Good Weekend senior writer Melissa Fyfe recently profiled Crowe, examining his work counseling everyone from CEOs to students to soldiers, and now hosts an in-depth chat with the man himself. In this latest episode of Good Weekend Talks - a magazine for your ears, in which top journalists from across The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age host discursive conversations with the people capturing the imagination of Australians right now - Crowe answers all the big questions. Does a mindset coach need his own mindset coach? What is a ‘courage mantra' - and how do you come up with one? What was Shane Warne really like? And what is the meaning of life?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Who is the greatest surfer of all time? That's the question we raise in this week's episode. We have the obvious contenders in Layne Beachley and Stephanie Gilmore, along with historical women like Joyce Hoffman, Margo Oberg, Frieda Zamba, Wendy Botha and Lisa Anderson, but is competition the only marker? Also, at what point can we start introducing Carissa Moore into that conversation? Shannon and Rachael take a look back in history and dig into the stats to see where their opinions lay.Sliding right along that conversation is our Hot Topics, which kick off with the second season of Rivals, featuring the one and only Layne Beachley, along with the premiere of The Ultimate Surfer, the start of the 2022 Regional QS in France and we also learn about how Her Wave are addressing the exact issue we raised in our last episode - training more women to fill roles in the surf industry. For our Post-Heat we catch up with the iconic Heather Clark fresh off a finals berth at the South African Masters in Victoria Bay.Chapters00:00 - Intro: Malibu meet-up's and conversations with whales04:49 - Hot Topics: Rivals Season 2, Her Wave, The Ultimate Surfer, Rip Curl Pro Anglet21:57 - Post-Heat: Shannon interviews Heather Clark34:02 - Main Discussion: Who is the GOAT?Go DeeperJoin: Her Wave Lead Her Leadership MasterclassWatch: Rivals Season 2, The Ultimate Surfer, Rip Curl Pro AngletInfoMusic: Dry Grass, courtesy of Body TypeContact: info@womensurf.netInstagram: @the.double.upWeb: www.womensurf.net
