Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universes Just like that, the much discussed, but never official, Nova Disney Plus series, has gone from rumored to confirmed with Deadline reporting the onboarding of a showrunner: Criminal Minds' Ed Bernero. Bernero, who also co-created the Criminal Minds spinoff, Suspect Behavior, will serve as writer and showrunner for the Richard Ryder-focused series. Additionally, off the heels of last week's reports about Chris Evans' return to the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday, last Friday, Variety broke the news that Evans' frequent scene partner, Hayley Atwell is also expected to reprise her role as Agent Peggy Carter. While the DCU officially launched earlier this month with the premiere of Creature Commandos on Max, James Gunn's first live action offering, next summer's Superman, unveiled its official poster via social media Monday morning. The image, a motion graphic, is an obvious allusion to Christopher Reeves' take on the character, and showcases David Corenswett's Superman ascending in flight, accompanied by a remix of John Williams' classic score and a tagline that reads, ‘Look up.' Exciting details; all of which preempts the gut punch that the official teaser trailer will not release until Thursday… (Thanks, James…) Elsewhere, horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan has been given the go ahead to write his standalone Clayface film. Without a director attached yet, it's unclear whether this film will be a part of the Matt Reeves The Batman/Penguin crime Elseworld, though Gunn referred to it as a DCU film. Currently slated for a September 2026 release, Flanagan previously described it as a horror/thriller/tragedy while expressing interest back as early as 2021. Kraven the Hunter, the latest and perhaps final entry of Sony's Spider-Man-less universe, opened this weekend to a disappointing $11 million total, a franchise low. In the wake of this fumble, just the most recent in a long string, many a Sony insider have come out of the woodwork to spill the tea, resulting in the internet being ablaze with claims that the studio is finally pulling the plug. But, not so fast! While it does sound like Sony will stop making spin-offs without Spider-Man, the studio remains quote, ‘deeply invested' in projects that include the marquee character and his many variations, including the Spider-Man Noir series that is in production in partnership with Amazon. Michael Gracey is in talks to direct Disney's live-action Tangled with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson  from the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot. Variety has learned that Austin Butler is set to star in Luca Guadagnino‘s new interpretation of the book “American Psycho” by Bret Easton Ellis for Lionsgate. Per Deadline, Joseph Quinn is reportedly set to play George Harrison in Sam Mendes' upcoming Beatles biopic series. Barry Keoghan will portray Ringo Starr, Paul Mescal is expected to play Paul McCartney, and Harris Dickinson is the frontrunner for John Lennon. Marvel Comics announced Godzilla vs. Marvel, a six-issue one-shot series marking their first Godzilla crossover in nearly 50 years. The series spans different time periods, starting with a Fantastic Four story. Malcolm in the Middle is returning for a four-episode revival on Disney+ to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Original stars Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek will reprise their roles as Malcolm and his parents, Hal and Lois. The Hollywood Reporter claims Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach pitched a Barbie sequel to Warner Bros., but both their rep and the studio deny it. “There is no legitimacy to this,” says the filmmakers' rep, while Warner Bros. calls the report “inaccurate.” The previously announced DCU film Dynamic Duo has received a release date of June 30th, 2028.

Career Retrospective with Hayley Atwell on May 22, 2018. Moderated by Jenelle Riley, Variety. Hayley’s impressive body of work has established her as one of the finest actresses of her generation. Hayley can be seen starring in HOWARD'S END. Written by Manchester By the Sea’s Oscar nominated director, Kenneth Lonergan, Hayley plays the lead role, alongside Matthew Macfadyen in the adaptation of E.M. Forster’s classic novel. Through the prism of three families: the intellectual and idealistic Schlegels, the wealthy Wilcoxes from the world of business, and the working class Basts, this period drama tracks the changing landscape of social and class divisions in turn of the century England. The series was recently launched in the US to much acclaim. Earlier this year, Hayley performed at the Hampstead Theatre in Sarah Burgess’s DRY POWDER. Directed by Anna Ledwich, Hayley took the lead role alongside Tom Riley and Aidan McArdle in the comedy which explored the PR world of New York. Later this year, Hayley will be seen starring alongside Ewan McGregor in Disney’s CHRISTOPHER ROBIN. Directed by Marc Forster, the film takes a fresh interpretation on A.A. Milne’s classic children’s story ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ and is set to be released this August 3, 2018. Having trained in classical theatre at the Guildhall school of Music and Drama, upon graduation Hayley starred alongside David Oyelowo in PROMETHEUS BOUND in the West End. She went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company and had lead roles at the Royal National Theatre in THE MAN OF MODE and MAJOR BARBARA. She has been nominated for two Olivier awards for her performances in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE at The Duke of York's and in THE PRIDE at Trafalgar Studios. Hayley made her TV debut in the adaptation of Booker Prize winner THE LINE OF BEAUTY which lead to starring roles in several dramas including PILLARS OF EARTH, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination and in Charlie Brooker's BAFTA winning BLACK MIRROR series and has also starred in two William Boyd adaptations, ANY HUMAN HEART and RESTLESS. She also played Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel movie franchise and in two seasons of eponymous series AGENT CARTER in the US. Hayley's film debut was in CASSANDRA’S DREAM which lead to leading film roles in BRIDESHEAD REVISITED with Emma Thompson, THE DUCHESS with Ralph Fiennes, JIMI: ALL IS BY MY SIDE and Kenneth Branagh's CINDERELLA.

Set during World War II, the film is an origin story for the title character as well as the starting off point for several familiar characters whose importance within the overall story of the "Infinity War saga" of the MCU would grow as more films were produced and as the interconnectness of the story being told was more fleshed-out. The film also stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, Hugo Weaving as Johann Schimdt/Red Skull, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Tommy Lee Jones as Chester Philips, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine, as well as many other great actors who give phenomenonal performances as memorable characters. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/message

Leave it to the Agents to find a hilarious way to interrogate people to see if they're Chronicoms. Listen, "moist" is a weird word that is going to get some kind of reaction from a human. This show always finds ways to insert humor into the most serious situations.  While we're still holding out for our Agent Peggy Carter appearance, it was great to see Daniel Sousa show up. Even better is the tie-in to him trying to expose the fact that SHIELD and other government agencies have been infiltrated (by what we know is Hydra) Dpalm has a pretty good theory on what can happen with Sousa and it ties into something that was brought up inn the first two episodes We love the team-ups on this show that also reveal deeper issues and get into more character development. Both May and YoYo are both struggling with the effects of what happened to them last season Gotta love how seamless this show brings up the racism and sexism of the time periods. It's not heavy handed but also not ignored. For a show with a cast as diverse as Agents of SHIELD, we appreciate them bringing up the fact that the 1950's weren't that great for certain groups Once again, gotta say, the Chronicoms plans aren't that bad. They are villains but they have a pretty good villain plain Where is Fitz? How long was Simmons "gone" to build all of what she built and gain this knowledge? I mean what can we say? Agents of SHIELD is really something special. Season 6 ended the only way an Agents of SHIELD season could...playing with our emotions, bringing an even bigger threat and of course...separating Fitz and Simmons. Seriously this was two intense hours. We get Deke finally making his grandfather proud, only to disappoint him later. We get Sarge killing May after the show made us (and May and Daisy) believe that maybe Coulson could be saved. Then they almost kill YoYo. Then they save May and YoYo. Then we don't even get a chance to breathe cause the Chromocons have taken the Lighthouse and killed a bunch of agents and to save everyone Simmons and most of the team jump to the past. And then there's LMD Coulson. Yes...LMD Coulson. Oh and did I mention that somewhere Piper is helping Flint mend his broken leg? There's so much to discuss about this episode as well as the possibilities for the future (Agent Peggy Carter possibly making an appearance next season?). Brie Larson is just exceptional as Carol Danvers, I feel she embodies the character from the comics so well, whilst bringing her own qualities to the role. From the Stan Lee tribute at the start (very emotional and wonderfully inventive) this movie never missed a beat throughout.Whilst I know it's still very early to be making lots of judgements on various aspects of the movie, I'm keen to know if there was any stand out scene for you Sean, that you either never saw coming or was just a particular highlight? Thanks as always for your time, and hope everyone gets to go higher further faster with this awesome movie!13:27 brentacPrimeCaptain Marvel spoiler question. What was the biggest surprise for you?15:18 Robert KlauserWhat's up Sean? Do you think that there's a setup for Carol similar to Scarlett Witch? We see that Mar Vel was in possession of the tesseract and I believe she used that to make her FTL ship and that's where Carol got her powers from when she shot that energy core. So the setup would be that Carol Danvers can somehow destroy the space stone because her powers might have the same signature as the space stone. Do you think that this is theory is something they could allude to in Endgame or is this more of a “been there don't that” with Wanda and the Mind Stone?18:31 Matt OswaldWe know that SHIELD was in possession of the Tesseract after Howard Stark recovered it, and Loki stole it from a Project Pegasus facility in the Avengers. It is obvious that Fury did not know the real Identity of Lawson even though he at least knew of the existence of Pegasus. Do you think any of the top brass at SHIELD knew her real identity?19:46 Matt OswaldOne of the things that has bothered me a little about Captain Marvel is the apparent lack of security around the Tesseract at Project Pegasus. We know at the start of the Avengers that there are SHIELD agents like Hawkeye assigned to guard the Tesseract. Apparently during the 90's security was a little more lax around the project since Lawson was able to take the tesseract out of the facility, and to her Kree space ship/lab. It seems like somone should have noticed that the Tesseract was missing from the facility. One might be able to reason that after the crash, it was believed that the Tesseract was destroyed in the crash. But we don't see any evidence in the film that before the crash anyone even noticed it was gone. Am I reading too much into this?22:51 Mookie JohnsonDo you feel the way that Captain Marvel ended reduces the chances the secret invasion is a pursued storyline?25:13 Woo S! KimWho between these two characters Agent Peggy Carter and Agent Phil Coulson are you more surprised by their popularity and how they are really embedded in the MCU and why?  My vote is for Phil Coulson do you have any other characters like Coulson or Peggy Carter that when they originally appeared in the MCU you are surprised how narratively and how long they have managed to stay integral parts of the MCU and or fan favourites? 28:42 Woo S! KimI am not stating this character is needed in the X-Men/Avengers going forward Sean,  but what do you think the chances because the heroes will be messing with time in “Avengers: End Game” of Aaron Taylor Johnson's QuickSilver to return after the events of “Avengers: End Game?”  Should he brought back or would you rather keep that character dead?29:56 Woo S! KimSean, let's say for argument sake that “Spider-Man: Far From Home” moved to February 2020 “Avengers: End Game” moved to Christmas 2019 and Star Wars: Episode IX took the late April 2019 spot would Box Office numbers change at all, if this were done why or why not?31:05 Mookie JohnsonDo you think Captain Marvel 2 has room for Ms Marvel and Photon to join in?32:48 Mookie JohnsonI love how Captain Marvel's movie was also is some way a Nick Fury/Modern  Day Shield/Avengers initiative story also. Could you share some of your thoughts on that idea?35:53 AlexDo you think the Fox deal that will grant Marvel access to so many more  characters could lessen Marvel's willingness to cooperate with Sony past Far From Home especially if Sony starts mandating that they start integrating SMCU characters like Venom and Morbius? 37:25 David RosenHey Sean, I know you were really looking forward to seeing how they treated the Kree Supreme Intelligence. Even though we didn't get the giant floating head, are you satisfied with what we did get?39:50 Tom DeMicheleSince all of SHIELD's information was leaked in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, does the world know about Captain Marvel? Fury may not have divulged what happened in the film's final act, but there were plenty of other witnesses early on.By the way, this is an exciting time for the Discord, and I encourage all Patrons to join the fun conversation over there with us!43:01 Robert KlauserNot a serious question or anything like that. But, can't we let Thor and the Asgardians off of the hook for the Phase 2 weapons? It seems Fury knew we were “hopelessly and hilariously outgunned” since 1995.44:35 Xavier ArquerosI liked the movie, not as much as I hoped (which was a lot), but it's good. I have a lot of questions, but the only one that concerns me is when will the sequel take place, because it's seems that Yon-Rogg and Ronan have an agenda against Carol but I'm not the biggest fan on an other MCU movie set in the past, I hope Captain Marvel 2 is set post-Endgame. What do you think Sean? I would watch it nevertheless, but you know, Let's move forward. Cheers!48:40 AlexSean, I know that you had Bill Hader as one of your top castings for Reed Richards but I unfortunately I just don't see it. He looks the part sure, but nothing I've seen of Bill Hader so far has left me with the impression he'd make a good Reed. He just strikes me as too comedic an actor to play a serious role like Reed Richards who isn't normally intentionally funny so may I ask what movies or shows that you've seen Mr. Hader in that makes you think he'd be a fit for the role?49:42 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean! I enjoyed CM! Thought it was great!I have a couple of questions about Goose the cat. I know they probably aren't big deals in the grand scheme of things in the MCU but they are questions I came up with nonetheless lol.So we first see Goose at the Pegasus facility and it seems like she/he knows Carol cause it walks up to her first as if recognizing Carol. So do you think it used to be Carol's pet and if so how did Carol come to have an alien as a pet? Or do you believe it was Mar-Vell's pet since she was Kree so most likely Mar-Vell would've potentially brought an alien pet from space ?So at the end of CM, Fury seems to keep Goose, so where has Goose been all this time in the present day MCU? Still with Fury?52:06 Alex WardHey Sean! First of all, thank you for doing these q and A's. They've answered so many lingering questions about the MCU for me and deepened my interest in Marvel to an insane degree. That being said, you might remember my question a while ago about what the Avengers are "avenging." You had an awesome answer, but thanks to that little discussion, the final scene in Captain Marvel impacted me on a much deeper level; it gave me goosebumps just as I'm sure it did a lot of fans. My question is, if Fury came up with the Avengers Initiative in 1995, did it really take him over ten years to find his first Avenger? Do you think there were any hiccups before Iron Man, perhaps that we'll see filled in in the Black Widow movie or something? Thanks Sean!55:09 Alex WardHow did you feel about the way the Skrulls were handled? I know the Skrulls and the Kree can be good and bad in the comics, but I love this new dynamic.55:46 Alex WardOne non Captain Marvel question--how would you age the new generation of the MCU? For example, should the FF skew younger like the Ultimate comics so they can stick around longer, or should they be older? Also, how old is too old for Reed? He's gotta hang on to those greying temples; it'd be blasphemy if he'd ever go full silver fox like how Mark Ruffalo seems to be heading.58:07 Alex WardI know folks have been throwing around the idea of the FF being a period piece, but what do you think about the idea of the FF being from the modern era, but accidentally getting stuck in the 60s and getting famous there (maybe by introducing "advanced" modern technology), before traveling back to modern day?59:40 Michael Louis WeaselboyHey Sean how was your week?? Anyways I saw Captain Marvel of course, opening night I loved it. You were right that really is the best crowd to watch an MCU film, I saw it in the big IMAX theater in Tempe, Arizona and that crowd was so ecstatic, I can't wait to watch Endgame there next month, the crowd went crazy during the Marvel Studios logo at the beginning and a loud clap when it said "Thank you Stan". Anyways my question is when do you think a sequel will be set?? Could it be with the 23 years she was off earth? or should it be set after in the post endgame MCU?? Who do you think could be the villain? Thoughts??1:02:46 Mookie JohnsonDo you have a Captain Marvel costume preference between the red/blue towards the end of the movie and the post-credit outfit? What can we expect for our heroes when they return? And is there any chance of seeing Agent Peggy Carter in action again. A flawed but very endearing movie, Chris Evans in “Captain America: The First Avenger” is immediately lovable as Cap (and mini-Cap), but Hayley Atwell as the brilliant and sexy stone-cold badass Agent Peggy Carter absolutely kills it and at many times steals the movie. With excellent assists by Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Tommy Lee Jones, and Stanley Tucci, "The First Avenger" immediately asserts Captain America as the character and movie franchise that all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen and TV has and still goes through. And Cap does NOT like bullies. How do the TV versions of the Punisher and Elektra match up with the feature film predecessors? What will it take for Agents of Shield to step out of the shadow of the blockbusters that spawned it? And is the not quite 1947 world of Agent Peggy Carter interesting enough to sustain a third season. AGENT CARTER “Smoke And Mirrors” [05:03] Almost half way through the second Agent Carter season, Agent Carter give the Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents a lot to cover. The Agents get to peer into the origins of both Agnus Culley/Whitney Frost/Madame Frost and Agent Peggy Carter and they see how similar they actually were. The nod to Bletchley Park was amazing and the Flashbacks were well done overall. The expanded Marvel comic book television team is not missing a beat so far. Agent Lauren comments on how much chemistry Peggy Carter has with everyone on screen, villain or Team Carter. Agent Haley creates the Agent Carter drinking game (hint, it include Hedy Lamarr, and American Accent and Punching). Agent SP is just so Jarvelous. And James D’Arcy is hitting all the marks given to him and more. Agents Haley and Lauren look into if it is legal to eat a flamingo. All the Agents think Fred was a tool and pay their respects to Michael Carter. The Agents end by predicting the future of KurtwoodSmith/Agent Vernon Masters/Red Foreman, the Sewers Of New York, Calvin Chadwick’s longevity, if Howard Stark and Madame Masque will have a bedroom scene, if Wilkes will live, if the Talent Agency will be breached, and Bernard Stark. Jessica does a great job of using her assets to find her stalker. And people used by Kilgrave just want to help. Trish gets “some” common sense. There’s a ton of Jessica (not) jumping on camera. The Agents were horrified by Kilgrave’s use of the little girl. Trish’s mom gets a shoutout, and not in a flattering way. The Agents see AGAIN why Jeri is NOT a good person. The Agents enjoy the Laser Eyes call back and despise the gun totting client. And Malcolm needs all the hugs. It's 1946 and S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exist. But the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) does. And that's where Captain America's former girlfriend is utilizing her talents. (Mostly to try to clear the name of her friend Howard Stark.) The SSR thinks he's selling weapons to our enemies. So she starts to investigate the truth, and track down all of the powerful missing tech, with the help of Stark's personal butler Jarvis. But there are some voiceless bad guys trying to get the Nitramene weapons before her. Who will get the bombs? Who will stop Leviathan before it's too late? And who's going to get us some coffee? Well, the answer to at least one of these has to be Agent Peggy Carter. SSR Station Chiefs Jay and Josh will investigate the many adventures of this dangerous dame on this week's Agent Carter: Case Files. Grab the shovel and get ready to uncover "The Things We Bury". Some of those things are from way back in 1945, when Agent Peggy Carter captured sadistic HYDRA scientist Dr. Reinhardt as he was experimenting with the alien obelisk and how it affected people. She locked him away for, what she thought was forever. But he was able to use his HYDRA influence to get out and use his experiments to make himself younger and even more dangerous. Ex-agent Ward is dangerous too. And he's going to show his brother just how mad he is about all the horrendous things he did. And Coulson will take a team to find the mysterious alien city they recently uncovered. Unless the wild-eyed doctor (and father to Skye [NOT HER NAME!]) beat him to it and put Tripp's life in danger. Jay and Josh try to uncover all the madness on this week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Case Files. Download now, to decrypt the data-stream directly to your MP3 player!

Catching Up: (0:22) Laura finished season 6 of Doctor Who and she loved Baby Stormaggedon. Her DVR crashed and she lost all of her fall shows, which is really sad. Her brother and his assorted kids are coming for a visit and to go to Disneyland. And she's been dying a ton to catch up after selling at a bunch of fiber festivals and for some of the Mean Girls Yarn Club. She is starting a Sunnydale Club KAL/CAL on Halloween (but it's not too late to join--details are here). And she is starting to per for Stitches West, because it's coming up faster than you would think. Jen saw Dracula Untold with Melissa and it was entertainingly bad (this recap from the Toast is better than the movie). She is planning a party for Ron's big milestone birthday and is therefore cooking all the things and shopping for all the things. She finished her cross-stitch project from Watty's Wall Stuff. She's been spinning a lot, she plied up her Knitpicks Wool of the Andes roving in Amethyst and is now spinning her Wool of the Andes Sapphire roving. The cowl pattern she did for the first Sunnydale club patrol, I Flunked the Written, is available for general sale. Flu season has her very busy with work. She is also still taking her Shakespeare class and working on one of Emilia's monologues from Othello. In the Knitting Bag: (13:20) Laura is still working on her Yggdrasil Afghan by Lisa Jacobs out of Berroco Vintage Chunky in Mocha. She's working on the first border section and it's beautiful but it's slow going. She's also working on a hat for Halos of Hope out of orange, lavender, and sienna Knitpicks Brava. And she cast on the Motoring Madness mittens by Audrey Nicklin out of some custom-dyed Dizzy Blonde DK. Jen is working on her Chickadee Cardigan by Ysolda Teague from Little Red in the City out of Quince and Co. Chickadee in Rosa Rugosa, Slate, Egret, and Lichen. She just has to knit the body to length and then do the button bands/neckband. She wants to do cross stitch buttons like Ysolda did in the book. She's hoping to have enough yarn to do a Wee Chickadee for her niece. She's also working on her Heirloom Layette Set by Kerin Dimeler-Laurence out of Cascade Heritage in Snow. She's disappointed that she hasn't had any response from Knit Picks about the error, so she's about ready to make up her own edging and call it done. But for now she is working on the sweater. She's working on her plain socks out of FabFunkyFibres 15 Coloured Rainbow self-striping yarn. She's probably going to do the afterthought heel before she's done with the foot to make the sure the foot is the right length, especially because the shallowness of the heel doesn't always fit her well. And she worked just a little bit on her Watership Down KAL Shawl out of Unique Sheep Selene in the colorway Nature Walk. Finished Objects: (21:56) Laura finished her hat for Halos of Hope out of grey and brown Knitpicks Brava. Jen finished her Dump Truck Cardigan from 60 More Quick Baby Knits out of Knit Picks Stroll Sport in a bunch of colors. And she finished her Night Blooming Shawlette for Sunnydale Yarn Club Patrol 2. The shawl is inspired by Drusilla and is currently exclusive, but will be available for purchase in 6 months. Devil's Tower (24:25) Laura has a ton of stuff (booth samples) that need a reblocking or a first blocking. Jen also has some stuff that could use a good bit of reblocking/washing. She also wove in the ends of her Playful Stripes Cardigan so she can do the buttonbands and block. We talk about reblocking and storage of pieces. Frog Pond: (27:51) Laura had to tink back a bit on the edging of her Yggdrasil due to not paying enough attention. Jen had a red wine incident with her Heirloom Baby Layette sweater. Luckily it was only one drop and it did wash out, but she really, really, really should have known better. On Deck: (31:00) Laura wants to make her same huge list and also Owl Mittens for her friend's daughter. The rest of her list includes Dreambird by Nadita Swings, Ink by Hanna Maciejewska, and a pair of Iron Man style Knitted Scale Mail Gloves by CraftyMutt for her step-granddaughter's father for Christmas. Jen wants to make he Bobble Bearded Beanie by Topsy Turvy, the Porcupine Blanket from 60 Quick Baby Knits out of Cascade 220 Superwash, another Playful Stripes Cardigan, the Baby Yours Sweater), the Hitofude Cardigan, and a CustomFit top. We mention Melissa's feature in a recent Ravelry Community Eye Candy Post and also the Yarnover Truck. Knit Culture: (37:55) October's theme was Fall/Samhain/Halloween. Prize drawing next episode. November's theme for the Stashdown is Food! Post your FOs in the thread. And we review the fantastic Sock Architecture by Lara Neel (of Math4knitters), published by Cooperative Press. We both LOVE this book and think it is a necessity for anyone who wants to knit socks. It's brilliant. And the patterns have beautiful details. We mention Cookie A and Hunter Hammerson. We also mention a new knitting podcast, Schmevelyn Wees. Geek Culture: (49:11) We mention the podcast Pop Culture Case Study, which is hosted by Dave, a friend of Miss Kalendar (who hosts the Brass Needles Podcast). He discusses movies in the context of psychology and it's really interesting and geeky and fun. We also love the fangirl fixation segment. And we fangirl about Age of Ultron trailer, Agents of SHIELD, and the upcoming Agent Peggy Carter. Events: (59:15) We were both at WeFF on November 2nd, in Torrance. Dizzy Blonde Studios was a vendor. Stitches West is February 19-22 and both Jen and Laura will be there. Laura is vending and Jen will be taking a ton of classes, but come say hi! Our next milestone prize will be at 1000 members, so join the Ravelry Group. And don’t forget to post your finished October projects in the thread! Keep stashing down!

It's time to come out of the "Shadows". You may have been on a summer break, but Director Coulson has been working hard to assemble agents for the new and improved SHIELD. One that will be loyal and do whatever it takes to fight HYDRA. As one of their first tasks, they will have to stop Carl Creel (aka The Absorbing Man) from getting a mysterious object. One that has been locked away by Agent Peggy Carter since the first war with HYDRA back in World War II. The now incarcerated Ward will tip Skye off that The Absorbing Man can turn his body into any material he can touch. So they will have to hurry to stop him. If only Fitz could remember how to create a cloaking device for them. Nevertheless, it's time to tighten the tie and keep the suit pressed, because we are back in action! Jay and Josh will talk about it all on the first episode of the season episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Download now, to decrypt the data-stream directly to your MP3 player!
