Tak jako řekněte, že opozice nemá mít žádné pozice, že porušíte všechny zvyklosti,“ prohlásil šéf poslaneckého klubu ODS Marek Benda na plénu.Sněmovna minulý týden nezvolila například poslance ODS Pavla Žáčka do funkce předsedy stálé komise pro kontrolu činnosti Generální inspekce  bezpečnostních sborů, ale ani exministra zdravotnictví Vlastimila Válka (TOP 09) nebo poslankyni Zdenku Němečkou Crkvenjaš (ODS) do správní rady Všeobecné zdravotní pojišťovny. Ve volbě neuspěla ani kandidátka na místopředsedkyni Sněmovny Barbora Urbanová (STAN). Předchozího kandidáta STAN a předsedu tohoto hnutí Víta Rakušana sněmovní většina odmítla zvolit opakovaně.Marek Benda obvinil koalici z toho, že chce ovládnout vše a bez kritického hlasu. A slíbil jim, že pokud mají pocit, že někdo zdržuje, sám zdržovat ještě nezačal a teprve začne. Naposledy včera emoce vyvolalo vystoupení předsedy poslanců KDU-ČSL Mariana Jurečky. Ze zdržování a obstrukcí podle něj může koalice vinit hlavně sebe, protože sněmovní agendu dostatečně neprojednává s opozicí. Zástupci koaličního ANO, SPD a Motoristů už přišli s protireakcí a dohodli se na možnostech, jak ve Sněmovně bránit blokováním schůzí ze strany opozice. Předseda dolní komory a lídr SPD Tomio Okamura k tomu v pondělí řekl, že využije možností stávajícího jednacího řádu, novelu jednacích pravidel projednanou v druhém čtení už rozšiřovat nechce. Představit připravované kroky zatím odmítl.V minulém volebním období vyvolávaly diskuse o neefektivním fungování Sněmovny obstrukce tehdy opozičních ANO a SPD, časté mimořádné schůze i jednání do pozdního večera, nebo dokonce přes noc. American George H. Kerr was the most important Western eyewitness and chronicler of the February 28 Incident of 1947, the violent uprising and brutal crackdown that shaped Taiwan's modern politics and identity. Kerr first lived in Taiwan in the late 1930s, when the island was a colony of Japan. During the war, he worked for the U.S. Navy as a Taiwan expert, and then from 1945 to 1947 served as the U.S. vice consul in Taipei. His account of Chinese Nationalist (KMT) misrule, Formosa Betrayed (1965), is arguably the most influential English-language book ever written about Taiwan. John chats with Kerr scholar Jonathan Benda about the book and the man behind it. Why did it take Kerr so long to publish his account? What does the “betrayed” in the title refer to? Con ellas hablamos sobre la causa saharaui en el Sáhara Occidental y qué significa enfrentarse no solo a la violencia del ocupante marroquí, sino también a las violencias internas, a la misoginia y a los silencios dentro de su propia comunidad. Benda si také myslel, že když ukážeme náš způsob života, tak to možná zláká lidi, kteří nás jen uvidí. Paralelní polis nemá být uzavřený svět nějakého exkluzivního společenství. Každý do něj může přijít. Ale musí to být jeho volba. Nikoho nebudu přemlouvat, protože jsem zjistil, že to nemá smysl,“ říká Martin M. Šimečka o konceptu nezávislého společenského života k němuž se vrací ve své nové knize Výjimečný stav - Jak dobře žít ve zlých časech (Respekt Media,2025). Proč a jak má podle něj teď smysl rozvíjet podobné společenství nejen ve slovenské demokracii? Kdy se v životě zachoval jako zbabělec a jak se naučil statečnosti? „Před pár dny jsem se potkal s jednou terapeutkou, kterou rodiče vydědili a vyhnali z domu, protože jezdí na Ukrajinu pomáhat handicapovaným dětem traumatizovaným válkou a pořádá sbírky. Její rodiče volili Fica a její bratr volí přímo fašisty. Zajímají mě motivy lidí, jako je tato paní. Proč se k nim nepřidala,“ říká spisovatel a novinář slovenského Denníku N. Do Sněmovny se Lipavský dostal jako nestraník za ODS na pražské kandidátce koalice Spolu.ODS, která po volbách míří do opozice, už naplánovala na 17. a 18. ledna stranický kongres a chystá se zvolit nástupce předsedy Petra Fialy. Ten oznámil, že vyvodil zodpovědnost za prohru vládní koalice Spolu a kandidovat na post předsedy už nebude.O post ve vedení strany by podle předsedy poslaneckého klubu Marka Bendy měla usilovat i pražská ODS. „Myslím, že lidé jsou. A výsledek nám jako Praze dává zcela legitimní požadavek na to, že bychom někoho ve vedení ODS mít měli,“ řekl v neděli v Ptám se já.Zda by to měl být i populární Lipavský, komentovat Benda nechtěl.
