Voor zowel zijn film ‘Escort' als zijn serie ‘Overspel', won hij een Gouden Kalf voor Beste Televisiedrama. Daarnaast is hij regisseur van BuZa. Het tweede seizoen, dat nu verschijnt, gaat over minister Maarten Meinema van Buitenlandse Zaken die van zijn alcoholverslaving probeert af te komen. Hij beledigt echter een journalist die hem daarover vragen stelt. Zijn voorlichter probeert de schade te herstellen, maar raakt daarbij zelf in de problemen wanneer een jeugdzonde haar achtervolgt. This year during our adventures at Toronto Comicon we had the pleasure to have quality sit down with George Buza to talk about his returning role as BEAST in the X-Men 97 series. The most fascinating thing about George's iconic X-Men journey is just how much layered correlations he has had in his real life that relates to Beast character. It's kind of spooky in a way. Also around absolutely geeking out this turned into such a soulful introspective chat and a must listen to for any fans on the series. When George was asked by people "Why is this show so much darker than it was in the 90's" he explains that it's because the world is so much harder to live in. X-Men has always been a reflection of both social and political climates, and he gives us a little teaser of how the upcoming Seasons 2 & 3 may get even crazier as the writers pull from our reality, but the spirit of the show isn't all doom and gloom. The true spirit of the show is the perspective for those who have the hope for those who believe in a hope for peace and equality.

X-Men '97 is an American animated television series created by Beau DeMayo for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the X-Men. It is a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997), continuing the story of the X-Men who face new challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X. X-Men '97 is produced by Marvel Studios, via its Marvel Animation label, with DeMayo as head writer for the first two seasons and Jake Castorena as supervising director. Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Alison Sealy-Smith, Cal Dodd, J. P. Karliak, Lenore Zann, George Buza, A. J. LoCascio, Holly Chou, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Matthew Waterson, Ross Marquand, and Adrian Hough star as members of the X-Men. Sealy-Smith, Dodd, Zann, Buza, and Hough reprised their roles from the original series, as did Christopher Britton. Original series stars Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alyson Court, Lawrence Bayne, and Ron Rubin returned to voice new characters. The revival was first discussed in June 2019 and formally announced in November 2021, with DeMayo and Castorena attached. Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura also directed episodes. DeMayo was fired as head writer in March 2024 after completing work on the first two seasons. The series is the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since the company regained the film and television rights to the characters. Animation was provided by Studio Mir and Tiger Animation, and is a modernized version of the original series' style. X-Men '97 premiered on March 20, 2024, with its first two episodes. The rest of the ten-episode first season was released weekly until May 15. A second season is in production and a third is in development.

George Buza played Turner Edison on Maniac Mansion for the entirety of its 1990-1993 run on YTV and The Family Channel. He also had a recurring role on the Red Green Show as Dwight Cardiff, the extremely lazy marina operator. He appeared as Chief Jake McKenna several times in the TV series Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show. In addition, he portrayed Doubar, the older brother of Sinbad, in The Adventures of Sinbad syndicated TV series, as well as a recurring role on the syndicated Mutant X. George was also in episode 11 of TV Ontario's Read All About It, and played Buck Norris on The Strain. He was one of the Kzamm tribe in Quest for Fire (film).He also makes a small appearance as a trucker in 2000's X-Men movie, and a biker in George Romero's Diary of The Dead. He played Stuckmore in 2002's Men With Brooms. George Buza also played Lenny "The Brain" Lepinski in the Quebec-Ontario TV show called "The Last Chapter". He also played Santa, the character that fought Krampus in the horror movie A Christmas Horror Story.George is probably best known for voicing Beast in the X-Men Animated Series. He also reprised the role in the video games X-Men: Children of the Atom and both X-Men: Mutant Academy games.George has also provided character voices in many animated series. Lo primero que supe de ella cuando la conocí es que ha nadado con tiburones, visitado cráteres de volcanes, y que estuvo documentando las salas de maternidad covid cuando empezó la pandemia. En este episodio nos platica sobre los destinos donde ha ido con una cámara, y también nos platica sobre encontrar esperanza en lugares extremos.  María Paula pertenece a la organización internacional Fotógrafos Sin Fronteras con quienes ha realizado diversos proyectos de índole humanitaria alrededor del mundo. Es la primer mujer mexicana certificada como piloto de dron por la DGAC. Su trabajo explora temas relacionados con los derechos humanos, la conservación marina y la majestuosidad de los volcanes. Ha hecho algunos proyectos con el Instituto de Geofísica de la UNAM, con quienes sigue colaborando, sobre todo desde una perspectiva aérea, el retroceso y la desaparición de los glaciares. En 2020 llevó a cabo un proyecto en el cual estuvo documentando cómo se enfrentó la pandemia de Covid-19 en diez distintos hospitales de la Ciudad de México, el cual culminó una primera parte con la publicación del libro PANDEMIA: una mirada al frente que es un homenaje a todos el personal hospitalario.
