During a White House Hannukah celebration yesterday, President Trump declared that, “All nations will stand together against the evil forces of radical Islamic terrorism” and observed that the perpetrators of a weekend massacre of Jews at a Hannukah party in Australia were “driven by Islamic state ideology.” As it happens, Mr. Trump has a looming opportunity to act on those statements. By Christmas Eve, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent are supposed to provide a report on the Muslim Brotherhood, the international organization that champions the ideology known as sharia that animates the Islamic State and other jihadists. Mr. Trump will either ban the Brotherhood or encourage sharia's adherents to believe they and their ideology will get away with achieving not just more terrorist attacks, but “civilization erasure,” here as well as abroad.  Take action at BantheBrotherhood.org. The inflation rate under President Biden's administration was 9.1% (year-over-year, as measured by the Consumer Price Index), which occurred in June 2022. This was the highest rate in approximately 40 years. Through President Trump's leadership on the economic front, the high inflation rate has dropped to 3%. The record high inflation under the Biden-Harris administration pushed up grocery prices to an all-time high. Congressman Fine addresses the concerns of the high cost of living with a clear explanation. Gas prices under the Biden administration surged to a high of $5.016 per gallon for regular unleaded, recorded on June 14, 2022. Today, gas prices have dropped to a national average of $2.93, with the average gas price in Mississippi dropping to around $2.57 per gallon of regular unleaded. Today, Democrats are running elections on "affordability" while facts clearly reveal that they created the economic crisis in the first place. It was the Biden administration's policies voted by Democratic Party members of Congress which have hurt American families and the US economy. The conversation focuses on how decent hard-working Americans will benefit from the tax cuts including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and the removal of taxes on social security impacting retirees. 2) The rise of anti-Semitism in America with a focus on polling showing that anti-Israel sentiment is rising on the Republican side, especially among young voters. 3) President Trump's efforts to curtail the flow of drugs from Venezuela by targeting boats transporting cocaine to America. In the US, around 42 million people had used cocaine at some point in their lifetime as of 2024. An estimated 22,174 people died from a cocaine-involved overdose in 2024. 4) Bringing to the forefront how NATO member Croatia sold illicit Iranian oil stored in Croatian government facilities. The illegal scheme (operating between 2022 and 2024) where nearly one million barrels of sanctioned Iranian oil were allegedly stored in a Croatian facility before being sold as Malaysian oil to evade U.S. sanctions. The Uganda Army (UPDF) and the Congolese army (FARDC) have successfully rescued 40 people, mostly women and children, from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels in the northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The rescue occurred following fierce fighting in Biakato, Mambasa territory, located 67 km northwest of Beni in Ituri Province, where 27 ADF rebels were also killed. Catherine Perez-Shakdam is a French journalist, political analyst and commentator. She specializes in West Asian and Islamic affairs. Catherine is a former consultant for UNSC on Yemen, and she is an expert on Islamic Terrorism, Radicalization, and Antisemitism from personal and professional perspectives that she shared with our audience.   Catherine discussed what it would be for Iran's next constitution to enshrine the rejection of antisemitism to become the first country to make such a stance, and why it is not possible. In addition, what she has learned about the way Iran wants to portray themselves to the world in her interviews with their political figures. Catherine spoke in detail about being born to Jewish parents, and being a grandchild of a Holocaust survivor, and also a fighter of Nazis, then married a Muslim and converted to Islam, and also published books and many articles about Shia Islam. Later, she came to detest Islam. Catherine explained about being accused of spying for Israel against Iran, and their claims that she infiltrated Iran. She talked about Yemen, and why is there such a humanitarian crisis there. Last year, ISIS urged its followers in the West to use rented trucks to murder innocent people in New York, singling out the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as an “an excellent target.” Less than a year later, a terrorist rented a truck and murdered people in the name of ISIS, mere steps from the World Trade Center. The terrorist shouted “Allahu Akbar,” announcing to all who would listen the reason for his cowardly terrorist attack. He did it in the name of Jihad. He did it in the name of ISIS. He did it in the name of my religion. He is a soldier in the ongoing “war on the West” declared by radical Islamists. But he is not a “lone wolf,” as many in the media have described him. There is no such thing as a “lone wolf.” He did not sit alone in the woods and then – one day, out of the blue – come up with the idea of renting a truck and running down innocent people while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” That was an instruction given by ISIS last year.
