John Taylor, Jason Bates, and their fellow volunteers are working year round now to bring live music to our area. Via Crossroads Cultural Connections they have brought live music to Bishop Hill, Cambridge, and Galva all year round and all while maintaining status a not for profit entity. These concerts thrive because of the generosity and attendance of local music fans across Henry and Stark County. We talked with Jason Bates with Crossroads Cultural Connections as well as the return of the Levitt Amp Galva Music Series which will be back in Galva again this Summer.

Our expert hosts, David M. Brear and Jason Bates, get together to discuss the concept of fast following. Its something we here from people a lot, but is it always a bad thing? How can you get it right, what are the pitfalls to avoid getting it wrong, and what is the impact on the end customer? Much like our recent episode on how to put the services back into financial services, it's also something we often talk to our clients about, so we thought we'd open up that conversation to you, our listeners. We have something of a fireside chat to unpick what we mean by a fast follower and how, when and why it's an appropriate strategy - but also when it's not.
