Hour 1 The Jets lost to the Patriots and Boomer said they have to get rid of Greg Zuerlein. There is nothing about the Jets that looks good. The offense, defense and special teams are all terrible right now. When you blow it by drafting a QB that stinks, you are screwed for a decade. What are the repercussions for holding someone accountable? The Patriots have no offense whatsoever and they marched down the field converting third downs and beat the Jets. And the fact that it was the Patriots again that ended the Jets season is ‘cruel' according to Gio. Gio said ‘it's hilarious' at this point. And the Jets are on national television again this Thursday night against the Texans. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update of the day, but first we talked about the terrible haircut he got last week. He starts with the sounds of the Jets giving up a late TD to lose in New England. The Jets have lost 5 straight and are now 2-6. There is still a disconnect between Rodgers and the offense. Jeff Ulbrich called it a moment of darkness so Rodgers was asked about that after the game. The Commanders won on a hail mary and C-Lo has the audio. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Woody Johnson firing Rob Saleh in the middle of the season, and Saleh wanting to change offensive play calling duties. Hour 2 The Yankees come back home tonight down 2-0. The Friday night game was as bad as it gets as far as Aaron Boone affecting the game. Gio thought Gerrit Cole himself should have had a problem with being pulled from that game. Even Edwin Diaz told Carlos Mendoza, ‘No'. And why don't the analytics factor in when a guy hasn't pitched in forever like Nestor Cortes. Then they lose game 2 and Aaron Judge is simply not hitting. Now their backs are up against the walls. Cortes does not pitch in the ninth inning with two men on and superstars coming up. He has not dealt with that as he's a starting pitcher. We went over the various moves that Aaron Boone made that didn't work. The Yankees are actually favored tonight and Boomer said they should be as they have been in both these games. The Yankees have to beat up on Walker Buehler. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Jets losing to the lowly Patriots. The Jets have now lost 5 straight. The Cowboys lost to the Niners and they fall to 3-4. Jameis Winston referenced Eminem after the game. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer wants the Yankees fans to give Judge a standing ovation like the Phillies fans did for Trea Turner. Hour 3 We talked about World Series game 3 tonight. Boomer is impressed with the speed Ohtani has on the bases and how he moves when he hits a ball he knows is extra bases. Boomer still thinks the Yankees are going to win the World Series, although he also said whoever won game 1 would win the Series. Gio loves the Yankees in tonight's game 3. C-Lo returns for an update and has all the sounds of the Jets losing to the Patriots. That's 5 straight losses to bring them to 2-6. Trevon Diggs was not happy with a reporter that tweeted a video that showed him not giving a full effort. ‘Talk about deez nuts', said Diggs. We heard from Nantz and Romo as Washington threw a hail mary to beat the Bears. In the final segment of the hour, Taylor Mathis, one of the walking bets girls got into some sort of cryptocurrency scandal that she tweeted she wanted to kill herself. Hour 4 Game 3 of the World Series is tonight in the Bronx and Aaron Judge is struggling at the plate. Boomer wants the fans to support him at the plate. The Jets lost again and are now 2-6 and Gio thinks Aaron Rodgers is disinterested and not as locked in as he used to be. Almost like it doesn't matter as much to him as it used to. Who will be the next head coach of the Jets? Is that going to be it for Joe Douglas? Gio wonders if Rodgers will just sit it out for the rest of the season at some point. Boomer said he is too prideful of a person to do that. Gio said he will not be ...

Hour 1 We opened by talking about the Jets. Boomer said the NFL season is no different than a game with four quarters. Right now the Jets are in the first quarter. It's not going well, but it's only the fourth quarter. They have the Patriots this week which is a game they should win. Boomer said there is too much talent on the Jets for them not to win their fair share of games. We also talked about Bill Belichick continuing to talk bad about Woody Johnson in the media and Gio thinks that's going to hurt the chances of the Jets getting a great coach. Jerry is here for his first update but first there seems to be an issue with Jerry and golf today with Boomer & Gio. Jerry has Kevin Harlan on the call as the Ravens beat the Bucs behind 5 Lamar Jackson TDs. Brian Daboll is sticking with Daniel Jones because he gives them the best chance to win. In the final segment of the hour, Aaron Rodgers picked his nose and ate it on the sideline during the loss to the Steelers. Hour 2 Gio doesn't think the Mets are going to dole out contracts based on the nostalgia of the 2024 team. David Stearns has to look at Pete Alonso as a guy in his 30's who had a down year and is declining, and he has an agent that is going to get him the most money possible. It will also be interesting to see what the Mets rotation will look like next year. Juan Soto is going to take the most money he can get. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Ravens beating the Bucs, 41-31. The Ravens are 5-2 after starting 0-2. The Cardinals beat the Chargers, but Jim Harbaugh had a Nelson Mandela quote after the game. Bill Belichick said, ‘the Jets are the Jets and Woody's Woody'. Joe Benigno was on with Evan and Tiki and was not happy with Aaron Rodgers, Garrett Wilson, Greg Zuerlein, Sauce Gardner, the defensive line and Jeff Ulbrich. Brian Daboll was asked about the lack of effort by Deonte Banks. Tiki Barber doesn't want him on the team if that's the effort he's giving. Bronny and LeBron could play together tonight in Los Angeles. In the final segment of the hour, Tua will start for the Dolphins this week. We talked about Daniel Jones and playing better on the road (they are in Pittsburgh this week). Hour 3 We are giving away World Series tickets for game 3 on the show on Friday. We talked about how beautiful the World Series is going to look at Yankee Stadium and Dodgers Stadium. A caller from the Bronx said ever since the Yankees won the ALCS, they have been cleaning graffiti from the Bronx to make it seem like a beautiful place to live. Gio said this feels like history, Yankees vs Dodgers and Boomer should go to a game in the Bronx. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of Kevin Harlan as the Ravens beat the Bucs 41-31. Rex Ryan was going off on the Jets for being a collection of players instead of a team. Micah Parsons was not happy with Giants fans burning Saquon Barkley's jersey in the parking lot. Jayden Daniels is considered week to week with his rib injury. Tua is playing this weekend for the Dolphins and said he knows what he signed up for. The NBA season opens tonight. In the final segment of the hour, Jets fans are negative but realistic. Jets fans don't overrate their team. Giants fans are delusional according to Gio. The Younger Knicks fan is also delusional according to Gio. Hour 4 Aaron Rodgers will be on with Pat McAfee today. I think Jets fans are starting to get sick of him being on McAfee with all the losing they're doing. Boomer loves McAfee on College Gameday. A caller said Rodgers looks ‘shot'. Boomer assured us Rodgers still has plenty left in the tank. They have had a lot of issues in the second half. We talked more about delusional fan bases in the New York area. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with Kevin Harlan on the call as the Ravens beat the Bucs, 41-31. The Cardinals beat the Chargers on a last second FG, 17-15. We talked about naked guys in locker rooms and reporters wh ...

The Browns were on their way to 2-0. That is, until they weren't. The Browns held a 13-point lead with 1:55 left in Sunday's home opener against the New York Jets. Just over 90 seconds later, Joe Flacco hit Garrett Wilson for a 15-yard touchdown pass and Greg Zuerlein added the go-ahead point-after kick for a 31-30 Jets win. The Jets scored 14 points in the final 1:22 of the game. Ashtyn Davis intercepted a Jacoby Brissett pass with six seconds left to seal the game. Browns fans thought they could exhale when Nick Chubb's 12-yard run with 1:55 remaining gave them a 30-17 lead. Cade York, last week's hero, missed the point-after kick, which proved fatal. That run, though, only gave the Browns a momentary chance to breathe. The Jets answered with a 66-yard touchdown pass to a wide open Corey Davis with 1:22 remaining when Denzel Ward and Grant Delpit seemed to botch the coverage. The Jets then recovered the onside kick at their own 47 and marched down the field for the game-winner on a third-and-10 play.If Browns fans had questions about Brissett's passing after the season opener, the quarterback made it a point to quiet some of those with the way he started his first home game of the regular season. Brissett completed his first eight passes, and 10 of 11 first-half passes The only incompletion of the half almost was a touchdown. Brissett threw a 6-yard fade to Donovan Peoples-Jones that the tightly-covered receiver grabbed as he was falling out of bounds on the right sideline. The officials initially ruled it a touchdowns. However, after a replay review, it was ruled Peoples-Jones wasn't able to control the ball to the ground while getting his feet inbounds. Brissett made sure it counted on the next play, hitting Amari Cooper for a 6-yard touchdown and a 14-7 lead with 8:17 left in the first half. Brissett, though, sustained what appeared to be a knee injury on a sack with just under five minutes remaining. He did come back on the next series. Brissett completed 22 of 29 passes for 229 yards and a touchdown and the game-sealing interception. There was a lot of conversation about how involved in the offensive game plan Cooper was in the opener. It took until the second drive of his first home game for him to get his first target, but he got it rolling then. Brissett found Cooper four times on that drive for 48 yards, including the 6-yard touchdown pass. Cooper finished with nine catches for 101 yards in the game. The first three quarters were tough sledding for Chubb. The Browns star running back had just 37 rushing yards on 11 carries through 45 minutes. Chubb changed that on the Browns' first fourth-quarter possession. He ran it four times for 41 yards, plus a 15-yard screen pass, as he helped give the Browns a 24-17 lead with 9:21 remaining. Chubb capped the drive with a 7-yard run in which he ran to the right, made a slight cut to the left and then powered his way over the goal line for the score. Chubb finished with 87 yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Jets then recovered the onside kick at their own 47 and marched down the field for the game-winner on a third-and-10 play. If Browns fans had questions about Brissett's passing after the season opener, the quarterback made it a point to quiet some of those with the way he started his first home game of the regular season.
