Footballeuses, footballeurs et tous les coaches, j'accueille dans cet épisode 11 du  podcast, Julien REY, qui est coach au Sporting Club de Bron Terraillon.Aujourd'hui nous rencontrons un coach qui à pas mal vadrouillé et qui a touché à l'ensemble des catégories dans l'accompagnement des équipes. Après une blessure au genou, Julien choisit de prendre le coaching car impossible pour lui de ne plus parler foot. Il prend le temps de nous raconter son parcours et prend également du temps pour expliquer son organisation autour de la catégorie qu'il gère, les U11. On s'arrête un peu sur son rôle de coach socio-éducatif au sein de son club et de tout ce qu'il met en œuvre pour accomplir cette mission. Michelle Rayner is currently the Women's First Team Head Coach & Sporting Director for the Lexington Sporting Club. In this role, she oversees the United Soccer League (USL) Women's pathway from the Professional Team through the Youth Club. Prior to this position, Michelle held a variety of positions within the sport of soccer, including General Manager of Tower Hill Sports, a 45,000 sq.ft. state of the art facility used primarily for soccer, head soccer trainer to several professional and high-level athletes, Associate Head Women's Soccer Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Kentucky, and Head Women's Soccer Coach at High Point University, among others.  Collectively, Michelle has more than 20 years of experience working in elite soccer environments. Michelle was a professional soccer athlete in England, competing for the Millwall Lionesses' Women's Team. As an athlete, she won two National Championships, participated in the 1991 Women's World Championships held in China, and won numerous League Championships. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a minor in Coaching and Health from Lincoln Memorial University. She is using all of these experiences to shape the experiences of girls and women in the Lexington Sporting Club. Nick Malgieri, former Executive Pastry Chef at Windows on the World, is a 1996 inductee into Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America. His latest book is a completely revised and updated edition of HOW TO BAKE (Dover Books, 2018) formerly published in 1995. He is also the author of NICK MALGIERI'S PASTRY: FOOLPROOF RECIPES FOR THE HOME COOK (Kyle Books, 2014), which followed on the heels of BREAD (Kyle Books, 2012) and BAKE! Con Aquiles hablamos acerca de lo que Barcelona S.C. tuvo que pasar en el 2020 para ser campeón. En un año tan complicado, y asumiendo el control del equipo con una nueva directiva liderada por Alfaro Moreno se encontraron con grandes dificultades. Entre estas, una deuda millonaria que aqueja al equipo, la pandemia que los obligó a jugar sin público, el no tener ingresos por taquilla, y más. Aun así y a pesar de todo, Alfaro y Aquiles pudieron consolidar una gestión que les permitió tener una directiva, cuerpo técnico y jugadores, alineados con un solo objetivo, ser campeones. La gran mayoría son hinchas de equipos de fútbol en el Ecuador y muchos se preguntarán cómo se administra un equipo, desde lo administrativo hasta lo deportivo, Aquiles nos lo explicó paso a paso. Donde tratamos de poner en contexto cómo funciona un equipo versus una empresa o un emprendimiento. Si bien tienen muchas similitudes, en esta industria existen muchas aristas que se deben manejar de manera particular. Revisamos porque los dirigentes, que se encuentran en el directorio, no cobran un sueldo y aun así dan todo de su tiempo. Conversamos acerca de la línea que separa la dirigencia administrativa del manejo deportivo, donde los jugadores y cuerpo técnico toman muchas decisiones independientes como equipo. Que deben hacer los directivos para ayudar a los jóvenes deportistas que juegan por necesidad y no tienen un rol familiar al cual seguir.
