Hello everyone this is Cristin and this is episode 43. A few housekeeping notes, A big thank you to all that entered the contest by leaving me a review. I love the exchange of the energy of gifting. It's something that raises my own vibrational frequency and the vibe of the show. Each episode I do like to share whatever current offer I have going on.  Right Now I have a few: 1.  Alacarte 1:1 coaching- it's $200 for an hour session or you can spit that into 2 half hour sessions.  I feel like sometimes the 30 min sessions feel easier and you'll love having the built in follow up call. 2. We have 90 days left this year and I have a 90 day coaching package! This one's for the seriously ready to change, powerful manifestor.  You'll be celebrating a new you in 90 days. For both of these offerings  You can check out my website CristinPowersLIfeCoach.com/groupcoaching or shoot me and email CristinPowersLifeCoach@gmail.com  If you are not ready to fully dive in, I am open to questions, comments and show ideas- I may even answer your question on the show.  You can call in for FREE and leave a voicemail at 570-362-6444 Ok- getting into it! We have 90 days left of 2024.  I mentioned this before but 2 years ago I took a course with one of my favorite coaches Michael Neil, it was called Creating the Impossible; and it was a 90 day group coaching session.  This course lead me to here, this podcast and so many other blessings along the way. Really diving in, creating and ENJOYing a 90 day plan can help you create amazing things. It doesn't have to be all business goals, you can dream whatever you want.  Maybe it's to learn how to play a song, or be in a play, or write a book, maybe its to travel, or move, or start the new thing you've been dreaming of.  There are no limitations.. The one thing that Michael suggests is really have it feel impossible… allow yourself to dream.  So grab your journal and let's get back to basics.. Write down; I am allowing myself to dream, I am creating the impossible and manifesting my dreams Give yourself some time here and allow yourself to dream what you want to create over the next 90 days.  Next week, we'll continue on this conversation and topic and hopefully create some big manifestations together by the end of the year, and dont' forget if you want additional support there are many ways to work with me.   Now on to today's meditation.  Take a moment to settle in and release any tension in your body.. Your neck, your shoulders, your back and hips, your legs, ankles, arms, wrists, fingers and toes, Unclench your jaw, relax your forehead and take a deep breath in and out Breathe in Breathe out– I am manifesting my dreams  I am manifesting my dream life.  I sit here grounded yet open to receive.  I am open to receiving all the gifts that god or the universe has for me.  Each day is a gift and blessing.  I can create a powerful transformational shift in 90 days.  90 days is the perfect amount of time for me.  Over the next 90 days I see myself putting my self care first I see myself taking care of me I see myself choosing health I can see myself letting go of what no longer serves me. I can see myself making positive changes in my daily routines With every inspired action step I feel my energy rising, i feel the joy flowing into my body and mind,  I believe in myself I am successful Breathe in.. breathe out.  Take your time,,, imagining yourself accomplishing some goals you have to close out the year..  Imagine yourself feeling all the feelings you desire.  Healthy, Positive, Free, Balanced, on the path to your higher self, your best self.  Taking care of you, your hopes, dreams and desires. Loving yourself, your life.  Believing in yourself and being proud of you.  You did it. You are amazing.  Sit in all these positive feelings for a few moments… breathing in… and breathing out….

Episode 24: I am open to receiving  Hi everyone this is Cristin and this is episode 24.  Today's intention is I am open to receiving.  Before we dive in, I wanted to touch on a couple of things.  If you are listening in real time, today is Sept 29 and there are 94 days left in the year.  I started off this year with a 90 day course I took with one of my favorite coaches Michael Neil….that course helped me to create this podcast, a book of meditations and soon to be released audible book.  I think it's only fitting that I close the year out with another 90 day challenge and I'd like for you to join me.  This is very open ended, I'm not telling you the goal you should have in mind, I'd rather you think on that yourself. This will be self guided, but as always if you do want one one on one coaching I'm here, affordable and a la carte Now..  Take out your journal…  About 90 days away is NYE. What would you love to accomplish by then, are there daily inspired action steps that you can take to make it happen, or maybe they are weekly action steps, it doesn't matter- it's' really up to you.  Journal and think on these statements… In 90 days I want to……… In 90 days I want to be…. In 90 days I am….. In 90 days I will have / be…… So when I say the word challenge, I don't want us to attach the feeling of hard to it.  Think of it as more of a game. A fun challenge.  Just seeing what you can accomplish by just trying. I have 2 helpful components to make our success easy 1. Don't forget to success journal at night and 2. If you are a visual person, put a gold star on your calendar, each day that you do whatever it is you do for this 90 day event. :)  Your idea may pop up instantly or If you're having a hard time thinking of something you want to work on, choose what will feel good over time.  How will you feel at the end of the 90 days after doing what you really wanted to do?  It can be a health or movement challenge, a financial challenge, a de-clutter / cleaning challenge, a start what you've been wanting to start for a while challenge, or even a finish what you've been putting off.  The possibilities are endless.  Just remember pick what feels good for you, not what you think you should do.   And now onto our meditation:  Take your time settling in.. releasing any tension from your body, your neck, and back, your arms and legs, your wrists, ankles, fingers and toes.  Unclench your jaw, relax your forehead, close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out…  I am open to receiving.  I open open to all the gifts that are meant for me and that are coming my way I am open to receiving signs from the universe that I am on the path that's meant for me I am open to universal support.  Breathe The universe supports me. My higher self believes in me I am open to receiving.  I am open to finding and taking the path of least resistance I am open to believing that my dreams will come true.  Visualize yourself taking inspired action to achieve your 90 day dream challenge.  See yourself smiling.  Finding ease in the action steps.  Feel yourself being grateful.  Whatever it is you dream of doing over the next 90 days, see yourself enjoying doing it.  Be proud of yourself. Enjoy each moment.  Breathe…. Take a few moments to visualize yourself just doing what you need to do.. See yourself doing it with ease, peace and happiness. There's no stress, just joy.  Taking the small steps each day and each week to achieve the hopes, goals, dreams and desires you have in mind.  Breathe….. Now zoom out to the 90 day mark. It's NYE…You got it done.  You worked on what you wanted to.  You believed in yourself and you did it.  You are proud, joyful and grateful.  You had a really wonderful year. You found peace, joy and success all along the way.  You're in loving relationships, with friends, family and peers.  You're organized, tidy and free of clutter bogging you down. You're healthy, fit and flexible.  .........

As always, we are governed by the releases that come in every month; we've certainly had our fair share this time of ambient, symphonic, neo-classical & experimental stuff for this podcast. In addition to what would have been Vangelis's 80th birthday, there are tributes from Michael Neil on his album ‘Into Infinity', & Aural Films, with thirty-seven artists from around the world who have contributed their own reflections on his vast career, four & half hours of music, we've selected four tracks from this special collection titled ‘Tears In The Rain'. Someone you may not have heard of, Philip Jeck, who died last year, worked with old records and record players salvaged from junk shops. He really did play them as musical instruments, genuinely creating moving and transfixing music where we hear the art, not the gimmick. On the album ‘Stardust' he collaborated with Faith Coloocia. QUOTE OF THE DAY: I get to feel warmly towards people because I really like the feeling of feeling warmly towards people. I'm not giving that up cheap. - Michael Neill In this episode of “Dream it! Dare it! Do it! Live the Life You Want!” I am speaking with Michael Neil, the person who inspired me to attain my certification as a transformative coach and the one who continues to inspire my work and life with his words and wisdom. In this episode, Sam and I discuss anxiety and the false narrative we tell ourselves.  Sam Led is a transformational coach, podcaster, and author of his soon to be released book spring/summer 2022, "Fearless"  Combining his studies from the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University, Sam shares a groundbreaking new understanding that has helped thousands of people tap into their natural innate health and resilience so they n overcome anxiety, fear, and unhealthy habits without strategies, techniques, or willpower. Sam has become a powerful conduit for those wishing to recover and flourish successfully from any major life setback or loss in their lives. After being misdiagnosed multiple times by well-meaning mental health professionals, I was final diagnosed with ADHD and experienced severe anxiety for over two decades. I was suffering silently. Then in 2005, after a series of traumatic events that lead me down a rabbit hole, I finally began to “see” that the nature of my suffering was made up and illusory. That I was one thought away from mental wellbeing (as we all are). That we are not living in a world of our outside circumstances, but we are living 100% in a world made up of thought. That the truth to who we are is below the noise." Gary (Breads, my meandering conversation-partner of this podcast episode) volunteers as an interfaith chaplain at a local hospital, something that has us diving deep into the concept (? Is that what it is?) of connection. When I did SuperCoach Academy in 2014, one of four weekends was dubbed connection weekend. The message from Michael Neil was that connection is already there. It's not something we have to create, because it is the base, always and already there. Gary gave me some tankespjärn when it comes to connection, because I've been confusing it with the pull of wanting connection. Now and again, Gary comes across a patient at the hospital who asks him to leave their room, they are not interested in his offering of presence, silence, prayer, conversation, or whatever it might be. The push of not wanting connection, in essence, and Gary said But that's still connection. Regardless if it's a pull towards or a push to put more distance between you, it's still all about connection. Huh! I found that so interesting. What Gary does when a patient is clear in asking him to leave again, is honor them. That's the best way he can show respect to them, by honoring their wishes. Listening to Gary speak about what might happen within him when this occurs, makes me treasure him even more, as it's so apparent that he does his homework. If someone asks him to leave, that's all about them, but it might well be a trigger for something within Gary to open up. Being rejected. Not wanted. Perhaps feeling insignificant or without value. Tending to himself, not in that moment, because he's there in a professional context (regardless of being a volunteer or not), but not pushing it to the side. It's important to deal with our own stuff, also because it helps keep us resourced to manage similar situations in the future, possibly minimizing the trigger-effect. As a professional coach, I always meet with potential clients before agreeing to work together. In essence, we are both auditioning for each other, because I want the pull to be there. For both of us. But not all professions have this opportunity. A teacher is to teach all the students placed in his or her class. A physician is faced with the patients that cross their path, and they are bound by the hippocratic oath to tend to them. Regardless if the connection, always and already present, gives off vibes that repels or draws closer. That's where the professional floor, that me and Frank spoke about in episode 17, is so crucial. Where in your life are you faced with having to step up to this professional floor, regardless if you want to or not? Now there's some tankespjärn for you. This may be with themselves, their partner, their children, their mother. Anyone. Fiona believes that most of us underestimate the power and impact of the way we relate to others. And it simply comes from a misunderstanding of how we work as human beings.  When we can understand how we work, it changes the way we turn up in the world. "It's NOT our circumstances that determine our reality, but we all lives our lives as if it is. This is a misunderstanding believing that our well being is determined by something outside of us." Fiona teaches what is known as 'inside/out thinking' in that our reality can only come from within us.  "Every feeling we have comes from a thought, and our feelings are what determines our experience." Fiona shares her personal story, of how with two very young children she had to flee from an abusive marriage. The relationship with her ex continued to destroy her and even threatened to destroy her second marriage. Until she had this insight that her reality was being shaped by the attention she was paying to the thinking that wasn't helping her. "The more skeptical we become of our thinking, the more freedom we have. It's people who are very married to their thinking that struggle the most." How does change really work? "Human beings create long term sustainable change through the gift of insight. We don't change it by willpower or simply changing our behaviour. That doesn't last.. it lasts only as long as you're applying yourself." Fiona and I talk about how 'labels' are unhelpful. You may have insecure or anxious thinking, but you're not an insecure or anxious person.  "Everybody has anxious thinking, but some people have more habitual anxious thinking than others." "When you're not resisting your thinking, your thinking automatically shifts." How this insight has influenced Fiona's parenting.  The myth of perfectionism - in parenting and in life in general, and why it never helps us. **** Fiona mentions: Ted talk by Michael Neil, Why Arn't We Awesomer. This time around on Coopercast, your hosts Bobby Hazzard, (of Spring Break Forever) his royal consort Ms. Hazzard, and the Naschycast’s Troy Guinn first give you our eyewitness, up close and personal accounts of Alice’s two historic reunion performances with his former Alice Cooper Band cronies in Nashville this past May of 2017. Alice, Dennis, Michael & Neil seem to be having a grand ol’ time together, recording some new material for Alice’s new studio release and getting all of us to cross our fingers in hopes of a full reunion tour.                 With that in mind, it seemed topical and sensible to do a show that spotlights the time when Alice and the band had freshly parted ways. Alice was taking a path into Nightmare, Hell, asylums and, oh yes: MEGA-STARDOM while mssrs. Dunaway, Smith, and Bruce were just trying to scratch out a place to rock and roll (and dress as robots and fight onstage, as you do) and step out from under Alice’s boozy shadow.                The result? The Billion Dollar Babies and their lone opus, BATTLE AXE. Listen in on our examination of the Alice Cooper Band’s hard-to-find post-Alice album, as well as the extra tracks from the sessions. We discuss why the project ultimately failed, how a factor here and there might have helped it succeed, and most importantly, help you decide if YOU should put the time into tracking down this elusive, forgotten effort. Because, as always, we at the Coopercast are your guide to all things ALICE!

This week's show is with Elizabeth Lovius. Elizabeth has always been interested in making things work better. In her early career at IBM, with a background in training, quality management and process improvement she went on a journey to discover what makes people perform at their peak. Committed to life long learning, Elizabeth has since trained with and been mentored by some of the world's leading coaches. In the early 90s, at a time when coaching practice was still emerging, she was apprentice to two pioneer coaches and authors: original Inner Game sports coach and co-inventor of the GROW model Alan Fine and internationally renowned transformative mastercoach Michael Neil. Today Elizabeth is a practitioner of the pioneering work of Sydney Banks, the 3 principles of human experience and she helps leaders develop creative and practical solutions to real life leadership situations.  In this show we explored personality types, that age old question of "Who am I" and whether there's something before our personalities... some kind of true essence. What you'll learn from this episode: Humans are often driven to figure out the answer to the question 'Who am I? which can lead us down the path of taking personality tests such as the Enneagram, Belbin and Myers Briggs. These tests aren't really answering that question but they do reflect our thoughts and beliefs at that time. We all have a 'true essence', who we came into the world as babies that's before our personalities and thoughts.  There are many 'channels' that are available to us, we aren't limited to live life only through our personality type channel for example, there's so many other channels to explore!
