In the busy and high-stress world of manufacturing, it can be hard to find your focus! What can you do to reset your focus and prioritize what matters most? Find out in this episode of Mindfulness Manufacturing with “Focusologist” Penny Zenker. Penny is as an international speaker, business strategy coach, and bestselling author who has been featured on NBC, Forbes, and more. She is also a leader expert in the psychology of productivity, and works with organizations to maximize results by eliminating perfectionism, distractions, and self-sabotage. In this episode, she shares her three-step process for building a reset mindset aligning yourself with what matters most to you, your team, and the productivity and culture of your organization. 3:46 – Focus always coming back to setting objectives and aligning your actions with those objectives 4:47 – To find your focus, you need to step back, get out of your daily cycle, and reset 5:29 – To engage in reset practice, you have to recognize the trigger for the reset moment and then take a step back to get perspective and realign 7:03 – The more you practice, the easier it is to build a reset mindset 7:53 – If you don't give yourself permission to step back and reset, you increase the risk of errors that can hinder productivity and cause mistakes 8:53 – Taking small break is a way to relearn how to focus 9:30 – Another part of practicing a reset mindset is learning to recognize when something isn't working, like getting rid of an unproductive meeting 11:39 – Stepping back can mean giving up control in some areas 12:14 – Being able to step back creates a culture with less bureaucracy and more trust and autonomy 13:59 – Sometimes we focus on the wrong areas, like focusing on micromanagement when it would be more productive to focus on fostering autonomy 16:30 – A reset mindset starts with creating reset moments for yourself 17:44 – Constantly look for ways to bring out the best in yourself and in others 18:22 – A reset mindset also requires curiosity and a willingness to adapt 21:24 – If one person in an organization can demonstrate a reset mindset, others will learn to do the same Connect with Penny Zenker Visit her website Check out her Take Back Time podcast

Lisa Congdon is back in the windowsill with Margo to share all the fun details on her Rockefeller Center Christmas Art Installation as well as a bit of reflection on 2021 and what she hopes to accomplish in 2022! This installation is part of Art in Focus, a series of art exhibitions produced in partnership with Art Production Fund and is on view around the Rockefeller Center campus through January 9th, 2022. When people open her holiday map or encounter her artwork in the gilded art deco halls of the campus, Congdon aspires for her artwork to spark a sense of wonder, curiosity, and joy that will encourage visitors to explore and discover all the magical places illustrated on the map. “My hope is that people will open the map and squeal, the way you would when you open a children's book,” she said. “I hope that everyone who adventures over there takes away — not just from my decorations and my map, but everything at Rockefeller Center — a sense of warmth and coziness, because we all need that right now.” Lisa and Margo discuss the timeline for this project and others that she works on, the logistics, the satisfaction of quick turnaround times, some ways in which her style has evolved yet is still clearly hers, why delegation has been such a key part in her business this year, how hiring a coach has immensely helped her in her work, and why we should all be taking time to rest during the holidays.  Lisa's art installation, which expands upon the festive imagery of her map, can be spotted throughout the campus. Approximately 30 vinyl murals are installed inside 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and the street and concourse levels of 45 Rockefeller Plaza.   Connect with Lisa: Read more about the Rockefeller Art Installation https://campsite.bio/lisacongdon https://www.instagram.com/lisacongdon/ Art in Focus

Rather, it revolves around seven aspects: professional, family, personal, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. The most common reason you could never seem to balance your time between work and family life is that you shortchange yourself. You neglect the five other critical aspects that make up your life. Medvirkende: Pernille Garde Abildgaard, direktør for Take Back Time, Lau Højen, forsanger i Carpark North, Knud Flensted, biolog og naturpolitisk rådgiver hos Dansk Ornitologisk Forening, Helle Kjær, psykolog og leder af Blå Kors behandlingscenter Taastrup.
