A guide to creating miracles in your own life through the power of thought. The Miracle Club, Amazon. Author, Mitch Horowitz. Following the path of Neville Goddard, Mitch says the key is to be 'exquisitely clear, passionate and forthright about your goals.' [I clearly had quite the caffeine buzz that morning! He was a very good sport and played along.] We cover ground way beyond the stuff mentioned in the book. I credit news headlines and his book notes. Topics: UFOs, Bigfoot, my Grandma's manifesting advice, and a memorable H.S. yearbook quote from Mitch's friend, Kenny.] Endorsement: “As part of my scientific work, I study the relationship between mind and matter under strictly controlled laboratory conditions. I've found that those who laugh the loudest about the ‘power of affirmations' will often ask me, but only after drinking a few beers and in hushed tones, ‘Seriously, do thoughts really influence reality?' I respond by saying that based on the results of hundreds of published scientific experiments, it appears that yes, they really do. But that's not what they want to know. They're asking if their thoughts affect their reality in their everyday lives. To answer that question, there's only one way to find out--try it yourself. For the clearest and most eminently rational description of exactly how to test the power of your thoughts, there is simply no better choice than Mitch Horowitz's The Miracle Club.” ― Dean Radin, Ph.D., author of Real Magic Reference: YouTube presentation with Mitch focusing on Neville. Bio: Mitch Horowitz is a PEN Award-winning historian, longtime publishing executive, and a leading New Thought commentator with bylines in The New York Times, Time, Politico, Salon, and The Wall Street Journal and media appearances on Dateline NBC, CBS Sunday Morning, All Things Considered, and Coast to Coast AM. 14-Times Lottery Winner Finally Reveals His Secret

When the odds of something happening are really low, you say: “It's like winning a lottery.” Yet, one man, over the course of 30 years, actually did win the lottery 14 times in a row! Sounds improbable, but this is the real story of a mathematical genius, Stefan Mandel. He decided to invent his own algorithm to win lotteries. -Mandel claimed that, in a lottery with 6 total winning numbers, he could accurately predict 5 of them. He won the first prize, which was about $19 thousand, paid his debts to everyone who helped him, and still benefited quite a lot. -He settled in Australia and got access to every Commonwealth resource available for anyone with Australian citizenship. -The new method included six steps: calculate the total number of combinations possible in any given lottery, find lotteries where the jackpot was at least three times as big as the number of combinations, raise money to buy every single combination, print out millions of tickets, deliver them to the official dealers and take the prize! -Over the years he succeeded in creating what he called a “lotto syndicate”: a network of hundreds of investors who believed in his method and were more than willing to help. -On February 15, 1992, Mandel's team hit not only the jackpot but also the second and third prizes, along with dozens of minor ones, their overall winnings amounting to about $30 million. "To build income you can hustle, but to build wealth you need to build something that doesn't require your hands." That's what this week's guest told me, and then walked me down an interesting path in building that elusive "hands-free" business. His angle? Product licensing. Product licensing is essentially selling your ideas to larger companies for a percentage of future sales. You don't have to worry about the design, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, or anything outside an initial pitch and perhaps a prototype. Stephen Key is a master of this and has been doing it decades. He's the author of One Simple Idea, the bestselling licensing book, and the founder of InventRight. In this conversation, Stephen shares how you can get started in product licensing without any big upfront investment, how to protect your intellectual property without a patent, and how to get big companies to take you seriously. Joey's wife could never get her fingers into her wallet to remove her credit cards, which inspired him to come up with a simple solution to help with this problem. He read Stephen's book "One Simple Idea" and began watching inventRightTV videos on YouTube, and soon after that he signed up for the inventRight coaching program. He followed the inventRight 10-step process and got interest from two companies, but eventually they passed on the product. Instead of giving up, Joey used LinkedIn to find more inventor-friendly companies and continued to reach out. He found another company that liked his idea and he signed his first licensing deal. Courtney Laschkewitsch always has ideas. By the time she was in high school, she already had 300 of them written down! She didn't want to start a business, so she needed another way of bringing her ideas to life.  She started doing research and found Stephen Key's book “One Simple Idea” and fell in love with the business model of licensing. After applying to colleges and getting accepted, she decided she did not want to take on any student loan debt. So, she began attending community college, where she took business courses, and started a small jewelry business. However, she knew that licensing was still what she really wanted to learn. She wanted to enroll in the inventRight program, and needed to have her parents' support since it would be an investment of her hard-earned money and time. After doing A LOT of research about inventRight and learning about the program, she finally enrolled in six months of bootcamp coaching. Courtney's experience was transformational. She not only made an investment in her education, she received emotional support from her coach. While in the program, she received a licensing offer, but it ended up falling through. Still, she felt more confident having gained the experience and felt prepared moving forward. Later, when she reached back out to a company that she had originally shared her idea with, they were not only interested in licensing that product, they also wanted to license three additional products from her!  Courtney's keys to licensing success are trusting in the process, persistence, perseverance, and believing in yourself.

Craig Allen – Licensing His Product in the Midst of COVID -19 Growing up watching his dad constantly fix things, Craig caught the bug. He approached a patent attorney, but then asked if instead of filing a patent he could file a provisional patent application and then market the product. The patent attorney had never heard of this approach but said sure, why not.  Later Craig found Stephen Key's book “One Simple Idea,” which described that exact strategy for licensing an idea! After researching inventRight, it was the only company that really felt like it would be a ‘home' for him, because he wanted to master the licensing process with the ultimate goal of becoming a full-time product developer. He was humbled when his coach Paul Sorenson had him redo his sell sheet, and it took his product and interest from companies to the next level. When Craig went to the 2020 New York City Toy Fair, every single company liked his product. He had two companies that were interested in moving forward and was about to hear from them when COVID-19 hit. Like many of us, Craig started stocking toilet paper and shared that “it felt like a dark time when I didn't hear back.”   His coach Paul motivated him to keep going: “If the product is great, COVID-19 won't matter.” Craig's faith, new sell sheet and video, and follow-up with those companies led to a company getting back to him within 48 hours, sending a contract, and him signing it on April 30th. Be open to feedback, be flexible, learn the process, get out there and do it!

For 10 years, Phil Case would come up with new ideas for products and always wonder, “What do I do next?” An entrepreneurship class in college taught him how to write a business plan, but after seeing how much money it would take to run a company and bring a product to market, he figured there had to be a better way. He soon found inventRight cofounder Stephen Key's book One Simple Idea which was exactly what he was looking for. Phil being a very “process and documentation driven person” liked how the book broke the product licensing process down into 10 steps.  However, the one thing lacking was accountability. He knew about the 6-month coaching program inventRight offered, but it was out of his budget. He partnered with his best friend Bryan (also an idea guy), gave him the book, and asked him to team up. When they saw inventRight was running a contest for a free Bootcamp program to celebrate its 20th anniversary, they decided to enter. After their video entry was selected as the winner, Phil and Bryan started working with their coach on their first product.  “Without a coach, we would probably still be working on a prototype,” he says. They finally started to reach out to companies and got interest on their initial idea and also started working on their second product. Phil and Bryan are continuing to follow up with companies that have expressed interest in their first product and applying the process to new product ideas as well. Great job guys!

April Mitchell - Military Spouse, Inventor, Owner of 4A's Creations LLC April Mitchell is a mom of four and military spouse. Inventing was not something she sought out to pursue, but grew up in a problem-solving home. It was ingrained in her at a young age to find a solution to any problem that she was faced with just like her dad did. Her first taste began after realizing that the bathroom hand towel always ended up on the floor. This led to too much laundry and a necessary solution. She invented the towel belt.  This was just the beginning of her journey as an inventor. Inventions One or her more recent inventions is the Right Height adjustable over the door hook. Again this was a result of landing in a house that didn't have many closets, and the door hooks were too high for her children to reach. It is available in major retailer and provides easy access to the whole family.  She is now a two time patent holder. She has found her kids playing with things that weren't toys that they tweaked to be a new toy. Her kids have become an integral in the process of creating. How to turn “ONE SIMPLE IDEA” into a licensing goldmine with author Stephen KeyHave you ever looked at an item and thought to yourself, why didn't I think of that? Have you ever had an idea for a product only to find something similar on store shelves sometime later?  Have you ever taken an item and used it in a way other than its intended use, creating a more excellent utility?  Some of the simplest things have had the most significant impact.   Think, for instance, about Duct Tape.  There is nothing like the ultra adhesive, ultra-versatile, ultra-durable duct tape in a world full of adhesive bonds.  During WWII, Johnson & Johnson invented it for use in the military to protect ammunition cases from the front lines' harsh conditions. How about the nail?  A simple pointed piece of metal with a head on it.   Think about the utility of such a simple invention. They are part of the foundation of modern structures everywhere. Then there is the paperclip invented to attach claim tickets to the fabric in the 1800s by Samuel Fray. The idea is simple and extremely versatile.Your idea doesn't have to be as significant as the ones mentioned; you could take a simple idea and turn it into a goldmine without creating prototypes, getting funding, drawing up plans, and without the risk.  How would it feel to see a product you came up with covering the shelves at your favorite store or favorite online website? If you are interested in learning how you can turn one simple idea into a licensing goldmine, join Ron Bouchard as he interviews Stephen Key, founder of inventRight and Author of the bestselling book," One Simple Idea, Turn your dreams into a licensing goldmine while letting others do the work."Connect with today's guest, Stephen Key:·          800-701-7993·          stephen@inventright.com·          https://www.youtube.com/user/InventRightTV  ·          https://www.facebook.com/inventrightllc  ·          https://www.inventright.com/   Get Your Copy of, One Simple Idea·          https://www.amazon.com/One-Simple-Idea-Revised-Expanded/dp/1259589676/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2EVK4JXYGHEKP&dchild=1&keywords=one+simple+idea+stephen+key&qid=1613325263&sprefix=one+simple+i%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-1Links to Ron Bouchard·          info@waypointmastermind.com·          833-862-2734 Waypoint·          508-823-2550 Avion Realty·          www.waypointmastermind.com·          Schedule a Free 50 Minute Clarity Session with Ron Bouchard: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=18291344 Related Links and Resources: Visit our main website at:https://waypointmastermind.com/VIP/ ViSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/gonefishing)

Stephen Key is the Co-Founder of inventRight and the world's leading expert on how to license a consumer product idea. He has licensed more than 20 products on his own and was a 2018-2019 American Association for the Advancement of Science-Lemelson Invention Ambassador. He has also published several best-selling books, including One Simple Idea and his latest, Become a Professional Inventor: The Insider's Guide to Companies Looking for Ideas.  Stephen's inventRight coaching program has helped product developers from more than 65 countries learn how to license their ideas. He co-founded Inventors Groups of America to educate and empower inventors and inventing group leaders and inventYES, a free global program for high schoolers. In this episode… Any inventor who wants to protect their idea and their rights should consider one thing: getting a patent.  As an inventor, you should learn as much as you can about patents—and some professional advice from a good patent attorney wouldn’t hurt along the way. You’ll also need to find relevant and up-to-date resources about patent protection from experienced individuals and organizations. However, the power of a patent lies in the value it provides to the holder. A valid patent can be used for licensing and provide good royalties to the holder, but only if done right. The language used in the patent is also essential and can cause different interpretations of the patent by patent examiners, a jury, licensee, and investors. Stephen Key, Co-Founder of inventRight, is Rich Goldstein's guest in this week's episode of the Innovations and Breakthroughs Podcast, where he talks about the power of patents and licensing. They discuss Stephen's strategies for coming up with new business ideas, his licensing tips, and how technology has impacted the work of inventors.

The book is very simple and neat and it helped me a lot in finding the right way to get the benefit of my ideas. Press).     Mitch has written on everything from the secret life of Ronald Reagan to the war on witches for the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Salon, Politico, and Time.com.    Mitch has discussed alternative spirituality on CBS Sunday Morning, Dateline NBC, CNN, and throughout the national media.    The Miracle Club is a guide to creating miracles in your own life through the power of thought.  It offers a concise, clear formula of focused exercises and concrete tools to lay out a specific path to manifest your deepest desires and it presents the first serious reconsideration of New Thought philosophy since the death of William James in 1910.    Following in the footsteps of a little-known group of esoteric seekers from the late-nineteenth century who called themselves “the Miracle Club,” Mitch Horowitz shows that the spiritual “wish fulfillment” practices known as the Law of Attraction, Positive Thinking, “the Secret,” and the Science of Getting Rich actually work. Weaving these ideas together into a concise, clear formula, with real-life examples of success, he reveals how your thoughts can impact reality and make things happen.

[28:01] How the provisional patent landscape has changed [28:30] A lot of people are afraid to show their ideas because they think they will be stolen, but he doesn't believe it happens that often.
