Cultura Technologies: https://culturatech.com/Metal Dog Labs: https://www.metaldoglabs.ai/Software Is Feeding The World Newsletter: https://www.rhishipethe.com/sftwIf there's been a theme on this show over the past few months, it's what does tech collaboration look like? Is it lip service or will it lead to real outcomes? You've heard from Lawrence King, Claudia Roessler, Mark Pendergrast, Jim Ethington and others all talking about this. Today, we hear from another leader who has proven experience in agtech collaboration, Jeff Schreiner. Jeff is the senior vice president of global collaboration at Cultura Tech, a company that has acquired technology companies focused on agriculture across the value chain. Jeff is interviewed by Rhishi Pethe in today's episode about collaboration, data, regulation, and the future of agriculture.
Headstorm: https://headstorm.com/AGPILOT: https://headstorm.com/agpilot/Arable: https://www.arable.com/FoA 256: Agtech Collaboration and Data-Driven Decision Agriculture with Jim Ethington of ArableToday's episode features Arable CEO Jim Ethington. Jim first appeared on this show on episode 256 back in 2021 and I was pleased to get a chance to sit down for a second interview with him in person at World AgriTech in March. His background is impressive. Prior to joining Arable in 2018, he spent 10 years at The Climate Corporation where he was VP of Product and grew the company to 50 million paid acres and built a team from 10 to over 600 individuals. So he started at Climate in 2008 when they were still called Weatherbill and stayed with the company through the big acquisition in 2013 and for years after that. So Jim has been thinking about the challenges and opportunities in digital agriculture for a long long time and it shows in the insights he shares in this episode. If you're not familiar with Arable, they are an ag technology company that provides data insights and recommendations to help farms be more productive and sustainable. Specifically they have created an intuitive system for farmers and agronomists to optimize irrigation, fertilizer applications and other important farm decisions. This is all based around their Arable Mark 3 device. Jim is also one of the guests suggested by Lawrence King at Headstorm to give one of their client testimonials. Similar to Amie at Wilbur Ellis and Claudia at Microsoft, I wanted to make this one a full length episode because Jim is someone I wanted to have back on the show anyway to get an update on Arable and more of his insights on the future of ag. And he doesn't disappoint. I'll drop you into the conversation where he's explaining the key insight from farmers that informs the work they do at Arable.

Headstorm: https://headstorm.com/AGPILOT: https://headstorm.com/agpilot/Today's episode features Headstorm CEO Lawrence King. Lawrence has over 18 years of technology strategy consulting experience. He got his start in agtech with Farmlink over eight years ago where he built an engineering team. That company ran into some hard times, and Lawrence found himself with a talented team of engineers and no work to do. He tapped into his contacts in agtech looking for strategy and engineering talent and Headstorm was born. Today, Headstorm has worked with companies all throughout agriculture and in similar industries who want to implement large-scale technology initiatives in their businesses. He'll give us a few examples of what that looks like. Also, Headstorm recently announced a product of their own called AGPILOT, which uses generative AI to give ag retailers and other agronomists a new interface to record and access their data which ultimately allows them to better serve farmer customers.Lawrence has a lot of battle-tested wisdom about what works and what doesn't work in agtech, and he shares a lot of those insights in today's interview.

The Sword Guy Podcast episode 94 Dr. Andrew Lawrence-King is a historical musician, harpist, continuo player, baroque opera director, winner of a Grammy in the category of best small ensemble performance. He is also a rapier fencer and Tai Chi practitioner. And I should mention his crowning professional achievement is, of course, providing the harp music for my George Silver Paradoxes of Defence audiobook. In our conversation we talk about the similarities between researching historical music and historical martial arts. We discuss the search for the one, perfect instrument and the challenges of recreating historically accurate music or swordplay using instruments/swords made with modern techniques. We also talk about the benefits of getting involved in music or martial arts for those of us who didn't fit in at school, giving us confidence and a way to move our bodies that doesn't involve traditional sports, whatever shape we are in. Andrew's blog is https://andrewlawrenceking.com and he is on Twitter @Il_Corago. In the first of our CiR Resurrected!! episodes, we revisit the Franklin coverup that had an epicenter in Omaha, Nebraska but in reality, spanned all over the country. Prominent figures and trusted institutions were involved, and the stink of a coverup emerged every step along the way in any investigation that was conducted. We discuss the depraved pieces of garbage that took part in this coverup, the children who were brave enough to come forward with the stories of their abuse, and the few individuals who fought to expose the truth. In light of the Epstein situation, we thought we should resurrect the story of Franklin and the people it affected, to show that really, this stuff has been going on for a very long time. Join us as we tell you the story of the Franklin sex & drug trafficking ring...no really, burn it all to the fucking ground. In this fifth episode of Recovery, a series from The Anthill Podcast exploring key moments in history when parts of the world recovered from a major crisis or shock, we're looking at what happened in the former Soviet Union during the transition from communism to capitalism in the 1990s.When the USSR was finally dissolved at the end of 1991 it was a massive shock to the system for millions of people. The transition from a state-controlled command economy to a market-driven capitalist one was a hugely complex structural change. What followed was what's come to be known as “shock therapy” – post-communist states were suddenly subject to mass privatisation and market reforms. Price controls were lifted. State support – which had been such a fundamental part of everybody's way of life in the former Soviet Union and eastern bloc – was withdrawn.Jo Crotty, professor of management and director of the Institute for Social Responsibility at Edge Hill University, was living in between Belarus and Russia in the early 1990s. She describes the hyperinflation and economic breakdown she witnessed during this period. Companies tried to keep people employed, but these were jobs in name only and there was a huge problem of hidden unemployment – which she says offers a warning as coronavirus furlough schemes end today. Some parts of the former Soviet Union and Eastern bloc countries recovered quicker than others. Lawrence King, professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a research associate at Cambridge University's Judge Business School, explains why, and what political upheaval the drastic economic reforms provoked. He also describes the devastating impact that waves of privatisation had on mortality rates in Russia in the 1990s.And Elisabeth Schimpfössl, lecturer in sociology and policy at Aston University, talks about a new group of oligarchs emerged in Russia during the transition in the 1990s, benefitting from the waves of privatisation and shift to a capitalist system. She describes the enduring legacy this period has had on wealth inequality in Russia. You can read more about the post-Soviet transition and its legacy alongside other articles in our Recovery series accompanying this podcast. This episode was produced by Gemma Ware and Annabel Bligh with sound design by Eloise Stevens. The Anthill is produced by The Conversation UK. While many have never heard of it, The Franklin Cover Up is one of the most disturbing cases of our lifetime. It involved high powered individuals, from rising star politicians, future presidents, Chiefs of Police, School District Superintendents, and much much more. The man at the center of the Franklin Community Credit Union, Lawrence King, was the man running a prolific child sex ring that perpetrated sadistic abuse against its victims, as well as murder. Possibly the worst part? There were countless allegations made in thorough and disturbing detail by children detailing the most horrific of situations, all that corroborated one another and named the same perpetrators, and the police did nothing. Time and time again, these young victims were discredited, and some of them even punished harsher than their alleged abusers by the court for "perjury". The levels of corruption that must take place in order for abuse on this scale to go unpunished is a truly frightening revelation. Join us as we begin our coverage on this most disturbing of cases you've never heard of. Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/creepitrealpod)
We hear more pieces from America's MIA Children, specifically from a psychiatrist and lawyer who had met with Paul Bonacci personally to assess the credibility of his claims. We'll also look into Bonacci's lawsuit against Lawrence King and how it would have a direct effect on the Johnny Gosch case.
Lawrence "Larry" King had a rough childhood. His biological family wasn't great so he and his brother ended being adopted by another family. His adopted family wasn't that great either, especially towards Larry, it might've been because Larry came out as gay at 10 yrs old. Because of the abuse happening in his adopted home, he was placed in a group shelter for abused and neglected children. He was transferred to E.O. Green Junior HS in the 7th grade where he met fellow student, Brandon McInerney. Larry began having a little crush on Brandon, even though Brandon was straight. Larry started being flirtatious towards Brandon, which made him very angry and when Larry took it a little too far, Brandon had had enough and decided to take matters into his own hands.Spotify Playlist of our Jam of the Weeks- https://open.spotify.com/user/125157452/playlist/41vsfx8vrUkKHVX9AD8A3m?si=r3LdDCTxSRi6t1qlUH90JgWebsite- ItsAboutDamnCrime.comEmail- ItsAboutDamnCrime@gmail.com (Send us your Stranger Danger stories)Patreon- Patreon.com/iadcpodcastFB/IG- Its about damn crimeTwitter/Snapchat- iadcpodcast

My guest on todays show is author Lawrence King, a member of The Spiritual Literacy Foundation to chat about his new book "Eye of Truth: Who is God?" The Eye Of Truth is about 40 different people's perspectives from all walks of life in reference to questions such as Who is God? Who is the Devil? Does God really exist? Do you believe in reincarnation? Where is Hell? Where Is Heaven? What is purpose on planet earth? Do you believe in Karma? Each individual clearly defines their responses to the questions that were presented in this book from Lawrence J. King
