The final scheduled game between West Virginia and No. 17 Oklahoma is full of intrigue. Will the Mountaineer offense continue to roll? How will the Sooners respond after two unexpected losses? Those are just a few of the many questions surrounding Saturday night's encounter in Norman. Each team has won with a walk-off field goal in the last two meetings, but Oklahoma is a double-digit favorite this year. WVU's last win in Norman came in 1982 quarterback Jeff Hostetler's debut as a Mountaineer. In this episode, the "Guys" analyze the matchup and give their keys to the game. Listener questions and comments complete the show.

Former Giants, Raiders, and Redskins QB and Super Bowl Champion, Jeff Hostetler joins the program to discuss what Brock Purdy is going through as a backup trying to win a Super Bowl.
11-19-2022 Passed Ball Show. John opens up this program by talking about Geno Smith being a backup quarterback succeeding as a starter in the NFL and why it is not a bad thing. He compares Geno to some of the best backup quarterbacks in NFL history such as Earl Morrall, Craig Morton, Steve Young (when he was Joe Montana's backup), Steve Beuerlein (with Dallas), Jeff Hostetler, and Nick Foles. He then laughs at the hypocrisy of the former NFL players complaining on their talk programs about Jeff Saturday becoming the Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Saturday became the HC for the Colts for the same reason the players got jobs as NFL analysts- BECAUSE THEY PLAYED THE FRIGGIN eGAME! The same nepotism they are criticizing Saturday for getting is the same reason they got their jobs. After giving some credit to 2022 NFL Draftees Christian Watson and Treylon Burks, John blasts the draft as possibly being the worst in the history of the league when it comes to the quarterback position. John doubles down on that by stating that five years from now there will be zero (0) starting QB's from this draft class with the likeliness that all nine that were drafted in 2022 will be out of the league. Finally, when NoBody is Listening, John gives a destination for free agent outfielder Brandon Nimmo that would improve that team more than either Toronto or New York.

Leonard Marshall, Tony Collins, Mike Pritchard, Mark Collins, & Vance McDonald Join Us... Leonard Marshall started off talking about his admiration of former AFL star DT Ernie Ladd, who it turns out was married to Leonard's second cousin. We also get his thoughts on the Giants hiring Bryan Cox as a new Assistant Defensive Line Coach, what the Giants need to do in order to compete for an NFC East Division title, why LSU had to fire Head Coach Ed Orgeron, and why Leonard isn't in the Giants Ring of Honor. We wrapped up our season Prognostication Championship with Tony Collins this week. Tony fell just short, being caught from behind by Bob for this year's title after Tony went with the Bengals in the Super Bowl. Mike Pritchard shared his thoughts on the Super Bowl and what makes Cooper Kupp such a great WR. He also shares his insights on the Raiders season, and how fragile success is in the NFL. Mark Collins talked about his memories of winning 2 Super Bowls with the Giants in 1986 & 1990. Mark also talked about what it was like dealing with the extended half-times in Super Bowls, what has driven him to be successful in college, the NFL, and broadcasting. We also get some happy memories of his block that sprung George Martin's 75 yard pick-six against Denver and his own 78 yard pick-six against former teammate Jeff Hostetler when Mark was in Kansas City and Jeff was with the Raiders. Vance McDonald rounded out the show. We talked with Vance about how he ended up playing his college ball at Rice.
