Robert Hofrichter je rakúsky zoológ a morský biológ, autor kníh, ale aj cestovateľ, fotograf a človek, ktorého zaujíma ochrana prírody. Narodil sa v Bratislave, ale pred štyrmi desaťročiami emigroval a usadil sa v rakúskom Salzburgu. Domov má teda na viacerých miestach a Eva Viteková sa v rozhovore s ním vybrala nielen do lesa, ale aj pod morskú hladinu, lebo jeseň si síce užíva na Slovensku, ale počas leta by sme ho stretli na chorvátskom ostrove Krk, kde založil spolok Mare mundi na ochranu morí, výskumu a venuje sa vzdelávaniu mládeže.

(Yohanes 6:26) Renungan: Suatu ketika Yesus mengadakan mukjizat menggandakan 5 roti dan 2 ikan. Bayangkan kita ada di antara ribuan orang saat itu. Saat hari mulai gelap dan perut mulai lapar, Yesus mengambil roti dan ikan milik seorang anak kecil, mendoakan dan membagikannya ke para murid-Nya yang mengulurkannya ke orang-orang. Terus dan terus, orang makan hingga kenyang. Lebih ajaib, tersisa 12 keranjang! Saat lapar, Yesus memberi makan bahkan mengenyangkan kita dengan cara ajaib. Saat kita membutuhkan Tuhan menyediakan secara supranatural. Itu pengalaman yang luar biasa dan pasti akan kita ceritakan di mana-mana. Tapi sebagian orang mungkin lupa jika kisah ini ada kelanjutannya. Setelah peristiwa itu, makin banyak orang ingin mengikuti Yesus. Tapi, Yesus tahu motivasi mereka hanya karena ingin roti lagi. Maka la justru berkhotbah tentang Roti Hidup. Ini tentang Yesus sebagai roti rohani yang jika dimakan akan membuat orang tidak akan lapar lagi. Ini pengajaran yang sulit dicerna, bahkan kontroversial karena orang-orang itu masih berpikir dalam konteks jasmani dan hanya memikirkan hal jasmani. Sesungguhnya, kisah ini masih sering terulang sampai sekarang. Banyak orang datang pada Yesus hanya untuk mendapatkan "roti jasmani". Banyak orang terpukau mendengar kesaksian bagaimana Tuhan mengubah mereka yang dulunya miskin jadi kaya, memberkati dengan rumah dan mobil baru secara ajaib, menyembuhkan sakit fisik mereka, dsb. Gereja pun menjadi penuh saat khotbah dengan tema seperti itu atau KRK yang bertajuk kesembuhan jasmani itu diadakan. Tapi bagaimana jika pengajaran yang lebih dalam dan lebih "sulit" disampaikan, yang tidak lagi membahas soal berkat dan hal jasmani tapi tentang hal-hal rohani? Apakah kita akan memilih pulang cepat? Malas mendengarkan? Dan di lain hari kita memilih beribadah di gereja lain yang lebih "sesuai selera kita? Dari peristiwa itu, Yesus memilah mana pencari Roti Hidup dan mana pencari roti jasmani. Kiranya kita juga beribadah dan mengikut Tuhan bukan hanya untuk mencari roti atau berkat jasmani yang bisa habis, tapi mari carilah Dia, Sang Roti Hidup yang bernilai kekal! Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa: Tuhan Yesus, terima kasih untuk setiap berkat yang Kau berikan pada-Ku. Ajarilah aku untuk bersyukur bukan pertama-tama karena berkat yang Kau berikan, tapi karena Engkau telah memilihku menjadi sahabat-Mu. Amin. (Dod).

Po brezskrbnem lanskem poletju, ko sta covid in Jelko izginila na Krk, se je zgodila jesen. Čudna jesen, ki je pozabila, da so nas preletela letala. Kljub odličnemu delu slovenske vlade, ki je na vsej severni polobli postala sinonim za odločen spopad z virusom, pa notranja sovražna trojka: opozicija, mediji in Svetlana Makarovič, ni počivala. Ker hudič ne počiva in ima v jeseni rad mlade, je virus spet obujen. Zgodil se je drugi val in šli smo z njim.

Imali smo sve vremenske uvijete, čak i dosta snijega. Već pri usponu na Zavižan vidjeli smo tri mala medvjedića, a idućeg dana i tragove velikih šapa u snijegu. Pričali smo o Premužićevoj stazi, opremi, njezinoj zahtjevnosti, pripremama, hrani, izvorima vode… Ma pokušali smo dotaknuti sve bitno prije i za vrijeme puta. Poslušajte, nadam se da ćemo neke od vas motivirati, a drugima prizvati u sjećanje neke stvari s Velebita… Premužićeva staza je pješački, planinarski put koji prolazi vršnim dijelovima sjevernog i srednjeg Velebita. Staza je dugačka pedesetak, a prvih 16 km prolazi područjem NP Sjeverni Velebit. Uobičajeni smjer kretanja je sa sjevera, od Planinarskog doma Zavižan (1594 m), preko prijevoja Veliki Alan (1412 m) do Oštarijskih vrata (927 m). Staza je građena od 1930. do 1933., a zbog kvalitete gradnje i uklopljenosti u prirodni okoliš ova staza predstavlja biser graditeljstva pješačkih puteva u Hrvatskoj. Nazvana je po šumarskom inženjeru Anti Premužiću (1889. - 1979.), on ju je projektirao, organizirao izgradnju i sudjelovao u njoj. Radove su izvodili brojni radnici iz podvelebitskih sela. Izgradnjom staze omogućen je pristup u najnepristupačnije i najljepše dijelove Velebita dotad poznate samo malom broju stanovnika. S planinskih vrhunaca pruža se prekrasan pogled na Jadransko more i otoke Pag, Rab, Goli otok, Prvić i Krk - te na ličko zaleđe s kontinentalne strane. Staza je odlično obilježena i ugodna za pješačenje, a kako nema velikih uspona njome mogu proći i ljudi nenavikli na planinarenje. Ipak, treba imati na umu da je to planinarska staza i da na njen obilazak svakako valja polaziti uz odgovarajuću pripremu, opremu i opskrbu.
