We are currently watching the fallout of California's COVID era as we see the consequences of Democratic governance from leaders like Governor Gavin Newsom. The stark reality of the state's leadership is evident in the $100,000 rainbow city crosswalks, the exodus of large companies like Tesla, and symbolic social victories. Where is the Golden State heading, and what led to the current decline? Chris Bray, a former infantry sergeant, former academic historian, and Blaze News columnist discusses this and much more on this episode of "Zero Hour." Learn more about your ad choices. Today we open with Donald Trump arriving in a NY Court to face a civil suit for fraud. Considering there are no victims, no missing money, no broken contracts and no unpaid interest. Yet, the racist AG from NY, Letitia James, who ran on “vote for me and I'll go after Trump,” is bringing that very suit on the Trump business. Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) doesn't know how emergency doors work or that pulling a fire alarm will cause the fire alarm to go off inside a building. From his spokesperson, to MSNBC, to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doing their utmost to provide cover, there is no real good way to explain such stupidity and/or criminality. Falsely pulling a fire alarm is a felony as is “interrupting Capitol business” as many J6'ers have been made aware. Let's see if he gets charged similarly. Speaking of our two-tiered system of justice, can we break out the Emmy's for the latest television performance by AG Merrick Garland. His fake tears and hitch in his voice is only surpassed by the utter hypocrisy of his statements. Joe Biden locked up almost as badly as Mitch McConnell when addressing some questions by the press. He really is suffering significant lapses in cognitive function, yet the press pretends there is nothing to see. He even told a news outlet how he had convinced Strom Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act when he left the Senate. Three problems with that. Joe left the senate in 2009, but Thurmond died in 2003. The Voting Rights Act passed in 1965. And, Joe Biden wasn't even in the senate until 1973. GWU professor Johnathan Turley put out a short blog detailing 10 of the items worthy of ongoing inquiry for possible Article of Impeachment. After listing the 10, he adds, there are many more, but that list is more than sufficient if even ONE of them is tied to Joe Biden. We have a new “caretaker” to fill the remaining Senate term left by the passing of Dianne Feinstein. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) had to go all the way to Maryland to find the black woman he said he needed to find to fill the position. And, in our current age of demographic check-boxes, he found a militant, socialist, lesbian, black woman who is pro-abortion. He hit the jackpot! Meet Laphonza Butler, the only woman right for California because she doesn't live there. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) wants to tie more Ukraine money to a promise that this administration will enforce border security. It's a laughable joke to watch our representatives play like little children with their pinky-swears and spending money we don't have. Finally, AB2098, California's COVID medical censorship law has been quietly repealed by the very same people who had ridiculously wanted it in place. And we know this is a positive news story because the Legacy/mainstream media is not covering it. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. My guest today is Jennifer Sey, an American author, filmmaker, business executive and a retired artistic gymnast, who was the 1986 USA National Champion. Jennifer began working at Levi's in 1999, rising to Chief Marketing Officer and then Global Brand President. She was fired from Levi's last year after speaking out against the lockdowns and specifically the harms caused to children in San Francisco; Public schools were closed for 19 months during Covid in San Francisco for 50,000+ children: the longest closure in the world, while (privileged) private schools opened up in 2020. Most of the affected children are underprivileged, and for them Jennifer fought while exposing the hypocrisy of the "Liberal Democrats" who pretend to advocate for equality & equity, and exposing the woke culture, both of Levis and the public. Jennifer refused an exit grant of 1 million dollars (!!!) in exchange for her silence, because her story and her mission are more important than money. Her recent book, “Levi's Unbuttoned,” tells the inspirational story of her corporate career, search for authenticity, and ultimate refusal to bow to the woke mob. We talked about: Career path at Levis, their response to Jennifer's views Levis' $1m offer to self-censor California's Covid restrictions, public schools closures Democrats hypocrisy in the US Free speech, media manipulation Labeling & damaging one's reputation “Viewpoint discrimination” Twitter's new CEO “Woke washing”: Diversity & Inclusion, ESG Predictions for the US Corporate America workforce Bud Light & Target failed marketing campaigns I hope you enjoy the show; please share it forward, leave a review and make sure your voice is heard! Pasadena will be the first Southern California city to require its city employees to get vaccinated against COVID. The UC system is also requiring its students and teachers to be vaccinated before the fall semester starts. California State Assemblymember Buffy Wicks tweeted on Tuesday that it's time to make vaccinations mandatory as California's COVID surge continues. She also wants businesses to start requiring customers to show proof of vaccination before they can enter. “Many counties in California would be in the purple tier if we were still using the tier system, which would mean no indoor dining [and] our schools would be closed. I do not want to go back to that,” she tells KCRW. “We need a cultural shift in the way that we approach vaccine requirements if we want to get out of this pandemic.”

In January of 1776, Thomas Paine anonymously penned a radical proposal for American independence. “Common Sense,” the title of his pamphlet, has been a rallying cry for American patriots since our founding and continues to unite a dissatisfied public in the pursuit of better governance.Today, a new Common Sense Party of California – led by Quentin Kopp and Tom Campbell – aims to free Californians from the yoke of single-party rule. Ending One-Party Rule, Once and For AllCalifornia has problems. From drought to fires, a bankrupt pension system, homelessness, unemployment, and housing crises, the only “solutions” our leaders have offered are more regulation, higher taxes, and the declaration of a permanent state of emergency. The primary crisis, however, is the lack of leadership. The Democratic Party has failed liberal and conservative voters alike. Lacking serious competition from an increasingly irrelevant GOP, our legislature has let special interests write the laws – that is, when “Emperor Newsom” isn't exercising indefinite and dubious “emergency powers.”Help is On the WayMeanwhile, former U.S. Congressman and California state senator Tom Campbell has been laying the groundwork for an independent third party that could run serious contenders for the state office as soon as 2022. Outside of his political career, Campbell has served as Dean of Chapman University's Fowler School of Law, a Dean and professor at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, and Professor of Law at Stanford.Campbell joined me to outline his vision of a party of principles and independence from political monopoly run by special interests. We'll also discuss the ever-important question of separation of powers in the context of federalism and California's COVID policy. After learning about the Common Sense Party from Judge Quentin Kopp last fall, I've been eager to get an update. Signature gathering to get on the ballot was put on hold by the pandemic, but Campbell and Kopp are finally getting back to work. If the recall movement is any indicator of Californian's dissatisfaction with the status quo, they should have no trouble getting the 70,000 required signatures to get on the ballot. Yes it works! The COVID Vaccine was first distributed to a small population of health care workers. I remember rumors about people having half of their face paralyzed. No one wanted to take it in my community. In fact, people were even judging others who were taking the vaccine. No one wanted to change into a zombie. Was this a valid scare? Look at it like this. HIV and cancer have been around for years with no cure. Now they have a vaccination for COVID in a matter of months.. I'm skeptical. This shows two things: One: the vaccine may not be safe. Or two: they could give cures or vaccines for these other diseases. The second sounds about right. They started distributing the vaccine to make more money. With everything shut down, businesses were losing money. There isn't a rush for the other diseases because medical companies make a profit. They rushed the COVID vaccine by putting it to a small population to see the results and they got them. California's COVID rate dropped under 2%. And 20,000 less people stopped dying weekly from COVID related deaths. They first had to put it out into a small community to see the reaction before they put it into a larger community. This is how you should market your products or services. It's called a minimal valuable product. The minimal valuable product is the smallest version of your product or service. You send out this smallest version to your hot audience to see how they react. Based on the reaction, you decide if you will proceed with it or not. You must get it out and distribute it like the COVID vaccine to see how your hot traffic reacts. Test your product to see if it works. Prompted by Keri asking about his "Too Nice" sign in the background, Carter opens with a rant about the dangers of avoiding conflict and being overly agreeable with errant philosophers and academics whose ideas are responsible for the destruction of Western Civilization. Next, they laugh about the outrage from duped union members ("low information voters") over Joe Biden's cancelling of the Keystone Pipeline project. After playing a clip from Kmele Foster's appearance on Bill Maher in which he argues against the "anti-racist" practice of turning everything into a discussion about race, Keri highlights the blatantly racist responses from sanctimonious (and often white) SJWs online. [The Kmele clip has been removed from the YouTube version of this episode due to copyright claims.] Keri proposes a non-profit dedicated to encouraging people NOT to vote, and Carter loves the idea. They discuss problems with universal suffrage and Carter reiterates his assertion that people who get paychecks from the government have a conflict of interest and therefore should not vote. Then they turn their attention to Jeff Bezos, whose Washington Post argued incessantly about the fairness, safety, and integrity of mail-in voting when it came to the Presidential election. It turns out that when it comes to the voting process for Amazon workers seeking to unionize, however, Bezos is very concerned about mail-in ballots and has filed a request with the National Labor Relations Board to delay the vote and to "adopt a workable standard that promotes manual elections" as opposed to mail-in ballots. After celebrating the lifting of California's COVID lockdowns thanks to the election of The "Joe-ssiah," Carter reviews the 81 presidential election lawsuits and notes that none of them have ever reached the stage of even being allowed to argue evidence. Finally, they end with some intermittent frivolity by watching a video of the Biden family being locked out of the Whitehouse as a direct result of their ideological purge. This episode of The Jeffers Brief I do a little ranting, but it is needed. I also talk about: * A Sound clip of Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) on the House floor as he lays out before Congress the Election shenanigans' of 2020, and I comment on it. *Also about California's Covid actions and Los Angeles Mayor Garcetti interview when he puts the blame on House Dems for the slow vaccine distribution, and his own failures of Covid mitigations. Most of which is ludicrous at best. * Also why if you are NOT a prepper, why you need to start being ASAP. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/contra-radio-network/support

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse in California, Gavin Newsom and his band of merry lockdowners have done it again. After a massive mismanagement of COVID data, one of the state's leading experts on COVID-19 has resigned. Newsom has also announced that the state will be unable to pay out full unemployment benefits that were decided by the Trump administration over the weekend. We discuss the latest on Newsom's shortcomings. Also on today's episode we examine an article by our friend Lionel Shriver who points out some very interesting points about the pandemic in the U.K and the "overselling" of the virus. And how are "COVID deaths" impacting total deaths across the world? In the UK, total deaths are down drastically from previous years. Are we over-counting COVID deaths or have deaths magically declined? You decide! We hope you enjoy today's episode of the Daily Virus. Please consider becoming a monthly giver to keep us going! California's Covid-19 cases and fatalities is a fraction of New York's. As the Golden State begins to re-open next week, can we keep the Coronavirus in check ? While our weekly death rate remains about 500, that number has been stubbornly resistant to coming down.
