Our Rifts (and their 'passengers', the Contemporary Now characters) have finally found and entered the Singing Forest, where all your dreams come true! Well, that's not entirely accurate. Let's go with...nightmares. Yeah, that's better. But in any case, there'll be adventure, heartbreak, choices to be made, and ... SINGING! Note: This is the Beta version of the Musical Episode. If it's Halloween, this must be Eraserhead!! Greetings, dark spirits and woodspeople of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to Back to the Double R's Very Special Horrorshow, in which we wander through the industrial and psychological wastelands of David Lynch's first creature feature film, Eraserhead. What better way to celebrate the Spooky Season than in lush black and white, and claustrophobic paranoia? In this episode, Jennifer spots Eraserhead lurking throughout Twin Peaks; Jonathan dissects Lynch's sympathy for the grotesque; Colin plunges through the inescapable surreal; and Damon comes face to face with the clutches of parental anxiety. For the Twist, we examine the stripped down production techniques of black-and-white film and minimal dialogue and ponder how they can send shivers right down us! Next month, it's our long-rumored Musical Episode (well, sort of) in which we groove to Angelo Badalamenti's timeless Twin Peaks soundtrack via Clare Nina Norelli's book in the 33-1/3 series, available now via your local independent bookstore! Hi there, my name is Ann Sloan, the creator of The Carlötta Beautox Chronicles. Our show is a satirical, screwball comedy about a wanna-be actress and influencer who is trying to make it big in Hollywood. This episode is entitled: The Musical Episode is exactly that -- our first foray into the realm of musicals. It is very much outside the norm of what we usually do and I do hope you enjoy it. And dare I ask: who would be last investigator you would be friends with and why?EtienneOur 4-player Arkham group is at Heart of the Elders now (yes a year behind current) with a deck from every faction except survivor (Mark, Skids, Agnes, Joe). We are all using my one collection with 2 core sets. Another friend is moving in town and I want to deal him in with a survivor deck. That would mean playing with 5 players, following the setup rules for 4 players, each drawing once from the encounter deck every turn, and improvising to rules issues when necessary. Have you heard of anyone in the community having any success before with 5-players? Any scenarios coming up that might make it problematic? We expect longer playtime and are ok with it. Long ago, a joke was made that the World Walkers should do a Musical Episode. My immediate scoffing of such an idea, combined with the rest of the group’s embracing of said idea, began to feed the flames of interest. Every time we’d get together for a LiveDraw, hang out in the World Walkers Discord, or talk back and forth on Twitter, it wouldn’t be long before Musical Episode would get mentioned again. In an effort to bury the idea, I decided to put it up as a Patreon Goal. I said that if I ever brought in $500 dollars a month, that’s when I’d a Musical Episode. I then rested easy, knowing that World Walkers had a nice, long time before I’d ever have to worry about that… Well, that Goal has been achieved, and to be honest, it happened way faster than I thought. It’s taken time for us to get to a point where the Musical Episode would fit within the continuity of the series, but here we are: The Memorial for Brummelstone, who gave his years for a better timeline. The group has gathered this night to remember him, through story and song, before they venture onward… Music: “Ascending The Vale" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ “Awaiting Return" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ “Dreams Become Real" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ “Private Reflection" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ “There Is Romance" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Music - "I’m Letting Go" by Josh Woodward. The Musical Episode continues as our heroes leave the succubi in their wake and return to the smoldering remains of the cultist camp in search of dragon eggs... and lost livestock.
The Musical Episode! Our heroes face the music in the wake of their expulsion from Greenest, encountering such evils as singing farmers, group therapy, and mysterious figures in the woods. Steamy as in angry, or steamy as in seductive? The answer is… yes.

It's our first ever MUSICAL EPISODE! To be clear, we don't sing, but the characters in GREASE sure do! Join us for an exploration of SoCal high school life in the 50s as portrayed by the 70s as played by a cast of shockingly old actors and actresses. We've got deep thoughts on bullying, coolness, cars, and sleazy TV hosts who are definitely not Dick Clark. PLUS we've got info on Marc's children's birthday business, Will's love of Patty Simcox, and the first installment of Duck Talk! As always, remember to rate, review, and subscribe. Episode 15: The Musical Episode by Matt and Matty
THE WALKING DEAD Season 7, Episode 7 "Sing Me a Song" - Written by Angela Kang & Corey Reed, Directed by Rosemary Rodriguez Dustin: Siiiiiing... Timothy: No. Dustin: Siiiing a sooooong... Timothy: It clearly states up there that this is not a musical episode. Dustin: C'mon, Tim, sing along! Timothy: Nope. Dustin: Fine. You're no fun. Timothy: I am known far and wide for being no fun at all. I am OK with that. Dustin: And we... were kind of OK with this week's episode of THE WALKING DEAD. You see what I did there? Timothy: Yessss, that was, in fact, a transition of a kind. And here's another: Only one more episode to go until we take the Winter break from THE WALKING DEAD, and next week is another 90 minute episode. Dustin: Which this week did not need to be. At all. And then, TEEN WOLF! Timothy: Yes, it's true. While we wait for THE WALKING DEAD to come back, we're going to give Mr. Adair a chance to talk about the show he's been watching and often reviewing since it began, as we turn our attention to the final season of TEEN WOLF. Dustin: It's going to be great. But that's in a couple weeks. Right now, we hope you'll enjoy this week's Zombpocalypse Now!
It's another glorious Musical Episode of Love and Justice! This time we're talking Sera Myu: Un Nouveau Voyage with the prolific and talented geek personality known throughout the internet as Meredith Placko (@mplacko). Because that is her name. We're all extremely uncomfortable with the fact that Hotaru and Mistress 9 are played by the same person, equally uncomfortable with how attracted we are to Professor Tomoe, and downright relieved that there are no signs of any Draculas or absurdly large epaulettes anywhere in this musical. Among the highlights are Derrick's attempt to justify his love of Star Trek Five, and Tom's explanation why Norm MacDonald is funny.
