Mindset is a tricky thing. In fact, it's one of the things that took me the longest to wrap my head around as an early-stage entrepreneur. Give me all the strategies, the tactile things I could do and I was on it. But when it came to mindset—that intangible thing, to be honest, I just wasn't about it. It made me think of super woo-woo practices and nothing against that, but it wasn't my thing. I felt silly saying affirmations or thinking a simple shift in the way I thought about things could really make a difference. To be totally blunt, I was living in a victim mindset, and victim-mindset me, was not interested in changing her frame of mind even if it meant more sales, more clients, more happiness. Because it was comfortable. Looking back, I feel embarrassed saying that out loud. Because fast forward and 8k+ month me knows that mindset has played a HUGE role in my success and yet for years I stubbornly avoided that. Think of how much time I wasted. How much money was left on the table. And the really big one—how many lives I could have changed. In this episode, I chat with Jennifer Henderson, who teaches women to operate their lives like a business. I LOVE that. And true to her word, we talk about everything from money mindset to relationship mindset and intentional living. And don't worry, I make sure to ask Jennifer the tactile strategies for implementing these mindset shifts, because if you're anything like me, you need a little something to grasp onto. I've got you. :) Hit play on today's episode and enjoy! Jennifer Henderson, a woman who sets standards In this episode of The Medical sales talk podcast, your host Zadous welcomes Jennifer Henderson as the guest. Highlights from the episode · How Jennifer switched from pharmaceuticals to medical sales. · Jennifer explains How she broke into the industry. · What Jennifer enjoys doing more in her field of job. Jennifer comes from Atlanta, Georgia but she now lives in New York City. Jennifer says that she has always wanted to challenge herself by moving away from home. Asked how she likes the transition from pharmaceuticals to medical sales, she says in pharmaceuticals, there are far more restrictions and you don’t get that patient interaction. She even jokes on how she has been lost in the big city a few times and where she declares that her biggest challenge is commuting. Jennifer says that she never lowered her morale due to the people who always said to her that she wasn’t experienced enough. In fact, she kept following up because success is all about following up. She wanted to text as many names as possible. Jennifer utters that by keeping that same energy made her to eventually land the job. Asked what she really enjoys more when its time to get her products across, she declares that the patients are always important to her because she is able to impact their lives and her job is to make sure that the patients are properly represented. She gives some piece of advice to the sales representatives out there that they should operate with integrity and focus. (you should listen to both ladies by the way, they are fired up and always laughing in the episode) As the episode concludes, Jennifer says that breaking into the industry is all about how you present yourself and operating our lives as a business. Jennifer Henderson on her story of her encounter with Christ in adoration during "Encountering Christ's Real Presence."
Jennifer Henderson, SLP, discusses the developmental milestones of speech and language from birth to three, including examples of receptive language, expressive language, and articulation. She also offers strategies early interventionists can use when working with early language learners.
After being removed from 2 big promotion opportunities upon the announcement of each of her pregnancies, Jennifer Henderson, said that's enough. I can either be part of the litigation OR I can be the solution. She chose the solution. And the birth of Career Allies. With the increasing demands of HR in the workplace, there has been a shift of HR functions to be placed in the hands of managers -- who are often under-trained and under-resourced in the conversations around family leave. Jen and her team sit at that crossroads, navigating and creating solutions in a space where pregnancies in the workplace are handled with the greatest of care; where the employees are engaged and supported equally by their employers and employers are supported to plan for next steps.
