No Jean or Office Cora today, just me and you! In the news this morning, an update on the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, a deadly avalanche in Lake Tahoe, a cause of death for actor Peter Greene, a cat food recall, and Tom Noonan…another well-known actor…passes away at age 74. In sports, the Badger men's basketball team takes on Iowa on Sunday, the Bucks return to action tomorrow night after the NBA All-Star break, the US Men's hockey team beat Sweden in overtime yesterday, Kyrie Irving is done for the season, and another update from Lindsey Vonn. Let you know what's on TV today/tonight and discussed the first ever YouTube video…which is apparently going into a museum. Talked about the latest from the Olympics including an updated medal count, and a dog that ran onto the track during the women's cross-country skiing event yesterday. Couple of cool stories here: an injured bald eagle was rescued by a few members of the NYPD, a woman who suffered a medical emergency and ended up in a canal gets rescued by a stranger, and some construction workers lighten the mood for some patients at a children's hospital. Elsewhere in sports, the Seahawks are officially going up for sale, and the MLBPA hires a new executive director. Even though Jean & Cora are both out today, my Hypothetical question for you was: "You can have any ONE vehicle from a film or TV show. Which one are you choosing?" According to a new survey, just 14% of Americans are giving up something for Lent. In today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a guy who drove drunk to pay an open container fine and got popped for DUI, a former school custodian who was busted for hiding in the girls' locker room, a truck that was driving recklessly & launched into a house, a woman who assaulted her boyfriend with a jar of pickles, and a strip club is getting sued!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I had the extreme pleasure of sitting down with the filmmakers and producers behind the newly released film Clika. The film is executive produced by Jimmy Humilde and features stars such as Eric Roberts, Master P, and Peter Greene. It also marks the film debut of its lead actor, Jaydee. While this is his first acting role, he's no stranger to performing—he's the lead singer of the group Herencia de Patrones.Clika has been unofficially described as the Latino 8 Mile. I chopped it up with writer/director Michael Greene and writer/producers Ski-ter Jones and Sean McBride. The buzz and energy surrounding this film are palpable. These breakthrough filmmakers were kind enough to walk us through their journey, sharing how this indie project evolved from conception to execution and ultimately to a national Sony release.Their passion for storytelling is infectious and carries a childlike exuberance. Michael Greene, Ski-ter Jones, and Sean McBride are a fun, driven group of creatives clearly on a trajectory toward becoming Hollywood power players—and we've got a front-row seat to their launch.
In our first 2026 Off the Record we boldly feature Star Trek Academy the brand new feature from Paramount and Alex Kurtzman.Stewart Rips into the new series starring Holly Hunter as Captain Nahla Ake and Sandro Rosta who becomes the new chancellor to the recently resurrected Star Fleet Academy. Sandro the other main character plays a renegade who was upset with Starfleet's nefarious ways. As far as flops go this one beams you right into the dead of space, with just 90k views on their free premiere on YouTube.Rasto then reviews his TV series Archive 81 which is a fairly recent 2022 adaptation of various horror like series such as Rosemary's Baby and other copycats in the last few decades. Cancelled after just 1 season Rasto believes it was wrapped up nicely. Rebecca Sonnenshine developed this series and the main character is played by Mamoudou Athie.Ken leaps into action with his Clean Shaven pick from 1993 written and directed by Lodge Kerrigan and starring Peter Greene. It takes a serious look at mental illness and the consequences of letting people run free with such disabilities. With our lesser picks out of the way we move on to Stewart's better pick Together from 2025, which is a film based on the Greek Mythology of the better half, where people originally had 2 heads, 4 arms, and four legs. In this horror we see what would happen if two people were split, and were to suddenly start to meld together to become one. Directed by Michael Shanks, and starring Dave Franco with Alison Brie who are a real life couple. This film managed to get itself into a copyright dispute with another production company.Rasto then gives us his take on the 1966 French film Au hasard Balthazar. The film is unique because it follows around a donkey from the perspective of said animal, and how it interacts with the various humans and owners in it's life. Directed by Robert Bresson and starring Anne Wiazemsky who has a unique acting ability. Ken finally wraps up his 2021 pick Old Henry. This western seems to be unique in a way, and Ken enjoyed it. Directed and written by Potsy Ponciroli and starring Tim Blake Nelson. Stewart also has a quick follow-up on the Toxic Avenger Reboot. This is a public episode. Got some gifting goodies for the gearhead in your day (a little late, we know...) - tap in while Hostus Maximus Justin Fort and The Walkin' Dude get together in BFE for a night in the garage and a list of ideas for your last minute shopping. Most of these are pretty easy, too, so you really CAN do it today. Everything from tools (themed upfitting, anyone?), training (welding, driving or wiring?), preparedness (ready for your next disappearing act?), lighting (but not blinding!), gifts made in the U.S.A. (easier than you think!), chemicals (is it empty?), period-correct movies (getting back to your roots...), surveillance (because The Woods!), injectors (because 4Runner...), a disco ball and a Z06. You can even help the Garage Hour out and find Justin and Dan what they want for Christmas. Dig in: trail electronics, Rain-X, ammo, flannel, Sea-Foam, vampire clips, heat shrink, razor wire, good tape, Maglites, Jaime's articulated loader versus 12' of snow in Mammoth, vintage snowplows, Chuck Norris, the X-Files and Fortean logic. Because we promised: Miller Lite, Charles Fort, a JF Summit #4 update, blinding Jaime (as witness in our first-ever upload-only Garage Hour), Rodney Dangerfield, Johnny Carson, the good Baldwins, Dr. Evil versus Space Chick, plus Dick Dale, Link Wray, Slayer, Pulp Fiction, Usual Suspects, and an Excellent Weirdo R.I.P. for Peter Greene.

On this episode we break down the new Epstein files dump and why Bill Clinton comes out looking the worst, from nearly naked hot-tub photos with an unidentified woman to vacation shots with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in the UK, Brunei, Thailand, Morocco and beyond, plus cozy dinners with Mick Jagger and even Michael Jackson while the DOJ hides behind heavy redactions and an incomplete “document dump” that's already being called a violation of the Epstein Transparency Act. We talk about Clinton's team insisting this isn't about him, the aide calling it “his reckoning,” the light touch on Trump in the files, and what this all says about who gets protected. Then we dive into the brutal Nick Reiner case: his schizophrenia diagnosis, new meds that allegedly left him “out of his head,” the explosive fight with Rob Reiner at Conan O'Brien's holiday party where guests wanted to call 911 and Conan shut it down, Rob telling friends he was “petrified” of his own son, and how Nick ends up charged with murdering both parents while preparing a not-guilty plea. From there we hit a slate of stories including the disturbing details around “Pulp Fiction” actor Peter Greene's bloody apartment death, the viral breakdown of how Kevin McCallister's legendary $19.83 “Home Alone” grocery run would cost around $70 in 2025, the ugly MAGA media civil war with Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Ben Shapiro and Nick Fuentes tearing into each other, the internet dragging people for wearing fur-hood parkas wrong, and Pantone's new “Cloud Dancer” Color of the Year that somehow manages to make the whole world sad beige.#BillClinton#EpsteinFiles#NickReinerGet more AoA and become a member to get exclusive access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOfx0OFE-uMTmJXGPpP7elQ/joinGet Erin C's book here: https://amzn.to/3ITDoO7Get Merch here - https://bit.ly/AnthonyMerchSubscribe to the Anthony On Air Podcast here:Facebook - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirFBYouTube - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirYTApple Podcast - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirAppleSpotify - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirSpotTwitter - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirTwitterInstagram - https://bit.ly/AntOnAirInstaTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@anthonyonairpodDiscord - https://discord.gg/78V469aV22Get more at https://www.AnthonyOnAir.com.
PETER GREENE - THE PASSING OF A TITAN
It's that time of year again—when we gather by the fire, sip something warm, and queue up… movies that *technically* take place at Christmas. This week, we're unwrapping two not-quite-but-definitely-set-during-the-holidays classics: Stanley Kubrick's eerie yuletide odyssey Eyes Wide Shut (1999) and Steven Spielberg's breezy cat-and-mouse charmer Catch Me If You Can (2002). While neither film is exactly “festive,” both use the holiday season to cast their stories in a glow equal parts melancholic and mischievous. Before diving into our gift-wrap-adjacent double feature, our Blue Plate Special is packed with plenty of cinematic goodies waiting under the tree. We break down the eyebrow-raising possibility of Warner Bros. being sold to either Netflix or Paramount/Skydance—and what such a shake-up could mean for the future of the film industry. We also share our thoughts on several recent releases we've caught (Sentimental Value, The History of Sound, Jay Kelly, and Pavements), react to Quentin Tarantino's recent comments about Paul Dano and 21st-century cinema, relive our theatrical experience seeing Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, and pay tribute to the recent losses of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Jim Ward, Jeff Garcia, Peter Greene, and the legendary Rob Reiner. As always, please like, subscribe, rate, and review us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and wherever else you listen! Got thoughts or questions? Email us at huffmanbrothersproductions@gmail.com.

Part 1:We talk with Mark Joseph Stern, from Slate.comWe discuss the Laken Riley Bill, an anti-immigration bill that has a huge impact on how immigrants will be treated. It provides for indefinite detention and deportation for people who may be legally in the country, for no reason than that someone has accused them of some illegal action. Its applies to minors. It allows local police and local judges to make decisions that should be made on a national level. It can bring about travel bans against whole countries because of suspicions about one individual who may be departed back to his/her home country, despite that country not accepting that.Part 2:We talk with Peter Greene, who writes for Forbes. We discuss how religion has been taken over by the state. This is true in Louisiana, where religious statements are mandated by the state in public schools. Specifically, the state's version of the ten commandments must be posted in public schools, including pictures of Mike Johnson and Moses, as equivalent authorities. This takeover of religion, and subsuming it into the politics has destroyed the previously observed of the separation of church and state. No other religions besides evangelical christianity is represented. WNHNFM.ORG productionMusic: David Rovics, "Time to Act", for Will Von Sproson

Send us a textKatie and Bridget go to the Coco Bongo Club as they re-watch a very nostalgic movie: The Mask! Come along to Edge City (DON'T WORRY THIS MOVIE IS RATED PG!) where we meet Stanley Ipkiss, a grown man with stable income, a loving dog, and nice housing who is considered a "loser" because he "can't get a date"... Yup, what a loser! When he finds a mask floating in the city's toxic river he puts it on only to then transform into a chaotic cartoon character of a horny man. You thought that was crazy? Don't worry, we've also got the mob in this PG movie! Led by gangster Dorian who's out to rob banks, murder people, and possibly blow up his girlfriend Tina as well as his club (?). When Stanley's shenanigans get him wrapped up in all things felonies, it's up to The Mask (and arguably his dog Milo - who deserves a Dog-Oscar/Doscar) to save the day! Will Stanley be able to avoid jail time and get to make out with Tina? Is he also Cuban Pete, the king of the Rumba Beat!? Where he plays the maracas and goes Chick-Chicky-Boom Chick-Chicky-Boom!?! Released in 1994, it stars Jim Carrey, Cameron Diaz, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, Amy Yasbeck, and Richard Jeni.
SOMEBODY....STOP HIM!!! Of course we're referring to Stanley Ipkiss played by Jim Carrey once he puts on that mask, the titular mask for this Summer '94 blockbuster smash which was based on a graphic novel of the same name. Directed by Chuck Russell (Eraser) this was released amidst a breakout year for Carrey, smack between blockbusters Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Dumb and Dumber. But THIS was the one where he got to stretch a bit....LITERALLY. :) Carrey plays a mild-mannered banker who one night finds a mysterious mask in the dock of the fictious Edge City where he lives. He soon finds out that once he puts on that mask at night, it transform him into a cartoonishly green party animal who can sing, dance, and do impressions with the best of them! Also starring in this comic book adapted comedy is Peter Greene, Peter Riegert, and in her big screen debut Cameron Diaz. It's time to P-A-R-T-Y.....WHY? Because he's GOTTA!!! ;) Host: Geoff GershonEdited By Ella GershonProducer: Marlene GershonSend us a texthttps://livingforthecinema.com/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Living-for-the-Cinema-Podcast-101167838847578Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/livingforthecinema/Letterboxd:https://letterboxd.com/Living4Cinema/

It's Die Hard on a train! Casey Ryback is back and this time he's…well…um…I…um…hey look, forget about all that, because the good news is that Eric Bogosian is in this movie! This week Phil and Liam hitch a ride on a hijacked death train as they scrutinize Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, director Geoff Murphy's 1995 sequel to the original Seagal action classic! While travelling from Denver to LA via train with his estranged niece Sarah (Katherine Heigl), ex-Navy SEAL Casey Ryback (Seagal) finds himself in the middle of a terrorist takeover led by disgruntled computer genius Travis Dane (Eric Bogosian), who plans to use his experimental government satellite weapon to launch a massive attack on the Eastern seaboard! Ok we'll level with you. This movie isn't great, but Eric Bogosian IS…so the boys spend much of this episode discussing the life, work and varied career of this remarkably talented renaissance man, including his stage plays, monologues, TV and film career and even his non-fiction book Operation Nemesis. Eric Bogosian forever! In ‘Anatomy of an Action Movie', the guys break down the film piece by piece, discussing what works, what doesn't and why, as well as how this film compares to its slick and stylish predecessor (directed by friend of the show Andrew Davis). But it's not just a Bogosian love-fest, as there's also plenty of affection here for the film's eclectic supporting cast, that includes the likes of Morris Chestnut, Jonathan Banks, Peter Greene and Everett McGill (as mace-imbibing bad guy Marcus Penn). The guys ride the rail to attend the ‘Die Hard Oscars', before wrapping things up with the ‘Double Jeopardy' trivia quiz, where this week Liam finally turns the tables on Phil and gets his revenge! After all, when it comes to quizzes, chance favors the prepared mind!UNDER SIEGE 2 trailer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LorQZ4TfbTQAt the time of release, UNDER SIEGE 2 is available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video, Apple/iTunes, YouTube, Vudu and all the usual platforms!AMERICAN ENGLISH SOCCER PODCASThttps://www.buzzsprout.com/1652062EYE OF THE DUCK PODCASThttps://eyeoftheduckpod.com/Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/die-hard-on-a-blank/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
In this episode, Peter Greene and Ben Kozinn of Schulte Roth & Zabel review the most prominent legal themes from 2023 and provide some thoughts on what to expect in 2024. In 2023, we saw the regulatory demand placed on consumers of alternative data increase as rapidly as the technology itself, as the SEC continued its scrutiny on the risk of alternative data containing material non-public information and stressed the need for firms to adopt and consistently apply robust due diligence policies and procedures.
