Pour one out for Lila Milla Rira. Gen Urobuchi sure will. First Gundam was big on its villain of the week, but a real feature of Zeta was the grunt of the week: a design that isn't even particularly threatening, but shows up like "wow reasonable cool robot" then fades into the background. Of that style, the Galbaldy is one. And yet, there's more going on than you might think. If you want to find us on Twitter, Dylan is @lowpolyrobot and Six is @sixdettmar. Our opening theme is the Hangar Theme from Gundam Breaker 3, and our ending theme for this episode is Hoshizora no Believe by Mami Ayukawa from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. “The Holy Grail will save you.” After finishing up The Garden of Sinners last week, we are taking our first steps into the larger world of Fate/stay night, the most iconic of Kinoko Nasu and Type-Moon's creations, with Fate/Zero, the prequel anime based on the light novel series by Gen Urobuchi. On today's episode, Sean gives us an in-depth introduction to the original Fate/stay night visual novel, all the ways it's been adapted over the years, and tells us how Fate/Zero came about and where it fits into things. Then we discuss the first, double-length episode of the anime, and find that it's not just a great hour of TV, but an excellent stand-alone introduction for anyone (like Jonathan!) who hasn't previously experienced Fate/stay night. Enjoy, and come back next week as we review the rest of Fate/Zero, episodes 2 through 25! This week the class visits an alternate universe with bubbles raining down upon the world that simply just breaks the laws of gravity. With "Bubble" being Netflix's latest installment of anime movies, the class wanted to tune in and see the hype around this visually stunning work of art. "Bubble" is directed by Tetsuro Araki, director of the first seasons of Attack on Titan, from a script by Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero writer Gen Urobuchi, character designs by Death Note co-creator Takeshi Obata, and contains a theme song from popular singer Eve. Studio WIT went above and beyond with their animation for this latest installment but did the story of Bubble live up to the hype of the amazingly animated parkour scenes and vibrant colors that portray this alternate version of Tokyo. Tune in and see what our thoughts are on the latest Netflix anime movie release.

After months of anticipation, we finally get what on paper would seem like the makings of a classic hit. But what we got instead was far from perfect, even with Gen Urobuchi and Tetsuro Araki at the helm. This Netflix original from Studio Wit promised to deliver but did we think it did? Join us for a full review of Bubble! - https://linktr.ee/Otakuhostclub --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and/or Saturday with your friends and loved ones! To celebrate the holiday season, we're covering an entry in the long running Fate franchise for the first time, 2011's Fate/Zero, based on the light novel written by Gen Urobuchi, created by TYPE-MOON and animated by ufotable. Our reasons for making this our Christmas special are flimsy at best, but it has a lot of snow in it so, sue us (please don't, we're poor). Fate/Zero is a prequel series to the story of Fate/stay Night but works as a standalone anime that you can enjoy with any or no familiarity with the Fate series. But is this a good place to start? How does this series hold up 10 years later? Who would we want to summon as Heroic Spirits to fight for us in the Holy Grail War? Find out now! In the pre-show, Austin talks about seeing Macross Plus in theaters, Ryan talks about submitting panels to Momocon 2022, Will talks about watching Miyazaki's films for the first time in order, and other brief non-sequiturs. Enjoy! If you enjoy this or any other episode, leave us a Rating and Review on Apple Podcasts! 10 years ago, a sweet pastel-pink magical girl and her saccharine adventures took the anime world by storm, and then promptly threw us all into a spiral of despair and Love(paper)craftian horror. On this episode, we're talking about the 2011 modern anime classic, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and it's divisive 2013 sequel film Rebellion. Produced by Studio Shaft and written by the now infamous Gen Urobuchi, Madoka set a new standard for the magical girl genre in the 21st century, for better or worse. This week we finish out the 3 disc masterpiece by Yuki Kajiura! We also discuss the musical group Kalafina, the genius behind the musical language "Kaijiuran," and the fact that there's a website dedicated to worshipping Yuki herself. Rightly, so! She's a freaking elegant beast of a musician. Also, Garrett helps us all understand the process of film scoring a bit better, how to make a show more musical and Emily officially announces the upcoming ANP schedule all the way through October!P.S. I really can't wait for next month! We're trying something a little different with this series and decided to pump out the review as we finish watching each part. Partially because we've discovered that there's 3 or 4 suggested ways to watch the Fate series and we wanted to chart a course for you.We have nothing but praise for this phenomenal anime series! Oh and the OST? God tier, baby. Garrett even said, "of all the OST's we've done so far, this has become his favorite." There's some serious weight behind that statement. He's a bit of a critic and doesn't say stuff like that lightly. So grab a pair of high quality headphones...read that again...don't disrespect this masterpiece with those nasty ass air pods, or skull candies, or beats. I swear music is the best it's ever been and yet you choose to listen to it with "McDonalds" level audio gear. Get your ish together.P.S. If any of our listeners know how to rap or know someone that does, please rap over the song played in our intro. It's track number 8 on disc 1 of the OST.YouTube Playlist: AN-24: Fate/Zero [S1]Instagram: @animenoisepodcastTikTok: @animenoisepodcastYouTube Channel: AnimeNoiseCheck out our merch on Etsy!

Our impressions Kamen Rider Zero One might be a bit biased considering what we have to compare it to, but this episode rocks! Aruto struggles to control the Metal Cluster key, but help is coming from the humagears he's helped along the way. Which is a lot. Time for the power of friendship to knock a rich Jack-off's teeth out. Gaim coverage starts around 19:20 ! If you hear some downtempo jams, you're in the right place. In Kamen Rider Gaim... Professor Warring is done with being sidelined. Kaito is done with this protagonist. Roshuo is done with being alive. And I am done making excuses. Eat the rich (with nanomachine swarms)! Gen Urobuchi phoning it in hardcore! The hat trick! There's only one podcast that can cover all that... and it's THIS! Send comments, corrections, or questions of literally any sort to brokusatsu@gmail.com ! And if you like what we're doing, spread the word with some of your friends. A lista de animes citados: Psycho-Pass; Babylon; Blade of the Immortal; My Hero Academia S4; Kabukicho Sherlock; Cavaleiros do Zodíaco. A trilha é sonora é "Namae No Nai Kaibutsu", do EGOIST, primeiro encerramento de Psycho-Pass.
In Kamen Rider Zero One, good news! We've developed a weapon to counter Metsuboujinrai.net's hacking! Incidentally, this weapon is a giant autonomous mech that is not, in an of itself, immune to Metsuboujinrai.net's hacking. Do you think that's going to be an issue? Gaim coverage resumes around 20:42 ! If you hear some downtempo jams, you're in the right place. In Kamen Rider Gaim, our plucky crew of dance-fighting armored riders barely has time to recap the plot so far, before a steaming pile of new developments fall into their laps! A big chunk of which takes the form of new armored riders, numbering between five and like a thousand depending on how you look at it. Man, this whole mess is enough to ruin my appetite. Although that fruit over there does look particularly delicious... Sam's A+ student hosting skills! My ambivalence towards human extinction! Gen Urobuchi starting his engine! There's only one podcast that can cover all that... and it's THIS! Send comments, corrections, or questions of literally any sort to brokusatsu@gmail.com ! Well, bad news, Sara's name-morph lasted longer than 2 hours, so now she's a namethlit. But that doesn't matter, because Satah invented a new sport, and we're gonna make millions off of it! We're geniuses! Please don't steal our ideas, we need this to make it through the next financial quarter. Our bosses are brutal! I'm not entirely sure where these show notes are going, but I'm not gonna fix it! Enjoy Satah going wild on this new creation. We also watched an Animorphs episode, whatever. In addition to The Stranger, we also discussed PNGphobia, Baby Tattoos, Theon's Dick-Kick Power Up, The Ugliest Skyline, Hot Topic Update, HIRE MORE FEMALE CONTROLLERS, Social Media Death, and Gen Urobuchi's Senior Thesis.Support us on Patreon!

There are so many tangents in this one I don't even know how to begin to describe the topics. Here's an attempt: the shocking conclusion to the "Madiha fled to Russia" kayfabe; DDLC is not DDLG; our hell future is gonna be terrible; Tooth & Tail, a herzog zwei about furries who eat each other; who won Starcraft II, which is free now; Esther abducts Madiha to the GACHA BLACK SITE secret prison to discuss Lootboxes, and to then talk very earnestly about wanting to roll more on gachas; Esther needs to escape Granblue Fantasy; Gudaguda Honnoji and will anyone be able to roll a Scathach; the Fate universe is the most fucked up transmedia empire ever; Gen Urobuchi quotes mean it's time for the return of MADiha; MADiha is uncomfortably irate and violent for 5 minutes (she is very sorry); Lootboxes BANNED in the Netherlands (?); Nier Automata doesn't deserve to be goaty (don't @ us). UPDATE 11/22/2017: MADIHA ROLLED A SCATHATCH. HER CROPS ARE IRRIGATED, HER CATTLE STRONG. Send us questions! Rate us on iTunes! Support OUR transmedia empire! Email us at transmediacrity@gmail.com! After a month of holding back, Evan and David are happy to finally release Episode 69, the NICEst episode of the Ani-Gamers Podcast yet. The hosts go over the usual anime/manga/game stuff, including Pokémon and Yuri!!! on Ice, before getting into the meat (heh) of the show: Nitroplus and Gen Urobuchi's 2003 erotic visual novel, Saya no Uta (Song of Saya). It's a pretty disturbing piece of Lovecraftian horror, so naturally it was Evan's first eroge ("erotic game," for those not familiar with the anime lingo). Topics include: Honda Accord Simulator, soft podcast boys, and the crushing despair that is American politics. Send us feedback at podcast@anigamers.com! Show notes, links, comments, and more can be found at http://anigamers.com/podcast.

É a vida. O post AFS PODCAST 095 – Suisei no Gargantia – A volta do Fight Cast e Lulas Gigantes! apareceu primeiro em Anime Freak Show v7.0.
It began as a discussion about Saya no Uta; the visual novel by Gen Urobuchi that is absolutely horrible. It is vile. It is also horribly written, riddled with plotholes, and just plain objectively terrible. The boys of The Other Side set out to expose you fine folks to this trainwreck, and prove once and for all that it does not deserve a lick of the reverence it is given by so many people. It is, in fact, on a level beyond mere “garbage”. But from this garbage, The Other Side found something magical… From this garbage, Andrew, Max, and Cody devised a scenario that retroactively makes every terrible anime, visual novel, manga, and video game awesome. A simple headcanon (though the official stance of The Other Side is that this scenario is full-on canon) that turns even dogshit anime like Evangelion and Kodomo no Jikan into gold! Join the boys of The Other Side for the greatest episode they’ve ever recorded! The Other Side has done the unthinkable; they’ve fixed anime!
Jumping into the future of 2400, part of mankind is digitized in an orbiting colony of DEVA. After it is hacked by a source on Earth, System Security Officer Angela Balzac is sent to take down the hacker while learning the quirks of being human. Thus is the opening to a movie created by a team of big names, but can it live up to the backing? Join the hosts of the Animecast and find out! The music for this episode is the theme for Expelled From Paradise called “Eonian” by ELISA connect EFP. The English Version can be purchased from iTunes. The Japanese Version can also be purchased from iTunes.
