Digital Nomad Podcast with Ocean Lawrence from Ho Chi Minh City aka Saigon, VIETNAM! Just 2 years ago Ocean was making living arrangements for his Freshmen year at University, but in a leap of faith decided to postpone it to chase the dream. Good choice. Flash forward two years and now he's making a full-time Southeast Asia living online and has lived in Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US and Canada. We met in October of 2014 at the weeklong Dropship Lifestyle Retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand (where I'm writing this) which consisted of 100 new and experienced online entrepreneurs. We both stayed to live in Chiang Mai for the next 6 months while we learned from others how to best go about starting our online businesses. Ocean talks about getting started with Teespring, internships with other digital nomads, learning Facebook Ads, and eventually getting into Amazon FBA selling / importing. So... Yeah! It's possible people! Enjoy! Leave your questions in the comments! [thank u 4,000 subs!]

Kai and I discuss our times in Chiang Mai and Saigon and compare the differences between the two for starting your online business. We also talk about how we got started selling on Amazon MY AMAZON COURSE: http://theamazonmethod.com/ . SUBSCRIBE for more Videos and Digital Nomad nuggets of wisdom:) I met Kai in Chiang Mai last October where it all got started at the Dropship Lifestyle 2014 retreat where 100 Digital Nomads met up for a week to pick each other's brains about what was working. The end goal was the same, to be able to have a full-time income working remotely so allow for long-term travel. We podcasted recently when he was on Remote Year, and he just moved to Saigon. He started selling on Amazon right away after the conference and I soon followed his footsteps because of his success, so I thank him forever for that. We are both now using the Amazon method to fund our travels. Mindhacking, lifehacking, mindset hacking, whatever you wanna call it, every entrepreneur knows mindset is important. From The 4-Hour Workweek concept of wasting your energy, low information diet, to the more philosophical tactics of being in tune with your best truest innermost self and projecting the best version of you out the the world. But it's not easy to figure out that deep psychology yourself, which is why I got a lot of value out of this chat, just from the questions that I'm now asking myself about the direction of where my mindset is projecting me to go. Cam is a mind hacker and also a digital nomad - he shares a bit about how he got interested in the topic coming from the world of sports, how he's worked with and seen case studies with New Zealand Olympic athletes, F-1 Racecar drivers, and now entrepreneurs. Check out his page to learn more about the 7-Day MindHacking challenge where he personalizes weekly and daily routines and mind hacks for success - I am definitely interested in it myself as we're on the brink of taking our Biz/Life to the next level. Digital Nomad Podcast w/ Evan of MotiveInMotion.com - from Times Square Saigon Vietnam - How we quit our jobs to become digital nomads. From YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyTXVhoBAHE&list=PLIsHX7vpse9kSKXXEX9UnpM3omyW3Qa1c&index=37 I met Evan at the Dropship Lifestyle conference in Chiang Mai in October '14. We both wanted to share our stories cuz it's still crazy that our big dream from our little apartments back home to quit our jobs to make passive income online and travel the world has started to become real. It's over a year later and we're still living out in SE Asia working full-time online, making a full-time online income that gets us by our here (we only spend around $1000 bucks a month out here). You start small with what you have and then grow your business from there. Evan sold his niche dropshipping website for 10k after 8 months and I was full-time making money off Amazon FBA about 6 months after the conference. We both do Amazon private labeling now, aka importing from Alibaba.com and selling on Amazon. Our Keys to Success: - Attending an conference to make friends on the same mission - Moving to Chiang Mai to live and work amongst other online people on the same mission, and to $ave Dat Money - to INVEST! Not spend on rent and food! - In Evan's case, having huge balls to drop out of college. In my case, having a best friend to move out here with. - Wanting it bad enough, being sick and tired enough of your job, boredom etc. And having the right mindset: "If they can do it, I can too." See a trend here? You must get amongst people on the same mission. We couldn't have made it happen just hunkered down in our apartments back home spending too much on rent. Saving money by living out here is key as well. Save as much as you can from your job and come out here and make it happen - if you want if bad enough. Because we did, that's a major Check out Evan's blog www.MotiveInMotion.com - tons of great free content to get your MINDSET started off in the right place! Leave a comment too! We want this all to be an open discussion so ask us anything!
