How a Love of SEO and Entrepreneurship Helped Shaunda Necole Grow Three Successful Websites and Hit 1 Million Monthly Pageviews Shaunda Necole has a true passion for being an entrepreneur — from her first business owning a cheerleading product company to today, running three websites, a food tour of Las Vegas, writing books, and more. In this interview, she shares more about her love of SEO and keyword research and how her SEO strategy has changed in light of Google's recent Helpful Content Updates. I'd like to begin this episode by acknowledging the land that I am learning and living on is the traditional unceded, un-surrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People. It's been a long time, but I'm so excited to have a conversation with Necole Belanger, Retired Command Chief Warrant Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Necole's book, Pride Amid Prejudice, where Necole offers her story. This is a story about pride, frustration, happiness, anger, shame, joy, prejudice. Necole and I will talk about how her desire to serve her country, to make an institutional difference, led to her sacrificing her values, to allowing herself be silenced, all for the desire to make a difference.Trench Leadership: A Podcast From the Front is humbled to have been named #8 in the Top 20 for Best Canadian Leadership-themed podcasts for 2023. We talked about: What the term “job hopper” means How at-will employment applies to employees too Generational differences in the way we approach work Reasons people might have for changing jobs The importance of a paycheck in determining if people stay at their jobs How to boost retention (without focusing on candidates' employment history) What companies miss out on when they refuse to hire job hoppers

This prevents company leadership from making necessary changes, and prevents people from feeling fulfilled, recognized, and included at work. At AllVoices, we want to change that by providing a completely safe, anonymous way for people to report issues directly to company leaders. This allows company leadership real transparency into what's happening in their companies—and the motivation to address issues quickly. Our goal is to help create safer, more inclusive companies.
