Fin Kennedy is an award-winning playwright, teacher, and university tutor whose plays are regularly produced in the UK and abroad. He specializes in writing for youth and marginalized communities and also teaches, blogs, campaigns, fundraises and dramaturgs other writers, with a particular focus on young people's projects in London's East End. You may recognize her name from being the first Trans bride on TLC's Say Yes to The Dress, but she was trailblazing for years before that: promoting diversity advocacy, LGBTQ rights, environmental justice and more. An award-winning diversity advocate, communications professional, and public speaker, she currently serves as the associate regional communications director at the Sierra Club. She served for three years as the assistant director of diversity recruitment initiatives at Columbia College Chicago, her alma mater, implementing the campus-wide diversity initiative and providing leadership and oversight of national diversity recruitment and inclusion policy initiatives.
