This week the I am reading from Nicole Strickland's book 'The Afterlife Chronicles: Exploring the Connection Between Life, Death and Beyond' and Mike Damante's book 'Above the Fold and the Fringe: How UAPs Became Mainstream News'. NicoleWhat happens to us when we die? Does the human soul survive death? How can we communicate with loved ones in the spirit world? Are those residing beyond the veil in some faraway land or are they close by and within our reach? These are age-old questions permeating our collective consciousness. These queries not only entice humanity to understand the hereafter but also to connect with those dwelling within it.We're in a time of transition where individuals are embracing the notion of life after death. Each of the topics and stories presented in The Afterlife Chronicles, harmoniously unite as a gateway to the connective bridge between mortality and the afterlife. Crafted by highly respected afterlife and paranormal researcher Nicole Strickland, this heartfelt book reads like a love letter to the hereafter and provides the motivation, purpose, and know-how to further understand the profound relationship between both worlds. In this book, you'll read about:• Recognizing the signs of and reasons why the spirit world reaches out to the living and vice versa• The afterlife according to various cultures• The influence of the Spiritualist movement on modern-day spirit communication and paranormal research• The role of intuition and mind/body/spirit in connecting with the afterlife• Examining the profound connectedness between the living and spirit worlds• Near-death experiences and the keys to understanding life after death• Theories on the survival of human consciousness after death• Common misconceptions of the afterlife• Traditional and alternative methods to communicate with the spirit world• The power of spirit guides in fostering the connection between mortality and the afterlife• How moving through grief and loss can help you further connect with departed loved onesFinally, the many contributors who opted to share their accounts and stories with the spirit world and beyond will further entice you to learn more about the deeply interwoven union between mortality and those across the veil on the other side.Perhaps, you've had a heartfelt experience with a loved one in the afterlife and don't know where to turn. Look no further as The Afterlife Chronicles will encourage you to openly share your story and in turn, will motivate others to share theirs. Similar to a domino effect, more people will become aware of and learn more about the beautiful rapport between both worlds. If you're curious about the enigmatic wonders of the afterlife, you'll be enchanted by The Afterlife Chronicles: Exploring the Connection between Life, Death, and Beyond.Beyond, where physical death is not an end, but a beginning.BioNicole Strickland is a well-respected afterlife & paranormal researcher, author, podcaster, and speaker from San Diego, California. Fishing along the banks of the Cape Fear River with three co-workers and his teenage son, he walks away from the group and cries out to God in a desperate prayer for help. Suddenly, a UFO appears and saves his life and cures him of his illness. Experiencing four hours of missing time, he returns to his group to find them dismayed. Terrified, they run for their lives as several UFOs chase them home. This is the true story of hope, love, lies and deception, involving officials from the U.S. Government, CIA, NASA, a string of professors, and MUFON.Prepare to go on a spiritual journey of awakening and transformation with a visit from the Lady, remote viewing, assassination plot of the Pope, dripping orbs, a burning tree, the Monroe Institute, and healing the son of an elite Washington DC power broker with ties to the IC and the White House. 15 years on, the phenomena still visits the Bledsoe family and affects the lives of people who come in contact with them. To outsiders this can be seen as evil, but those who are willing to be open and accept it, it is a blessing. Are the events that are playing out around the world controlled and shaped by the Phenomena? The U.S. Government says UFOs are real. And millions of people believe GOD is real. So what do we do about UFOs and GOD? Mark 10:27 says, "All things are possible with God." So, UFOs must be interrelated with GOD if holding the scriptures to be true. It would be impossible to have one without the other.BioChris is a UFO experiencer and a strong believer in God. His life, now that his children are grown, is centered around telling his story and understanding why his experiences are increasing. He is passionate about keeping an open mind and engaging those who question who we are and why we are here. Most importantly he's working to understand the consciousness connection with UFOs and how it impacts his faith. Like most of us, he is driven to know the answer to the age-old question, "Are we alone?" This episode focuses on two distinctly different milestones that occurred in the week this episode is posted. First, Warner Bros. has released the 20th-anniversary edition of Smallville – The Complete Series. Second, this weekend in Chicago marked the final Wizard World Comic-Con. To pay homage to both events, this episode features a live recording of a panel at Wizard World New Orleans from January 2020 with Smallville stars Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, and John Glover. This interview took place a short time before the initial Covid-19 shutdown. The beginning of this episode addresses two recent Superman controversies. First, the reveal that Superman's son Jonathan was bisexual in the comics. The second was the change in Superman's motto from “Truth, Justice, and the American Way” to “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow.” Congratulations to both Smallville and Wizard World on incredible runs, and tremendous legacies.

Our 50 States Quest continues as we take on our fireworks-selling neighbors to the East: Indiana! Recorded over the summer after Craig returned from a jaunt around the Indianapolis area, this episode features five diverse Hoosier beers that show Indiana beer is much more than that one metal brewery on the border. And because this was recorded in August, we get Craig’s recap of the Wizard World Comic Con including the cultural penetration of Golden Girls, Funko Pop everything, and what surprising offerings they were pouring at the Goose Island station. But then we talk about terrible Bobby Knight, kicking some barrels, Dick Tracy villains, and Quad IPAs. Count us IN. Shortly after retiring Deb began thinking what she wanted to do next, and it didn’t take long for an idea to emerge.  Inspiration can emerge from any day-to-day activity just keep your ‘senses’ open, and watching a TV Program “Say Yes to the Dress” she said, “I love weddings, I love cosplay (costume play), am a self-proclaimed “geeky girl,” I love sci/fi, comic book, fantasy, steam punk, all vastly different from her former job as a Senior Executive with the US Federal Government. Not wasting time, Deb researched wedding officiants in her area, and discovered there was a void for couples interested in cosplay for weddings.  Studying she became ordained as a wedding officiant, then combined her love of weddings and cosplay then started her company, An Unusual Affair, LLC, focusing on creating unusual ceremonies, but she did include traditional wedding ceremonies and writing custom wedding ceremonies. Cosplay is dressing up as a character from a film, book, or video game. Deb has 4 tips for those seeking a new pursuit:  do what you love but with a twist!  There may be others doing something similar, find a new or unusual way to do it! Look for customers in unlikely places; don’t be afraid to get out there and tell people what you do and why you love it!  She attends Oddmall and themed festivals like Wizard World/Comic Con, where the clientele like cosplay, and who one day may get married! Deb travels all over Ohio performing wedding ceremonies, and today this lover of unusual affairs offers a broader array of services, see her website, anunusualaffairllc.com for traditional, LGBTQ, cosplay wedding ceremonies and other cosplay events: gender reveals for babies, proposals, prom dates, reaffirming vows.
