Rare Breeds – Marching To A Different Drum Leadership and brand expert Sunny Bonnell is the bestselling co-author of Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different (with Ashleigh Hansberger, 2019). Sunny and Ashleigh are also the creators of the Rare Breed Leadership Platform, and the hit YouTube show, Rare Breed TV. In this Provocateurs podcast with Thinkers50 co-founder, Des Dearlove, and Geoff Tuff of Deloitte, Sunny outlines seven unconventional traits displayed by ‘rare breeds' – traits that are traditionally seen as vices, such as being rebellious, audacious, emotional, and hot-blooded. However, she explains that if organisations can see these so-called weaknesses as strengths they can create the cultures that allow rare breeds to thrive – and unleash their potential powers for innovation. Sunny and Ashleigh founded their award-winning branding company Motto in 2005 with just $250, after dropping out of college together. Sunny is now the CEO and Chief Visionary of the company. We discussed all of this and more this week on the On Brand podcast. About Sunny Bonnell Sunny Bonnell is no stranger to starting fires. She is a fierce visionary, high-octane keynote speaker, and provocative columnist with Fast Company. Her palpable drive and brazen philosophy have garnered clients like Virgin, Google, Microsoft, Hershey's, and more. Episode Highlights Why so flammable? After reading Sunny's bio, I had to ask about all of the “flammable” references. From dropping out of vet school to flipping the script on women in branding, Sunny has always worked to challenge the status quo. “If you can't find a way, you can make a way.” What does it mean to focus on C-suite branding? You know me. I love a good definition. Sunny's firm Motto works to “solve problems for people on their ascent to being iconic.” “It's an inside/out job,” Sunny says of branding today noting the “lack of education in the marketplace” around brand strategy best practices. “A lot of people are forgetting about the why, who, and what.” What brand has made Sunny smile recently? As you can see from her headshot above, Sunny loves hats. Specifically fedoras. Where does a fedora fan go for the finest hats? Goorin Brothers, of course. This iconic brand has a story that traces back to 1885. To learn more, check out Sunny's book Rare Breed and the Motto website. Whether you're building your career or a business of your own, you have a big advantage: Nobody ever sees the rebel coming. The established players in any industry are always fat, sluggish, and content. You're defiant, swift, and hungry. Because your ideas are daring (and probably defiant), you'll blindside the competition. By the time they catch on, you've picked their pockets, stolen their best customers, and won the admiring press. As a rebel, you will meet resistance, but you look forward to it. Rebellion is an act of war. The established order always counterpunches and usually wears brass knuckles. Rare Breeds don't get what they want by adapting to the conventional rules: instead, they use the traits often considered shortcomings as tools for creation and growth. Combining examples and practical tools, our guest identifies seven vices-turned-virtues—Rebellious, Audacious, Obsessed, Hot-Blooded, Weird, Hypnotic, Emotional—to help disruptors and trailblazers discover their inner Rare Breed and tap into them to realize their full potential in work and life. We welcome the author of Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different, Sunny Bonnell More about Sunny: https://rarebreedleaders.com

Show Notes: Sunny Bonnell is the co-author of Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different. She's here to break down what being a Rare Breed really means and why companies should look out for them. Many of us feel different from the norm in one way or another but we learn to suppress those parts of ourselves that don't fit in. That's rarely the right move because it's these differences that give us an edge over everybody else – and businesses are starting to take note of it. Question Highlights: What brought the book about? Can you define “rebellious” for us? How do you know when you go too far as an audacious person? How can businesses better integrate rare breeds into their way of working? Guest Bio: Sunny Bonnell is the co-author of the groundbreaking business book Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different, as well as co-creator of Rare Breed, the popular YouTube series, and co-founder of the game-changing leadership and brand consultancy, Motto. About the book Throughout our decade of aligning leaders, we witnessed an alarming lack of acceptance for unique people and “crazy” ideas that don't fit the mold. We responded with our book Rare Breed to tear up the rule book and succeed on your own terms. Readers will learn how to resist constant pressure to conform, plus: How being rebellious has the power to move mountains — if you know what you're rebelling against. How being audacious makes you a visionary — unless it spirals into reckless hubris. How being obsessed creates detailed masterpieces — or dooms you to failure. How being hot-blooded brings fiery ideas to the table — but can also lead to burnout and destruction. Plus, how to be weird, hypnotic, and emotional for maximum impact…and so much more. Source: www.wearemotto.com About the authors Sunny Bonnell and Ashleigh Hansberger are the authors and founders of Rare Breed — a new kind of leadership thinking which takes up arms against conformity and dismantles business-as-usual. Described as “iconoclastic thinkers,” Sunny and Ashleigh dropped out of college to start Motto and not play by the rules. They've worked with innovative organizations like Google, Microsoft, and Twentieth Century Fox to build brands and bring Rare Breed thinking to drive change. They've been featured in Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, The Breakfast Club, and have graced such lists as Inc. 30 Under 30 and GDUSA's Top 25 People to Watch. Source: www.wearemotto.com Big idea #1 — The traits of a rare breed The book is based around the traits of rare breeds. The people that make things happen, change the course of progress, make a stand and create a difference either to their industry or to the wider world. This is based on the idea that things that make us different, the things that other people consider to be weaknesses or vices, can in fact, be the sources of our greatest strengths. The traits are the virtues, as they call them in the book, are rebellious audacious obsessed hot blooded weird hypnotic, and emotional All of these put together can create change, amazing inventions and innovations, and creations that make a difference in the world. For each of the virtues, there are some kind characteristics that make them up. Rebellion includes things like violating etiquette or righting a great wrong, rebelling against the status quo and societal norms. Being audacious is doing what can't be done, or at least what others have said can't be done. You might need to kill your darlings / drive the horses into the sea to achieve these unachievable things, and have a bit of an unusual dream, which others maybe have discounted or thought of as impossible. Obsession is what drives you to put the work in; finding your 4:00 AM time to get up and work. Trying and trying and trying again, and in many ways, falling in love with the extreme grit required for the process of creating something truly great and truly different. Being hot blooded involves saying yes to things that are big and scary and chasing down the passion that it is necessary for you to do what you do. There's also a concept in this section of pouring hot sauce on your brain, or igniting something in you to get things moving. I loved the section on being weird. It's choosing the things that make you you, maybe the things that people bullied you for in the past, and turning those quirks into your marketing plan or your message. Being hypnotic is being able to influence others and bring them on board. Creating that magic that people need to see to buy into your idea, particularly if you're doing something a bit out there and a bit different. Finally, being emotional, which is all about using your feelings and harnessing those in a productive way to care. Big idea #2 — Beware of the dark side Whilst the seven virtues can be incredibly productive, they can help you get things done and create something amazing, but they can also be dangerously destructive. And there is a line where it often will tip from one to the other. The same the thing that helps you create something could also be the thing that burns it down, burns your relationships and burns you out. Here's the dark sides of each virtue; Rebellion — rebelling for the sake of malice, or in service of yourself, not others. (eg Robin Hood was a good rebel — he fought the system to give to the poor, not to line his own pockets). Audacity — ignoring the reality of your own limits, or the reality of the world, and being reckless. Obsession — can lead to extreme overwork and stress. It can also terrify others with your unrealistic expectations. Hot blooded — rage or flying off the handle for no good reason, and in a really unproductive way, that becomes dangerous for yourself and those around you. Using this as an excuse for inexcusable behaviour. Weird — doing it for the sake of being weird, and alienating yourself from others in the meantime. This will likely muddy your message, rather than actually making it clearer, or attract others. Hypnotic — manipulating for your own ends, and using the influence you can have over others for negative reasons. Emotional — not being able to regulate those emotions, resulting in high levels of heartbreak, being thin-skinned, and maybe naive in the process. Big idea #3 — The virtues alone won't do it If you're reading this and you're taking these boxes, you might be feeling great. However, possessing the virtues alone is useless if they're laying dormant. If you're not putting them to good use and channeling them into something useful (or worse, using them destructively) then you might as well not have them. You might also fall into the trap of thinking you need to be loud, expressive and extroverted to use these virtues, and do something amazing. However, that's not true. There's plenty of examples in the book who have people who have quietly used those virtues to make a huge impact. People like Rosa Parks, who had a huge impact in the civil rights movement, by not getting up from her seat on a bus, and leveraging all of these virtues in the process, to create real change. So the virtues alone won't do it. Go and be exceptional.“Ultimately there's more to being exceptional than wanting to be.” Let's connect LinkedIn Instagram See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Today my guest is Sunny Bonnell. Sunny is the co-author of a book called Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different which has been called "a brazen rant" by Seth Godin. This is an unconventional business book that explores seven so-called "vices" that society deems as counterintuitive to your success and reframes them as virtues. This is a new kind of leadership thinking which challenges conformity and dismantles business-as-usual thinking. I'm excited to have Sunny on the show to talk about this interesting topic. Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day for December 13, 2020 is: flout FLOUT verb 1 : to treat with contemptuous disregard : scorn 2 : to indulge in scornful behavior Examples: "Research shows that people who intentionally flout convention and stand out are perceived as more competent ... than people who conform." — Sunny Bonnell, quoted in The Investor's Business Daily, 6 Mar. 2020 "Onondaga County inspectors will head out this weekend to check on mask-wearing in bars and restaurants, and they will be quick to hand out fines if they find establishments flouting the rules, County Executive Ryan McMahon said today." — Tim Knauss, Syracuse.com, 29 Oct. 2020 Did you know? If you flout a rule or societal norm, you ignore it without hiding what you're doing, or showing fear or shame. The similar-sounding word flaunt is sometimes used in the same way, though that word's older and more common meaning is "to display ostentatiously." Critics have been complaining about the confusion of these two words since the early 1900s, but use of flaunt with the meaning "to treat with contemptuous disregard" is found in even polished, edited writing, and so that meaning is included in our and other dictionaries as an established use of the word. Nonetheless, you may want to avoid it: there are still many who judge harshly those who fail to keep these two words distinct.

On the podcast today: Sunny Bonnell, co-founder of Motto, one of the leading branding agencies in the country, with clients like Google, Hershey's, and Twentieth Century Fox. Sunny and her co-founder, Ashleigh Hansberger, recently wrote their first book, Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different. Sunny says the book started with a question: "What if you could take the parts of yourself that other people criticize—traits they call defiant, dangerous, and different—and turn those things into your selling points?" We talked about how Sunny and Ashleigh arrived at the seven "virtues" in Rare Breed: Rebellious Audacious Obsessed Hot-blooded Weird Hypnotic Emotional If you're curious which virtue applies to you, try the Rare Breed quiz. Sunny and Ashleigh also host a YouTube series, also called Rare Breed, where they sit down with guests like Charlamagne Tha God and Jon Batiste. I asked Sunny about Motto's origin story, the challenges of being one of very few female-owned agencies, the importance of diversity, and more. Toward the end of the conversation, Sunny recommended a few books: It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want to Be and Whatever You Think, Think the Opposite, both by Paul Ardern, as well as The Hero and the Outlaw, by Margaret Mark and Carol Pearson. We ended with some of Sunny's motivating advice for anyone trying to grow their career: "Own who you are. In a world that wants to own you, owning yourself in this way can really hurt like hell. Being defiant, dangerous, and different is a gift. Succeed because of who you are, not despite who you are." To learn more about Sunny, check out her agency's work at wearemotto.com. Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are a duo of comic moms who bring the hilarious about the real s**t that moms worry about: Spanx, trying on bathing suits, sagging boobs, lying to your kids, post-childbirth lady parts that resemble “a basset hound with its head out the window, just flapping in the wind,” and of course, wine. An unconventional business book for the rebels and misfits--the Rare Breeds--who don't fit the traditional mold, offering an approach that's anything but business as usual. What if your biggest weaknesses are actually your greatest strengths? Sunny Bonnell and Ashleigh Hansberger, award-winning brand consultants and founders of Motto, bring their wisdom and insights to this radical "outside the box" business guide written specifically for the mavericks, oddballs, and visionaries they call Rare Breeds. While most advice guides encourage you to change your inherent characteristics to get the job, get the promotion, get the client, Bonnell and Hansberger identify a different approach: instead of trying to conform, march to the beat of your own drum. By following your own path, you'll find your success. They know this approach works based on their own experience. When these iconoclastic thinkers behind the company acclaimed by the Chicago Tribune and Forbes started their company, they didn't follow the rules of most leadership books and business school courses. "Instead of doing everything people told us we should be doing--be transactional, be conservative, be nice--we did the opposite. Instead of burying our innate vices--obsessive perfectionism, rebelliousness, weirdness--we made them our selling points." The result: a flourishing company that is the model for an entirely new approach to success. Rare Breeds don't get what they want by adapting to the conventional rules: instead, they use the traits often considered shortcomings as tools for creation and growth. Combining examples and practical tools, Bonnell and Hansberger identify seven vices-turned-virtues--Rebellious, Audacious, Obsessed, Hot-Blooded, Weird, Hypnotic, Emotional--to help disruptors and trailblazers discover their inner Rare Breed and tap into them to realize their full potential in work and life. Sunny Bonnell and Ashleigh Hansberger are the award-winning founders of Motto, one of the top branding and digital agencies for rule breakers and game changers. They’ve been featured on CBS News and Fox Business and in Entrepreneur, American Express, Chicago Tribune, Forbes, Inc., Huffington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and elsewhere.
The Creative Warrior community is made up of misfits; we're people who think differently than our peers and often feel like outsiders looking in. It's common to want to change the traits that make us different, but it's precisely those special qualities that will make us the most successful in business and life. So how can we learn to embrace our imperfections? There is no step-by-step guide to success. In fact, following a guru or guidebook can stifle the gifts that we have to offer the world. To uncover your unique traits, you're going to have to think outside the box. Look at the things that other people consider weaknesses, and see if they're the things that set you apart. To dive deeper into figuring out your “Rare Breed,” I've brought on author and brand expert Sunny Bonnell. Sonny was named GDUSA “Top 25 People to Watch” and is an Inc. columnist. She's also the co-founder of Motto, one of the top branding and digital agencies in the country that works with disruptors and innovators to build the next generation of brands. To learn about the seven vices-turned-virtues, download this episode now. THE WARRIOR OF COURAGE “Either ‘no' becomes the answer, or ‘no' becomes the challenge.” - Sunny Bonnell Highlights - Remember the fire in your belly. Be a “rare breed.” How do you make your vices a virtue? 7 Rare Breed Traits: rebellious, audacious, obsessed, hot-blooded weird, hypnotic, and emotional. The reason you're hired is often the reason that you're fired. You can own your “rare breed” traits in a quietly rebellious way. There are four questions to ask yourself: The first is, “What am I rebelling against?” It's important to have a cause. “What needs to change?” You often have to be broke before you start feeling the need to make funny. “What do I have that no one else has?” Take the first step towards owning your voice and hearing your voice. “What's the worst that can happen?” You would rather spend a life that you fought for something. Sunny Bonnell and Ashleigh Hansberger are the co-founders of Motto, a branding agency for disruptors, game-changers and rare breeds. For over a decade, the dynamic pair teaches leaders how to stand out, think different, and lead bold brands. “stop comparing your success to other people's success. I think that's one of the hardest things to do as entrepreneurs is wanting to be further along than where we are and kind of having the impatience or the frustration of kind of watching other people succeed and not being happy for them. I think it's really important to support other people's success but I also think that we need to stop comparing where we are with where somebody else is. Everyone gets shown the sizzle reel and being an entrepreneur is not glamorous, it really isn't. It's the physical, mental, emotional courage that it takes is a lot. So I think the best advice is just you are good, you will get through it, keep going, don't put so much pressure on you”…[Listen for More] Click Here for Show Notes To Listen or to Get the Show Notes go to https://wp.me/p6Tf4b-77R

Courtney Cogburn: Virtual Reality to Improve Race Relations (Ep. 132) Columbia University School of Social Work Professor Courtney Cogburn joined Joe Miller to discuss her work with virtual reality to improve race relations. Bio Courtney Cogburn (@CourtneyCogburn) is an assistant professor at the Columbia School of Social Work and a Faculty Affiliate of the Columbia Population Research Center. Her research integrates principles and methodologies across psychology, stress physiology and social epidemiology to investigate relationships between racism-related stress and racial health disparities across the life course. Her work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Her current research projects examine: the effects of cultural racism in the media on physiological, psychological and behavioral stress reactivity and moderating effects of cognitive appraisal processes; the role of structural racism in producing disease risk; and chronic psychosocial stress exposure and related implications for understanding Black/White disparities in cardiovascular health and disease between early and late adulthood. At the end of 2014, Dr. Cogburn received an award from the Provost’s Grants Program for Junior Faculty Who Contribute to the Diversity Goals of the University for a project titled “Black Face to Ferguson: A Mixed Methodological Examination of Media Racism, Media Activism and Health.” In addition to her academic research, Dr. Cogburn works with the Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and is a senior advisor at the International Center Advocates Against Discrimination in NYC to educate and build community activism around issues of racism and health. Before coming to Columbia in July 2014, Dr. Cogburn was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholar at the Harvard School of Public Health. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia, MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and PhD in the Combined Program in Education and Psychology from the University of Michigan. The company announced that it will now fact-check political photos and videos, allow you to see the personal data they have on you, and limit the sharing of your personal information with data brokers. Meanwhile, on the legal front, Missouri’s Republican Attorney General has opened an investigation into Facebook’s data collection practices. Attorney General Josh Hawley wants to know about every instance in which Facebook shared user data with political entities, the rates they paid and whether users were notified. In addition, Facebook will not provide evidence or testify before a U.K. parliamentary committee investigating Facebook’s use of user data. However, he will testify before Congress, and Sunny Bonnell reports in Inc. that it could happen as soon as April 10th. In addition, housing groups are suing Facebook for allowing real estate advertisers to discriminate against mothers, the disabled and minorities, according to Jordan Pearson in Motherboard. And Ali Breland reported on a memo leaked from 2016 written by Facebook executive Andrew Bosworth suggesting the company’s expansion is justified even if it costs lives from bullying or a terrorist attack. Sinclair, which is in the process of buying Tribune Media, has anchors read same script Sinclair Broadcasting, the little-known media company that’s in the process of buying Tribune Media for $3.9 billion, has been accused of being a mouthpiece for conservative viewpoints. Republican FCC Chairman Ajit Pai has been seen by many to have paved the way for Sinclair by relaxing longstanding media ownership rules. Now, Deadspin has put together a video showing dozens of anchors on tv stations owned by Sinclair reciting the exact same script making the same claims about fake news that the Trump administration has been making. Sinclair now reaches 2 out of every 5 American homes, with 193 stations concentrated in midsize markets. The merger with Tribune Media would bring that number up to 236, including stations in New York City and Chicago, if Sinclair doesn’t divest some of the stations. Emily Stewart reports in Vox. In a Tweet, President Trump defended Sinclair. Saks/Lord & Taylor hacked Vindu Goel and Rachel Abrams report for the New York Times that a well-known band of cybercriminals hacked the credit and debit card numbers of some 5 million Saks and Lord & Taylor customers. The parent company of the two department stores, Hudson’s Bay Company, said in a statement that the company has identified the issue, is taking steps to contain it, and will keep the public informed. Trump attacks Amazon Trump attacked Amazon on twitter last week, saying the company should be regulated, which led to a dip in the company’s stock prices. But policy experts say that antitrust action against Amazon is a long shot. Laura Stevens reports in the Wall Street Journal. City of Atlanta hit by cyberattack Eight thousand employees of the City of Atlanta had to shut down their computers last week. The reason? A ransomware attack. The attackers demanded $51,000 to unscramble government processes usually handled online. While the attack did not affect major systems like wastewater treatment and 911 calls, police officers had to write tickets by hand, none of Atlanta’s 6 million residents could apply for city jobs, and the courts could not validate warrants. Nicole Perlroth and Aland Blinder report in the New York Times. FCC greenlights SpaceX’s satellite internet service The FCC has given the green light to SpaceX’s satellite broadband internet service. The company aims to deploy thousands of small satellites to reach underserved areas, such as rural communities, at fiber-like speeds. Samanta Masunaga reports in the LA Times. Tumblr cancels 84 accounts tied to Russia Morgan Chalfant reports in the Hill that Tumblr took down 84 accounts linked to the Internet Research Agency, the Russian troll farm at the center of a federal investigation into the Russian propaganda campaign that swayed the 2016 presidential election. Last month DOJ Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 13 Russians and 3 Russian entities connected to the Internet Research Agency. Trump administration to look at social media accounts for visas The Trump administration announced that it is planning to review the social media accounts of people applying for visas to enter the U.S. People entering the U.S. from countries with visa-free status, like the UK, Canada, France, and Germany, won’t be subjected to the additional vetting. But individuals seeking entry visas into the U.S. from countries like India, China and Mexico would need to turn over their social media information. The BBC has the story. But Joe Uchill and Stef W. Kight reported for Axios that ICE already uses Facebook data – not to track immigrants, though, but to track child predators. D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to hear challenges to the FCC’s net neutrality order Finally, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals will now hear the consolidated appeals of the FCC’s December order to repeal the 2015 net neutrality rules. The Ninth Circuit had won the lottery to hear the case, but Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals granted a request to move the cases to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which heard the appeals of both the 2011 rules and the 2015 rules, which it had upheld. John Eggerton reports in Broadcasting and Cable.

The BRAND New You Show - A Personal Branding and Digital Branding podcast
Sunny Bonnell | Motto | Branding Show Notes: HERE Today I welcome to the show Sunny Bonnell the co-founder of Motto. Motto, is a comprehensive branding and design firm that helps visionary entrepreneurs and companies build magnetic brands. At Motto, Sunny is a visionary thinker and branding expert who also serves as the creative director in addition to her co-founder duties. Sunny was named one of Graphic Design - USA's “25 Creatives to Watch in 2014” and has been featured on MSN Business, CBS News, American Express, and various print and online design publications. She thrives on inspiring others to pursue their passions and pushes both herself and her clients to reach beyond their threshold to achieve success. Please welcome Sunny to the brand new you show. PERSONAL BRANDS AND BRANDING At Motto, Sunny views branding as something much bigger than a design. It's really the deliberate effort you make to tell the world this is who I am. Branding is the process of defining shaping and influencing both visually and verbally the story, the emotion and the meaning you want your audience to experience. Where Sunny sees her clients struggle the most is internally with the foundational "things" required to build a brand such as; defining their meaning, purpose, vision, values in a way that makes it easier to articulate them to the world. Comparing this to personal branding, I see and wrestle with many of the same things. Most people I speak with about personal branding don't even take these internal things into consideration when building their brand. Everyone wants to jump right into the more “sexy” stuff like building a website or designing a logo but without the focus that comes from this internal assessment even the most excited of my clients will fade away once the going gets tough. The branding process needs to begin with the purpose, vision, values and positioning of your brand before anything else. These are the foundations brand building. Start with understanding the competition, your audience in order to help create a positioning statement or USP. This is how you achieve a well-defined and emotionally connecting brand. Starting here will help you find the one meaningful idea at the center of your brand. ARCHETYPES FOR BRANDS This is the second time on the podcast we have discussed the use of archetypes for branding. The first time was with personal branding specialist Danielle Miller. You may recall from our discussion that I align with the Creator archetype. In literature, an archetype is a character or a situation that represents universal patterns of human nature. An archetype, can be a symbol, a character, a theme, or even a setting. Carl Jung, Swiss psychologist, suggested the root of an archetype is in the “collective unconscious” of mankind in which the phrase “collective unconscious” refers to experiences shared by a race or culture. These experiences could include love, religion, death, birth, life, struggle, survival etc. They exist in the subconscious of every individual. If used properly Sunny suggests archetypes can provide a clear pathway to meaning for a brand by adding a dimension of personification to a brand which can help define a brand personality. By borrowing specific character types, archetypes can be used as powerful positioning tool that can help people, employees, customers or others identify with a brand. There are a number of online tests you can take point you in a direction but Sunny suggests you really need someone who understands archetypes to help fully benefit from their purpose. Danielle offered a quiz on her site. You can take the quiz HERE. In all there are 12 fundamental archetypes as shown above. As an individual it's possible for you to have some characteristics of a couple different archetypes. Take me for example I identify with the Creator and Hero archetypes. If you are interested in learning more about archetypes Sunny recommended a book by Dr. Carol Pearson called “The Hero and the Outlaw" (Affiliate Link). SUMMARY You can get in touch with Sunny and learn more about Motto at these links. Web: wearemotto.com Sunny leaves us with these final thoughts “Be loyal to the nightmare of your choice. Whatever you're doing you have to be loyal to it. Do whatever it takes to continue pushing yourself to grow, evolve and make things better.”
