We have a surprise for you! The surprise is a power woman: Betsy Chasse. She is a Hollywood director, prolific author and speaker. Another job that shows up on her resume is Mom. She directed the classic What the Bleep!#? Do We Know? and worked with Clinton on Leap: The Coaching Movie. She is a researcher of storymaking and storytelling, especially in the context of propaganda that shape the cultural environment of communities and countries. She invited Clinton and myself to deliver our experience in building new stories and expanding our awareness of the stories we snap it, and how to snap out of them. This 2-hour rich experiential worktalk took place on March 9, 2025. Here is the gist -- Stories have been given to you since birth: Time for bed. You have to do your homework. Be nice. Get good grades so you can get a good job... Even bigger stories come soon after: This is a democracy. The economy is in danger. Your vote matters. You should join the military. The news is true... Since human beings are story-makers, why haven't you learned to extract yourself from propaganda and reinvent your life stories to build a better world? Here are two hours to gain a meta-view of story-making and practicing telling the stories that make you, and the world around you, brave and kind and healthy and happy.

We've all heard stories about people being cured without traditional allopathic medical treatment, or perhaps in spite of it. Some people call it miraculous; others see it as luck. But others see it as the power of using the energy both within and around us and believe it just might be on the cutting edge of future ways of healing. Filmmaker Betsy Chasse had heard about and been witness to such healings, but as a natural born skeptic sought out proof of the legitimacy of energy healing. So, she interviewed a number of practitioners and produced a series on Energy Healing called Energy The Ultimate Healer, now available on YouTube. She sat down with me and talked about how there is now real science behind the use of this unseen force called energy and tells us:•What energy healing is and isn't•How you may be using energy healing without realizing it•How science shows how energy healing works•Amazing examples of energy healing at work•The science behind auras and Reiki•Modern medicine's slow move toward energy healing•The healing result that really surprised her•What you can do to promote your healing process•How to spot a true healer versus an imposter Whether you're a skeptic like Betsy or a whole-hearted believer in energy, you'll learn something new on this informative episode of Dream Power Radio. Betsy Chasse is an award-winning Filmmaker, Best Selling Author, Change-Maker, Mom. Best known as the Co-Writer, Director and Producer of the hit film What The Bleep Do We Know?!, Betsy has also produced and directed Bliss Up - Energy The Ultimate Healer, a 5-part documentary-series exploring energy healing. Sara Wells and her crew are exactly what we need to remind us that life is a journey best enjoyed with authenticity, vulnerability and laughter. I couldn't stop laughing even as I soaked up the wisdom this hilarious tale has to tell. Enjoy this total page turner. Elaine Hendrix, Actress (What The Bleep Do We Know!? Desperate for work and a new life, she takes on a documentary project about spirituality and the New Thought movement. Will Killing Buddha mark her triumphant return to the riches she thinks her life once contained? Or will she and her mismatched crew of seekers, believers and cynics find that, in the end, it's not what you have and what you believe in, but who you ultimately become that counts? Funny and light-hearted, Killing Buddha is a thought-provoking, mostly fictional tale based on the experiences of Betsy Chasse, award-winning filmmaker of the international hit indie film What the Bleep Do We KnowI? which ignited the New Thought industry for the new millennium. Betsy Chasse – Killing Buddha: The Truth Shall Set You Free But First It Will Make You Miserable Aired Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST The mid to late 1980’s where a major turning point in my life. Corresponding to my mid to late 30’s, a series of synchronicities reopened a dormant spiritual path, a path that had been asleep since my early teens. Grounded in science and logic, my world view started shifting as I explored spirituality amidst the burgeoning New Age and New Thought Movements. I was simultaneously thrilled and shaken as this transformation unfolded, later finding that there were millions having the same experience. My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Betsy Chasse, experienced something similar as Co-Writer, Director and Producer, of the 2004 hit Indie film, “What The Bleep Do We Know.” Betsy Chasse is an award-winning filmmaker and best-selling author. She also produced “Song of the New Earth,” “Radical Dating,” and “Pregnant in America.” Her books include Tipping Sacred Cows and Metanoia: A Transformational Change of Heart. She is the Head of Content for CGood TV, a conscious media platform and has written for several national magazines. Her website is https://betsychasse.net/ and she joins me this week to share her path and her just published novel that she describes as “A somewhat true story about what happens when the least spiritual woman on the planet gets hired to make a movie about New Age Spirituality.” The title of her book, Killing Buddha: The Truth Shall Set You Free But First It Will Make You Miserable. She is truly extraordinary beyond belief. She is a prime example of a woman who wears multiple hats and does it so incredibly well. She is a real role model for anyone who has to play multiple roles within their life. We had a BLAST talking about Spiritual Porn, Motherhood, Empathy, Dating and loving ourselves through this thing called life! Betsy shared about her journey with the concepts of empathy, unconditional love and how to be non judgmental, which is something we all have difficulty doing at times. We discussed, in depth, on how to love others and ourselves. We laughed, shared, swore (a lot!)… It was really an inspirational conversation with a woman who walks her talk. (Encore Show) Best Selling Authors Betsy Chasse (Tipping Sacred Cows) and Cate Montana (The E Word) with 17 authors from around the world. We wll be discussing their new book, "All You Need is Love: The Importance of Transcending Spiritual Cliches and Living Their Deeper Wisdom." At a time when people need spiritual substance never has substance been so hard to find. If you're like me, you are probably weary of all the “feel good” social media memes and lookalike (boring) spiritual programs guaranteed to deliver abundance, soulmates and enlightenment overnight in an easy 3 step process. Cliché has overtaken hard-won insight, perseverance, depth, long hours of contemplation and meditation and true spiritual advancement. All of this has taken a toll on us. All You Need Is Love is a much-needed antidote, breathing substance back into hackneyed topics, from desirelessness to the wisdom of seeking enlightenment, from the existence of the soul to the wisdom of posting yet one more fluffy spiritual meme on Facebook. In this book, 19 authors tell the tales of how they learned to go beyond pat sayings and shallow interpretations of spiritual beliefs as they struggled to find their way to greater and more meaningful lives. The Authors include: Sharon Ballantine ? Susie Beiler ? Marie Benard ? Patrick Cameron ? Betsy Chasse ? Mary Clarke ? Michele Cutler ? Cameron Day ? Lisa Dimond ? Catherine Ellis ? Morgan D. Hartt ? Cate Montana, MA ? Kate Rodger, PhD ? Louise SaintOnge ? Linda L. Sechrist ? Julie Starr ? Parri Ulrich ? Christine Upchurch ? Divorced for almost 1.5 years and transformed by the process, Betsy Chasse wrote a book called METANOIA -A Transformative Change of Heart. After making BLEEP, Betsy realized she had created a persona of what people expected and lost all sight of who she was. The film is about the getting back to the basics. Remembering that all we are seeking is within us. A big part of the film revolves around the idea that we cannot love another until we truly love ourselves.

Elly Molina is an Amazon Bestselling author, an international MindPower Consultant and visionary. She holds a Master's Degree in Linguistics from NYU and has been an educator for over 3 decades. She is the concierge consultant, trusted mentor, and intuitive adviser to Heads of State, Celebrities, Business Professionals and Seekers and has literally given thousands of readings in her life. She is the founder of Psi-Kids, where children and adults learn to develop, trust and utilize their mind power and intuitive abilities. Elly has appeared on FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, and in The New York Times. In this episode we talk about energy dynamics, exercise to access and strengthen your intuition, telepathy, and more. How can we learn to access better qualities of energy? How can we communicate better from an energy perspective? The way we are taught and raised, we are not raised to pay attention to energy on daily basis. We are not thought to ponder upon the fact that we are a part of collective consciousness. We transmit energy all the time, we are energy beings. We develop language and a conversation around energy. Perhaps the conversation around energy does not even exist right now, we are always looking to create new conversations and new words. Once we learn to create conversation around energy and we have words and vocabulary, it will be much easier to teach awareness of energy. We need to have a language around energy. How can we become more aware of our own energy? The best way to become more aware of your own energy is to get centered. This can be done with meditation, mindfulness and going into that state of silence. Our mind is almost always working but if an individual can give themselves a few minutes of silence where they can clear their thoughts, they might achieve a higher state of consciousness and become more aware of their own energy. How do we access our innate intuitive abilities? First, you need to believe you have those abilities. If you do not believe, then you won’t be able to access them. We are born as intuitive human beings; it is a part of our makeup. However, through our society and the way we are raised and educated, most of us are programmed not to trust in our intuition and to not even believe in its existence. Intuition exists in all of us, it is a feeling of knowingness, it is something very close to instinct. How can we trust our intuition to make better choices? First of all, we need to have a conversation with ourselves that intuition exists. We also need to teach children to use intuition to make choices in their life. We need to find out where it exists in our body. Our body intuitively starts responding to different situations if we pay attention to body language. Any time our body starts to contract, that means we might be in a situation not favorable for us. We need to learn these subtle things about how our body reacts to different situations. How do you help children access their intuition and become more mindful and connected to their hearts? Elly usually works with children who are around 8 years old but sometimes she has children who are as young as three years old. One of the first things she teaches these kids is how to be still because it really is very important to access one’s intuition. When children are taught to sit still, they are incredibly intuitive. She starts off with small steps like instructing children to focus on a candle for two to three minutes without moving their body. She tries to establish communication with children in reference to how they feel, what their heart feels like. This is how she is able to tap into their intuitive self. If she feels like the kid is more comfortable with this practice and is able to tap into their intuition, she takes it to the next level. She would have a stack of cards with different colors or different objects on the cards. Then the child is blindfolded and asked to guess the color of the card or the object that is on the card and they are able to guess it correctly. What is dancing in the unknown? It is a book written together with Betsy Chasse. She is the co-creator of a 2004 documentary film ‘What the Bleep Do We Know?!’. It was a movie about the quantum field and how we create our reality. It was a big hit. It showed that we are creators of our own reality. Betsy has been working in the film industry. She had this thought of writing a book in which she had the idea of sharing how she was drifted into the unknown in her life and how she explored new things. There were 16 people who contributed stories to this publication. The book contains some great stories and is full of wisdom. It talks about those moments when these people left behind the known and entered in the unknown sphere, trusting their instincts and underwent complete new experience in their lives. What is the best advice you have ever been given? The best advice she has been given is to stop spending and start investing her thoughts, time and her money. Everything in life must be an investment. We know what it means to waste time and money but a lot of people have no idea what it means to waste a thought. Wasting a thought is obsessing over things we cannot change. It means to spend time in worry and have negative outlook towards everything in life. Our thoughts must be an investment to create a better life for ourselves and people around us. How can we connect with you? You can find more about her through her website. In typical ‘Betsy Chasse' style, Betsy tells it like it is in her new book, Tipping Sacred Cows. I love this book because it challenges all the ‘spiritual teachings' that we have heard about happiness, love, and spirituality. Of course, the irony of this book is that these challenges/questions are coming from the ‘mother' of spirituality. Most of us know Betsy best as being one of the producers of the award-winning film, What the Bleep Do We Know?! If you are unfamiliar with this film, it is probably one of the quintessential pieces of work that explores the connection between quantum physics and consciousness. On our show, we're going to talk about Betsy's latest journey through divorce and the spiritual questions that it sparked. Speaking of being a mom, Betsy is the mom to two children, Elora and Max. We're going to question and, maybe, answer some of life's greatest questions. What a tremendous honor to welcome Betsy Chasse.

On this edition of Conscious Living, Wendy talks to author and independent film producer Betsy Chasse about her new book Metanoia: A Transformational Change of Heart. The book deals with the changes in her life that took place in the ten years that have passed since the production and release of What the Bleep Do We Know?!, the hugely successful documentary and book that brought her world-wide attention. As Betsy herself puts it, it's "a book about getting real... reveal[ing] a woman in the aftermath of public and domestic success; a woman in the process of being humbled by life; a woman who yearns for vulnerability and authenticity even as she rails against the need for facing the limiting self-concepts she holds inside that keep her from embracing—and loving—her true self."
