Synopsis: This is the audio version of the 1-page article I wrote entitled, "Hump Day," Wednesday, and Yom Revii l'Shabbos, in which I explain why hearing a Starbucks customer wish the barista a "happy hump day!" made me grateful to be Jewish.----------The Torah content for these two weeks has been sponsored by Judah and Naomi Dardik in loving memory of Rabbi Moskowitz zt''l, who taught his students to pursue truth by asking questions, who modeled love of Torah and learning, and who exemplified living a life of the mind.----------If you have questions, comments, or feedback, I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to contact me at rabbischneeweiss at gmail.----------If you've gained from what you've learned here, please consider contributing to my Patreon at www.patreon.com/rabbischneeweiss. Alternatively, if you would like to make a direct contribution to the "Rabbi Schneeweiss Torah Content Fund," my Venmo is @Matt-Schneeweiss, and my Zelle and PayPal are mattschneeweiss at gmail.com. Even a small contribution goes a long way to covering the costs of my podcasts, and will provide me with the financial freedom to produce even more Torah content for you.If you would like to sponsor a day's or a week's worth of content, or if you are interested in enlisting my services as a teacher or tutor, you can reach me at rabbischneeweiss at gmail.com. Thank you to my listeners for listening, thank you to my readers for reading, and thank you to my supporters for supporting my efforts to make Torah ideas available and accessible to everyone.----------Patreon: patreon.com/rabbischneeweissYouTube Channel: youtube.com/rabbischneeweissBlog: kolhaseridim.blogspot.com/"The Mishlei Podcast": mishlei.buzzsprout.com"The Stoic Jew" Podcast: thestoicjew.buzzsprout.com"Rambam Bekius" Podcast: rambambekius.buzzsprout.com"Machshavah Lab" Podcast: machshavahlab.buzzsprout.com"The Tefilah Podcast": tefilah.buzzsprout.comWhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GEB1EPIAarsELfHWuI2k0HAmazon Wishlist: amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/Y72CSP86S24W?ref_=wl_sharel

In episode #25 of TAO-Living Podcast, I'll introduce you to the ability to Designing Your Life. First, we'll address patterns and ways of behaving that prevent us from living the life of our dreams. We must transcend survival mode and enter into thriving mode. Look at how many people in survival mode even label the days of the week just to 'get thru' 5 calendar days like they are crossing a desert with no water. Miserable Monday, Hump Day Wednesday, TGIF Fri. Are you aware that this focus on certain days having more dread than others (which is only in the mind of the believer) leads to the fact that more people die of a heart attack Monday am than any other day of the week? The dread of going back into (a job usually ) or their life in general- one that they despise. Next, I'll invite you to get deeply honest with yourself and answer these questions: *Do you have fear around your future? *Do you experience regrets and self-doubt? *Are you overwhelmed by not having balance in your life or overwhelmed by feeling out of balance in your life? *Are you frustrated with the way you're currently living your life? *Are you frustrated with not achieving what you know you're capable of achieving? *And do you know, that deep down inside there is more to you than you're currently expressing? I'll address the profound yet simple truth that if you don't design your life someone else will! Then the need to transition to a state of thriving requires us to remember as Emerson said, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Marianne Williamson's beautiful quote 'Our deepest fear'... "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the World. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel unsure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. As we let our own Light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
