Il 2024 è stato un anno di stabilità per Volkswagen. Con circa 120mila unità vendute in Italia, il brand tedesco è stato il terzo marchio in termini di immatricolazioni e ha potuto contare anche su un buon rinnovamento di prodotto. Quello da poco trascorso è stato infatti l'anno della nuova Tiguan ma anche del restyling di T-Cross e Golf, tornata sul mercato con grande energia. Il 2025 non sarà comunque da meno sul versante lanci: è in arrivo a marzo Volkswagen Tayron, un suv Made in Germany che si colloca in gamma tra Tiguan e Touareg - spiega Andrea Alessi, direttore di Volkswagen Italia.

Volkswagen Group Africa (VWA) will hopefully this year receive the final confirmation on the production of a third model at the Kariega plant, says MD Martina Biene. This third model will add to production of the Polo and Polo Vivo at the Eastern Cape production site. Biene emphasises that this third model will be "on top" of the other two models, and that it will not replace any existing production units. The third model is expected to be a small, more affordable sports-utility vehicle (SUV), slotting in under the T-Cross. A possible fourth model could potentially be a half-ton bakkie. Biene says the third model will also be an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle, and not an electric vehicle (EV), as the uptake of EVs has been "very slow" in South Africa, with zero government support to boost the sale of this new technology. She adds that a swing to EV production at Kariega could potentially see Volkswagen lose its leading position in the local market, and "we don't want that to happen". "If we produce EVs here, we need strong local demand." Biene says she also expects the ramp-up to the phase-out of ICE vehicles in Europe in 2035 - a big export market for VWSA - to be less steep than originally anticipated, providing the company some breathing room with Polo exports. VWSA expects to still produce and export the current Polo and Polo Vivo until 2029. The Polo Vivo is exported to some sub-Saharan African markets, while the Polo is exported to numerous markets abroad. VWA produced 140 430 vehicles last year - 7 182 more than in 2022. Production is expected to grow by 10 000 units this year on the back of expanded Polo numbers. Polo exports already increased by 3 500 units last year, to 101 557 units. Combined domestic Volkswagen and Audi sales reached 67 411 units last year. The Vivo was the group's best-seller, at 23 904 units, up 15% on 2022 numbers. Looking ahead, Biene says VWA will introduce the new and refreshed T-Cross, Tiguan, Touareg and Crafter models this year. The ID.4 EV will also make its debut as part of a test fleet, which should give VWA the opportunity to test the local appetite for EVs. Looking at the South African new-car market for 2024, VWA is positive that sales could increase by 6.4% compared with last year, to 370 000 units.

Un 1.0 TSI tricilíndrico de acceso, con 95 o 110 caballos, y el más potente 1.5 TSI de 150. Las caja de cambio pueden ser manuales de cinco y seis velocidades, o la automática de doble embrague DSG. El consumo homologado es 6,1 l/100 km y su precio parte desde los 26.475 euros. Os contamos también como Citroën celebra el 30º aniversario del Xantia, que fue lanzado el 4 de marzo de 1993. Un modelo exitoso capaz de vender 1.300.000 ejemplares entre 1993 y 2002 en Europa. Pero os contaremos como también se vendió en China o en Irán. Se trata del sucesor del BX. VW felt that the rules only allowed the federal government to make claims for damages under the Clean Air Act. German carmaker Volkswagen hopes to partially reopen its plant in Spain’s Navarra region on April 20 after its closure in mid-March due to the coronavirus outbreak, a spokesman for the plant said on Tuesday.The plant in northern Spain should reopen with one of its three daily shifts operating during four days in the first week, and the goal is to extend it to two shifts the following week, depending on how well the supply chain works, the spokesman added.All workers would wear masks and gloves, and the plant’s disinfection would be intensified, he added. Charger fans have finally been thrown a bone by SRT in the form of the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, a track-oriented version of the super sedan that mimics the wider stance of last year's Challenger Widebody while bringing some important suspension and performance improvements to the table, too. VOLKSWAGEN TO BECOME A POWER SUPPLIER The Volkswagen Group is establishing a Group company for energy offerings and charging solutions – underlining its strategic goal of becoming a leading provider of sustainable mobility. The new Volkswagen Group company would also offer to customers outside the Group green power from renewable sources that was 100 percent CO2-neutral. They said: “Our mission is to take e-mobility out of its niche and to place it firmly in the mainstream. The name “Elli” stands for “electric life”, because we intend to enable a lifestyle that fully integrates the electric car in people’s everyday lives. This approach could be compared with the use of a mobile phone, which is taken for granted nowadays. We will be creating a seamless, sustainable ecosystem that addresses the main applications and provides answers to all the energy questions raised by electric car users and fleet operators.” The company will gradually be building up a portfolio of intelligent power tariffs, Wallboxes and charging stations as well as an IT-based energy management system. @home – charging at home: Smart energy management and photovoltaics A high-end DC charging station with 22 kW can make the electric car an energy storage system and part of the smart grid of the future thanks to bidirectional charging and connection to an energy management system. It will be possible to store power generated by customers’ photovoltaic systems in the car and to use it later in the household – or to feed it to the power grid in order to earn revenue. @destination – charging at the destination: employee parking spaces and Volkswagen partners. This will include the expansion of charging stations at Volkswagen’s own employee car parks from 1,000 today to more than 5,000 by 2020 and the equipment of all 4,000 dealers and service partners in the EU with several charging possibilities, also by 2020. @destination – charging at the destination: fleet customers and chain outlets. According to the automaker, the truck can be configured to go up to 500 miles on electric by selecting the largest battery pack." reports Eric Loveday for InsdieEVs.com: "In addition to the long range, the towing capacity is impressive at up to 35,000 pounds. The payload is listed at up to 5,000 pounds, which is equally high. There’s a standard crew cab with a shorter bed that offers standard air suspension (independent at all four corners) with 12 inches of ground clearance. But for more extreme use, there’s a special “off-road” version with long travel suspension and 15 inches of clearance. As for performance, 0 to 60 MPH is achieved in 5 seconds. However, even a fully loaded Atlis XT can still accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in just 18 seconds. Atlis uses what it calls its XP platform on the XT.
