What is a daily rhythm? If you have been homeschooling for at least six months, you know your family has a certain "groove.” It might be somewhat different each day, but the basic rhythm is the same. In recent years, homeschooling moms refer to their family's unique groove as their “daily rhythm.” The terminology may have changed but the concept is still the same. Whatever you call it, every family has it. In this week's episode, Carrie gives a glimpse into her family's daily rhythm and shares ideas on how to find and lean into your own family groove. Finding your family's groove will help create peace in your home and creating a daily rhythm will give you a sense of security. Take a deep breath and smell the coffee brewing, pour yourself a cup of joe, and join Carrie for this little coffee break.Support the showTo purchase Carrie's homeschooling book, Just Breathe (and Take a Sip of Coffee): Homeschool in Step with God), visit Amazon.com. Today we sat down with Dr. Nate Klemp, author and co-founder of Mindful Magazine. Nate and his wife Kaley co-wrote The 80/80 Marriage, a book that we found to be full of practical insights about how to avoid resentment and replace it with radical generosity between you and your spouse. Nate also explains how to visualize the true priorities in your marriage, practices for modeling a healthy marriage for your kids, and five habits you and your family can implement to create more time for what really matters to you.
