Every Kid Outdoors Program: Free Access for Fourth Graders Fourth-grade students and their families can enjoy free access to over 2,000 federal recreation areas through the Every Kid Outdoors Program. This initiative, supported by multiple agencies including the Department of the Interior and the U.S. Forest Service, aims to foster a love for nature and the outdoors in children at a crucial developmental stage. Why Fourth Grade? Research shows that children around the age of 10 are particularly receptive to learning about the environment and developing a deeper connection with nature. By offering free access to fourth graders, the program seeks to ensure that every child in the U.S. has the chance to explore and appreciate our natural heritage. What's Included The program provides a voucher or pass granting free entry to fourth graders, all children under 16 in their group, and up to three accompanying adults (or an entire car for drive-in parks) to most federally managed lands and waters. While it covers entrance fees, additional charges for amenities like camping or boat rides are not included. Love, Lust, Trust & Going Bust on Wheels, my Charming Prince Max & my attempt to “celebrate” our 31st Wedding Anniversary with a "Great RV Adventure” turns into a big MISadventure. Warning: Explicit Conversations About Politics, Culture, & Sexuality! The best-laid plans may not get you laid the way you planned… & the flimsier your plans, the more likely they'll fall through rather than come true. Of course, “the goal is the journey” & there were a few fabulous moments—& lots of love (always love)—on this ill-fated (& mostly unplanned) voyage from Bonoboville to nowhere & back. Hop on the Love Train & listen to the gory, glorious & hilarious details. Let's just say, I'm glad abortion's still legal in Cali, but an aborted anniversary celebration was not on my wish list. And I'm really glad that we followed our other motto, “Make Love First to Make Love Last” or we'd still be horny. Speaking of horns, Brady calls in as “Hannah” (doing Digital Drag) to discuss the different horned & horny reincarnations of Pan from the Church-demonized Satan to Baphomet revered by the Medieval Knights Templar to horny housewives to horny old goats--& then Kdot tries to get my goat—though the consensus is that I'm The G.O.A.T... Baaaah! Of course, we talk longterm love and marriage (great for us, but not for everybody & there's nothing wrong with being single, poly, etc.) on this show as well as the mounting horrors of all the wars (at home in our streets & supermarkets) & abroad as the American War Machine fights on (though I'm starting to think Putin's on Lockheed Martin's payroll) + Why THEY Make Us CONSUME at the Company Store; What Makes a Great Threesome; How to Heal Performance Anxiety; Quentin Tarantino's Erotophobic Foot Fetish; Vice TV's “Sex Before the Internet” with me talking HBO's “Real Sex”; Dating vs. Marriage; YouTube Still Censoring Me & Many Others; Make Kink Not War; Make Love Not War; Go Bonobos & Stop the Killing; Spread the Wealth; F*ck Da Rich; Eat The Rich; Be Bonobo & Follow The Bonobo Way of Female Empowerment, Male Well-Being, Sharing, Caring, Bonobo Conflict Resolution & Peace through Pleasure; from the Capitalocene to the Bonobocene… with a lot more Happy Endings! Did you know that when you dare to try a wild nail color or cool design that you are embracing that life is an adventure? It's an easy, fun way to get outside our comfort zone and see that it's not as scary out there as we make it. What if you lived in that mindset zone all the time? Today's gal pal is here to share what it's like and the impact it's made on her life, relationships, and business.Kim Brundage is an award-winning branding photographer. Alright friends. It has been over a year since Sam and I decided to sell our house, most of our belongings, and hit the road in an RV. We made the decision to do so at the end of May in 2020. I did a podcast episode on that decision here.Since then, a lot has happened. Like a LOT. And even more that I'll get to at some point. However, from the perspective and experience I have now, I thought it would be fun to review what I loved and loathed about our 10 month RV adventure. And, if you've been here before, you know I will hold very little back...PRODUCTS MENTIONED...BARÙKAS NUTS:barukas.com and use Code: JACLYN for 15% offCONNECT WITH JACLYN:+ Website: jaclynsteele.com+ Instagram: @jaclynsteele+ Youtube: officialjaclynsteele+ Facebook: jaclynsteeleinternational+ Clubhouse: @jaclynsteele+ Sign up for THE SCOOP & get the skinny on the latest wellness, beauty, & self development trends, as well as exclusive email-only content.TEXT ME:+1 480-531-6858 or follow this link. :)SUPPORT THE SHOW:PaypalLight, Love, & Peace,Jaclyn SteeleSupport the show (https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=7SLKVGC37E8SU)

We took an 8 month break (and that's okay in our books!) but now we're back together.... IN PERSON. Vicki has completed her 10+ month U.S.A. RV Adventure and is finally back HOME. About 10 minutes into this episode, Michelle makes Vicki cry by forcing her to listen to an excerpt about having sons and how that's like a slow break-up. So, you know, something every mother wants to hear. We then speak about the Coronavirus (because who isn't?). Michelle spouts a lot of "facts" from CNN (who is she?). Bottom Line: We can't live in fear! But also... wash your hands. Note to Men: When your woman asks if her boobs feel bigger, don't say they feel "wider." Cheating in a loving marriage. Words from Kristen Bell and how we're all really like monkeys. Things We're Loving Is Back: Vicki has been all about Outlander and Fleabag (but really anything that involves Phoebe Waller-Bridge). Michelle's friend (Tiffany Reese) created the Something Was Wrong Podcast and for all of you True Crime Fans, this will be right up your alley. **** Connect with us on Instagram & Twitter: @theumcast Via the web: www.theumcast.com Via email: theumcast@gmail.com Don't forget to subscribe to us on iTunes, rate and review. Have you ever wanted to hit the road in a gorgeous silver Airstream? Well, imagine bundling up all your wordly goods, and with 2 dogs and 2 cats, you and your wife move out of a perfectly good apartment into an RV / caravan / Airstream where you live & work as you travel around the US. Our Guest Nick True did exactly that and shares with us what triggered this somewhat out of left field decision and how it turned out to be even more of an adventure than they expected. Plus, Peita & Hayley dig into how we can reduce the panic that can build in the lead up to big adventures and take a look at Mad Max: Fury Road to see if Furiosa has some tips on how to live life like an Action Hero. Today on the show we have Julie and Jeff Sage-Lauck from the blog { The Joy Ride } who just wrapped up a 1 year RV adventure throughout the United States and parts of Canada with their 2 small kids. Originally from Colorado they moved to Oregon and lived for 5 years before the Rv Adventure. Their life is Portland was good they just both felt it could be more. After a couple of life circumstances seemed to be pointing to this new direction they began to plan and prepare for this big of a trip. Both Julie and Jeff had done traveling before kids and before they got married. So this time they were excited to plan something they knew the kids (and the dog) could enjoy as well! We got to catch up with them near the end of their trip while they were still in Canada and hear about their highs and lows of the trip as well as some lessons they learned along the way. Such a great interview packed with lots of great advice!
Meet Jen's parents. Everyone is a little slap happy and silly after a full day of traveling from West Yellowtone down to Ogden, Utah. Beth gets control of the mic in this episode. Will she let it go, or hang on to it forever?
Jen and Beth recap their adventures through Yellowstone and the Tetons down to Jackson Hole. They also share lessons learned about planning, diet, rental cars, and the challenges of no phone or internet service.

Living an Expat lifestyle and leaving the 9 to 5 routine doesn’t necessarily meaning not exploring your own country as part of the journey. For Alabama native Kyle Brady and his partner Olivia Gould their old lives left them feeling trapped and not going anywhere. They had a desire to see more of their own country – Olivia hadn’t even seen a mountain prior to going! The couple started their planning in September 2014 and after 12 months of downsizing and saving up (they set aside $300 per week by, amongst other things, not eating out) they hit the road with their renovated 16 foot RV and haven’t looked back. As Olivia rightly said, “Why live somewhere when you can live everywhere!” We caught up with them at Slab City California where they detailed the process of their planning and preparation and how their Etsy store is able to provide them with enough income to sustain their monthly journey. You can follow their blog at www.drivinandvibin.com and check out their Etsy store at https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheWoodenEarth What I learned from Kyle and Olivia’s interview: Having a vision board (this worked for John and Monika Mundell as well) is a great way to focus on the outcome you want and can be a wonderful reminder when things get tough as to why you are saving money or throwing out that old dress you used to love. It helped having the extra incentive of a free pizza from their friends but is an exercise worth doing yourselves. You can RV with a dog. Although they are restricted from taking their pet into national parks they can generally find somewhere that will mind him for the day while they head off on a trip Check out Etsy as an option for funding your new lifestyle. Like Micah and Jenna Kvidt these guys have found the online world can help fund their lifestyle – in fact the $2000 per month they are making will cover their total costs. If looking to go the Rv route there is a wealth of online information available to help you and Kyle and Olivia have found a supportive network on the road as well. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel when others have the answers for you You can work RVing to your budget. These guys spend mostly on camping and food however there are places you can camp for free and they are self-sufficient with cooking. They can slow the speed of travel to save on gas. You don’t have to leave the country to enjoy an expat lifestyle. Like Chuck and Lori Ros and Heath Padgett Kyle and Olivia have learned to appreciate what their own country has to offer. Every country is an expat community to somebody!
Today we hear from the Boyink family. They left 'suburbia' four years ago and haven't looked back! They've been able to spend the last several years criss-crossing the USA and exploring as they go. They had a lot of great advice on how they made it happen, how they support themselves on their travels and how it's affected their children.
