Dzīvniekiem, kas ir ciešā kontaktā ar saimniekiem stresu var radīt saimnieka aizbraukšana uz dažām dienām. Stresu var radīt, ka ierodas svešs kaimiņš, kurš ienāk dzīvoklī pabarot. Stresu var radīt remonts, pārvākšanās, blakus telpās rejoši suņi," turpina Māra Vasiļevska. "Jebkura slimība slimība, kas rada sāpes, rada stresu kaķa organismam," papildina Vladislavs Lapinskis. Tāpat viņš min, ka problēmas ar zobiem kaķim var radīt stresu. Kaķis var lieliski ēst bez zobiem, ja viņam ir sagatavota pārtika. "Kaķis var brīnišķīgi dzīvot bez zobiem, nekā ar sapuvušiem un kustīgiem zobiem. Katra kustība mutē ir kā adatas dūriens, sapuvušie zobi jāmudina izraut," skaidro Lita Konopore. Nieru mazspēja ir bieža slimība ir vecākiem kaķiem. Vecus kaķus iesaka svērt reizi trijos mēnešos, svara zudums liecina par veselības problēmām. Ārsti arī iesaka profilaktiskas asins analīzes reizi gadā veikt kaķim.

Guntis Kalniņš papildina, ka ne tikai pazaudējam laiku domāšanai, bet arī pašu prasmi domāt zaudējam. Viņš arī norāda, ka pasaulē jau darba devēji ceļ trauksmi, ka cilvēki zaudē prasmes. No vienas puses MI ir palīgs, no otras - jau tagad dažādu nozaru pārstāvji norāda, ka MI ir līdz galam neapzināts risks, kura dēļ samazinās cilvēku spriešanas, domāšanas spēja.

V Brdih še odstranjujejo posledice obilnega deževja, ki je za seboj pustilo precejšnje poškodbe na prometni infrastrukturi. Stanje na terenu sta si danes ogledala ministrica za infrastrukturo Alenka Bratušek in poveljnik republiškega štaba Civilne zaščite Srečko Šestan. Več vasi je še vedno nedostopnih, veliko škode je na kmetijskih površinah. S sanacijo po poplavah se ukvarjajo tudi na italijanski strani. Voda se je umaknila, ceste so prevozne, ljudje se počasi vračajo na domove. Najhuje je bilo v občinah Krmin in Romanž, kjer vlada blatno opustušenje. Suhozidna gradnja je veščina zidanja brez uporabe veziva. Kamen za zidavo je pridobljen v neposredni bližini, s čiščenjem in urejanjem zemljišč. S poznavanjem principov skladnje so, tudi v Alpah, že od prazgodovine nastajali različni tipi trdnih kamnitih objektov. Znanje, tehnike in veščine suhozidne gradnje so od leta 2018 vpisane na Unescov reprezentativni seznam nesnovne kulturne dediščine. O tej veščini (in še čem) se je z gospodom Borisom Čokom – avtorjem in registriranim nosilcem dediščine, pogovarjala Katarina Žakelj iz CIPRE Slovenija. Avgusta 2025 je CIPRA Slovenija pod mentorstvom g. Čoka izvedla akcijo Ogenj v Alpah/ Via Alpina Youth. Mladi so obnovili suhozid v Vasi na skali nad Sočo. Izvedbo te aktivnosti je finančno omogočil program EU Erasmus+. Aktivnost je predstavljala košček v mozaiku projekta KamenGor: oživljanje dediščine suhozidov Goriške, ki ga je finančno podprlo Ministrstvo za kulturo RS. The stone for the masonry is obtained in the immediate vicinity, by clearing and landscaping the land. The knowledge of the principles of composition has been used to create different types of solid stone buildings since prehistoric times, including in the Alps. The knowledge, techniques and skills of dry stone building have been inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2018. Katarina Žakelj from CIPRA Slovenia talked to Boris Čok - author and registered heritage holder - about this skill (and more). In August 2025, CIPRA Slovenia, under the mentorship of Mr Čok, implemented the Fire in the Alps/ Via Alpina Youth campaign. The young people restored the drystone wall in the Village on the Rock above the Soča River. The activity was a piece in the mosaic of the project KamenGor: revitalising the drystone heritage of Goriška, which was financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia. Šobrīd autors jau ir uzrakstījis lugu par Krišjāni Valdemāru, tagad strādā pie romāna par piejūras ciemos joprojām pieminēto pirmo jūrskolu dibinātāju. Kā kopš Valdemāra laikiem vairākkārt mainījusies piejūras ļaužu dzīve, par to saruna šai raidījumā Augstāk par zemi. Guntara Cerava un un Jāņa Vasiļevska grāmata par Latviešu leģiona virsnieku Teodoru Kalnāju iznāca reģionālā izdevniecībā pirms desmit gadiem. Pēc tās iznākšanas kādu laiku Guntars Ceravs kā rakstnieks klusē, tad 2022. gadā piedalās Prozas lasījumos, 2024. gadā žurnāls „Punctum” publicē viņa “Melnās jūras stāstu”, pagājušajā gadā tapusi luga “Vollis”. Luga “Vollis” ir veltījums Krišjānim Valdemāram viņa divsimtgadē. Kā 2. decembrī gaidāmās dižā jaunlatvieša jubilejas ieskaņas pasākums, Mērsraga bibliotēkā septembrī notika lugas fragmentu lasījums. Tos lasīja Guntars Ceravs pats, pieaicinot biedrus no amatierteātru kustības. Šobrīd Guntars Ceravs strādā pie romāna par Krišjāni Valdemāru.
