Например: угрюмую надежду в композиции The Storm Will Pass Джонса, сладость и тоску Escapatoria Джордана и душевное празднование The Art of Blakey басиста.

"My One and Only Love" Rodney Jordan - Christian Fabian: Conversations (Spice Rack Records, 2021) Rodney Jordan, Christian Fabian. Throwing stones from glass houses; judging any and everything; having an opinion but at the same time not wanting a response. This is the day and age we are living in. Tune in to hear host, Tomeria Jordan, and Special Guests, Rodney Jordan and Tammy Gaitor along with several live audience members discussing this very timely topic. It's a show you don't want to miss. It's definitely very thought provoking with several real life examples, personal reflection and lots of laughs.
Years ago, men left the house for work and women stayed at home caring for children and the household. Generally, women cooked, cleaned, did laundry, and made sure their children had at least the bare necessities (food, water, shelter, and clean clothes). Men provided the finances, while women provided the nurturing. However, times have changed. Now, if parents stay together, they both work to ensure their families have everything they need and as much of their wants as possible. Even if moms are single, they still work and in some cases, more than one job. With this, we have seen a shift in how women think, approach life, and respond to different situations. If you ask them, most women will tell you, "I don't need a man to take care of me." Is this fact or fiction? How did we get here? What does it mean? Has it hurt or helped our society? How do or should a man respond to this notion? Join Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan for another thought-provoking conversation on relationships, individuality, self-love, and independence! Romans 13:1 - "For there is no power, but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." He is able to give us power because he is the one who possesses the power. As we continue to read the thirteen chapter of Romans we see that it is of God's will for us to receive his power, but if we resist it, trouble is on the way. In verse 7 we learn that it is appropriate to give people the respect and honour they have earned. God wants us who are chosen to higher places to receive the same reverence. Finally, owe no man anything but to love one another (verse 8). Join Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan for another Live Episode of the Butterfly Evolution Show. Dying to live, has anything separated you from the love of God?
Last week's show was so powerful, we had to do a Part II. Our children, especially minorities and those who live in poverty are being put into a position to fail by local, state, and national governments. As school punishments become harsher — and especially as they increasingly involve police — they create a pathway for students to get involved in the criminal justice system fairly early on in their lives, which can heighten the risk of delinquent or criminal activity in the future. (For one, a criminal record makes it harder to get and hold down a legal means of income.) And since black kids are disproportionately affected, this pipeline reflects the broader racial disparities in the criminal justice system as a whole. Boys with imprisoned fathers are much less likely to possess the behavioral skills needed to succeed in school by the age of 5, a study published in Sociological Science found. Black children, who are more likely to have imprisoned fathers, are therefore more likely to be set on a bad course before they start kindergarten. Dying to live ~ When are we going to stop using our children as puppets on social media and actually get involved in their well-being? The time we spend posting pictures of their back to school outfits on Facebook and Instagram could be used to combat social injustice and educational inequality in our society. Tammy Gaitor, Rodney Jordan, and special guest, Mia Moore, will discuss this hot topic on the next Live Episode of the Butterfly Evolution Show, Tuesday, October 2, 2018. “The cost of raising a child just went up!” According to the Department of Agriculture, middle class parents will spend roughly $233, 610 raising one child from birth until the age of eighteen. http://time.com/money/4629700/child-raising-cost-department-of-agriculture-report/. That’s about $13,153.53 per year. The United States spends $13,119.00 to educate one child per year https://nces.ed.gov/fastfacts/display.asp?id=66 but $148,767 to incarcerate one youth per year. https://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/data-mine/2014/12/09/what-youth-incarceration-costs-taxpayers Wait? What? Something is not adding up here! When we spend over eleven times as much money incarcerating our children than we do educating them, we have a serious problem in our society. With so many mentor programs, church outreach centers, and non-profit organizations, how is it that we continue to lose our kids to drugs, violence, and other criminal activities? Maybe if we invested more money and resources in education, we wouldn’t have to put so much into the prison industry. Dying to live ~ when are we going to make the well-being of our children our top priority instead of using them as another way to generate revenue? Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan will discuss this hot topic on the next Live Episode of the Butterfly Evolution Show, Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Do you ever feel like your family and friends have no problem supporting celebrities, or strangers but find every excuse possible when it comes to helping you promote your business, book, or next event? How often do they share posts, promotions, or videos on social media and none of them are related to your latest project? Why do they pay top dollar for others’ products and services, but ask you for a freebee? Unfortunately, we probably all know someone who is trying to reach their goals and is struggling to gain the necessary support of those who claim to love them, or have their back. There is a reason why the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. Join Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan on the next episode of the Butterfly Evolution Show as we unravel this mindboggling issue in our society. Dying to live, what’s holding you back from supporting those closest to you? To be a part of the show, please follow the link or dial 818-691-7406 to listen by phone.
Rodney Jordan, a new assistant principal in Fairfax, VA, discusses the relationship between new administrators and new educators and offers his insights on transitioning from a teaching position to an administrative position.
Tired of Being Black offers a fresh perspective on the negative struggles and stereotypes of the black race from a man who personified most of them growing up and then turned his life around to become a public school teacher, a basketball coach, and a positive role model to hundreds of students and athletes. In his book, Jordan draws heavily from his experiences growing up in an urban black neighborhood largely defined by gunshots, violence, stolen cars, teen pregnancy, and welfare. Raised with two brothers and a sister by a single Mom, Rodney disrespected and rebelled against all authority figures in his life, eventually finding himself forced out of the house at the age of twelve. Jordan was faced with transforming his life or continuing on the path of so many he knewthe path to prison. With refreshing honesty, Tired of Being Black exposes negative stereotypes that black males like the young Rodney Jordan often perpetuate through their actions, reactions and lack of actions. The books free verse format makes it an easy--but powerful-- read for young men and women of all races who want to understand how cultural perceptions can be formed through the eyes of those looking in from the outside.
A woman’s right to choose has been a controversial topic in the United States over the past few years. Some feel that abortion is a crime while opponents argue that a woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body. Regardless of where Americans stand on this issue, there’s a different twist in Sweden. According to the Liberal Youth of Sweden (LUF) West, a liberal party in Sweden, “men should be allowed to opt out of their responsibility to raise an unborn child up to the eighteenth week of the mother’s pregnancy. The father would lose all of his rights but wouldn’t have to pay child support. Believe it or not, there are people who support the plan. Do you? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/03/08/men-should-have-the-right-to-abort-responsibility-for-an-unborn-child-swedish-political-group-says/?utm_term=.b51c19a21880 Join Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan for another live episode of the Butterfly Evolution Show, Monday, January 29, 2018 @ 9p.m. EST. We want to hear from you. Should men have this right? Why or why not? What if the man wants to keep the baby but the woman decides to abort it? How does this relate to equal opportunity or equal rights for both men and women? Could this eventually be a practice/law in the United States? How would it change the culture in America? What message does this send to the child? With so many layers to unravel, we want to dig a little deeper than the obvious—men and women should take care of, raise, and support their children. Six years ago on June 4th 2011, Chetiqua Beard and I joined forces to begin a transformation journey. Through the Butterfly Evolution Radio Broadcast we wanted to create a platform that would help people transform and awake to their authentic self. However, what we quickly learned is that we were the people; yes the PEOPLE in need of this awakening. After a few years of broadcasting, Chetiqua decided to pursue a different path and relocated to TX; this move bringing fourth new adventures and challenges forced her to resign as Co-Host. Shortly thereafter, a Saturday drive allowed it possible for me to connect with Rodney Jordan, and the rest is history. Rodney joined as Co-Host and has played a key role in keeping the vision going. Join us tonight Monday June 5th as we ALL connect to discuss our favorite past shows, our pursuit for our personal passion and the vision for Butterfly Evolution Radio. Life is a journey that we must be willing to show up for. It is not an easy journey but a journey worth taking. Join us tonight at 8 PM CST. The great enemy to transforming is the conformity to this world, a desire to be socially accepted, the denial of personal truth and the inability to accept complete responsibility for who you are and your current state. In spite of living in a microwave world where the ego is consistently competing for attention and everything is accessible, accepted and permissible the majority continue to feel disconnected, consistently depressed, confused and without purpose and passion for life. This broadcast will feed your soul and provide information that will assist you in reconnecting with yourself and your truth in order to transform and ignite personal passion for your life's purpose. In delivery Rodney Jordan and Tammy Gaitor will use the bases of Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, acceptable and the perfect will of God. What are patterns of this world? How to determine if you are conformed to the world? How to renew the mind? Join the conversation Monday January 9th at 8 PM CST. On This Episode of The Beautiful Butterfly Radio Show we Welcome Special Guest Rodney Jordan as we discuss " Why Parents Should be Involved in Their Childs Education". Alot of parents do not often understand how their involvement with their child determines how well their child does in school. Meet Our Guest Rodney Jordan: Teacher, Author, and Activist Rodney Jordan is no stranger to education reform or social transformation. After once being the child no teacher wanted in their classrooms, he is now the teacher whom all students want to be in his. Jordan set out on a course of rebellion at an early age. Against the backdrop of a city racked with crime and despair, he found himself in a world of trouble early on. Whether it was repeating the seventh, eighth, and ninth grades, constantly ending up in the principal’s office, or just hanging out with the wrong crowd, the young Rodney Jordan appeared to be on the path of so many he knew—the path to prison. Finally, after numerous disciplinary infractions in school, repeated incorrigibility offenses at home and in the community, he was forced out of his single mother’s residence at the age of twelve. To the surprise of many, the troubled African American teen went on to graduate from high school but didn’t stop there. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Norfolk State University in 2008, Rodney Jordan continued his education at George Mason University where he earned a master’s degree in new professional studies in teaching in 2011. As an educator, Jordan has taught math, science, social studies, reading, writing, and engineering irrespectively to second, fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth graders. He has also published two books, Tired of Being Black and From the Heart of a Teacher.
I recently read a face book post of a friend lost in thought about the meaning of life. This public thought quickly became a private one directing me in thought about the course and path of my life. I pondered asking the question “had I myself discovered the meaning of life” or was I yet on the journey of discovering the meaning of my life. I am a believer that opportunities to change the course of our lives and discover purpose and passion for that purpose present itself daily. In order to take advantage of this opportunity one must be willing to say “NO MORE” to people, things and life as he / she knows it. Prepare to join the powerful and life changing discussion with Rodney Jordan and Tammy Gaitor-Miller on the Butterfly Evolution Show. No more fear - No more shame No more guilt - No more procrastination No more lying to self - No more saying yes when everything within is saying no No more feeling unworthy - No more down playing life What will you say NO MORE to? - Who will you say NO MORE to? Some say, "what you don't know, can't hurt you." Do you know your rights? What should you do if you are ever stopped or approached by a law enforcement officer? Racial tension is growing in America largely because of the media coverage of black males being killed by white police officers. However, there is more to the story than us outsiders actually know...until now! Join host Tammy Gaitor and co-host Rodney Jordan as the Butterfly Evolution show welcomes Retired Police Chief Robert Moore for a "not to be missed" episode Monday, February 8, 2016. From the cotton fields of Mississippi to a presidential appointment by former United States president, Bill Clinton, Chief Moore served as the U.S. Marshal for the central district of Illinois. After a successful tenure, he returned to Jackson, Mississippi as the Chief of Police. Little did he know, he would have to fire an officer his first day on the job. "We know that there are bad cops patrolling your neighborhoods. We want them off of your streets just as bad as you do but you all are not helping us," he recently told a crowd of anxious young people at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Chief Robert Moore is the author of the new history book, "The President's Men: Black United States Marshals in America. He is also well known for his numerous published articles in police magazines covering a wide range of topics including, Strategies for Increasing Black Executives, Racial Profiling, History of the Minority Police Officers in Illinois State Police, Solving the crisis of Black Youth in America. Principle is defined as a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning. Sounds a bit difficult, right? Let's try this definition: Fundamental norms, rules, or values that represent what is desirable and positive for a person, group, organization, or community, and help it in determining the rightfulness or wrongfulness of its actions. Based on these definitions, do principles exist? What are significant principles to live by? How important are life principles and how does one know what their personal principles are and live from them? Many are lost or caught up in the world’s principles and continue to find themselves feeling empty. Come grow with us! Join Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan for an empowering night. Summit organizer, host, moderators, and panelists will finalize details before Saturday's major event! Individuals can ask questions, make comments, or just say hello. Title: From the Heart of a Teacher Education Summit When: Saturday, September 26, 2015 Where: George Mason University (Prince William Campus) Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Theme: 'Highlighting Critical Issues in Education' Overview: According to a study by Media Matters in 2014, only about 9% of the people talking about education on major cable networks have ever been educators. Are these media outlets trying to avoid the ugly truth? People don't call mechanics when they need legal advice nor do they call sanitation workers when they need medical assistance. Somehow, America calls on everyone to discuss education, except educators. Well, that will change on September 26, 2015. Teacher, author, and motivational speaker Rodney Jordan is bringing panelists from around the country to Northern Virginia to talk about relevant educational issues from a different perspective. There will be food, vendors, and a whole lot more. Registration is FREE and open to the public!!!

Butterfly Evolution is turning the mic over to Amber Ivy and Jeremy Johnson/Blackout Media. Blackout Media reports... According to the New Pittsburgh Courier and Free Press, there were some 18 black-owned stations in 2006, only 1.3% of all TV stations. In 2012 that number dropped to 5 and by 2013 it was zero due to buyouts by larger companies. It is painful to see how our black brothers and sisters are portrayed on the news, television, and even movies. In 2015, directors continue to deal with systematic issues that cause black films with good storylines to not get funded because there is not a market for "good black films". We have a trillion dollar buying power, so guess what WE are the market FOR? Join us as we discuss blacks in media and changing the narrative. We will also discuss the Black America 2.0 campaign to blackout media starting in May. Any media that continuously shows blacks in less than desirable light, we encourage you to stop watching. Yes to include, Hip Hop and Reality TV. Join Butterfly Evolution in welcoming Blackout Media, Host, Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan are looking forward to this discussion. In pursuit of answers and solutions, educators will provide an in-depth analysis and insightful perspectives on the factors and variables that determine a student’s future. YOU MUST BECOME UNLEARNED.... A few years ago, I met a young man who expressed to me that he heard the voice of God tell him that he must become unlearned. Rarely do we think about unlearning or detaching ourselves from all that we think or believe to be true. Becoming unlearned has been something I have thought about since the time I heard it; I worked to make this applicable in my life. We have been taught how to live and embrace life through teachings, experiences, environment and what we have seen with our very own eyes. Matthew 18:3 “Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Unlearning is not about write or wrong but about letting go and being open to exploring life to the fullest regardless of what you have been taught or what you have seen. It is about a renewed faith and knowledge of self. One has to be willing to learn as they experience the journey of becoming unlearned. YOUR NEED TO BE ENTERTAINED in the eyes of many is viewed as an addictive but legal drug that keeps most of society on a superficial high. It is said that the more entertained one is or the more one feels the need to be entertained, the less thinking he/she does. Americans are seen as the most entertained but the least educated people. On a previous Butterfly Evolution show, Greg Whittaker, one of our most powerful guests asked a very important question “Why do people need to be entertained?” – The world is constantly entertaining us through television, social media, i-pods and i-pads, smart phones and much more. Most people spend every hour being entertained. Dr. Winter in his book “Still Bored In A Culture Of Entertainment” says the average person has 33,000 of leisure hours than a person in the mid-1800’s. But back to the question..... “Why do we constantly need to be entertained?” How or does entertainment affect us emotionally, financially and/or socially? Singer John Mayer sings the lyrics of the song “DAUGHTERS” “I know a girl she puts the color in my world. Fathers Be Good To Your Daughters; Daughters will love like you do… Girls become lovers who turn into mothers. FATHERS – A DAUGHTERS FIRST LOVE – There is a supernatural connection between fathers and daughters that we can no longer ignore. If we want this society, young girls and women to elevate spiritually emotionally, educationally, socially and physically we must make the most of our MEN and our FATHERS…. What happens when a young lady feels as though she never knew and never will really know her first love? Many women young and old live with this question daily and the number daughters who are experiencing emotional dis-function and bondage due to the absence of the biological “Father” have significantly increased. This emotional pain is simply indescribable and has caused young girls to live a life of self-destruction, felling un-worthy of real love and happiness. The feelings of abandonment, insecurities and rejection are their norm. The situation has become so wide spread that it is necessary that we now have Prison Father Daughter Dances. This dance is to unite incarcerated fathers the opportunity to spend time with their grieving daughters. Join Butterfly Evolution in welcoming Brianna Woods to the show to discuss “FATHERS – A DAUGHTER’S FIRST LOVE” Listen to the show by calling 818-691-7406 or listen on line @ www.blogtalkradio.com/butterflyevolution
What is LOVE; has anyone ever been able to define love in a manner that explains or helps one understand the feelings and emotions associated with being in LOVE? The Bible explainsLOVE as: patient, kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, Webster definesLOVE as a feeling of strong and constant affection for a person; attraction that includes sexual desire; the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship. Scientists explains it has been discovered that the same chemical process that takes place with addiction takes place when we fall in LOVE & that LOVE is a chemical state of mind that’s part of our genes and influenced by our upbringing. Join Butterfly Evolution for this and much more Monday August 4th @ 8 pm CST. Rodney Jordan and Tammy Gaitor discuss LOVE in great detail. Does everyone have a soul mate? What happens in our bodies that makes us fall in LOVE and ensures that we remain in LOVE? What attracts us to someone? Does LOVE change things or does LOVE change people? Many want LOVE, live for LOVE but have no idea what LOVE is and what it takes to receive and give unconditional LOVE. HOLIER THAN THOU? Join Butterfly Evolution with Host Tammy Gaitor and Rodney Jordan for what will be one of the most powerful conversations to date. Why, because in today’s society many people are SPIRITUALLY DROWNING. During a past show “I Can’t Pimp You, If You Don’t Want To Be Pimped” Host Rodney Jordan commented as follows: Christians - Non Christians, Catholics, Baptist... What ever your religion may be, have gotten so far away from God but so into the world… Many are more religious than God is? They focus on so many things that God does not focus on.. Tune in as we discuss the Holier Than Thou Journey. What is the Journey? How does one get caught up and find themselves on this journey? Are you one of them or perhaps know one of them? We get so caught up in the do’s, don’ts; rules, regulations and the legalistic religion journey and in many cases miss the necessary journey. An old co-worker had a saying… He would speak in an asking way…. Pimpin wearing you or you wearing the pimpin Tammy… For some reason I took a liking to my co-worker’s saying. It was much about his timing as well. Many things are about timing and it is time that we have a conversation about what so many are talking about, thinking about and/or asking about. Pulpit Pimping… What is it? Who’s doing it? But more importantly are you being pimped? If so, is it maybe because you want to be. This is a sensitive topic because for some their Pastors have become their God and for this reason in many cases these people will do for the pastor what they will not do for “God” Join us… Tammy Gaitor & Rodney Jordan welcomes Corrie Bornds as our special co-host. Mr. Bornds is known for his straight to the point conversation about this subject. True or False: I CAN’T PIMP YOU IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE PIMPED! The show airs Monday June 30th @ 8 pm CST. Many are asleep to the discrimination that takes place in the African American culture. No this is not about the feelings of other races towards Blacks, however, it is about Black on Black Racism. It is time we discuss the hatred one has for his brother or sister simply because the color of his or her skin. It is time we discuss how women hate on women in some cases simply because the color of her skin or the texture of her hair. It is time we discuss how some women discriminate against brothers simply because he has a darker completion. Where does this generate from? Is it the roots that encourages a young child to choose a white doll oppose to one that is familiar and resembles her? Can we discuss this issue and work to move past it? Can we move past it? Are we prepared to own up to our accountability and responsibility for the issues today? Is it possible that our own jealousies and unwillingness to support one another is a major part of the downfall? Is it possible that you internal self-hatred and lack of love for yourself is part of the issue? Join Tammy Gaitor, Author, Rodney Jordan and Vall Lott as a special guest Monday June 23rd @ 8 pm CST. We will discuss and share our personal stories about this issue as well as possible solutions. Listen by calling in at 818-691-7406 or selecting this link. Dying To Live - What's Holding You Back?

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER Butterfly Evolution welcomes Author Rodney Jordan back to the show! TIRED OF BEING BLACK offers a fresh perspective on the struggles and stereotypes of the black race from a man who personified most of them growing up but then turned his life around to become a school teacher, a basketball coach and a positive role model to hundreds of students and athletes. Yet there are some that expect Rodney to speak a certain way, to dress a certain way and to be a father to many but a husband to none. In his literary work, Jordan draws heavily from his experiences growing up in an urban area largely defined by drugs, violence, teen pregnancy, and welfare. Jordan disrespected and rebelled against all authority figures in his life which led to him being forced out of his mother's home at the age of twelve. Tired of being Black exposes negative stereotypes that Black Males like the young Rodney Jordan often perpetuate through their actions, reactions and lack of actions. Men and Women of all races, grab as many young people as possible and join us Monday February 17th at 8PM CST. Listen by calling 818-691-7406 or by selecting this link.
