With honesty and humility, Hale opens up about what it truly means to win, to persevere, and to walk away on your own terms. We also explore Irwin's deep commitment to philanthropy, including the creation of the Hale Irwin wing at St. Louis Children's Hospital and his recent honor as the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Honorary Chair at The Broadmoor. Hale discusses his second career in golf course design and the joy of building courses that bring people back for another round. In our final three questions, Hale reveals the one “Mulligan” he might take—not on the course, but in life—and how he hopes to be remembered: not just as a champion golfer, but as a friend, a mentor, and a man who always tried to do what was right. This final episode is a heartfelt and fitting end to an extraordinary life story, told in the voice of a man who lived it with integrity, grace, and grit. It's week two of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and Andy and Brendan are ready for Denver! This episode starts with a celebration of fall temperatures in August before some back and forth about where folks in town for the DNC are playing golf in the Chicago area. After the debut of "Lobbyist Minute" concludes, the two discuss the not-so-great TV ratings from last week's playoff event at TPC Southwind and wonder why the PGA Tour's "most consequential" tournament happens in Memphis in the heat of August. The conversation then turns to the latest PGA Tour rules proposal, a reduction in full-field sizes and full-exempt status in an effort to complete cuts on Fridays, while also increasing signature event fields. This then leads Andy and Brendan into a preview of this week's BMW Championship at Castle Pines, where players will have to tackle the elevation in Colorado. Next, they preview the Event of the Year, the AIG Women's Open at St. Andrews, discussing the top storylines and which players to watch during coffee golf. The Schedule of the Week discussion wraps up with a look at this week's Danish DP World Tour event, the Ally Challenge on the Senior Tour, and the APGA Cisco Invitational. To finish things up, Andy and Brendan debate how much beer is considered a "year's supply" and share stories of over-purchasing for crowds at home.

The major champion who didn't learn the game until age 22, Larry Nelson looks back on his trips over the pond for the Open Championship before taking us back into the transformative years of the Ryder Cup. His first was in 1979, the year the GB&I squad added continental European players for the first time including Seve Ballesteros and Sandy Lyle. Larry and his partner Lanny Wadkins took down Seve three times in team play and then prevailed against Seve in singles going 4-0. He went 5-0 in the 1981 Ryder Cup joining what might have been the greatest U.S. side ever assembled. Finally, Larry recounts the 1987 matches where the U.S. lost for the first time on its soil at Muirfield Village under Captain Jack Nicklaus. It was clear the Ryder Cup momentum was shifting. Listen in as Larry shares his experiences on the Senior Tour where he won 19 times in a span of six years. Larry Nelson, proud veteran and champion golfer, concludes his life story. Pete Robbins returns to BTL to talk about a number of topics.
Why is the age 50 considered to be a rookie in golf? When Craig started thinking about The Champions Tour and the steps to get his game ready to compete at the professional level. He won the qualifier at Edgewater CC in Portland shooting 65. The reason why he went there to qualify for The US Senior Open. His thoughts on the course the open was played, which was Sentry World in Stevens Point, WI. Did the course change throughout the week? What his day was like with an afternoon tee time on Day 1? Was the quick turnaround from a late tee time Thursday to an early one on Friday an issue? Challenge to play smart vs trying too hard….After making the cut, did he feel more relaxed on Saturday? He birdied 2 of the last 3 holes on Saturday, did he find something as he carded -5 on Sunday. Did Craig notice he was appreciating things more, the support from the Vegas community, and will we see him more on The Champions Tour? Randy Wakeman has been around for many decades and was often seen lecturing and performing at magic conventions. Nonetheless, I have always seen him as an “underground” magician who appeals to the true sleight-of-hand experts. He is one of those guys who has “been there, done that, has the t-shirt” as he was one of the regular performers about the Chicago Bar Magic Scene before the turn of the last century. He has written several books on magic (card magic mostly) and is still relevant in our community as a performer, teacher and author. View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize While at the recent Senior Tour close-up convention in St. Louis, The Magic Word spoke with Randy as part of the convention report content. He was preparing for a workshop, so we didn't get a chance to go in-depth as I had wanted. But we agreed to get together at the 4F convention in Buffalo a couple months later. True to his word, we sat down to complete our chat which results in this episode. The content of our chat in both places was a little disjunctive, so the editing required us to put the second conversation first then plug in the chat in St. Louis and finish with our talk while in Buffalo. This sounds more confusing that it actually is, but I know you will understand and enjoy our chat. Download this podcast in an MP3 file by Clicking Here and then right click to save the file. It's major championship-eve and Andy and Brendan are ready for Oak Hill but first they need to discuss a likely best-case scenario for the non-designated Nelson in Jason Day ending a winless drought on Mother's Day. They laud the TPC Summerlin model for getting the winning score in at 23-under. They pan CBS for the coverage at the conclusion. With LIV Tulsa, they praise the industrious Stingers and discuss many CW affiliates taking the golf off their station with about 90 minutes to go and a great leaderboard. The Senior Tour major is a reason to talk about arguably the most offensive backboard situation in all of pro golf, with a little Stricker dominance mixed in. The event that got perhaps the best finish of weekend was the LPGA's Founders Cup with a playoff between two of the best on tour from the past couple years. There's also a shoutout for the Swedish winner on the Euro Tour.

This Friday episode begins with some tales of Andy's travels behind enemy lines at the end of this week. Then it's on to the one result we already have in the bank, Akshay Bhatia's victory on the KFT. Brendan and Andy discuss Bhatia's path, why it made sense, and how we could see much more of it coming down the pike. On the DP World Tour, they praise the windy conditions and wild humps and bumps of the YASSSSS links. The AmEx discussion gets into Patrick Cantlay, and whether he's at the level where only work at the majors is what's left when it comes to amplifying his status in the game. The Senior Tour chatter ponders the “clean living spectrum” and why there's ROY award. They close with multiple Precision Pro Flashback Fridays, first on the origin story of the Bob Hope Classic, and second, on the catnip of Casey Martin's first PGA Tour event as a member.
On this week's episode, Dr. Z goes in depth with Robert Karlsson about the Ryder Cup and some of Europe's most up and coming stars! We talk grasses, the Senior Tour, and how it compares to the European Tour. We have a new addition this week with some trivia questions as well. Robert even gets stumped! We finish with a lesson in Swedish idioms and, of course, our usual Shout-Outs. Enjoy this wonderful edition of Pickin'N'Puttin'-Z

The fellas take a brief look at how hard it ACTUALLY is to make the Senior Tour if you aren't an established PGA Tour vet. They also look at two guys who are crashing the party.
Charlie Sifford was the first black to play on the PGA tour in 1961. I had the pleasure of speaking with Russ Crockett, a close friend of Mr. Sifford for 20 years and part of the group putting on the "2022 Charlie Sifford Centennial Celebration". Russ breaks down all of the details about the celebration and he shares some fantastic personal stories, about his time with Mr. Sifford. ABOUT CHARLIE SIFFORD:Winner of six Negro National Open titles. Honored as one of the top 100 people in the first Century of Golf. This delayed Monday episode is full of life, extracting every ounce out of a global golf weekend on multiple tours. But first, there are ample details and discussion on an attempted garage sale at Andy's house over the weekend. What kind of people show up? Were golf items of note parted with to some uncaring new owner? Then it's on to the Zozo Championship, where Hideki Matsuyama won in front of his home fans. They discuss the import of that, the extravagant framing of it, the lack of buzz in the U.S. around the event, and why this should be a must-play primetime event on the schedule for the top players. Jin Young Ko's brilliance is then highlighted, including a discussion on an impactful quote from her about her mental health struggles early this year. Bernhard Langer's incredible achievement on the Senior Tour is appreciated, but not without multiple shots at the Tour in general, as well as Phil's grumpiness at the tournament. The Euro Tour's winner prompts a confession about the functional “utility of kids” after his kid got him unlocked from the bathroom in time to make his tee time. The laughable report about Greg Norman becoming head of the Saudi League is discussed, before a lengthy final segment on Q school players advancing.
Bruce Devlin looks back on his work after the PGA Tour which included a brief stint on the Senior Tour. He caught the course design bug beginning in the late 1960's and that, along with his pioneering days as a golf broadcaster, took him away from competition well before his elite golfing skills waned. Bruce recalls his extensive body of work designing nearly 150 courses across the globe and tells of his family's philanthropic work through The Devlin Foundation. Bruce Devlin reflects on a life and a career in golf well played, "FORE the Good of the Game."
This Wednesday episode begins with the event of the week, the Women's Open at Carnoustie. Andy and Brendan highlight some of the key tee times and discuss the course setup options that should test the best women's players in the world. Then they're on to Liberty National, stumbling through the top 125 players and wondering how the hell some of them got to the postseason given their profiles. The Euro Tour event has a distinct silver medal vibe. The Senior Tour event is really only cause to mention the one time Brendan said something on air that got the Tour to call into Golf Channel. And last but not least is the start of the KFT finals, where the usual mix of familiar names have come down to play for improved status next year on the Tour. The Journeyman of the Week is a Kiwi who did not make the FEC, or the KFT, and will be out there in the woods wandering to try and make his way back.
On this episode of Beyond The Course I am joined by Mark Johnson, professional golf caddie. This Friday episode begins with the building anticipation for a lifelong dream realized, Rory Sabbatini representing Slovakia in the Olympics. Andy and Brendan then transition to early action from across the world of golf, with some inside intel on how Evian became a major as well as the compelling Yealimi Noh background. On the Senior Tour, they praise the early scenes from Sunningdale. Rickie leading the 3M is cause to tell an amusing story of investigative reporting from one listener who was propositioned about sponsoring a tour player. Different rates for different items and corporate appearances are bandied about, with an amusing conclusion on how the agency figured out that maybe this company wasn't interested in sponsoring anyone at all. Our Swedish correspondent relays some interesting background on Vincent Norrman, the leader on the Euro Tour, and our Sandwich correspondent delivers a Flashback Friday tale to last week on perhaps the most dramatic moment Collin Morikawa faced at The Open, at least off the course.

This Wednesday episode begins with an unplanned discussion on the U.S. Open's identity. Has some of the luster of the championship been taken away with the PGA coming right in front of it now? And is Jason Gore more or less helping set up controversy-free courses that have taken some of the sizzle out of it? Then Andy and Brendan move to the event of the week, the Women's PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, another Rees Jones renovation. There are three things to watch, revolving around the American drought and Olympics qualifying closing. For the Travelers, they delight in some “notables” categories in a field that's completely loaded for the week after a major. To both of their surprise, there is a major on the Senior Tour this week, and it is perhaps the most extreme pushing of the boundaries on that term, “major.” They ponder whether having a KFT event in Maine will make people want to live and/or work in Maine, as the title suggests. News hits on the run of Olympics withdrawals on the men's side as well as some intel from the ground on the Stella case of beer. Lastly, they are joined by Cam Smith for a rare guest interview from the Travelers.
Episode 17 of the Island Green is here and it's a doozy! This episode with talk to dual athlete Stephen Anderson - 2-time PEIGA Player of the year, 3-time national U-Sport hockey champion and we let ‘er fly about some hot topics including the state of COVID and golf in PEI, Lens' idiotic (in his opinion) question about breaking 100 at Kiawah, the points system for the PEIGA and more. The boys recap the action with last weeks Anderson Creek Open, Early Bird, Senior Tour and look forward to this weekends Countryview Open as well.
This week we are joined by 2018 Ryder Cup winning captain Thomas Bjorn, who looks back on Le Golf National and discusses life at 50 on the senior tour. The Great Dane opens up on losing his confidence in his late 40s and his new-found love for competing out on tour. Tom and Elliott also round up the weekend's action in Texas and Denmark, and preview the events coming up this week.
In this episode, I talk about two great golf stories over the weekend with Sam Burns winning the Valspar and Canadian Mike Weir ending a 13-year drought and capturing the Insperity Invitational on the Senior Tour, I discuss the disaster that is the Winnipeg Jets and touch on their big issues before pivoting into the battles at the top and bottom of the Central division, plus I dive into the MLB scene including the Blue Jays sweeping the Braves over the weekend.
The week begins with some laughter-induced tears as Andy and Brendan delight in their re-acquaintance with the walking, talking Cologuard box. They naturally begin their results review with the Senior Tour, discussing the water hazards in Tucson, Mike Weir’s wounded putts and HOF credentials, and Kevin Sutherland “hanging in on the backside.” Then they get to the brilliance of Collin Morikawa and how his golf almost made Sunday’s finish at Concession boring. They discuss the venue’s volatility, its catch basin shotmaking challenge, and Billy Horschel’s ample commentary on the conditioning and commendation for the Tour setup crew. They discuss Brooksy’s run of J-Day health troubles. Also addressed are the many Tiger tributes and the discourse around those. Nelly Korda’s work at the Gainbridge is praised but not the tape-delayed broadcast. With the LPGA going to a third Orlando-area course, Andy stumbles into researching the tribute holes at next week’s venue and finds many factual errors.
Brendan and Andy react to the breakthrough win for Jason Kokrak after 10 years and 232 starts on the PGA Tour. Unsurprisingly, there’s a sudden digression into hollering about the subject of no CT testing happening since the Return to Golf. They also discuss the persistent odds integration into the broadcast, some good things they saw at Shadow Creek, and the celebration that may be taking place among the troops at PXG. On the European Tour, Adrian Otaegui is labeled as being in “George Coetzee territory” and there’s ample follow-up on the Home of Golf controversy as well as the fact that they played lift, clean, and place in Scotland. Phil’s “circus act” on the Champions Tour netted him another win in the 50-and-over set, and so they ruminate on what a driver with “extra pop” means for Augusta. Speaking of beating up on the older guys, Omar Uresti has now brought his club pro scheme to the Senior PGA Professional Championship with a dominant six-shot victory. They react in frustration and amusement to this before signing off with some quick news on the Houston Open allowing fans.
Few know Jon Rahm’s gear as well as TaylorMade Tour rep Adrian Rietveld. In a special U.S. Open edition of Fully Equipped, Rietveld goes deep on Rahm’s club specs and recalls the first time he met the Spaniard in person. He also discusses what makes Rahm so “Tiger-like” when it comes to testing fairway woods.

Quitters never win. We need to win the hearts and minds of the American people. Don't quit on democracy. Defeat Donald Trump. America is not Trump's country club. Don't let him cheat to win another club championship where he makes up all the rules and somehow gets others to go along. Former Colorado Speaker of the House of Representatives, Terrance Carroll, returns to Craig's Lawyers' Lounge ready for the fight. @speakercarroll is an attorney, cop, and clergyman. He also was Colorado's first and only black House speaker. We discuss Kenosha, racism, justice and what it was like for Terrance to recently be deployed around Colorado's state Capitol. Excitement and joy fill my broadcast as Colorado's own pro golfing stud, Shane Bertsch, age 50, joins me fresh off his victory on the PGA Champions Tour at the Charles Schwab event in the Ozarks. Shane tells us what it's like to never say die, keep pursuing a dream, and realize victory, fame and fortune in only his second Senior Tour tourney. Wisdom and perspective aplenty from this champion golfer and person. When he was 16 Magnus Persson Altevi became the youngest ever to securere his card on the European Tour. But the much expected win would never come.He came the closest in a event on Mallorca where he faced Severiano Ballesteros in a playoff that had both drama and injustices. The experience would break him the perhaps biggest talent Sweden has ever seen. When he now sits down with Martin, Magnus Persson Atelvi tells us about the journey from then until now, about talent, destiny and about learning from mistakes.Last but not least he also tell us about his new hopes and the quest for revenge.OBS! This episode is in Swedish.
Mr. Nichols shared his story about starting out as a caddy at age 9 and being the personal caddy for Dodgers legend Pee Wee Reese. He recounted his victory in the 1964 PGA Championship over Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Ben Hogan. We also talked about the influence Dr. Cary Middlecoff had on him, his victories at the 1962 St. Petersburg Open, the 1973 Westchester Classic and getting a second life in golf when the Senior Tour started.
The PGA Tour is off this week but the Shotgun Start marches on with a preview episode and a conspiracy theory for why the Tour might be off -- it involves a quid pro quo with a certain brokerage firm. A diversion into a fantastic Daniel Chopra story leads to a discussion and a ranking of the national chain pizza joints. The event of the week will not be televised but Andy runs through some names trying to get through KFT Q school second stage. This is also the week Presidents Cup picks will be made and the two argue for who should be there (NOT Jason Day) and who will be there after Tiger and Ernie add four players to each side. In news, they discuss the Davis Love III-to-CBS announcement from last week, Greg Norman’s unrequited letter writing, and Rory’s attempt to clarify his comments on European Tour courses being too easy.

This Wednesday episode previews the weekend to come in golf and it’s a loaded one with discussion on the Safeway, Dunhill, LPGA inside the Brickyard racetrack, Asia Pacific Amateur, Crump Cup, and the Senior Tour event at Pebble. But first, Andy reckons with a Bears MNF win that may be more concerning than encouraging. For the Safeway, Brendan and Andy finalize their wager on Tony Romo making the cut and take a quick gander through some of the other exemptions, including John Daly and Fred Couples. Over on the Euro Tour, the two have a “high-level” discussion on the new brand slogan “Driving Golf Further” and all the ways you can spend money on inane fluff in this world listening to people with titles that sound important. The Dunhill and Pebble Pro-Am are then compared and the question of which has the better three-course rota is debated. Then Brendan quizzes Andy on some of the celebrity amateurs in the field in Scotland, exposing their American myopia. The unsportsmanlike finish to the Mid-Am is critiqued and then they wrap with some intel on Louis Oosthuizen’s wide offering of alcoholic beverages.
With the PGA Championship and US Open on the horizon, we talk about our upcoming plans for both tournaments as well as some upcoming interviews we have planned. Also, we preview round three of Tiger, Molinari, and Koepka at the PGA, debate whether or not Bethpage really is the best deal in all of golf, and there is a shocking amount of Senior Tour talk.
Baseball Hall-of-Famer John Smoltz discusses his recent celebrity golf win, his upcoming sponsor exemptions on the PGA Tour Champions, and his crazy backyard golf setup. Also, Alex Myers, Sam Weinman, and Keely Levins discuss Dustin Johnson's dominant win in Mexico, the LPGA backstopping controversy, and a new PGA Tour rookie's funny winning press conference.

Mike said that there used to be a Senior Tour event in Philadelphia in the twilight of Palmer's career, and more people showed up to watch Arnie play with one of the early tee times than would show up to watch the leaders. Has had huge events, U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and many. Greg and Holly talk about the way the course's holes are being switched around for the Ryder Cup this year for the fans and the competition. It's not set up the way members play daily nor how it has been set up for Ryder Cups in the past. Holly asks Greg what might be some of the keys and strategies to playing the best golf at Hazeltine. Greg says that it's a big course and you have to be able to get the ball out there. But when you are playing your teammates ball in some of the matches, it might not might make that big of a difference how far you hit it. Will asks Greg about the vibe around the area. Greg said that something surrounding the event now is an article where Danny Willet's brother didn't say nice things about American golf fans. Neither team was happy about the comments. The Euros seem like they seem to play better together. In the final segment of the show, Dr Bob Winters, mental conditioning coach and author of Mistake-Free Golf, calls in to talk about the Ryder Cup and the mental aspects of the tournament. The Europeans have a strong team with six new players and they have no scar tissue from previous Ryder Cup emotional scar tissue ... and they know each other very well. Team USA is a collection of individual egos that comes together once every two years and try to create some cohesive bond. On the other hand Team Europe has a collective ego, and consciousness I call it "Eurogo." Basically wherever one goes the others go too. Dr Bob feels that Team Europe will win. There is a lot more pressure on the USA, even though there are so many things stacked in Team USA's favor that it adds more pressure and we want to win so badly. I think in the end Europe will win and we will look and say, Wow, what do they have that we don't? They have a team ego. Will asks if the team concept that is something that is taught with coaching over time? Dr Bob says that Together Everyone Achieves More - TEAM. The Europeans really like each other and hang out with one another. USA doesn't have that. Dr Bob feels that there are too many American brains involved --- five vice captains is too much over coaching. Check out Dr Bob's website at drbobwinters.com to see how he can help you with your game like he has helped so many pros and average Joes over the years.

Guessing about how hard to hit their irons instead of regulating their backswing length. Total confusion really… but this could be the holy grail when it comes to scoring. What good is being a great putter if you are putting for bogeys constantly or doubles? It’s really important to know how far you hit your clubs, and its even more important to equate your backswing length to distance…What I mean by that is that to score from 100 yards and in you’ll need to be accurate from 20, 30, 40, 50 and so on up to 100 yards if you want more birdie chances and par opportunities… and it’s really not super hard to get that kind of accuracy. If you watch TV and watch the pro’s, the commentators don’t really tell you how much the pro’s actually practice using the methods we’re about to show you.In fact, Ben Hogan is famous for having his caddy stand out at certain yardages with a baseball glove and catch his shots. Now, Rich isn’t advocating that, but he does have something close to it that will help you nail varying distances of shots from 100 yards and in.The DrillFootball field suggestion for more accurate yardages and reduce risk of getting slapped with a ball from a hacker on range. Also, maybe break it down in 20 yard increments instead of 10 yards. The Pressure TestGreat drill but missing pressure testing. Play 9 holes of varying distances… for example, pick 30 yards, 60 yards, and 90 yards as target distances. Play them randomly a total of 9 holes. Keep score. The ChallengeGo out this week and practice a total of 3 times, set a benchmark your first time out using the Pressure Test AFTER you do Rich’s drill. Keep that score and repeat two more times. Your goal is to beat your score by the end of the third practice session. Now, I believe in you, and I know you can break 90, 80, and even 70. One of our students is getting very close to breaking par - Larry Horrie. And I believe you can make the PGA or Senior Tour, and I sure as hell think you can become the club champion. You just need to plan out your baby steps and get to work. And you don’t need to spend hours per day practicing. A few minutes here or there is all you need.Go out and try this drill and pressure test… I am convinced if you put in 30 minutes per session over three practice sessions, you can lower your score immediately and in addition gain a lot more confidence. And I know for a fact you’ll be making more pars and looking at more birdies.Christian Henninghttp://golfaggressive.com

In 1950, Jim Flick was a scratch golfer in his second year at Wake Forest—and not good enough to make a starting team that included Arnold Palmer and Buddy Worsham. Flick's roommate was his best friend, Gene Scheer; Palmer's was Worsham. One evening, after a home football game against Duke, Scheer and Worsham got impatient waiting for Flick and Palmer and drove without them to a dance in Durham.Coming home, their car crashed and both perished. Flick and Palmer, feeling their lives were spared and trying to overcome their grief, decided to room together. Thus, Palmer was one of the first major influences on Flick's career.Flick lettered in basketball and golf, but turned his attention to golf instruction. Although Bill Strausbaugh was an early influence, Bob Toski had a special effect. Toski and Flick developed the Golf Digest Schools from 1972-'90. Flick also spent 20 years as director of instruction at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, where he helped Tom Lehman go from a struggling Hogan Tour player to the 1996 British Open champion. In 1990, Flick worked with Jack Nicklaus at The Tradition tournament. Jack won the event, and Flick has been his coach ever since.Today, Flick is director of instruction at the TaylorMade Learning Center. "I'm more of a motion teacher than a position teacher," he says. "I advocate swinging the arms and club with the body reacting." www.jimflick.comCasey Martin was born in Eugene, Oregon and still resides there. Educated at Stanford University, and briefly a teammate of Tiger Woods, Casey was three times all Pac-10 and also a member of the University's NCAA Championship team in 1994. He won the 1993 Sahalee Players Championship, and after turning professional in 1995 Casey competed in several PGA and Nationwide tour events. While pursuing his professional golf career Casey came to national prominence in the late 90's by suing the PGA of America to allow him permission to use a golf cart while playing. Suffering from birth with a defect in his leg know as Klippel Trenaunay Weber syndrome, Martin feels the daily effect of this rare circulatory disorder that withered his right leg to the point that may eventually force him to face amputation. Although Casey won his lower federal court decision to utilize a cart in competition, many PGA professionals took opposites sides of the decision and the debate still exists as to the extent that "disabilities" should be consisted and accommodated on the professional golf tour. An interesting irony to this circumstance exists since many Senior or Champion PGA tour players exercise the option to compete while utilizing carts on the "Senior Tour." In spite of the controversy, Casey maintained a positive attitude and has been described by many as honoring the game and facing his circumstance with both "courage" and "dignity".Now the Head Men's Golf Coach at the University of Oregon since 2006, Martin continues to impact others golf game and life circumstances. Even on the PGA Tour, the swings of the best ball strikers all have different shapes and styles -- from the classic actions of Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, to the unusual moves of Jim Furyk, John Daly, and Sergio Garcia. But there is one thing these great players all do have in common. The essence of good ball striking is proper use of the club through the impact zone. It's what Tiger, Ernie, Jim, John and Sergio all do exactly alike.
