Proactive's Tylah Tully breaks down ‘Just the Facts' of the latest news from Kali Metals Ltd (ASK:KM1). Kali shares rose 21% in early ASX trading following the expansion of a gold-in-soil anomaly at the Marble Bar Gold-Lithium Project in Western Australia. Analysis of 619 historical soil samples increased the anomaly's length by 80%, now totalling 9.5 kilometres. Initial fieldwork has mapped less than 1 kilometre of the anomaly, identifying the Tiger and Sherman prospects. These prospects feature gold-bearing quartz veins up to 7 metres wide and 120 metres long, with surface grades reaching up to 4 g/t gold. The company plans to resume fieldwork this quarter to ground-truth the remaining anomaly, aiming to identify and define drill targets. Kali expressed optimism about the results, stating that gold exploration will now be the primary focus at Marble Bar, with lithium exploration remaining secondary. At the Panther lithium prospect, trenching returned average grades of 0.14% and 0.48% lithium across two channels, pointing to additional lithium potential within the project. #ProactiveInvestors #KaliMetals, #MarbleBarProject, #GoldExploration, #TigerProspect, #ShermanProspect, #ASXStocks, #GoldAnomaly, #LithiumExploration, #WesternAustraliaMining, #CriticalMinerals, #GoldMining, #MineralsExploration, #ResourceDevelopment, #GoldQuartzVeins, #MiningUpdates, #DrillTargets, #AustralianMining, #PantherLithium, #InvestingInMining, #MiningNews

Kali Metals Ltd (ASX:KM1) managing director Paul Adams talks with Proactive's Tylah Tully about the identification of a significant gold in soil anomaly at the Marble Bar Lithium-Gold Project in Western Australia. Adams details how the anomaly spans approximately five kilometres, with gold grades identified up to four grams per tonne on the surface. This discovery was made during recent exploration activities that also confirmed the presence of lithium pegmatites at the site. Adams explained that Kali Metals regained full ownership of the Marble Bar Project following a renegotiation of its joint venture with SQM Australia. Subsequent mapping and sampling efforts led to the identification of promising gold systems in the southwest portion of the lease. "The discovery offers an exciting new value creation opportunity for our shareholders," he noted. While Kali Metals remains committed to its lithium exploration plans, Adams highlighted that the newly discovered gold systems would be a focus moving forward. The company plans to conduct further mapping and sampling in 2024 to define robust drill targets, with drilling expected to commence in 2025. #ProactiveInvestors #KaliMetals #ASX #MarbleBarProject #GoldDiscovery #LithiumExploration #ASXKM1 #WesternAustraliaMining #GoldAnomaly #MineralExploration #ProactiveInvestors

Kali Metals Ltd (ASX: KM1) managing director Paul Adams joins Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss promising results the company has received from first-pass mapping and rock chip sampling at the Marble Bar Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The presence of significant lithium and gold mineralisation has been confirmed on the surface, with assays returning up to 1.5% lithium oxide (Li2O) and 3.0 g/t gold. At Panther Lithium Prospect the company identified lithium oxide up to 1.5% from a lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite, with multiple samples more than 1% Li2O across a 1.1-kilometre strike length. At Tiger Gold Prospect, gold assays up to 3.0 g/t from quartz veins within monzogranite were identified across a 400x400 metre area. At the Sherman Gold Prospect, Kali's rock chip sample returned 1.7 g/t gold from a quartz sub-crop several metres wide. The reconnaissance work follows previous exploration by Kalamazoo Resources, which identified significant lithium and gold potential in the area. Kali Metals plans to conduct further outcrop sampling and mapping to inform drilling programs scheduled for 2025. Adams expressed satisfaction with the initial results, highlighting the potential for additional targets and ongoing fieldwork to further refine exploration efforts. #ProactiveInvestors #KaliMetals, #ASX #LithiumExploration, #GoldExploration, #MarbleBarProject, #PilbaraMining, #LithiumPotential, #GoldDiscovery, #MiningNews, #RockChipSampling, #Pegmatite, #ExplorationResults, #WesternAustraliaMining, #LCTPegmatites, #Fieldwork, #MiningExploration, #GeologicalMapping, #ExplorationUpdate, #MiningDrilling, #GoldMineralisation, #LithiumAssays #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Calidus has completed a $16.5 million capital raise to further bolster its balance sheet, as the company has restructured its financing arrangement with Macquarie Bank, freeing up approximately $31 million in cash flow this year. The financing restructure involved rolling 21,000 ounces of hedged gold production into the future and deferring $10 million in debt amortization payments. These measures are expected to provide Calidus with the financial flexibility needed to deliver on its growth objectives. Managing Director David Reeves emphasized the importance of this restructuring, stating that the company's hedge deliveries were the single biggest impediment to its cash flow generation.Alongside the financial restructuring, Calidus has made notable operational improvements at its flagship Warrawoona Gold Project. With the completion of major cutbacks, the company is now accessing higher-grade ore from the main Klondyke orebody, leading to record gold recoveries in recent weeks. The combination of increased production, lower mining costs, and higher feed grades is expected to drive significant quarter-on-quarter cash flow growth.Looking ahead, Calidus has a pipeline of high-grade growth projects that underpin its medium-term production target of 120,000 ounces per year within the next three years. The recently acquired Nullagine project, which hosts a historic resource of 1.4 million ounces, presents a near-term opportunity to boost production. The company is evaluating options to either truck ore from Nullagine to its Warrawoona plant or restart the existing 1.8 Mtpa processing facility at Nullagine.Other key growth projects include the high-grade Blue Spec satellite pit, the over 4 g/t Bulletin underground deposit, and Marble Bar discoveries. With its financial constraints addressed and a clear path to production growth, Calidus appears well-positioned to capitalize on the strong outlook for the Australian gold sector. The investment thesis for Calidus Resources centers on its enhanced financial flexibility, record operational performance, and robust pipeline of organic growth projects. As the company continues to deliver on its production and cash flow growth targets, it offers investors exposure to an emerging mid-tier Australian gold producer with a significantly de-risked investment proposition.View Calidus Resources' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/calidus-resources-limitedSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Tropical Cyclone Ilsa has made landfall in Western Australia with warnings it is the strongest storm seen in the state for almost 15 years. It powered up to a category 5 storm, the strongest possible category, as it neared land. Ilsa crossed land just after midnight (WA time) on Friday morning with winds speeds approaching 300kmh. It hit the Pilbara region near the Pardoo Roadhouse and De Grey, 150 km north of Port Hedland and 450km south of Broome. The storm is now officially record breaking, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), has confirmed. It set a new preliminary Australian 10-minute sustained wind speed record of 218km/h at Bedout Island, just off the WA coast. Cyclone George in 2007 hit 194km/h for 10 minutes at the same location. “The very destructive core of Ilsa, with extreme gusts up to 295 km/h is impacting areas near Pardoo Roadhouse and De Grey during the next few hours, before tracking inland,” the BOM said. Winds of around 150km/h could be felt inland in areas including Marble Bar and Telfer. While 90km/h winds may hit Port Hedland. Cyclone Ilsa was expected to strike Western Australia by Friday. Photo / Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology From 150 to 300mm of rain is likely around coastal areas near Illsa's eye during Friday. WA's Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) issued a red alert just hours ahead of Tropical Cyclone Ilsa making landfall warning of fierce winds up which had already reached 285km/h. Extremely destructive winds of up to 315km/h are expected around the centre of Ilsa The red alert covers people between Bidyadanga and Port Hedland (not including Bidyadanga) and inland to Marble Bar and Nullagine. “Stay indoors now. It is too late to leave,” said the DFES. Those in the red alert zone need to seek shelter immediately, and hunker down until the danger has passed. “The forecast for tomorrow is that it will maintain tropical cyclone intensity as it tracks past Telfer and further inland. Telfer could experience destructive winds up to 170 kmh,” said DFES. The Bureau of Meteorology's Todd Smith said Ilsa would cause a lot of damage to the landscape, and buildings that weren't up to code. “We know that this system is really packing a punch,” he said. “Category five cyclones are incredibly dangerous, with wind gusts in excess of 250km/h,” he said. “That's going to cause a heap of damage to trees, vegetation, if there were any caravans around they would be destroyed. “Any houses that aren't built to code are going to suffer extensive damage from that kind of wind strength.” - Benedict Brook & Alex Blair, news.com.auSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jim Edwards has been a fixture of the pastoral industry in Western Australia for decades. From growing up on a station near Marble Bar, to being a mustering pilot and station owner - there's not a lot Jim hasn't seen or done. At one point, he literally swapped his Pilbara cattle station for a farm in Queensland – talk about a tree change! But, as you'll learn in this episode, while you can take the man out of Western Australia … there's something that keeps pulling him back across, even after all these years. *** Use the code CENTRAL10 for 10% off your Ezijak! Ezijak is a 3-in-1 product that will make changing tyres a dream and have you back on the road within minutes. The Ezijak has a jack, air compressor, and rattle gun! The air compressor plugs into your 12 volt outlet or it can hook up to your battery and you can pump up the tyre if you have a small leak and drive to your closest Tyre Repair shop, or if you're out whoop whoop you can slowly make your way back to the nearest homestead! The Jack will lift your vehicle off the ground with a simple press of a button and lifts up to 3 ton, so easily lifts a 200 series Landcruiser – not that I can afford one of those, but it's nice to know if I ever upgrade I'll still be able to use my Ezijak. And the Rattle Gun will loosen the tightest of wheel nuts with no effort at all – meaning I no longer have to carry a piece of pipe to put over my wheel brace and jump up and down on to loosen and tighten nuts, and then be paranoid that I haven't tightened them properly as I drive off. The Ezijak is super easy to use, and if I can do it, then I think we all know that anyone can do it.   The Ezijak has been tested, approved and improved to Australian standards, and you should be careful of imitations. Just like you, the Ezijak team want to keep your family safe on the road. Learn more at ezijak.com.au

My mom was in her 20s in the 1960s, and Motown - be it Marvin Gaye, Tammy Terrell, Stevie Wonder or you name it - that was the music she’d have on the radio in the Detroit flower shop where she worked. When she had me years later, those same songs were installed in my heart as lullabies. Today’s episode honors founding Supreme Mary Wilson and tells some of her story. Her sudden passing at age 76 in her Henderson, Nevada home stunned Motown fans everywhere. She died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease - or, put more simply, high blood pressure caused by artery blockages. I’m going to focus on the news itself, how Mary Wilson made us feel and her impact. To help do that, I’m sharing parts of a candid conversation with her recorded by retired label executive Joe Smith in 1987. It is one recording among many that was donated as a collection by Smith to the Library of Congress, free to use and reuse with credit. There’s a citation link in the show notes and I encourage you to check out this treasure trove of American history. I also spoke with the knowledgeable Music historian and DJ Dan Austin. He is a founder of the Motor City Soul Club and the turntables he and his friends spin help keep the music alive for all generations to dance to with his Soul Stomp events at the Marble Bar. Interview with Quinton Hennigh, President of Novo Resources Corp. (TSX-V:NVO).This is an unconventional mining investment story and one which is difficult to understand using conventional measures.Founded in 2009, Novo Resources is an Australian Gold Explorer with 3 projects: main focus is the Karratha Gold project; followed Beatons Creek Gold project and 70% interest in a number of tenements in the Marble Bar region of Western Australia. Novo Resources does not have a producing gold asset yet. But has a market cap of CAD$559M with 178M share outstanding. After being taken through an introduction of the geology, we were keen to get to the crux of the matter. The company presentation is very technical so not easily accessible or understood by Retail investors, nor us. The company has been in existence since 2009, we want to know what is the business plan is and how they have attained a large market cap with only a 1Moz Resource. And what are the known economics or numbers that have driven such a large valuation? What does the drill data look like? Hennigh says Beaton's Creek is close to a 1Moz Resource (with additional Exploration upside) at 2.5g/t, and is fully permitted but has not indicated an AISC for the project. So could it be profitable. We don't know.Hennigh also says there is "considerable Exploration potential." Hennigh then points towards coarse Gold and promising mineralogy at Karratha. Again no specifics, just macro at this stage. In terms of its Marble Bar Gold assets, Hennigh claims it is at a very early stage. This is a vast land package, which relies on a macro thesis about what they have in the ground? So as we said, it is an unconventional story and a little vague. Read our article on the website to get our view on their business. When pushed, Hennigh is adamant that unusual mineralisation is what sets Novo Resources apart, and it seems some of his earlier stage investors like Newmont agreed with him back in 2013 when they invested the bulk of their money. Since 2009, Novo Resources has raised c.CAD$85M-$90M. Novo Resources currently has c. CAD$35M in cash. The burn rate is less than CAD$1M per month. So they are under no financial pressure.Novo's plan is to put its projects into production. When will Beaton's Creek get into production? Novo is currently looking at acquiring a mill in the area around the mine. Novo expects to fund the mill through equity, keeping the cash for Exploration purposes. Hennigh hopes to lead a step-out programme to expand the gold resource and unlock value. Novo is looking at JV's with some companies.Company page: https://www.novoresources.com/Make smarter investment decisions, subscribe here: https://www.cruxinvestor.comFor FREE unbiased investment information, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook:https://twitter.com/cruxinvestorhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/crux-investor/https://www.facebook.com/cruxinvestorTake advantage, hear it here first: https://www.youtube.com/CRUXinvestor

It was during his third year at High school he began fiddling with DJ equipment. Soup learnt about the dazzling new music form hip-hop and began developing production skills on crude sampling equipment in luxurious 8bit, his computer had an amazing 2 megabytes of memory. He began digging for samples and was mostly enthralled by Rhythm and Blues, Soul, early electronic music and spoken word records. Soup has recently signed to the reformed Creative Vibes which is now under the umbrella of MGM Groove Merchants. Look out for a new album early in 2010. Soup has remixed Aria nominated Watussi as well as Cookin On 3 Burners, both of which are on the amazing Knowfoowl label. Founding the Fonke Knomaads, Soup became producer, DJ and part time MC for the left field Sydney Hip-hop pioneers. They released a 5 track E.P. called "The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of..." on the now defunct label PoBoy records .Soup moved on to sign with influential Australian record label Creative Vibes . He soon released the groundbreaking Trip-Hop Album "Souperloops". Soup coined the term sampology and his tracks began popping up on several international compilations as well as having an album of the week on JJJ. This was the first local hip hop release to be given such an honour. The album was influential to local bands such as The Resin Dogs and Fretless. Further releases include collaborations with Fat Pizza star Sleek the Elite, the mini album "Eclectro" and the feature length album "From Anuva Planet" featuring Swollen Members and Gift of Gab from Blacalicious . Soup's last release was "Beatroot-The Edible Root of the Beat" which is out on Invada records. A label run by members of Katalyst and Portishead.
