(The Center Square) – Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Tuesday that travelers without Real ID-compliant cards will still be able to board flights – for now – even when the law takes effect on Wednesday. "What will happen tomorrow is folks will come through the line, and [they] will issue their ID and show it," Noem told lawmakers on Tuesday. "If it's not compliant, they may be diverted to a different line, have an extra step, but people will be allowed to fly." The requirement for REAL IDs comes from legislation passed by Congress in 2005 after the 9/11 attacks, and was intended to make IDs more difficult to fake. The REAL ID Act established minimum security standards for driver's licenses and other forms of state-issued identification.Support this podcast: https://secure.anedot.com/franklin-news-foundation/ce052532-b1e4-41c4-945c-d7ce2f52c38a?source_code=xxxxxxFull story: https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_0e789f3f-1e67-414a-95cd-9dbe6d69a240.html

While many are excusing this latest move as "not a big deal," it opens the door wide for digital IDs which ironically the same side shrugging off Real IDs are usually against. This is the World Economic Forum Great Reset agenda and it's incredible that most don't see it. First proposed in 2005 as a provision for the Patriot Act in order to "crack down on terrorism" while increasing surveillance, it was pushed forward again in 2018 with the deadline being announced as October 21st, 2021. Signs were plastered over airports as they simultaneously brought in facial recognition scanners to replace passports. Now that they're bringing it in on May 7th, it's important to break down why it matters. As Ron Paul and Thomas Massie warn, this is the intro to the digital ID system. It is not voluntary as you will be restricted from plane, train and bus travel if you don't obey. Interestingly, the left side of the paradigm has been pushing for a ban on travel utilizing digital IDs as well. Short haul flights are banned in France. The UK is bringing in a ban on flights by 2029 under the guise of "Net Zero" laws. Kristi Noem who wants to ban you from criticizing Israel and have you deported announced the implementation via the TSA, the criminal enterprise that employs sex offenders to grope children. Meanwhile, the digital ID is going forward in Scotland as well as the EU digital ID. Simultaneously, the EU is releasing their CBDC Digital Euro by October at the latest. The UK is releasing theirs by December. This is not a coincidence. The UK is also pushing forward biometrics for migration after importing the migrants in the first place and yes, of course the United States is as well. Not to mention, Trump has SpaceX and murderous Palantir competing for contracts on his Iron Dome surveillance missile system. This is a fast slippery slope into total international technocracy as they enslave you to a system of control with social credits, carbon credits and rations. The people who would usually shout from mountain tops about these initiatives are sitting on their hands because it's happening through Trump. The same guy who just pledged 500 billion to AI as Elon Musk pushes forward a digital ID system through XAI which he just sold X to for 33 billion dollars. As he registers X as a bank, uses social credit on the algorithm to hide or promote content, puts chips on people's brains attached to a Pentagon funded mesh network and promotes UBI and carbon taxes. If you don't see the agenda yet, we aren't sure what else to say but the Mainstream Alternative Media continues to fawn over this obvious technocratic agenda. Stay tuned for more from WAM! We spend time discussing both the SAVE Act and Real ID. The former shows how desperate Democrats are to keep voting open to anyone and everyone who is not eligible to vote. As for the later, it's amazing how many on the Right are worried about Real ID being implemented. The law was passed in 2005 and has slowly rolled out to where all 50 states are already issuing Real IDs via drivers licenses and other government issued identification. Democrats have decided they will be the party that sides with the 20% over the rest of the country that is in the 80% of most common sense issues. It was also a Real-estate 2nd Saturday so that meant I was joined by guests Cindy Dent of Cindy Dent Homes and her partner Gina D'Ubano. We close, during a solo version of the Vulcan Mind-meld (BK was out on vacation) with a montage of Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) telling us for 32 years that the oligarchy has been “rapidly” approaching. Also, interviews from the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast with the Southport Flying Club and Airport president, an Air Commodore with the RAAF, and a decorated Australian war hero. Washington state delegation at the Farnborough Air Show Guest Nikki Malcom is the CEO and Executive Director of the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), a non-profit trade association that promotes the growth and global competitiveness of the Pacific Northwest. Nikki has spent many years in various roles dedicated to the aerospace industry and is obsessed with all things aviation and aerospace, including manufacturing. Nikki was previously our guest in Episode 741. We get an update on the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Cluster, the grant-funded initiative with the mission to make the Pacific Northwest a magnet for aerospace manufacturing. Nikki explains the focus on workforce development [PDF], specifically aerospace career awareness, and all the many different roles in the supply chain. Nikki tells us that the Aerospace From the Ground Up podcast will be launching on the Aerospace is for Everyone YouTube channel. It will mainly target the 18-25 age group, but not exclusively. We can expect to see interviews with and about the people in the industry. The PNAA is working to get more people into the pipeline. That includes launching a mentorship program and developing an online community. PNAA provides business development by representing aerospace interests at Farnborough and other trade shows. Nikki also describes events organized by the Association, including the  PNAA Advance 2025 conference to be held February 3-5, 2025. We also hear about the Aerospace Futures Alliance which advocates for Washington state's aerospace industry. Aviation News Boeing Machinists reject contract as 96% vote to strike The International Association of Machinists membership voted to go on strike at Boeing, despite the union leadership recommending they accept the negotiated contract. 94.6% of the members voted to reject the contract and 96% voted to strike. The proposed contract offered a 25% wage increase over four years but also dropped the annual bonus, which some estimated to be about 4% each year. The union wanted 40% over 3 years. Boeing Commercial Airplane CEO Stephanie Pope told employees in a message that “we did not hold back with an eye on a second vote.” IAM Union Sends Message to IAM District 751 and W24 Members: Our Solidarity Will Win This Fight Boeing strike will be felt throughout the aviation industry Kansas aviation industry could be affected by machinists strike TSA announces proposed rule to provide necessary flexibility as federal agencies prepare to enforce REAL ID requirements beginning May 7, 2025 President George W. Bush signed the REAL ID Act [PDF] into law in 2005. It requires that an identity document, like a driver's license, show that the holder has had their identity verified. Real IDs would be necessary for accessing federal facilities and nuclear power plants, and boarding commercial flights in the United States. The TSA now wants to implement the program by May 7, 2025 and a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking has been published that would provide federal agencies with the necessary flexibility to begin enforcement of the REAL ID regulations on the May 7, 2025 deadline in a manner that takes into account security, operational risk, and public impact. As businesses become more aware of the risks associated with fake IDs, they are also getting better at identifying them. It is important to know how to spot a fake ID in case you come across one. Here are some tips: 1.Examine the hologram - Real IDs have a raised hologram that is difficult to replicate and should look futuristic.2.Look for errors - Fake IDs may contain typos, misspelled words, or incorrect information.3.Inspect the picture - Check if the person in the photo matches the age stated on the ID, if details like hair color and eye color are accurate, and if the picture looks professional.4.Verify the expiration date - Check if the expiration date is up-to-date and not expired.5.Compare features - Compare the colors, holograms, font size, and text placement to a legitimate ID from your state or country.6.Confirm the ID number - Verify the ID number with your state's database by calling the local DMV with the ID holder's permission. According to the National Weather Service there is a slight chance of snow between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Cedar Rapids area. Besides that it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 41 degrees. On Tuesday night it will be partly cloudy, with a low of around 25 degrees.Iowans who have yet to receive a gold star license to become compliant under federal law to fly domestically will have two more years to do so.The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced Monday it is delaying full enforcement of the REAL ID Act, extending the deadline from May 3, 2023 to May 7, 2025. The announcement marks the department's third pandemic-related extension. That means states now will have additional time to ensure residents have driver's licenses and identification cards that meet the security standards established by the federal law. To meet the federal requirements, individuals will have to bring documents that prove their identity and date of birth (such as a certified copy of a birth certificate or valid passport), Social Security number, legal status or authorized presence in the United States, residential address and proof of name change (most commonly a certified marriage certificate).Iowans can create a customized list of documents they will need to bring with them at the Iowa DOT website.Maybe by the time Iowans want to fly with their REAL IDs, there will be some more pilots to fly their planes. A day after bowl game executives revealed that the University of Iowa was being invited to this year's Transperfect Music City Bowl in Nashville, the Hawkeye faithful were buying up travel packages that — for the first time in decades — don't include a chartered flight option.“We were not able to secure a chartered plane this year due to crew and staff shortages over the holidays,” Duane Jasper, owner and chief executive officer of Travel Leaders/Destinations Unlimited, told The Gazette.“I cannot think of time when a charter wasn't offered,” he said. “Unfortunately, the airline industry is facing staffing and crew shortages, and a charter was not available this year.”This year's faceoff against Kentucky amounts to a rematch after the Hawkeyes lost to Kentucky in the Citrus Bowl last year, when Destinations Unlimited coordinated Hawkeye bowl travel for about 400 people in the first week of ticket sales. For that game, the agency sold out its only 240-seat charter flight within 24 hours.A Mount Vernon man was arrested this weekend on charges that he locked a woman in her own home at knife point and attempted to sexually assault her.Gabriel Conner Goslin, 19, is charged in Linn County court with first-degree burglary and second-degree kidnapping, both felonies. He knew the woman, but only as a past acquaintance. He brandished a knife and took the woman's house keys, then forced her inside the home and confined her there. With one week to go until Best Friend Weekend Phase 3.6, Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve and Los aka C.A.P. linked up to run through some funny stories and interesting events of the past week. Rumble Williams led off with his thoughts on a watered-down Black History Month (01:00) which led us to talk about great inventions and our favorite ‘characters’ from Black History. After running down the events of BFW Houston (16:00), we talked about the Lovers & Friends Festival, particularly if we think it’s real and who are the top performers on the card (20:00). Next Aldo let us know What Burned His Boudin this week including miscolored emojis (32:00), twins (36:00) and red vines (38:00). In keeping with the theme of black history, we discussed Deontay Wilder’s last fight and the implications for black people (43:00) before running down the topics of Real IDs (53:00), early voting (1:00:00) and Zion’s first matchup with LeBron (1:03:00). Bernie Sanders' big win in Nevada, especially among the Hispanic population, is being credited to demographic change. Weird, since any time conservatives mention demographic change, they're accused of being Nazis. Bernie's campaign is composed of illegal immigrants who are shaping his policy vision on illegal immigration. This is why assimilation is so important. Then, REAL IDs will soon be required to enter a federal building or board a flight. These IDs cannot be issued to illegal immigrants; therefore, they would be the perfect form of identification to secure our election this November. Finally, Eddie Scarry of the Washington Examiner joins to discuss his new book, which is all about the actual victims in America and why we elevate them.
