This Journey's End tried to be an emotional Crusher, but it just ended up being a Disaster. They really needed to Troi (Pic)harder. The Emergence of this episode, devoid of Inner Light, will get no Redemption. A very Dark Page in Enterprise history. There will be no Justice for this Too Short a Season, though it should be A Matter of Honor. This is The Price we pay when Yesterday's Enterprise isn't given its Devil's Due. This Final Mission is corrupted by a Future Imperfect, leaving an Identity Crisis and a tarnished Legacy, from which Terry Matalas will learn all the wrong Lessons. The crew of the NX-01, at least The Survivors, In Theory, should be the subject of Hero Worship, not just Relics, A Matter of Time until they become The Outcast. Time for The Big Goodbye. Also The Outrageous Okona, I guess. Oh, this is supposed to be an Enterprise Podcast. What a Conundrum. Oops. Here's episode 100. Yar gonna have a good time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Attached intro and outro music by Iván D. “Whether it be an old trunk or an analog line from our old days to all of the latest integrations, whether via Zoom, Cisco, Teams, just to mention a few, it's one recording platform, one pane of glass view of all of that data consolidated in one place, meeting all of the customers' global needs as far as, you know, compliance is concerned or data sovereignty and having everything in one place,” says Ryan Kahan, CEO at CallCabinet. “One place to manage security, one place to view your calls, playback your calls.” In this podcast, Ryan updates us on how CallCabinet has been bringing that level of management unity, visibility, security and control to the real world of the enterprise where hundreds of sites can be distributed across many different platforms and processes, installed or initiated over different eras by different management teams. “We have customers that are recording everything from Bloomberg turrets to Avaya contact centers to, you know, to Cisco, to Teams, and they record all of that stuff, but there's one place for their compliance data. They log in, they can see exactly what calls were recorded across all the platforms.” We discuss important measures taken to make sure that data and process are compliant with today's more vigorous regulatory environment, and how CallCabinet approaches maintaining the highest possible security. “Crawl, walk, run,” says Josh Robbins of SimpleVoIP. “We build everything through templates. Measure twice, cut once.” In this podcast Robbins discusses the methodical approach his company takes to deploying SimpleVoIP, by careful planning, beginning with a couple of sites out of many and then rolling out a consistent plan. SimpleVoIP specializes in enterprises with multiple sites. Today, these distributed organizations face challenges from migration of updating a company with multiple retail stores and other such business locations in other service industries such as restaurants. “We make it very easy for our customers, we make it easy for our partners.” Elevators and POTS lines We also learn that SimpleVoIP offers solutions for one of the year's harder tests for firms with many legacy locations: POTS lines. City and county regulations have placed a POTS line in most elevators. There are other locations on every enterprise campus that have similar, rarely used, but must be operational lines. We learn how SimpleVoIP has an effective solution for that challenge as well. SimpleVoIP is now a member of the Cloud Communication Alliance. Visit www.simplevoip.com
