absența acestui program extrem de dăunător stabilității economice a României din prim-planul discuțiilor publice nu e un semn bun, mai notează editorialistul. În opinia sa, România poate scădea foarte rapid o bună parte din deficitul său bugetar dacă reorientează integral fondurile rămase necontractate din Anghel Saligny către finanțări proprii în proiecte europene.

De ce Guvernul Bolojan trebuie să limiteze prin lege salariile și indemnizațiile nesimțite / Cum profiturile companiilor de stat sunt împărțite frățește între șefi și Consiliile de Administrație (G4Media) Guvernul Bolojan are datoria față de contribuabilii corecți – împovărați deja de măsuri de austeritate – să includă în al doilea pachet de reforme anunțat pentru sfârșitul lunii o regândire profundă a modului în care funcționează companiile de stat, scrie jrunalistul Dan Tăpălagă. G4Media.ro a documentat, în ultimele săptămâni, o serie de situații revoltătoare. În esență, vorbim despre jefuirea organizată a acestor companii prin: salarii uriașe, arbitrar crescute, care ajung la mii de euro pe lună bonusuri de zeci de mii de euro acordate fără criterii reale pensionări urmate de reangajări pe aceleași posturi indemnizații de Consilii de Administrație (CA) majorate de zeci de ori, cu aprobări formale și complicități la nivel înalt De regulă, aceste companii decid singure și arbitrar cum își cresc salariile și beneficiile, cu acordul formal – și adesea pasiv – al autorităților de supraveghere. Membrii CA și directorii se comportă ca niște vătafi pe moșia statului: nu răspund în fața nimănui și nu dau explicații pentru risipirea banului public. Da, legislație există. Dar ea este slabă, permisivă și plină de portițe. Iar aceste portițe trebuie închise urgent. Război între magistrați și președintele României. Cine câștigă? (SpotMedia) O decizie care indică mai degrabă teamă, a dus la declanșarea unui conflict între CSM și Palatul Cotroceni din cauza faptului că Nicușor Dan amână să semneze câteva cereri de pensionare venite din partea unor judecători. Magistrații, fără nicio susținere publică, criticați frecvent pentru pensiile speciale și corupția din sistemul de justiție, au ajuns din nou în centrul atenției în urma unor mașinațiuni suspectate ca ilegale prin care au impus-o pe judecătoarea Lia Savonea în fruntea Înaltei Curți de Casație și Justiție. Elena Costache, președinta CSM (Consiliul Superior al Magistraturii), printr-o mișcare surprinzătoare, a decis să-i scrie lui Nicușor Dan pentru a-i cere să semneze un număr de 22 de cereri de pensionare ale unor judecători. Mesajul șefei CSM este șocant prin faptul că dă lecții președintelui, ales de peste 6 milioane de cetățeni, dar și că sugerează o încălcare a legii de către acesta. Dacă CSM cu adevărat a constatat o încălcare a legii de către președintele României, trebuia să pună în discuție acest lucru pe ordinea de zi a Consiliului sau să facă plângere și să deschidă acțiuni în justiție. E fără precedent în istoria recentă a României ca un judecător să-l tragă de urechi pe șefului statului în afara cadrului creat de lege, consideră jurnalistul Emilian Isăilă pe pagina SpotMedia. Despre extremism: de la Eminescu la Nicușor Dan (DW) Președintele Nicușor Dan face o declarație politică atunci când atacă la Curtea Constituțională legea care înăsprește pedepsele pentru fascism, extremism, legionarism și rasism? Și de ce vrea să întoarcă legea din drum? Diana Șoșoacă, AUR și alți parlamentari populiști au făcut deja o contestație la CCR, iar Curtea a respins-o ieri, 10 iulie. Nicușor Dan argumentează în sesizarea trimisă judecătorilor constituționali neclaritatea definițiilor din lege și critică o posibilă restrângere a libertății de exprimare.  Legea anterioară era suficient de puternică pentru a-i ajuta pe procurori și judecători să-i pedepsească pe nostalgicii legionari, pe fasciști și rasiști, doar că magistrații nu erau prea dornici să o pună în practică. Așa a scăpat, prezidențiabilul Călin Georgescu de pedeapsă, după ce procurorii l-au considerat nevinovat. De fapt, în ultimii cinci ani, procurorii au trimis în judecată cam o persoană pe an în baza acestei legi vechi de mai bine de 20 de ani. Președintele se întreabă dacă nu cumva ar putea fi pedepsit și Eminescu, poetul național și se teme ca nu cumva cărțile lui să fie cenzurate. Nicușor Dan se întreabă „până la ce nivel prezența unor idei și concepții fasciste, legionare, rasiste sau xenofobe” transformă un text „într-un material cu caracter fascist, legionar, rasist sau xenofob în sensul Legii”. „Claritatea este necesară”, se arată mai departe în documentul președinției, fiindcă sancționează penal distribuirea unor astfel de materiale. And the list of targets is all too real. After four years of “wrongful imprisonment” (otherwise known as impeachment, indictments, and relentless public floggings), Trump appears poised to turn the tables on the very individuals and institutions that underestimated him. And as the saying goes, "Payback is a mother—well, you get the idea." Do you remember the Dumas tale of the wrongly imprisoned, Edmond Dantes… Before I get more into this metaphor, understand that I was going to discuss this on the show yesterday, but the appointments just kept coming to the point that the team decided to wait and see if things settled enough to discuss it. Frankly, each of these appointments has major implications by themselves… To say that Leftists are losing their minds is to soft-shoe the biggest story since Trump's victory on Tuesday.   Back to the Count… In The Count of Monte Cristo, Edmond Dantès was a man unjustly imprisoned by a group of schemers who thought they'd seen the last of him. What they didn't count on was his resilience—and the careful plotting he'd do during those years of confinement. Similarly, Trump has had four long years to reflect on the people and forces that tried to bury him. And if Dantès emerged with a plan for vengeance, Trump appears ready to do the same; only with a little more panache and a few policy and personnel bombs.
