Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Compere Richard Cracknell and Marlon as Dominic Solanke scored a stunning acrobatic equaliser as we fought back to force a draw against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon. After a lacklustre first period in which Rayan Cherki had given Pep Guardiola's side an early lead before Antoine Semenyo doubled their advantage just before the interval, it looked like City were heading towards a third straight Premier League win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But it was a completely different story after the break as we took the game to the visitors, pulling one back when Solanke forced Marc Guehi into an own goal. The England international then produced a moment of pure magic, scoring for the third time in four games with a spectacular scorpion kick to level the scores and give us a vital point. We discuss the bizarre duality of the current season: finishing in the top 4 of the Champions League phase, yet languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League with the threat of relegation breathing down our necks. Does the European success buy Thomas Frank more time, or is his number up regardless of our continental adventures? The pair also discuss the ownership, looking for any clues in their recent behaviour, before answering your questions. The dust has settled on the Manchester United defeat, but the questions are only getting louder. Jacob Hawley is joined by Johnny Dutch to move past the raw emotion of losing to a bitter rival and dissect the psychological state of the squad. They ask if the obsession with control has gone too far and if the ghosts of seasons past are haunting the tactical setup. On the deck: The £60m Dilemma: We drop a controversial take on Eberechi Eze's future. Is he a “maverick” unsuited for a dominant system, and have we already seen enough to know he isn't the answer? PTSD Football: A deep dive into whether Mikel Arteta is “coaching by trauma”—designing a system so terrified of making mistakes that it has forgotten how to take risks. The Captain's Fade: Why Martin Odegaard has become the lightning rod for fan frustration. We debate if it's a physical decline, a confidence crisis, or simply a player handcuffed by rigid instructions. Stumbling Into Solutions: History shows Arteta often finds his best attacking setups by accident. We argue why it's time to force the issue with Merino up top and bring Ben White back to unlock Saka. The League of Margins: Why the Premier League has morphed into “90s Serie A” and why a data-driven, risk-averse approach might not be enough to get over the line. Champions League top eight qualification and the gap to the Premier League leaders down to four points... You'd have to say that's a pretty good week for Manchester City, all told. David Mooney is joined by Joe Butterfield from The City Ramble and Adam Carter from StatCity.co.uk to discuss the wins over Wolves and Galatasaray. That being said, there's a couple of bogey teams up next in the league at a pair of grounds that are, frankly, cursed when City go to visit... So how will that picture look in a couple of weeks? Jack from Rule The Roost joins the show to tell us about Spurs this season so far, plus we'll look ahead to next week's Carabao Cup semifinal second leg with Newcastle. And as the squad continues to evolve, we discuss Oscar Bobb's departure and the options in the team for the final months of the season following some key players returning to fitness to join the two new signings.==========To get more podcasts or to listen without the ads, join our Patreon. A Perfect Run — With CracksPerfect in Europe, Uncertain at the Back — What Arsenal Must Fix Before LeedsArsenal close out the Champions League League Phase with a perfect record — eight wins from eight — but the performance against Kairat raises uncomfortable questions beneath the surface.Gav and Jus break down a night that should have felt routine, but instead reinforced growing concerns around defensive concentration, individual errors, and Arsenal's recent inability to protect leads. Despite controlling the game, creating heavily, and topping the group in style, the conversation quickly turns to why clean sheets have disappeared and why “control” — once Arsenal's defining strength — is starting to erode. There's analysis of Kai Havertz's return, Viktor Gyökeres' night in front of goal, Gabriel Jesus' ongoing role in the squad, and the balance between occupying defenders versus offering genuine attacking threat. The discussion also looks at Martin Ødegaard's form, the noise surrounding his place in the side, and whether changes in midfield would actually solve the bigger issues at play.Attention then shifts to what comes next. With Leeds United up next in the league, the hosts examine why this fixture could act as another reset point — much like it has in previous seasons — and what Arsenal must rediscover if they're to re-establish their defensive authority and momentum in the title race. There's also the weekly Who Am I? game, a look ahead to key Premier League fixtures elsewhere, and Jus' latest Six Pack, ranking the best seasons by newly promoted teams in Premier League history.A perfect European run. Plenty of goals. But with standards slipping at the back, the bigger test may still lie ahead.
